We are looking for Recovery Volunteers on Mondays and Thursdays to handle the critical role of ensuring that our feline patients recover safely after surgery. These volunteers also make sure all cats have clean, safe carriers to go home in. This is a fast-paced, hands-on position that requires someone with the ability to multitask who is comfortable with cleaning and overseeing anesthetized patients. Cats

My current landlord has been a heaven sent, but he has made me realize many things I hadn’t yet. 

First, people want, but since there are so many emotionally, financially, or physically unstable people, whatever they want usually ends up on the side of the road.

Second, most people see animals as a way to make money. I’ve seen people force their cat to have three litters within a year when she was only two then sell all the kittens

Three, OVERPOPULATION. This is such a HUGE issue!! It is not that hard to spay or neuter your cat especially in Florida where they have FREE spay/neuter clinics once a month! I’m unsure if they have this kind of stuff elsewhere, but they have it here!
