Chapter IV

College Affairs

I still couldn't grasp all of this, Ellie kissed me, Katie still had some sort of feelings for me...and I was still laying in bed, not dressed for the party I soon had to attend. I stood up walking over to the dresser, slipping on the tight material, black heels and brushing out my hair. I did some smokey makeup and put on some dark, almost velvety lipstick. I was ready, now I just had to wait for E-

"Ellie!" I said watching the girl walk in shutting the door behind her, her neck having a small, oval shaped purple mark on it. I felt nauseous. She grabbed her button up and some casual jeans made her way into the bathroom, ignoring my greetings completely. "ready?" the green eyed monster said walking out of the room, slipping on her converse and grabbing her keys. I watched her eyes dart from my breasts back up to my eyes then my lips. I walked past her disgusted with her hickey and the disrespectful demeanor she carried. We made it into the car, the heavy smell of weed and bo hit my nose. I felt eager to gag, I swallowed it and took a shot from the pink flask I brought with me. The harsh liquid coating my warm throat, the stinging distracted me from the pungent smell and my whore of a roommate.

Ellie pulled into a driveway, the house was large. A white siding with some blue shingles, the roof was a dark brown. It was cute and homely. We made our way in, Ellie walked away from me immediately going to greet some guy and his girlfriend. I rolled my eyes and headed towards Lila and Richie, the two stood near one another drink in hand, faces plastered with sweat and smiles. "Hii!" I felt Lila's body wrap around mine, I felt more at home. Richie patted my back along with handing me a red solo with some fruity smelling liquid. "Katie went with some guy a few minutes ago, you literally just missed her! Have you guys talked since-?" Fuck, I had totally forgotten to make up with Kate, I needed to or else I'd loose my pride and best friend. "No not yet, I've been busy with school and-" , "Ellie..?" Lila said cutting me off, my face turned a crimson and I playfully pushed her away.

"Shut up! no yuck, she's a total whore I am not into that" I said blatantly lying, Lila knew she had always seen right through me. "I'm gonna go wander, see who I can find" Lila and Richard nodded, I turned away from the lovebirds and started heading towards the large brown sofa. I sunk into the couch sighing out, I took a swig and looked around at all the people. That was until I felt the couch go in a little further, I looked over at the person who sat down. It was Katie, shit. "Hi y/n" the girl said looking tearful, I didn't know what to say or how to say anything. "Listen Kate..I'm really-" , "sorry, I know you are y/n. I regret ruining our friendship so much, can we please just go back to how we were? prior to all the dumb sex shit?" I nodded right away. I melted into her arms feeling like I was sixteen again. I felt relief, calm and tipsy. "I'm going to head outside for a smoke, love you y/n see you after 'kay? if you need a ride just let me know." My sweet Kates was back. I watched her walk away, her hips swaying along with the beat of the song. I glanced around once again, nobody was interesting, I stood up once again heading into the kitchen for a refill.

"S'more?" I looked over at the culprit of the voice, there stood the coffee shop girl. She poured some vodka and cranberry juice into a new solo. I nodded watching her smirk handing me the drink, "You didn't poison this right?" I asked earning a laugh from the broad. "Hmm maybe I did, and maybe I did with your Chai too" I laughed taking a long swig, "I wouldn't mind that really, it'd spice up my life" I winked at her. "I never got your name by the way" , "Abby" she said taking a swig of the beer she had in her right hand. "Well Abby, care to join me for a dance?" Abby took the last of her beer placing it on the counter top, she placed her hand out implying for mine to collide with hers. I guided her into the living room which was the designated spot, My arms rested above her shoulders. Her hands wrapped around my waist, the music was slow yet fast, 3005 by Childish Gambino began playing. I felt the alcohol in my body begin to really settle in, I felt myself warm up, the heat coarsing through my veins like a wild fire. I turned around rubbing my back against her stomach, I felt her defined body against my back, I arched at the thought of her having her way with me...

I turned back around rubbing my palm down her perfectly toned body, a small sigh came out from her lips. I smirked knowing I had control now, the music got slower, I leaned in towards her neck breathing heavily onto her ear. I began leaving small kisses trailing down to her jawline. I leaned in pressing my lips against hers, I stuck my tongue into her mouth earning a small moan. I felt back up her body, gripping her hip then sliding my tongue out of her mouth biting her bottom lip on my way out. When I pulled away I saw her bright red face, I smiled and left a small peak on the side of her cheek. I started making my way into the bathroom, the room was spinning, my head was dizzy and I felt the contents of my stomach begin to rise into my throat.

I bursted through the doors rushing over to the toilet, I bent over puking. I felt a hand on my back and somebody holding back my hair, I glanced around seeing Abby. Her bright blue eyes staring back at me, she didn't look grossed out....or annoyed or anything. She looked HAPPY to be helping me. She rubbed my back until I was done, she got up and walked out, I figured she was done with me now after seeing me puke my entirety out. This was until she walked back in holding a solo with water and some bread. I chuckled at the pieces of white Wonder bread. "It was all Jesse had" She said, I felt bad now, she was frowning. I stood up off of my feet, I stumbled over to her and hugged. My arms wrapped around her warm neck and broad shoulders once again.

"Thank you Abs" I said drinking the water and taking a small bite of the bread. I watched her concern grow, "Y/n I should probably take you home-" Abby was cut off by the door being ripped open. An angry Ellie stumbled in shutting the door behind her. "What the fuck? you get this drunk and now you're all over her? what the fuck y/n seriously.." I was astonished, who did Ellie think she was? "Ellie what the fuck with YOU? I'm not yours...and Abby is in here with me because I was puking you sick fuck." I watched as Ellie rolled her eyes slamming the door behind her. The trailing smell of weed was left lingering. "Woah did I just mess something up or-" , "Abby...you're fine she's my roommate who- just never mind please just take me home now."

I must've passed out, I woke up in my bed with an oversized T on and my hair tied back. My head was pounding as if a ton of bricks slammed right on it. I laid back down immediately upon the pain hitting me. I looked over at my bedside table where sat my phone, plugged in, some Aspirin, a water and a small piece of paper. I snatched the paper up I scanned it analyzing.. "text me 206-334-6230" I smiled knowing it must be Abby. I right away grabbed my phone, I typed in the numbers and pressed send.

I smiled and threw my phone down next to me, I needed to attempt and clean myself up. I stood up stumbling over to my dresser, pulling out some boxers and an old Beastie Boys shirt from my dad. I turned the facet on the hottest setting, the feeling of the hot water running down my back cleared my sinuses. I washed my hair, took off my makeup, brushed my teeth. I came out threw on my clothes and took that Aspirin, just as I sat down I watched Abby walk in holding a Chai, a box of pastries and some Mcdonalds. My stomach grumbled as she placed the goodie filled box and bag on the counter.

"You look pretty" she said coming over and placing a kiss on my forhead. She took off her shoes and jacket, handed me my Chai and pulled out a laptop from her backpack. "I was thinking...It's a shitty, rainy day so let's stay at your dorm, watch movies and eat junk food? hmm?" I grinned, "I really could marry you right now" , "Wow hold on girl we just met-" I cut her off by kissing her, my lips smashed against hers, our tongues intertwined. The sweet taste of pine came over my senses, I could cum right now. I climbed on top of her, running my hands over her stomach, the ridges of her abs made my panties soak.

"Okay...okay" she pushed me away kissing me one last time then grabbing the food and plopping next to me. We cuddled up and began scanning for a movie.

I pushed y/n away, I knew I had to go get some weed before this party. I said my goodbyes and headed out, I pulled into the parking lot of my ex's, ex. I knew she'd always give me some, I knocked on the door, the dark haired girl answered. "Hey Anastasia, you got any of-" I was cut off by a hug and squeals. "Yes of course Ellie, c'mon in" I was overtaken by the smell of weed and incense, her apartment was always clean. I sat down on the dark blue couch and started watching the Breaking Bad episode on her flat screen. She was a very hard-working woman, she worked six days a week at her own hand crafted store. She painted and drew, she had Etsy accounts where she'd sell her items across the world. She made a decent amount, she just grew and sold on the side.

She brought out a bag of my usual, a few buds wouldn't cost much. I pulled out my wallet before I looked up realizing she didn't want to be paid like that. Her tatted silhouette scurried over to me straddling me, her tongue slipped into my mouth. She always tasted sweet, I never mind having sex with her. When Cat first introduced me to her, I couldn't stop staring, her dark brown eyes and long, thick locs had me in a chokehold. "What the fuck?" We argued back and forth until I realized this HAS to be the liquor talking. "I'm not yours-" I felt sick, fuck I did not need to come off as some fucking simp. I immediately left the bathroom and sprinting out to my car, I figured I'd spend the night at Dina's dorm, I pulled out another rolled and lit it, I headed towards Mcdonalds...I needed to let off some steam before I went back to D's. Maybe I could hit up Sarah?

~ The same night prior ~

~ Abby point of view ~

I pulled up to Jesse's house, I admired the outside for a short while until I went in. I wandered making short convo's with people until my eyes landed on a familiar face. I walked into the kitchen and began pouring a drink for her.

Y/n led me to the dance floor, she was so sexy god. I really hope Ellie didn't get to her yet...she grinded against, her hand running down my abs. I couldn't control myself, I wanted to scoop her up and strip her, lick her down and fuck the shit out of her-

She pecked me then began walking away....I was confused, I followed her. I opened the door to see a puking mess. I cleaned her up, everything was going well until Ellie walked in. Fuck she definitely was Ellie's girl this always happened. "I'm not yours-" Oh shit. Ellie did NOT like that, I saw her face drop. She sprinted out of the bathroom, slamming the door behind her. I laughed just as y/n collapsed into my arms asking to be taken home. I drove her home, carried her upstairs and placed her onto the bed I was assuming was hers. "Please get me cloths" She attempted to ask yet slurring her words. I scooped her up closing my eyes while changing her. I placed her into bed, got some water and Aspirin.

"shit I need some paper" I wandered looking for a notepad, I stole some out of Ellie's bag, jotting down my number then heading out. I was falling for her...and I think she is falling for Ellie. I drove home silently, I got inside my apartment, rubbed my Frenchies belly then headed to bed. 'I just need to pray she texts me' I thought as I drifted off.

"Your phone is going off Abby" Lev said, I walked over checking it out.

AHH IT'S HER!!

I immediately texted back, I grabbed a few pastries and some Mcdonalds and began heading her way. I need to win her over, not this time Ellie.

Wizards Hearts: The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

Wizards Hearts Game/Fest has been running for a full month! We started things off September 1, and now have over 70 players dealing out some serious love to our fandom creators in the form of thoughtful comments and recs. If you haven’t signed up, it’s not too late.

Players are sorted and assigned at random to four different teams. All team activities and discussions are completely optional but can yield extra points to help win the game! There are weekly team activities and longer, creative team activities where players can imagine new, fun headcanons in the Harry Potter universe and perhaps a few stories of their own!

Team Activity 3: Spooky Season Celebrations and Menu Items

It's that time of year... one that is special to all ancient and magical communities. It's Halloween! The Wizarding Gambling Commission is trying to take an inventory of all of the events that will be happening this month so that we can promote accordingly. We know that you all have very unique and interesting traditions this time of year that make your establishments stand out among the others. We asked an intern to help collect this data for advertising, but unfortunately Mr. Creevey came back with almost nothing useful besides photos of famous patrons and lots of autographs. We are trying to make a deadline here and we apologize for any inconvenience. Could you please provide us with the following for the travel brochure?

What does your casino do to celebrate this time of year? Tell us about the festivities and what makes it unique to your establishment.

Also, our food and culture writer is doing a piece on the most unique food and drink specialties in the Wizarding World. We know you each have very unique menus. Would you kindly provide us with what draws patrons to your restaurant?

Team 1: Loch Lomond’s Treasure

Team 2: Golden Scales

The Dragon Scales Casino is organising a Masquerade and Bonfire night to welcome the season. This event will take place on All Hallows' Eve, so bring your best mask and your whimsy and prepare for a magical evening. Enjoy the warmth of a bonfire lit by our dragons followed by a spectacular light show performed by them. The decor for this event has carved pumpkins with little dragons sitting inside them and a lot of warm, autumn colors. For your entertainment, we have a treasure hunt for the dragon's hoard. Each vendor has a different clue, and you must piece them all together to find the hidden prize. We also have a spellcaster who specializes in fire spells, so come one, come all to learn a new fire spell. You can learn spells that change the color of the fire or create fantastical shapes, among many others!

At the bonfire, you can order some of our special foods and beverages. Dragon fries - Spicy fries that make you breathe fire (not literally though) Fire logs - Spicy meats and veg or something on the grill like a korean bbq... Boozy S'mores - A blended concoction of chocolate ice-cream, marshmallows, generous splashes of Ogdens finest and other goodies... For that sweet, warm high. Flaming Dragon’s Blood Cocktail - A mint and dragonfruit daiquiri cocktail with a thin layer of dragonberry rum on top lit by our miniature dragons for that flaming effect! Dragon Bite - A shot of our secret Fireball Tequila with salt and lemon. Dragon's hoard - chocolate pudding topped with chocolate rocks and some dragon (Cadbury) eggs in a dragon scale textured cup And of course Queen of the night, our signature drink that makes you breathe fire, is always available.

Team 3: Vanaheim

For 364 days of the year, Vanaheim is located in a secret location on the ocean floor. But once a year, on All Hallows’ Eve, the ancient Viking ship rises to the surface for a grand celebration. Extension and Buoyancy Charms are added for additional occupancy, but our Halloween celebration is still very exclusive (please be sure to book a year in advance). On this night, the gods walk among us. Expect to brush shoulders with Thor, Loki, Baldur, Heimdall, Freya or, if you are very lucky, Odin himself. At midnight, our guests will be treated to an exceptional display of fireworks - custom made from Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes - to the rousing sounds of Old Norse battle music.

For dinner you are in for a treat. Our specially bred goats (descended from the goat eaten by Thor and Loki, from which our dice were carved) are rubbed with our secret blend of herbs and spices and slow-roasted over an open fire-pit located at the stern of the ship. Thinly sliced and served with a side of roasted carrots and caramelised baby potatoes, the tender meat will melt in your mouth and bring you luck for the year to come. For dessert you will enjoy a selection of lightly spiced honey cakes. Vanaheim brews its own mead in the Old World style. Fermented with raw honey, juniper, hibiscus and infused with special herbs, our mead is stirred with a birch totem stick, gifted from Kvasir, and chanted over throughout the brewing process to invoke the good will of the gods. When you drink our mead, you may experience some of its illuminating properties. You may find yourself noticing things about your companions that you may have overlooked - perhaps they are especially thoughtful, or have a knack for remembering birthdays - and they may notice your unique gifts in return. No matter what, our endless barrels of mead will have you feeling joyous and festive into the wee hours of the morning

Team 4: Arc en Ciel

Although Arc en Ciel Crêperie & Wizarding Casino is established in France and therefore the country does not traditionally celebrate Hallowe'en, the new manager spent some time in the United States and fell in love with the holiday, and pulls out all the stops for the Casino's guests. For the entire month of October, they hire real ghosts from around the country to haunt the casino and spook the guests (although there was one year where a ghost was caught helping a guest to cheat at cards and needed to be kicked out...it wasn't a pretty sight.) The night of All Hallow's Eve, a vampire band famous for their guitar solos performs on the main stage, and the bar serves specialty "spooky" cocktails.

For the holiday season, Arc en Ciel Crêperie & Wizarding Casino has several seasonal crêpes including a pumpkin crêpe and an apple cinnamon spice crêpe, which can be paired with specialty cocktails such as the Howling Mary Sunset or the Hot Buttered Devil Tonic.
