Potential Destiny Conlangs
Destiny is an interesting franchise. looking past all the Microtransactions and accusations of bad writing, the lore is interesting and well populated. speaking of population, I wonder what kind of languages they would speak.
Creating languages for the factions/races/species of the Destiny universe has been something I toyed around with after my start as a Conlanger and encounter with the Franchise and before I got this Tumblr account. I can't help it, I see a potentially interesting culture, I want to give them their own way of speaking. that is, if the creators haven't already taken care of that. or the fans (looking at you @abidethetempest , keep up the good work. I'll try not to accidently copy your work) or are potentially going to (good luck, @lubraean-humbled. sorry, I can't help. this is something I have to do on my own. For now, at least). either way, I hope to have fun, as always, with these projects.
as for who I will be constructing languages for. The Cabal have taken my interest by the neck since day one of me reading about Destiny in that one gamer magazine. they very well might take up the most of my efforts. that isn't to say that the other three antagonist species. in order of interest, those being The Vex, The Fallen, and The Hive. However, I now realized (and in some cases remembered) that other species exist outside of these four. excluding the humans, I may try to explore the linguistic caricature of the Awoken and maybe The Exos. I have been aware that the Cabal's Psions being a separate species, maybe I can make them a substrate language used for personal communication among themselves and for their rituals. I have become aware through lubraen-humbled that Rhulk as well as The Witness are members of their own species (I think. Not sure yet. Could use some clarification, please) and maybe I might create ones for them as well. this is on top of me finding out about the various species from the official(?) "Destinypedia." long story short, I'll keep a pin for any of those in the future.
All that said, I must disclaim that I will not be keeping strictly to the canon and in fact will even use head canons if the opportunity arises. it's just more fun for me that way. that isn't to say that I'll be flagrantly ignoring the lore most of the time. this is all just a fun set of linguistic experiments for me to play around with anyways. but there are still some interesting canon lore pieces that intrigue me and that I will use in said projects.
That is all I have to say, for now. honestly, this project might not even lift off the ground. but if you do find all of this interesting, then I invite you to share your own thoughts and ideas. it's always nice to read from others and may help serve as a source of inspiration for me.
That is all. Till next time... ;).

Hello!
So I just realised about 300+ people decided to follow me and, I suppose, read my stories? And 300 is such a small number but to me it's surreal that so many of you want to read what I write!
So I thought I'd introduce myself a little, just to be polite you know, and be like those author blurbs they put on the inside flap of books. So read on if you want to know more about me and my writing, or just keep scrolling if you'd rather I remain a redheaded mystery with a thing for Frankie Morales.
Also, chapter 16 of The Pilot and his Girl will be posted tomorrow, it just needs another round of editing.
Also, again, this got long, so if you can't be bothered reading all my ramblings below the cut, I totally understand. I have a habit of getting wordy....
So, I'm in my 40's and I've been writing for most of my life, starting with embarrassing little short stories in adorable misspelled fashion when I was just wee. I aspired to be a journalist and then went on a completely different tangent career wise, ending up with a PhD in an area I no longer work in (fifteen years of higher education never to be touched again but you definitely want me on your team in a pub quiz!). I have vague memories of writing fan fiction in my early 20, I think? (I'm old, give me a break). But I only got back to it late last year as a way to kick start my imagination and discipline around writing again. I needed a creative outlet and writing is something I always enjoyed and found easy to do.
I live in England, in the amazing but fucking expensive city of London. I look pretty much like my profile picture, only more wrinkles and maybe a bit of silver in all that gingerness. I'm a very good cook and baker (Pedro, I'll teach you how to cook any day!) and I'm married to my very own sweet Latino man. He's not called Frankie but he does call me cariño. I have big chunk of family in Sweden and I speak a little bit of Swedish (it's actually where I am right now, we're over here celebrating midsummer).
I started writing fanfics for The Boys fandom and Karl Urban as I was binging the whole show after finishing season 4. Then I stumbled into the Pedro Pascal fandom as I watched The Last of Us.
TLoU has a very special place in my heart. I've been gaming since my early teens and bought a Playstation 3 after saving for months, my first console after playing on PC for years. When TLoU came out in 2013 I bought and played it straight away and I, like so many others, had an experience playing it. It's the only story, in any medium, that's made me cry after just 10-15 minutes of game play. The scene were Sarah dies, still gets me every time. And the rest of the game...I turned up at work the next week in a daze, just needing to tell people about this incredible story and experience I'd had. It was like no other game I'd ever played, before or since. And I've replayed the game about once a year since 2013. Back then, that kind of game was totally unique, there was nothing like it. Some games had explored stronger story telling elements, but not on this level, nothing came even close to creating such a bond between gamer and characters. Now days we're spoiled by powerful storytelling in video games, in 2013, The Last of Us was totally unique (sorry, I'm blabbering, but I could go on at length about TLoU and the impact it had).
So when I heard there was talks about turning into a tv-series, I was scared. Really worried. The gaming community have seen so many horrendous adaptations of video games, my beloved Assassin's Creed was butchered in 2016. But then I heard Pedro Pascal had been cast as Joel and I was carefully hopeful, and then Bella Ramsey as Ellie and I got really excited. I'd seen them both in Game of Thrones, both of their performances sticking in my mind. I even remember reading about Pedro being cast in GoT and looking him up and being disappointed because he looked nothing like I'd pictured the Red Viper when I read the books. But then he just swanned in and crushed it, he was so damn good, he won me over straight away. I can't imagine anyone else playing Oberyn.
And then of course, the first few trailers of TLoU dropped and we got glimpses of the show and I remember texting my equally TLoU obsessed friend and we squealed in delight at how good it looked! And the first time I heard the clicker sound....I shuddered, it was a very real physical reaction. If I'd been on the actual set and heard it, I think I would've run a mile.
And then, as I was still writing The British Connection, a fic set in The Boys fandom, I watched Triple Frontier, and, like so many others, fell hard for sweet Frankie Morales. So jumping the gun a bit, I decided to write something with him, just a drabble, to get used to writing him and to write in the Reader insert format. But it kind a grew in scope and when I had the idea of sticking him and the rest of the Triple Frontier boys into TLoU universe I knew I had to create something bigger.
Looking back I would've made the story tighter, less lengthy, had I known from the start that's where it was going to go. But part of the fun of fan fiction is posting as you go, I think. I get feedback from you guys and it makes me think of other elements to add to the story. There isn't always a set road map for how a fic is going to develop.
If you've made it this far, congratulations and thank you, I'm impressed you read all that rambling from some stranger on Tumblr! The Pilot and his Girl has a set plan now, I have chapters drawn up and although I'm not sure how many chapters I'm going to end up with, I know where the story is going. You'll find out what's happened to Pope, Will and Benny. And Joel and Tommy will of course come back to the story later on. There will be more trauma and angst as the story continues but there will be a happy ending, of sorts, in the end.
And again, thank you all for reading, commenting and reblogging! I love you all!

what music/games do you all listen to
Doc here. The rest of the crew is out on operations and Carl is in surgery for the fifth time this year, so I'll answer you. Sorry 'bout the delay.
Mistral likes Arch Enemy a lot. I didn't really take her for a death metal gal, but hey, what do I know. She listens to a lot of New Wave, too. She LOVES Blondie and got me and the guys (except Sundowner) into Joy Division. Mistral also listens to a lot of film scores to wind down, especially Gladiator and Blade Runner.
As for games, I know she's a big fan of older action games, the older Resident Evils, Quake and Doom and whatnot. Talks a lot of shit in fps forums.
Monsoon is...something. Handing him the aux when we go out is like a game of auditory Russian roulette. He could put on some Ros Sereysothea from when he was a kid. He could play nothing but Die Antwoord. He could play 70's Queen. He could play incoherent electronic sounds until you scream at him.
He's the biggest gamer out of all of us, his favorites are DMC and Bayonetta. He's competing in the Wii Taser Boxing tournament with Sundowner and I now, and if he wins, we'll be hearing about it for the next six months.
Sundowner is a simple man. He likes rock, country, and that's about it. We have a lot of the same taste in country artists, we grew up on Cash, Nelson, Jennings, and, as much as he'll deny it, he'd take a bullet for Dolly Parton. Sadly, with the exception of Lynyrd Skynyrd and Motörhead, his taste in rock is a bag of hot shit. Once I tried to tell him Five Finger Death Punch is for angry alcoholics with erectile dysfunction and he just yelled "HELL YEAH BROTHER" and cranked it louder.
He isn't really a video game guy. The only video game he plays is Wii Sports, and he only plays it because I challenged him.
Sam, interestingly enough, likes grunge and 80's rock. Some of his favorite bands are Van Halen, Foo Fighters, and Iron Maiden. He can sing almost every Black Sabbath song in Portuguese. He's been trying to learn Eruption on guitar. Once we were out drinking and he somehow managed to play it flawlessly on some kid's ukulele. I guess beer gives him guitarist powers. Oh, and he loves Shakira. No matter where he is, if you put her on, he will drop everything and get up to dance. Flawlessly.
Sam's our second biggest gamer. He's a fighting game guy. I still can't beat him at Mortal Kombat or Guilty Gear. He could probably thrash me with his eyes shut, too. Maybe I'm too old for this shit.
Intern Carl probably listens to Imagine Dragons or some dumb shit like that. Probably plays Tetris on his stupid little phone.
I listen to a lot of country, I also had a buddy back at ArmsTech who got me into industrial music. We used to swap cassettes while we worked, I'd listen to his mix while he'd listen to my Merle tape. I hope he's doing well.
I haven't gamed much. I remember liking Half Life a lot when I was younger. Had a coworker who's last name was Freeman, so I used to mess with him, talking to him in an awful G-Man impression...miss that guy.
That should answer your question. Sorry again about the wait; Desperados stay pretty busy.

Holy gosh, we've made it up to sixty now! And it's been a pretty good run since the last showcase, if I do say so. I improved a bit at traditional drawing, wrote a short story, and even got in a few digital drawings! Sadly, my pace is still not as fast as I'd like it to be (which makes sense, given that drawing is still just a hobby for me and not a career), but when it comes to artwork, I'll take quality over quantity any time, even if it's my own artwork. Thanks again for waiting it out with me!
So, what's next? There's a Lucky Star drawing and a Great Ace Attorney Chronicles drawing coming up, but...I'm afraid everything after that will have to remain a mystery for now.
...Even to me, because I'm not entirely sure what I wanna draw next. 😅
New ideas keep popping into my head every now and then, though, so I'll keep saving the best ones for this blog. And who knows, maybe I'll get the time I need to start doing commissions somewhere down the road! That's not a promise, but it's definitely something I'd love to try if I get the chance. God only knows. 😉
I hope your summer's been a good one, and if not...well, I hope it picks up soon. Best of luck to those of you going back to school, and do your best at learning all you can so you don't end up like me! (That's a joke.) Meanwhile, I'll keep do my best to keep improving as an artist, a writer, and a person. Let's give it our best shot!

What’s next Nagi?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Well... time to get to the last one...
*CLICK*
[09/23/17]
*Kazuichi walks in and sits down*
Tumblr media
Okay... I think I'm ready...
USAMI: Welcome back Kazuichi... I take it this would be another session?
Tumblr media
No, I...I think I'm ready to talk now, especially after what happen recently...
USAMI: Oh and what happen?
Tumblr media
...You probably hear this from Nagi but you remember how we excluded her from Hatomi's funeral despite her helping to set everything up?
USAMI: Oh yes... I did hear about that, what you all did wasn't okay...
Tumblr media
Yeah yeah, I know... I know I fuck up but look if you wan to blame anyone for that, that was all Nagito! He was going on and on about being in the Reserve Course.
Tumblr media
And let's say when we learn what Nagi was from Ibuki, well... you can see why...
...
...
...
Date: September 1st, 2011
Tumblr media
Wait so... are you saying that Nagi Nanami women has these connections to Hope's Peak...?
Tumblr media
Yeah... I ask my mom about it, seems Nagi's family all were former Hope's Peak Academy students; going from her dad, grandparents on both side and even her great grandma too... like her whole family are all Ultimates...
Tumblr media
Yeah... dad wasn't too happy about it either, I even look it up and seems Nagi's family was pretty well known...
Tumblr media
Which Nagito, Hiyoko, Kazuichi... you really screw up this time...
Tumblr media
...
Tumblr media
...
Tumblr media
W-We...We didn't know, we just... we thought Nagi was from the reserve course... Damnit Yukio, why did you have to take off and tell her parents?!
Tumblr media
Because it was the right thing to do and what you 3 did was not okay, no matter what...
Tumblr media
We were all suppose to accept her even if she's from the Reserve Course, she is now with us like it or not and honestly, I could imagine Hatomi rolling in her grave due to what you 3 did!
Tumblr media
S-So what! She didn't even know Hatomi, so why the hell does it matter?! We just thought that her being there would be disrespectful!
Tumblr media
And yet she help set up the funeral, arrange everything, even help with food and various other things when everyone else was busy, what you 3 was not decided; we would never agree to this!
Tumblr media
Exactly, you 3 were not working together as a team! You 3 decided to not include her, you should be ashamed of yourselves!
Tumblr media
He-Hey hey it's not our fault, it was all Nagito! He was the one that told us that we shouldn't invite Nagi so if you want to blame anyone, blame this bastard!
Tumblr media
Hu-Huh?! What but I...I didn't...!
Tumblr media
I didn't know her family was this connected to Hope's Peak! I mean, she's from the Reserve Course! And you all know that I despise them greatly!
Tumblr media
Well sorry but we don't want our chance at graduating to be screw over, if the Nagi's grandmother finds out what we did; I mean you know she's the ministry of education?!
Tumblr media
Ex-Exactly, if anything this is Nagito's fault! He made us go along with his stupid plan to not include her!
Tumblr media
Soooo if you want to blame anyone for that, it's that idiot Nagito - he didn't want to invite Nagi and just use her as a stepping stone; like he always say, geez for such a fan boy of this school you sure are an idiot when it comes to it's history, maybe that girl would be far more useful then the guy that only ever got in by luck or maybe he should of kill himself months ago since he made us look like a bunch of idiots!
Tumblr media
...
Tumblr media
...
Tumblr media
Hiyoko don't say that, you aren't helping matters!
Tumblr media
Well hey as say, maybe blame that boyfriend of yours; after all he didn't want to invite the gamer girl so you better do that, anyway I better be off; have a good day!
*walks away*
Tumblr media
Sorry about that, I'll deal with her but maybe we should work on our talents and try to be nice to Nagi and try to not do something like this again...
'Yeah, it... we just push the blame on Nagito, it seem easier for us...'

A God In Teyvat: Gold
This will be the first time I write something for Genshin and the madness of SAGAU so bear with me! For now I'll leave you a sort of prologue since it felt like a very long post otherwise (plus, I didn't know how to tie the ending scene with something else). Hope you enjoy!
Tumblr media
Warnings: General sagau crazy stuff (isekai, cult behavior, violence towards the reader, all that) but this is more like having fun and surviving while ignoring all the bad stuff. Impostor!Reader. Reader is basically a cover artist, a theater kid if you will. I try to keep the reader gender neutral, but I wrote this in spanish so if a he slips out I'm sorry. Originally I had intended this to be a male reader but take it as you like, other characters see the reader as a he because of this. It's the first time I write something in this format ( 2nd person) so if there's a mistake or something, I'd really appreciate any tips you can give ^^
Part 1: You're here! / Part 2: Coming soon!
Tumblr media
Lately you'd been obsessing over a free video game. It had caught your attention as a noob gamer, a terrible one in your opinion, but the characters seemed so appealing that you decided to give it a try. You had no regrets about it. You may not have been around since day one and maybe your life didn't allow you to play daily, but Genshin Impact had become a little escape from all your daily struggles. After classes, having exhausted your body and voice practicing choreography and singing, your beloved hobbies, playing was what you needed to relax.
Perhaps you weren't the best player in the world, nor did you have that many characters, but you were happy with the ones you had. Your main team did enough damage to make the enemies look easy, sure you were a bit behind in the story, but it didn't matter; you loved exploring and fighting alongside your characters.
You'd swear that, if they existed in real life, they'd be your best friends. Maybe a potential partner for one of them. That's why, as soon as you found yourself waking up under the shade of a large tree, being surrounded by strange flowers, you knew exactly what was going on: Somehow, you had been transported to the world of Genshin.
this was surely a dream, right? You looked down at yourself, thankful that you had fallen asleep in nice clothes and not in your pajamas or underwear. There was no one around you, but you figured that even if someone else saw you, you wouldn't stand out much from the others; you were a bit modern, yes, but Kaeya wore tight leather pants, so yours was fine.
But of course, come to think of it, you didn't have any weapons with you, let alone any combat experience. So when you took a few steps forward to investigate the statue of the seven in front of you (you recognized the place, Windrise if you remember correctly) and ended up coming face to face with a pair of slimes (the two that keep popping up in this part of the map), you couldn't do anything but freeze. What were you supposed to do?
"Uh… Hello?" The pair of hydro slimes stood still, you smiled awkwardly at the situation. "Hey, look I don't have any weapons with me so… could you guys stop- HEY WHY ARE YOU GETTING CLOSER????"
You instinctively backed up a few steps, but the slimes were following you. Taking two steps to the right, two steps to the left, one slip…you were basically dancing and yet, no matter what you did, those adorable little things were following you! Not only were they following you, they seemed to look at you with adoration.
"Okey this is really weird, what's wrong with you guys, aren't you interested in attacking me?"
You knew well they couldn't answer you, but their silence and expressions said it all: they were delighted at the mere sight of you. Letting out a heavy sigh, you finally decided to sit down on the old, broken steps leading up to the statue of the seven, the slimes placing themselves next to you. At least they wouldn't attack you, that was a relief, but you still wondered what else you could do in this dream. Maybe go to Mondstadt? You really wanted to try the food of this land, or at least what your imagination could provide; you usually had to keep fit and eat healthy, so a delicious Sweet Madame or a Hash Brown didn't sound so bad. You didn't have a single coin in your pocket, though.
The slimes seemed to understand, so they just started hopping out to the open field, looking for help. As you were thinking about what else you could do in this strange dream, a few footsteps approached your figure. Suddenly, a strong male voice snapped you out of your thoughts.
"Hey you! Stop right there!" Before you could register anything, you see the tip of a sword being pointed at your neck, an NPC glaring down at you from above. "How dare you impersonate the appearance of our Creator! By my power as Knight of Favonius, you will be taken before Acting Grandmaster Jean to receive your deserved punishment."
… What?
"Whoa wow hey! Wait a minute!" You say raising your hands as a symbol of peace. "What the hell are you talking about? I just woke up, how can you accuse me of something so-"
Before you could continue speaking, the NPC, a Knight of Favonius you finally noticed, delivered a powerful kick to your chest that quickly sent you crashing to the ground, the blade of his sword was thrust too close to your waist, causing a not so deep cut. You felt the sudden loss of air and the immense pain in your ribs, as well as the sensation of your own blood threatening to run down your waist, what kind of dream was this? How could you feel pain? And, most importantly, why were you being attacked?
The knight had no respect for the one who, in his devoted eyes, was a sinner. That was the only explanation he had; that person usurped the face of his creator, but had no divine air about them. That only fueled his rage. He grabbed him roughly by the collar of their shirt, ignoring the strange fabric and lifted them up again, this time letting the person's feet dangle a few inches off the ground.
"How dare you respond!!!! A filthy creature like you has no right to talk that way, let alone with that face-" Before the knight could let out another punch, the boy decided to take advantage of his short stature and what little strength he had left to let out a kick at the NPC, knocking him down in a loud thud before the supposed sinner shouted, "M- Mitachurl!"
He was about to ignore his words and attack him again when he heard it; a growl and the imposing presence of one of those strange creatures. Right behind him was a group of Hilichurls commanded by a Mitachurl, the latter was holding his axe loaded with a pyro slime.
It happened too fast.
Still recovering from the impact on the soft grass, your heavy breathing and the sound of your heartbeat distracted you from the knight's cries for help, it seemed as if he couldn't stand on his own in front of a group of Hilichurls. You instinctively touched your waist, feeling the place where the sword cut you only to realize that you were indeed bleeding. You brought your hand up to your face unsure, only to check that it was real. Instead of finding the typical red, all you saw was gold; it looked like your hand had touched one of those edible gold sheets or something.
You were too stunned to speak, but managed to get up only to see the knight turn to ashes. You looked in horror at the group of Hilichurls, fearing for your life, but to your surprise they only knelt down in front of you. Rather awkwardly, but they did.
What was this?
Careful not to alter any of them and slowly so as not to hurt you more, you walked to the place where that NPC vanished: from him only the sword with which he wounded you remained, a Dull Blade that you lifted as best you could. It was heavy, you had never held a real weapon, but that was exactly what you feared.
Everything was real.
Still with the sword in hand, you finally passed out. The sound of Hilichurls cries running towards you was the last thing you heard before you lost consciousness...

ahhhh ty ty ty <3
ok, so I think that what makes Dream act this way (iykyk) is how dreamwastaken became so big so quickly. and by quick I mean fucking lightning speed.
he didn't have enough time to learn enough about cc etiquette, especially in these three aspects: influence, boundaries and fanbase/stans/whatever you call it. I'll try to explain it:
• Influence: Does he know the influence he has? Like, when he hears that he is the myct with the largest fanbase, does he really process that? I remember he talked about not being able to control all of his fanbase and there's bad apples everywhere -- which is true, and that only like 1% of his fanbase breaks his boundaries (that include sending hate for him, harassing, doxing, etc. yk, basic twitter culture lol) but, honey, with your big ass fanbase, 1% is still a lot of people. As a content creator you *have* to be aware of that.
let's take the hbomb situation. First off, as a streamer, it's you that set the mood of the stream. Even if he was only messing around with his pals, even if they did say to do not send hate to hbomb, dt dunking on him created a toxic environment, which caused his fans being toxic towards hbomb and you know what happens next. Hell, when this happened, I was watching Tapl and he was watching them and he was crying laughing over them screaming bc they were just. so loud and so aggressive that it was kinda ??? Sirs, this is literally a Minecraft Stream lmaooo
my point is, that was not the road that dreamwastaken, 21M fans, should've taken. he don't condone his fans actions but he knows his fans are diehard and will always be on his side, he should be more careful before stating negative opinions, especially if its towards another person.
• Boundaries and Fanbase: He posted a list of his boundaries a while ago, idk if you know or seen it (btw please george copy your bestie for the love of god <3) but I'm not talking about those boundaries, I'm talking about the basic boundaries between cc and viewer. boundaries that, in my opinion, should exist between cc and viewer. I get that Dream is an open person, an oversharing type of open person if I may add, but I think he should take a step back regardless. When I heard that he was taking a time from twitter, I genuinely got so glad, not because he couldn't start any drama then, but because it would do so so good for his mental health. I'm not even that fond of him, it's just that for me, any cc taking a break or outright leaving twitter is a win for me. I know how RSD is hard to deal and honestly letting shit out it's better but dream you have dt you have bbh so please don't make things worse online 😭 I know how good can be to feel validation from millions of people but. it's not a good idea, especially in the state that his fanbase is on rn (this topic is kinda sensitive to talk abt for me bc people be outright ableist and hide it as criticism like. say that shit's not helping his reputation and whatever without acting like he's fucking. manipulating his fanbase for being affected by his rsd💀 or, on the other hand, don't say that hes just being adhd🤪 when he's just being an asshole like damn that's a Him thing bro lol)
(omg it's so big I'm so sorry and theres a part two I'm so sorry tumblr user messed-up-gal ToT) - morango 1/2
pt. 2:
Dream is the proof that the people who loves you can be your downfall. istg. Have you noticed that every drama that Dream enters, people usually get more mad abt how his fanbase reacts (85% they'll react in a bad way) than Dream himself? it's not always, but its definitely more likely. I'm not saying Dream is saint, he Is petty and his ego does him dirty and made him choke multiple times before,, But! i dont think hes a bad guy. he's literally just a dude. ok, he's a 21yr old white gamer man that has a trumpie past (maybe?? idk. I think hes cured now ig lol) so he's bound to do some shitty things but he still tries to get better and hopefully he'll mature. 21 is old enough but it's still so young, yk? I kind of lost my mind during the end and my eyes are literally begging to be closed so tl;dr: Its gonna be hard for him to become a better cc bc his fans don't let him be criticized (by infantilizing his adhd symptoms or the mob mentality as soon as someone says anything abt him), the honest criticism get lost between lies from antis that don't know shit, he still has a lot of growing up to do and overall he became famous too fast and he needs to learn things even faster bc as soon as there's not a single one dream hater on sight they'll turn their back and attack him instead lmao I hate twitter i definitely have more to say but I'm tired and my memory is shit. just-- hate dream if you want, love dream if you want, nobody is obligated to have an opinion but I wanted to express mine. have a lovely day! -morango 2/2
Aight, there's a lot to unpack here, so Imma try to only go into the points I have something to add to (here's what I talk about in each paragraph, if you want to jump to a specific point):
Speed of Dream's rise to fame
The "bad apples" in the Dream fanbase
Post-MCC HBomb stream
Not condoning versus actually condemning his fans
Manipulation & RSD
Criticism of Dream, his fanbase, and his brand
The “just a dude” argument, flipped
First, I agree that one of the many factors that has resulted in the current image Dream has set up for himself, the way his fanbase functions, the ways people hate on him, and the way the Dream brand functions, is the speed of his rise to fame. It's unique, and there are probably a hundred social/psychological angles that could be used to examine the exact effects of that speed upon all of these facets of the Dream Name; did rapid fame beget the rapid rise of unrighteous hatred, did those waves of hatred then instigate the rise of a surprisingly overdefensive fanbase, did that rapid fame get to his head and/or result in an inability to appropriately handle all the after-effects of rapid fame, etc.? That point you bring up, about how the speed of his rise to fame requires him to learn even more quickly, is so interesting to me. I think that maybe Dream expected to get pretty famous pretty quickly, hence the preparedness in regards to some mechanics of influencer fame- merchandise, business-building, networking, knowing how to manage his fanbase to best benefit him. But I don't think he expected to get this famous this quickly. This is all speculation of course, as are this entire post and your ask, but I think that he just couldn't anticipate having to learn how to handle enmasse controversy, waves of antis, or every Youtuber speculating/knowing about him; and yeah, that results in him having to learn all of these things very quickly, lest he allow his whole brand and fandom to fall apart.
Second, I disagree with the frequent argument that Dream's fanbase is only marginally toxic. Personally, I think that the circumstances of Dream's fame, his personality and management of his fanbase, and his brand of content have resulted in the very specific kind of stan that Dream stans are. I don't think this is simply a case of "all fandoms have a small percentage of assholes who take it too far;" rather, the nature of the community itself breeds the kind of mentality of "an asshole who takes it too far." I only even know this because I was a Dream fan (kinda a stan, I'm ngl). At one time, I watched every single Dreamwastaken & Dream Team video multiple times; I listened to the Manhunts on repeat, as though they were podcasts; I followed mostly smiletwt and dttwt accounts on mcyttwt; I had upwards of 10 tabs for AO3 DNF fics open on my phone at a time; I watched DNF and Dream Team Being A Family-esque compilations on repeat; I watched every George and Sapnap alt stream I possibly could; I went out of my way to defend Dream against Redditors and Twitter antis regarding the cheating scandal. For the latter half of 2020, and a couple months of 2021, I lived and breathed this part of the fandom; so when I say that Dream stans are a whole other breed than any other kind of mcyttwt stan, I say that because I used to be like that, too. I usually use parasocial very loosely or ironically, but Dream stans are genuinely one of the most parasocial fanbases I have ever seen or been a part of. The level of investment Dream stans have in this man's life, the lengths they will go to to defend him, the amount of psychonalysis and digging they do on his life and character, the amount of emotion he can evoke in them- it's taken to another level, man. This isn't just characteristic of a fraction of his fanbase; this is what the fanbase is like as a whole.
Third, I partially disagree with your take on the HBomb thing, but not in the way one might think? I actually empathize with the way they reacted much more than I thought I would, simply because I suspect I have RSD (also suspect I have ADHD, have for several months now) and I can see myself getting insanely frustrated because of something like that. Like yeah, it was "just a MC stream" or "just an MC game," but that's kinda disregarding the fact that something that might seem like "just a [insert inconsequential thing]" to a rational mind might have a major emotional consequence/take a major emotional toll on someone with RSD, or really anyone who gets easily impatient/angry about video games (Sapnap reminds me of many of my friends, in that way). The issues I, personally, had with the way they handled the HBomb situation is that these are simply explanations and reasons for my empathy; they are not excuses. I have no excuse when I get irrationally angry about something inconsequential in my own life, for a couple of reasons. One, because I am an adult and I need to learn how to handle my reactions and manage my own anger. Two, because as someone with many mental problems, it is my responsibility to learn coping mechanisms to ensure my own emotional stability and livelihood; this includes learning whatever I need to handle RSD- whether that be isolating myself from others when I know I will become violently/passionately angry about something, creating and sustaining a support system that can get me through bouts of extreme emotion, finding healthy emotional outlets for my negative emotions that won't harm myself or others, or a combination thereof. I don't think what they said about HBomb post-MCC was an irreversibly horrible thing, or anything. I think there were errors committed by two men who should be fully capable of foreseeing and preventing those errors, but I don't unconditionally hate Dream or Sapnap for the post-MCC stream or comments. I just wish they had made amends quickly, publicly, and sufficiently, because the greatest consequences from the whole thing weren't even from those two criticizing HBomb themselves; they were from the waves of backlash because of their immense influence on the MCYT fandom, which could've been prevented, if they had acted maturedly and responsibly after the stream.
Fourth, you’re right, that he doesn’t seem to condone his fans’ behavior. I detest the frequent anti argument that one of the reasons Dream should be criticized is because he explicitly uses his fanbase to attack others, or something of the sort. Personally, I think he created his fanbase in a very specific way and interacts with them in such a way so as to benefit him as much as possible, yes, but he never actually tells his fanbase to go and yell at or harrass anyone. Still, there is a significant difference between not condoning something and condemning something. It might seem unfair, and it might be annoying of me to say this, but I truly think that someone with this large a fanbase, especially one as overzealous as Dream’s, needs to be condemned every single time it goes on some kind of rampage/harrassment campaign. Either that, or Dream needs to make a definitive, permanent statement against any kind of harrassment of others on his behalf. I know he’ll occassionally make the odd tweet or serious stream addressing something his fanbase did, but one of the many reasons his fanbase keeps doing the same damn thing is because he’s so lukewarm and spotty about this condemnation. A fanbase like his needs to be given explicit guidance and boundaries for the numerous things they do in his defense- harrassing/doxing antis, harrassing people who criticize him who aren’t antis (respectful criticism, other CCs, other MCYT stans, etc.), harrassing the people he critcizes (i.e., HBomb), speculating about his personal life (his relationship with his gf, his mental health/ADHD, his romantic life, his childhood, etc.), and speculating about his relationships with his friends and colleagues.  My personal ideology is that, if you have significant influence over someone or a group of people, you are at least somewhat responsible for the things those people do or don’t do, if it at all relates back to you. I’m so fucking tired of the argument that CCs aren’t responsible for what their fans do. Obviously they aren’t responsible for every single one of their fans, and obviously they can’t fully control their fans at the end of the day. But I think there are certain things that reach such a level of extremity that does make those CCs responsible. This can be measured by either scale or intensity; that is to say, if a CC’s fanbase does things on an extremely large scale, or one person from/a fraction of the fanbase does something really extreme, then the CC is made all the more responsible. Another CC I’ve always had trouble discussing with other people on this subject is Pewdiepie, in particular, about the extremists in his fanbase. Because the things a small handful of his fans have done in reference to him and/or in his name were so fucking extreme, I thought Pewdiepie had to take at least some responsibilty. Along a similar vein, because the things Dream’s general fanbase does are so widespread and on such a massive scale, Dream has to take at least some responsibility.
Fifth, okay. Hmmm. I want to tackle this point you made about the ableism he faces in some criticism of him carefully and with empathy, but not coddling. One, I do think a lot of the criticism he receives for the ways he handles criticism (post-cheating Tweets, reactions to John Swan, post-MCC HBomb stream, etc.), disregard his RSD and can be oftentimes ableist. I’ve actually encountered people irl who criticize this aspect of Dream’s character, and have had to explain to them their disregard for how ADHD/RSD affect neurodivergent people’s reactions to criticism. But - and this is a big, and very controversial but - I think mentally ill/disordered people can 100% leverage their mental illness/disorders for the sake of manipulation. This is actually something I’ve learned from a psychiatrist, regarding the ways people I know and I handle our anxiety and depression. This manipulation can be unwitting or intentional, but it is entirely possible, and the possibility shouldn’t be entirely dismissed as ableist. Living with a mental illness or disorder that others know about/that you are very public about puts you in an interesting position to receive frequent sympathy, empathy, and/or pity. I’m not saying that empathy for Dream having ADHD/RSD is entirely unjustified; on the contrary, I have frequently expressed how I can relate to his ADHD symptoms and have defended him for expressing those symptoms, both on mcytblr and in real life. I am saying that Dream fans tend to use his ADHD as a kind of shield for a lot of criticism levied against him, including the supposition that he could be manipulating his fanbase to defend him because of his public expressions of RSD. So yes, my theory is that Dream knows how to levy every aspect of his life for his personal gain and for the growth of his brand, and that includes his ADHD. I think he has courage for his openess about his ADHD, I think his openness has contributed to the rise in awareness of mental health and empathy for neurodivergent people within Gen Z, and I think at least some of his expressions of RSD publicly/online weren’t intentionally made public. All that being said, I also think he has to know just how much his fanbase cares about defending him for his ADHD, and I think he has to know that some of the things he does related to his neurodivergence endear him to his audience, in a coddling, baby-ing, mildly ableist sorta way.  Maybe this is all incredibly presumptuous of me. Of course, I can never know the real intentions behind any Dream video, Tweet, or stream. Maybe I’m just projecting, because I can see myself doing just this, if I had the maturity I had circa 2018-2019. Idfk know, man.
Sixth, I actually agree with you here, people probably do get more mad at his fanbase than him. Dream puts out content pretty seldomly, considering the frequency of content output for other Youtubers/streamers in his field/at his brand size. And yet, he has received masses of criticism. Considering that the things Dream himself does/says do not entirely correlate with the amount of criticism he receives, I think it’s a logical assumption that a lot of that criticism actually goes back to the size of his presence online, rather than the man himself. That is to say, because of the massive community he’s amassed, the exponential growth of his fanbase, their presence on every single social media site and in virtually every single Internet space/fandom, and the size of his metaphysical presence in his fields, Dream is much bigger than the man himself, so the criticism he receives will, at least in part, be a direct or indirect result of all these other aspects of the Dream brand.  Something I don’t think many Dream fans/stans, or even most MCYT fans in general, understand, is that Dream isn’t just “one guy” in the eyes of the Internet- at least, not anymore. He hasn’t been for nearly a year. Like Pewdiepie, Mr. Beast, and other CCs who have amassed similar levels of fame and wealth via Internet content creation, Dream is a brand now, and most people will treat him as such. He isn’t just some uwu soft boy playing Minecraft anymore. He is on a whole other level from any other MCYT in his friend circle or colleague interaction bubble. His words will never again live in a vaccum or private bubble, his friend circle will never again be under anything less than intense scrutiny, his past actions will never again be simple mistakes or silly errors, his words will never again be casual tweets or streams for laughs among a couple thousand followers. Dream’s name represents something much bigger than just the one man. As such, all aspects of his brand, including his fanbase, will tie back to him and, ultimately, to any general criticism of him.
I’m not saying I like any of this, and I actually think the evolution of influencers from people to a marketable brand with similar mechanisms, responsibilities, and liabilities as a corporation is some kind of late capitalism nightmare fuel; I’m just stating my own observations and theories as to why so much anti-Dream criticism seems to be directed at his fanbase, rather than him.
Seventh, he’s just a guy, you’re right, but I think a lot of the antis on Tumblr understand this more than you know. As I’ve seen it, the sentiment among much of the “DSMP stans DNI” crowd seems to be that of “Dream/other MCYTs are such ‘bad’ people, so why do their fans stick to these mediocre, racist men, when there are so many better people to watch/better content to consume?” We know this argument is flawed for many of the obvious reasons - the conflation of all MCYTs’ actions regardless of individual identity, the equating of a CC’s fanbase’s morality to that of the CC they enjoy watching, the exxageration of any error MCYT CCs have committed as bigotry/racism, the fundamental misunderstanding and misinformation that led antis to believe this exxageration of the facts, etc. But I want to focus on the general, underlying sentiment of, “why not watch someone better, when your creator is problematic?” Sometimes, I ask this of Dream stans. Yes, being mildly ignorant, getting involved in the scandals Dream has, and being a right-leaning/libertarian centrist in the recent past all seem like harmless things, all things considered. One could say Dream isn’t nearly as bad as many antis who are misinformed seem to believe, and that there are much worse CCs Dream stans could be watching and creating fan content for. But I think what Tumblr antis wonder is, aren’t there also much better MCYTs/CCs people could be watching and stanning? Because he’s just some guy, right? Is his content truly so exceptional or is he really so exceptional a person, that people have to stick by him, despite the things that spike up regarding his current or past actions? I think that’s what made me finally decide to stop watching Dream. I realized he was just Some Guy. The Dream Team was a comforting dynamic to indulge in, DNF was a cute ship to read and speculate about, and Manhunts were fun videos to watch; however, once the Reddit posts came out and I read them in-depth, the cost-benefit analysis tipped over to the “not worth it” side for me. I realized Dream’s content, while fun and comforting, was not entirely unique, and wasn’t worth sticking around for, given what I then knew about his past political leanings. If he is just Some Guy, then there are a hundred more like him out there. There a hundred more ships, a hundred more found family dynamics, a hundred more entertaining and skilled Minecraft players. So while I agree with you on the point of people being allowed to love him regardless because he is just a guy, at the end of the day, I think that, if we are to believe that sentiment or use that argument in such a manner, we should also understand the flip side- that, if he is just some guy, why is it worth sticking around? To that I say, maybe because people just enjoy the simple things they enjoy.
Anyways, I wholly agree with your tl;dr. Thanks for that insanely long ask, this was a fun thing to keep me occupied while I’ve been at work, facilitating Zoom sessions this whole morning.

Fractured Foundation: Chat Blanc
Summary: Since his own akumatization Chat Noir has been the perfect partner. Never questioning, never distracting, never asking for anything at all...
So, why wasn't it enough?
Ch.1 Double Standards
Chat Noir does everything right... But Adrien is still wrong.
---------------
Ladybugs swirled around him as Chat Noir came back to himself. Scanning his surroundings Chat Noir saw Ladybug helping who he assumed was a de-akumatized Backwarder.
Oh. It was over. The last thing he remembered was-
"Sorry about this Chat Noir."
... A push from behind. His heart spiking in fear. Backwarder's clock hand striking his chest.
"Chat?"
Looking up, Chat Noir held up his fist from touching the spot he was hit. He smiled at her "Bien joue, Ladybug."
"...Yeah. Bien joue." She bumped his fist and shook her head. "I need to go. Bug out!"
Vaulting over Paris, Chat Noir realized he never found out why the old lady was akumatized. But it didn't matter. All that mattered was that Ladybug won...
Adrien came out of the train's bathroom just as Gabriel did the same. Stiffening at the sight of his father, Adrien gave a slight nod and hurried to his seat. Heartbeat pounding far faster than when he was fighting Backwarder.
Kagami glanced at Adrien and he smiled reassuringly before putting his headphones in. At least he wouldn't have to sit through another lecture from Master Fu this time. Seeing as he'd be in London for the weekend.
Adrien would be in London for the weekend. No Fu, no Papillon, no Chat Noir. The thought made him feel... lighter. Taking his headphones out he turned to Kagami. "Is this your first time going to London?"
"No. Mother has taken me on several other business trips to familiarize myself with the company holdings." Kagami refocused her attention on Adrien. "But I can't say I've been sightseeing."
"Really? What do you want to see first?" Adrien fell into the ease of speaking with Kagami. Let himself enjoy this small moment of normalcy compared to the glorious disillusion of the akuma battle. Leaving Backwarder and Paris behind as the train accelerated.
----------------
Chat Noir soared over the rooftops. Grinning as the wind blew through his hair. For the first time in... he didn't know how long his heart raced with joy after a battle. He was useful! Sure he had to sacrifice himself so Ladybug could beat Gamer 2.0 but still!
Landing with a flip onto the designated rooftop he waited for Master Fu to show. Just like he did after (almost) every akuma attack. Except this time Chat Noir wasn't dreading it. This time-
The door opened as Master Fu stepped out.
"Master! Did you see... What's wrong?"
Master Fu held a stern expression. "Why did you not talk to Ladybug about what you intended?"
Chat's ears drooped as he pulled in on himself, enthusiasm forgotten. "Wh-what?"
"You sacrificed yourself without speaking to her first!" Master Fu sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. "Ladybug might have come up with an alternative."
"But... I..."
"At the very least you should have let her know before you act."
You didn't tell her that when she shoved me onto Backwarder's sword.
Adrien flinched. "... Okay... I'll... tell her next time."
Even though she never tells me.
Satisfied, Master Fu's gaze softened. "You must be mindful of Ladybug's feelings." With that he turned back towards the door. Pausing at the threshold, he glanced back. "It was wise to give Ladybug the last fight."
"..."
Chat Noir dashed across rooftops. Blinking rapidly as the wind blew into his eyes. For a moment he forgot. He forgot that Chat Noir was always wrong. That Adrien didn't get what everyone else did. He wasn't like everyone else. What they did mattered.
... Nothing Adrien ever did mattered. The universe was simply issuing a reminder.
---------------
Adrien didn't want to be at fencing practice today. He'd fantasized about taking Kagami to Kitty Section's rehearsal with the rest of his friends instead... But if his meetings with the Guardian had a theme it was listening to his... betters.
As though the universe could hear him the akuma alert went off just as he finished changing into his fencing gear. Making sure the rest of his teammates were gone, Adrien transformed and leapt out the window. Hoping Kagami wouldn't be too bored without him.
Quickly going over what information there was on 'Desperada' Chat Noir realized she was last seen at the Couffaine's houseboat. He ran faster.
A pang of longing came over him as Adrien remembered how tempting it'd been to skip practice and join his friends. But that meant disobeying. And disobeying never brought Adrien anything. Not with Father, not with his teachers, not with the Guardian.
Leaping across buildings a cyan blur knocked him five stories to the ground. Rolling with the blow Chat Noir readied his staff. The cyan blur was a lyre that came back to the hand that threw it.
A guy in a vaguely snake-like suit with cyan colored hair. "Sorry, Chat Noir. You would've gotten caught if I hadn't done anything."
To prove his point Desperada appeared and started shooting yellow blasts of magic. Chat Noir spun his staff as he ran for cover. Ladybug's yo-yo wrapped around him and pulled him into the alley. "Good, you're here. Chat, this is Viperion."
"Hello again, Chat Noir." Viperion smiled gently.
"... Hey."
"So what's the plan?" Ladybug asked the new guy.
Chat Noir stared. Ladybug never asked someone else to make the plan.
"Okay, first we need your Lucky Charm..."
In the end it was very simple. Chat Noir and Ladybug dodged Desperada's attacks long enough for Viperion to distract her with music from his lyre. Then Ladybug used the saddle her Lucky Charm gave her to restrict Desperada's movements. All three pulling the villain in different directions while Viperion threw his lyre at her guitar case, breaking it.
There was an extra 'Bien Joue' in their fist bump and then Chat Noir was running back to fencing practice.
...He'd done nothing. Viperion did all the work. And apparently he was so good at it he didn't even need to use his power. Or... was knowing what was going to happen his ability? Is that why Ladybug let him plan?
...Maybe he was reading too much into it. 'Bien joue' felt hollow all the time now. Just because it felt particularly empty this time didn't mean there was a reason besides his own selfish desire to be useful.
Back inside the locker room Adrien detransformed.
The door banged open. Adrien flinched.
"What is the meaning of this transgression, Agreste!?" M. D'Argencourt demanded.
Heart pounding, Adrien fumbled over his words. "I-I can explain!"
"I should hope so! I will have to inform M. Agreste of this behavior." M. D'Argencourt informed him.
Blood drained from Adrien's face. "NO! Please M. D'Argencourt, don't tell Father!"
Eyes softening, M. D'Argencourt shook his head. "I am sorry, Adrien. A student disappearing under my guard and I knowing not where he vanished to? I cannot overlook this."
Cold. Adrien was cold and his mouth moved without words. He collapsed onto the bench behind him. Heart hammering in his ears as he imagined what Gabriel would do...
---------------
Startrain rocketed into space, Nadja Chamack reporting over the image of the akumatized train. For a moment Adrien merely stood there...
"Hey, kid." Plagg pointed at the container of transformation cheese. "We gotta go help."
"R-right!" Coming out of his head Adrien tossed the purple, potion-infused cheese into the air. "Plagg, powerup!"
Swallowing it in a single bite Plagg glowed as the potion took effect. "Astro Plagg!" Small, glowing wings appeared on his back and his fur was coated with small star-like points.
Opening his mouth to say the phrase Adrien... His throat closed... the words wouldn't come... They wouldn't-
Plagg placed a paw on Adrien's cheek. "C'mon kid, your friends need us."
Friends. His friends were on that train! Finding his voice Adrien set his shoulders. "Astro Plagg, transforme-moi!"
Flying was unlike anything he ever experienced. And Astro Chat was flying faster than anyone had ever gone! Sky darkening as he rose above the atmosphere. Startrain had a head start he needed-
Sunlight lit up the Earth, cloud cover obscuring far more of its surface than was usually shown in photos. It was so blue... so beautiful. Adrien remembered what astronauts said about looking at the Earth from above.
He'd heard. But he hadn't known.
Turning back towards the void Astro Chat zoomed after Startrain. It was already past the moon. The moon which Adrien saw as only a handful of people ever did.
There!
Startrain was slowing down? That made it easier to catch up! Astro Chat's heart raced with excitement, willing his wings to go faster. He was almost there! Just a little more and-
A great, glowing, green portal burst to life directly in Startrain's path. Chat caught a glimpse of Big Ben on the other side and then the train sped through. Portal closing behind it.
Leaving Adrien in the void. Of course. Of course Ladybug already beat the akuma. And if that portal was any indication she had help. He wasn't needed. Wasn't necessary.
His friends were on that train and he couldn't. Do! ANYTHING! He couldn't breathe. Couldn't breathe! Everything was too big and too small! Infinity stretched forever in all directions and he was stuck inside this helmet! He wanted out! Wanted-
No. Focus.
As suddenly as his breath left him it came back. Adrien gasped and forced himself to breathe slowly... He couldn't stay here. There was nothing here.
Slowly, reluctantly, Adrien made his way back to Earth. Oh. Oh. He'd gone farther than he thought. Earth was a speck in the distance.
"A mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam."
Tiny. Insignificant. Precious. An oasis in a desert. The closer you are to something the uglier it looks. Adrien kicked the thought away. It was small and meaningless. If you looked too closely at anything you failed to see the whole picture.
Adrien wondered what the whole of his picture, his world, looked like...

Okay, I will sort after Pokémon Generations and not Stray Kids age in this one because it feels weird to start with gen 6 for example and then change to Gen 4 xD
Also I’ll insert pictures of the starter Pokémon and their evolutions, since they are a big part of every game, but that’s it. But I'll do that in the next ask fjdjdj it won't let me add pictures here. Sometimes I might add a picture of something else as well. It’s not based on anything, it’s just the vibes I get. And I’ll sort from both, Generation and Region. Sometimes they remake an older Game in a Generation, so if this is something that influences my choice, I’ll talk about that too, but it’s mostly about the Region itself.
4 of those were pretty easy to choose while the other 4 weren’t that difficult to choose, but kinda hard to explain. I hope it’s still understandable. Also I’ll talk about the starters with their name. The fire starter will have a red name, water blue and grass green. Most of the time that’s also the color of the Pokémon as well, but if not, they have something else to them that makes it obvious if they are fire, water or grass type.
Anyways, here I go:
Chan as Kanto//Gen 1
Now obviously Chan gets the OG. The one game everything started with. The region the company adores the most.
Okay well, I didn’t choose Chan as Kanto for being the first Region, but rather because of the vibes. Just like any other Anime, Pokémon has a new Intro for every new season and the one Chan sang/listened to was the first one both times! Sure, this doesn’t say much since it’s also the most well known and probably best intro (Just saying, I like Johto, Unbeatable, I want to be a hero and the XYZ remake as well lol), but still. My other reason are the starters!
There are several pictures of Chan with anything Squirtle related. One of them even used to be my wallpaper. But Charmander as well. I’ve seen many people compare him to Charmander. Charmander who is that one Pokémon (besides Pikachu ofc) that everyone knows. Or at least his evolution Charizard. Charizard is also the Pokémon the company loves the most and in the Anime, Charizard often did his own thing, ignoring what his “Boss” told him to do. He would just casually fight back. Besides that, remember the Pokémon I showed you yesterday? Dragonite? Well, Dragonite and Charizard have the same color scheme, so that fits as well.
But now we’ll come to the rather bad things about it. So trigger warning; the hate Chan gets. Kanto being the start of everything makes Pokémon fans love and respect the region, even though it’s not their favourite. At least that’s what you’d think. Kanto is one of the most controversial regions. There are people saying everything but Kanto is shit and there are others, saying Kanto is shit for not being as balanced as newer games and for having many glitches. With Chan it’s kinda similar. Chan gets lots of hate, despite him being a great person and the one who basically created Stray Kids. But still, he gets hate simply for not being perfect, which he can’t be. I could definitely go deep here, but this is not what this is about, so I’ll move on to the next Generation now.
Seungmin as Johto//Gen 2
This one is a bit harder to explain, but it’s just the vibes I get. Seungmin reminds me a lot of end of spring/start of summer and I get the same vibes from Johto! Chikorita and its evolution line alone remind me of Seungmin. Its without a doubt thee weakest starter, not just in Johto, but overall. I chose it anyways, because it looks freaking adorable. And I was surprised. This Chikorita was the MVP of many fights, even though it should have been way weaker since it had a type disadvantage.
Johto has always been a kinda relaxing place for me. I don’t really know why, but just the whole vibe I get from Johto is relaxing. I didn’t play the original games and only half of the remakes, but I watched the anime and I remember falling in love with it. Especially with the theme song. It helped me through some rough times in my childhood, just like my brother did and Seungmin reminds me a lot of my brother.
Also, the box art legends of the game (Lugia and Ho-Oh) remind me of Seungmin because of their lore. Lugia lives underwater since it doesn’t want to disturb anyone by flapping its wings since it’s said that even if it only flaps with them one time, there will be a storm for 40 days. Ho-Oh on the other hand is a Phoenix that will only appear in front of people with a pure heart and show them its wings which will make them lucky. I honestly don’t know why, but both of these stories remind me of Seungmin. But as I said, this one was a bit harder to explain since it’s just the vibes I got.
Felix as Hoenn//Gen 3
Before I start, I love the Hoenn Games xD
Well, anyways. This one was pretty easy to choose and this is where remakes get important. Because in Generation 3, the Kanto Games were remade, which gives us a connection between Chan and Felix. But Hoenn Games were remade as well, in Generation 6, which was the Gen that REALLY got me into Pokémon. Just like Felix alongside with another member got me into Stray Kids. But of course that’s not the only reason.
Felix is that one member that gets so many people into Stray Kids with his deep voice and his visuals and just everything. And just like Felix is many peoples entrance to Stray Kids, Hoenn was the first game of many Pokémon fans. Also, Hoenn is well-known for its iconic music, just like Felix is well-known for his iconic voice. And this might be a bit of a stretch, but Hoenn games are the only games where you can dive. And first of all, being deep under the sea looks so good. But also, deep under the water? Deep voice? You get it.
I also like to think that Felix doesn’t get as much Hate. I know he still gets Hate, but luckily from what I’ve seen not as much. The same is true for Hoenn Games. There’s only one thing people don’t like, which is the amount of water in the games. But other than that, Hoenn Games are loved in the Pokémon Community, which means a lot, because the Pokémon Community is never satisfied.
I used to play the Hoenn Remakes a lot with my friends. Just like I talk a lot about Felix with my friends.
Also I might be wrong but I think Gen 3 was when people really started playing Pokémon competitively and I mean, Felix is a competitive gamer.
Hyunjin as Sinnoh//Gen 4
Ever since 2014/2015, people wanted Sinnoh back in forms of Remakes. Just like we want Hyunjin back right now. And we’ll get them. They were announced a bit earlier this year and not just once, but twice! We’ll get one of them at the end of this year and the second one in the beginning of next year.
But before I say anything else, Furret.
While it isn’t a Gen 4 Pokémon, it’s treated like one. There is a meme about the Furret walking animation until we get the remakes xD
And I don’t think I’ll have to say that a Pokémon called Furret is based on a Ferret? And that it’s fluffy and everyone wants to hug it? Okay, sorry. But despite being a Ferret, it’s also a surprisingly big Pokémon. Whenever people talk about unexpected Pokémon sizes, Furret comes up. It’s not amongst the biggest Pokémon, but it’s still hella big and I want a life-sized plush of it. Aaand I just checked, it’s roughly the size of Hyunjin lmao.
Why am I still talking about Furret? Well, the other reason why I think it fits Hyunjin is the lore! Gen 4 might be the Generation with the most lore we ever got. We were introduced into the God of Pokémon, Arceus (and before someone says he’s a bad God for being able to be caught by a 10 year old, you can’t catch him if you don’t cheat.) and the creation trio. We got to know how the Pokémon world was created, how every life was created and so on. And Hyunjin is life. Okay, I’m sorry, I’ll try to be more serious again. We also got 3 mythical Pokémon, with great myths behind them. We have the nightmare Pokémon Darkrai, which isn’t a bad guy at all. He looks like one in the spin off games, but he isn’t. He stays away from people since he can’t control his power and doesn’t want to cause people to be trapped in nightmares (some pokémon lore is really dark), which reminds me of Hyunjin who stays away a bit to not hurt anyone. Then we have Cresselia, who is the opposite of Darkrai. She makes people dream great things and is the only one to be able to save others from Darkrais Nightmares. And my best dreams feature Hyunjin. And last but not least we have Shaymin, a big Cutie and the thankful Pokémon. I’m Hyunjin very thankful and he’s thankful for Stays as well.
Also, the whole generation just feels very cozy and it’s another fan favorite.
Changbin as Unova//Gen 5
Easy choice. First of all, the games are called “Black and White” and I mean, Changbin and black? Perfect mix. Next is the fire Starter, Tepig! It’s a pig and it evolves into an even bigger wrestler pig and is therefore bulky. Also funfact, Black was my first game ever! Or more like, the game of my brother. But he let me play it and my first Pokémon ever was a Tepig I gave the name of my old cat!
Now, while it was my first Pokémon game ever, I never really played it. I mean, I played about half of it maybe? When I was a kid, but I didn’t pay attention to the story. And afterwards I only tried once playing it again, but I didn’t know where I have to go, so I stopped again quickly. And right now I just don’t feel like playing it.
However, when people now talk about the game now, they talk about it in a kinda dark way, just like people see Changbin as an intimidating person. But I remember some of the most soft and cute parts ever. Just dressing up my team and have them dance for me. Great.
And while Changbin wasn’t the one to introduce me into Stray Kids, he was the one that I felt connected to while I took a break from them. So just like I never really played Pokémon Black but always felt a close connection to it, Changbin never was my Bias nor Bias Wrecker, but I felt that connection.
Besides, the game is about ideals. We have those who follow their dreams and would do anything to pursue them and we have those who cling to the reality and give their best to make it even better. Kinda reminds me of Changbin.
Jeongin as Kalos//Gen 6
Before I say anything else, look at Fennekin who is based on a Fennec Fox. Very underrated. People hate it for the design of its evolution, but I think it’s pretty well-made. Also, competitively seen is Fennekin the best starter to choose from.
Now, Kalos is my baby. I always loved the region. It’s the game that got me into Pokémon, just like Jeongin got me into Stray Kids.
The problem people have with Gen 6 is the story, which I agree, is an important part. They scrapped a lot and left us with a big amount of unsolved mysteries. Maybe the most mysteries out of all games. However, I can excuse that. The lore we got is quite interesting and most people agree that it could have been the best story ever, based on the lore we got. Kalos was their first step into something brand new and the little things were done well. Just that one big part didn’t go well at all. It’s a small region, with not much to it and when I was new in the skz fandom, Jeongin didn’t have much either.
Also, Kalos is a beauty and cuteness based region and let’s be real here, Jeongin is a big cutie. And (it gets corny, be prepared) in Kalos they introduced Mega Evolution, which is an Evolution you can only use if you have a strong bond with your Pokémon.
Minho as Alola//Gen 7
Honestly, this was a harder one again. But I chose him for 1. Litten, the fire cat starter and 2. Because it’s a tropical region and I can see Minho laying on the beach with his sunglasses xD
The concept of this game is different. Something they haven’t done before. And while everyone in Stray Kids is different, I dare to say that Minho has something extra extra to himself.
And yea, that’s it tbh. I’m not the biggest Alola fan. It was fun and I would like to play the game again some time, but I prefer the other games by a lot.
Jisung as Galar//Gen 8
So first of all, we have 2 Pokémon lines that are based on music. Grookey being a drummer and Galarian Zigzagoon being based on the band Kiss. And Jisung is one of the Members who is a bit more connected to music in my opinion. Then, every Region had their own regional Rodent and Galar has a Squirrel! Not a Quokka sadly but look at its cheeks. Very cute.
Galar is based on the UK, where a friend of mine lives. I wanted to go there since I was like 7, but I never got to, which is why walking through the Pokémon version of the UK hit pretty close. Also, said friend reminds me a lot about Jisung. I can’t really describe why, I just think their personalities match.
That’s not much, but I honestly don’t know what else to say. These are my reasons xD
Oh wait, of course. Galar is the game that features some more of the memes in the fandom than the other games. It sometimes seems like the company doesn’t really look into the fandom since we don’t get much beta content and stuff, but them bringing the insiders in some of their games like they did in Galar shows us that they still listen! And I mean, Jisung is pretty funny, yk?
Okay yea, that’s about it. I hope that was understandable and made sense for you. Also I still wanna show you my Pokémon Plushies, but I can’t find some of them right now;-;

mhmm it made sense for me even tho i don't fully understand everything... you know what i mean? it's like- quite complicated but the way you describe everything is really logical!
