Idk if this a legitimate trope but I love it to death. The “last light in a dark world” character in a group of lost souls and the little sunshine has a “I made the sacrifice because I’m the only one with anything left to sacrifice and now I just like the rest of you” moment only to be yelled and then comforted by their group because the group tried so hard to to make sure their little light didn’t become like them.
