Episode 2 thoughts!!!!!

This post is long and i'm sorry if you will get to read it. The thoughts are chaotic but i needed to write them down.

First part: Nora.

Watching her bonding with her future friends was so interesting. I love how she has different dynamic with each one of them.

I like her sticker interaction with Parkour Guy and how she seem to like it a lot. She talked to Ava about it with this smile, the same smile i have when i talk about @druck-experience-bot to my friends lol

I won't say that the roof clip is my favorite in this episode, but i liked it a lot. We can see how anxious and worried she is about her mother in the first part of clip. We also learn that she tries to "control" her mom, checking her all the time. And then, the second part of the clip is the roof. She is alone there and the view is beautiful and Nora allows herself to forget about her problems for a moment and enjoy. I'm really glad she has this special place where she can do it! I wish i had such place too.

In this episode druck probably set up some Nora-Zoe conflict. In Kiki clip Nora was upset that Zoe knew that Kiki leaves, and Zoe was jealous that Kiki gave her bracelet to Nora. Then Kiki asked Zoe to come home more often and help Nora and Zoe was clearly against it. In the last clip Nora called out Zoe's friends (and Zoe herself), clearly pointed, that she has new friends now, and then stole "their" money. I wonder what is gonna be next, but we already can see that sister's do not hold for each other anymore.

Second part: everything else.

Interesting, that so far only one chat out of 23 was not from Nora's pov (Zoe-Kiki one). Another interesting fact, that they have one (out of 23) instagram chat, does it mean they're experimenting like they did in season 1 or they're gonna be consistent and we will get more chats in other messengers? Maybe Parkour Guy is gonna find her on insta and write her there?

I love the amount of instagram content. And thanks god in e2 they do less stories reposts and at least add some captions to them. My prayers were heard and i'm happy.

Finn finally got to talk and he was asked to shut up right away?? is druck doing this on purpose? did they think that would be funny? lkacjlkadck i need to admit though, that so far he is the most likeable from all the gang because he is literally just... there.

In the last clip Constantmood finally changed Hurt Bitch Face to something more relaxed and i take it as a progress (but there is always a possibility he was just drunk lol)

The fact that Mailin is a Save Environment person (our new Jonas) and has Leonie's last name is so nice of druck, that can be random but i prefer to think it is a reference to og characters and you can't convince me otherwise

Since Kiki and Carlos are moving to Trier, I'm expecting Kirlos goodbye party which Nora organises for them, please.

AVA reminds me of Amira so much??? It is in the way she talk, the same intonations?? Also did you see this the biggest smile, it was also so Amira? Or maybe i just miss Amira so much. Anyway, i like Ava a lot, she seems to be smart and interesting character (and she is already treated better than Sam lol)

okay so imagine: the trapped in the tv ep but with only british tv shows - if ur not british i'm sorry!! hopefully this will still be funny for you lol

No one was fazed as the classical music rang out overhead, and Nate and Mick waited patiently for it to finish. The pair were stood next to a low table, set on lush green grass and under a backdrop of a clear blue sky and a large country house, with people milling around and chatting, just quietly enough not to be heard over the music.

The logo flashed faintly in the sky, and Nate coughed, adjusting his glasses slightly.

"Well, here we have a lovely piece - a mantle clock, looks to be 17th Century, possibly Russian," He started, tipping the clock back slightly to get a better look at it. "Can you tell me a little more about how you came to have it?"

"It stole it." Mick shrugged. "It looked expensive."

"And you'd be correct." Nate said, waggling his finger to emphasize his point. "Made by an early pioneer of this type of time-keeping, Rip Hunter, the craftsmanship is just - exquisite, and there's not even - oh, there's a small dent here."

"Probably from when I hit Rasputin over the head with it." Mick said, and Nate nodded sagely.

"Well, even with that, it's extremely valuable - you don't see many of these pieces, I'm very honoured to be evaluating it. What do you think it's worth?"

"From the age and quality, I'd want a couple million." Mick grunted.

"And what would you use the money for?" Nate asked, and Mick shrugged again.

"Put Lita through college. Some for the Legends, buy more condiments."

"That sounds fantastic. Well -" Nate started, then paused for an unnaturally long time. Everyone held their breath. "I think, at auction, it could fetch up to £3 million."

Behind them, the Legends cheered, Ava punching the air. Mick nodded, then picked up the clock in his gloved hand wand walked off, swinging it as he did so.

The music faded out, and Sara shut the book she was reading, smiling widely. The nursery she was in was quiet, the children having not yet arrived for the day. "I didn't see you there! I'm Sara - what's your name?" She said, voice bright and bubbly.

There was silence for a few seconds, and Sara nodded, despite no one replying.

"Ah, of course. I'm so glad you're here - I need your help." She stood up, eyes wide. "There's a giant octopus named Tagumo terrorizing the village - and we need a special treat for the bake sale! But who should we ask for help?" She scratched her head in an exaggerated thinking motion, then stood up and walked backwards to the large, colourful map that hung on the nursery wall.

"We could ask - Ava the Bureaucrat?" She asked, pointing at a point on the map.

Ava popped up on screen, dressed in her suit and surrounded by stacks and stacks of papers, threatening to topple at any moment. She gave an exaggerated shrug.

"No, she's too busy. Maybe Nate the Historian?" Sara said in a sing-song voice.

At the top of a pink castle, a hand was waving.

"No, he's stuck at the top of his castle. Maybe Zari, the Cat Chat celebrity?"

Zari was on her phone but started to wave as the camera zoomed in on her.

"Yes, that's it! We'll ask Zari, the Cat Chat celebrity!" Sara said, smiling widely. "Come on, let's go to Zari's house!"

Sara walked through the quiet streets of Waverider, avoiding the large chunks of stone that were being thrown her way by an angry octopus. It was a sleepy seaside town, with brightly coloured buildings and extremely predictable weather, and she loved it. She stopped in front of the yellow house and knocked on the door.

"No! It's mine!" "It's mine!" came the muffled voices from inside.

"Oh no! I think Zari's having an argument with her brother Behrad." Sara said, eyes wide. "Let’s see if we can help."

She opened the door, where Zari and Behrad were having a tug of war with a small bracelet. Sara stood, hands on hips, with an exaggerated frown.

"Z! B! What's this?"

"It's my turn with the totem!" Behrad whined, and Zari stomped her foot.

"No, dummy, it's mine! You used it to beat Genghis Khan last week!"

"Did you two forget our last lesson, when we learnt about sharing?" Sara said, and the two broke apart, looking distinctly guilty.

“No, Miss Lance.” They said in unison.

“Good.” Sara said, smiling brightly. “How about – Zari, you use the family heirloom to capture the giant octopus, whilst Behrad and I make a treat for the bake sale!”

The pair brightened up. “Sounds great! We can make a Behrad brownie!” Behrad said brightly, moving towards the kitchen, when Sara put out her arm to stop him.

“Uh oh, did you forget something?”

Behrad struck his palm on his forehead with an exaggerated sigh.

“Whoops! Here you go, sis.” He said, passing the totem over. “I’m sorry I wasn’t sharing nicely.”

Zari shrugged, slipping the bracelet on. “I’m sorry too.” She said, and the pair hugged. When they broke apart, Zari blinked.

“Wait -”

The tannoy overhead started to play classical music, overlaid with the booming voice of an announcer. "DC's University Challenge! With your host - Raymond Palmer!"

The lights went up on the studio and Ray sat at a desk, smiling widely at the audience, shuffling his cards.

"Good evening and welcome to DC's University Challenge!” He said, barely being heard over the sounds of the audience clapping politely. He waited until they’d started to quiet down before beginning again. “Our first team tonight is the Time Bureau, a secret government organisation that has produced several bureaucrats, a multi-million-dollar magical creature theme park and around a dozen clones. The organisation has just under 1,000 employees and ranks number two in the inter-governmental department softball league. Their team tonight includes -"

"Hey! I'm Mona Wu, and I'm reading creature care and getting in touch with my wild side!" Mona said, waving and smiling brightly.

Gary coughed. "Uh - Hello - I'm Gary Green, and I'm studying as an apprentice of the dark arts under John Constantine."

"I'm Nate Heywood, and I'm doing a second PhD deductive historical reasoning and turning into steel." Nate said, giving the camera a mock salute.

"And finally, their Captain -"

"I'm Ava Sharpe, from 2213, and I'm reading how to move on from clone based psychological trauma." Ava said, nodding with a tight-lipped smile. She looked at her team – they looked good, all dressed in the Bureau suits. She hoped it would be enough to beat their opponents.

After the clapping ended, Ray gestured to the other side of the studio. "Our second team tonight are the Legends, founded in 2016 by Rip Hunter. Although seen as the underdogs, they won a comfortable victory against the Legion of Doom in the first round, answering questions on the French Revolution, punk rock and African oral history. With a combined age that's impossible to calculate, lets meet the team."

"Hey, I'm Behrad Tarazi, and I'm studying the air totem - but if my parents are watching, I'm studying .... business." Behrad said awkwardly, fiddling with the bracelet around his wrist.

"Hi, I'm Charlie, I'm from before the concept of time, and I'm reading loom weaving - and also shape-shifting." Charlie said, waving to the audience and adjusting the Beebo mascot they had placed behind their team name.

"I'm Mick." Mick grunted. There were a few seconds of silence before Ray spoke again.

"And their Captain -"

"Hey, I'm Sara Lance from Star City. I did two tours with the League of Assassins and now I'm reading kicking ass across the time stream." Sara said, pointing her finger guns towards Ava and winking, which caused the opposing captain to blush.

Ray set the cards down. "Right, well, we all know the rules, so I'll just get started. Your starter for 10 is - in the novels of Rebecca Silver, how many breasts does the alien queen Garima have?"

Mick was on the buzzer, but Mona was quicker. "Three!" She answered excitedly.

"I'm sorry, in the most recent novel, Death of a Rogue, she is revealed to have a secret fourth breast. Another starter for ten - the 1995 film Swamp Thaaang, written and directed by Greg Berlanti, was based on the memiors of what creature?"

John slapped the buzzer decisively. “Swamp Thing.”

Ray nodded and the crowd went wild. “Correct. Your questions will be on marine life. How many penis’ does a shark have?”

The team formed a little huddle, and Behrad shrugged.

“Anyone got any -” Sara started, but John cut in.

"Two." John said.

“Are you sure?” Sara asked, and John nodded, wincing slightly.

“Welcome back to – Top of the Pops!”

The lights came up on the little podium where Astra was standing, holding the slim microphone between her fingers, and she smiled widely.

"So, your top five this week is Doctor Mid-Nite with ‘Year 3000’ at number 5, Ava and the Clones with ‘The One and Only’ at number 4, Rip Hunter and Wally West with ‘Careless Whisper,’ entering the charts at number 3, and that was the JSA, staying strong at number 2 with ‘Kids in America.’ But, coming in hot at number 1, with their new hit ‘American Idiot’, it's the Legends of Tomorrow!"

Astra swept her hand towards the stage, where the lights came up to rapturous cheers from the audience.

"We are the Legends of Tomorrow - and we're here to change your destiny!" Charlie shouted into the mic, just as Mick started up on drums. Nate’s hands hovered over his bass guitar, looking over to Sara, who winked at him as the chords of her electric guitar rang out over the cheering audience.

hi hi hiii. finally back home from berlin, caught a few zzz’s, still sleep deprived, but i’d do it again in a heartbeat!

i‘m gonna ~try to do bullet points here, but you know me... probably not gonna happen. sorry, you have to deal with my longwinded ramblings now, i‘m posting this mostly to remember it all for myself.

let me preface this with a quick disclaimer, these kind of events are usually not really for me, too awkward, too cringy, i’m shy as fuck and socially incompetent in general... but druck has had such an impact on my life, it was a no-brainer for me to go.

biggest shoutout to @lapalooz (with no access to her real tumblr, get on that!) for making the waiting time not only bearable but enjoyable with her engaging presence! aaand i’m pretty sure i wouldn‘t have made it to the meet&greet (aka hi&cry) if i didn‘t have the amazing @matteounterdruck by my side. thank you tina, so much!!! you really kept my spirits high and taught me how to release nervous energy through dancing! lmao ❤️❤️❤️

okay. let’s start at the beginning. the exhibition of and appreciation for all the fanart was one of my favourite things when we walked into that location. druck really said this show is as much about YOU as it is about US and just how lovely is that???

the q&a wasn‘t as bad as it could‘ve been... i just wish it would have been a bit longer though! they seemingly were prepared for the ‚why did amira‘s season end after 7 eps‘ question, but tua being honest and saying fuck yes, i wanted 10 eps for her too... iconic.

surprise surprise, the two people i truly didn‘t expect to be there were milena and michi. and then they were! and they were whispering to each other a lot <3 and michi was the most adorable awkward person to ever exist. you can tell he really is such a shy and private person, and i think seeing that spelled out right in front of us like this made it all the more special that he showed up at all! the things he ~did say were really witty and charming though, so there‘s that. 💕

the bloopers were so good, it was moving to see how much fun they had on set and that their friendships aren’t contrived in the slightest! all i kept thinking was “i can‘t wait to reblog the gifs of that to my tumblr“ haha. SO WHERE‘S THE VIDEO @DRUCK?!

for someone who went in there expecting to have a complete breakdown i was actually okay...ish when we watched the ep (i was so relieved to finally see amira again!) and david‘s film... until the cast went up on stage during anselm‘s second song and mile was stood there, tears streaming down her face, leaning on lukas for comfort. oi, that broke me. :(

quick shoutout to the person behind me who was crying in the club as they say, no, actually it was full on SOBBING. in my mind i just kept going ~SAME~. and, you know, anselm‘s songs didn‘t help the cause either... what a mess.

now on to the meet&greet. if you’re not interested in the people behind druck, or you think meeting them in person is weird or whatever - then this part is not for you and you’ll want to x out of here right now, please spare me the comments, i‘ve already had enough negativity in this fandom for years to come, whew.

i‘ll put this under a cut, just to be extra sure.

you know, i‘ve grown so attached to these characters over the last 1.5 years and it was a once in a lifetime opportunity to say thanks to the actresses/actors who made them come to life. for real though, i think really looking them in the eyes and saying THANK YOU was the best thing about the whole experience for me.

this‘ll be chaotic, i’m just gonna list everything i remember off the top of my head, please bear with me.

first of all: best. cast. ever! every single one of them was lovely in their own way... some of them are really high energy people (keep in mind we went in reallllly late, they had been doing this for hours at that point!)... think anselm, tua and mile. they just carried everyone else with their energy!

anselm was as warm and welcoming as i expected, yet it still surprised me how confidently he handled the whole situation (unlike me rip)... i literally blurted out “you‘re such a good host!“ to him and he sounded really flattered when thanking me. he just has the best vibes <3

naomi... oh my god. i was really shocked to even see her at all which was only right before it was our turn with her group. she made a little sarcastic remark about how she “can‘t wait to be tagged in alllll the pictures“ lmao. just leave it up to her to make me fall in love in real life too. :(

i don‘t know if they did it in all of their pictures, but her and hassan were hugging it out in the background of ours like the laura/mohammed crackship that they are. loved that! lmao

speaking of hassan though, i only had the BRIEFEST interaction with him bc how does one cope with all that beauty up close?! one doesn‘t, that‘s how. damn.

i lovelovelove that they kept the five girls together for the photo op, now the pictures ended up looking like we‘re part of their squad!

tua was the life of the party, she made the whole room dance and sing along when ‘geiles leben’ came on (that was when most people had left already bc we went in so late)... it was such a special moment!!! she was also really confused whether to speak german or english to us, bilingual queen!

lea gives the BEST hugs that was so unexpected for such a tiny person, she REALLY goes in wow.

jobel... all i remember is that my face was literally buried in her hair while we were hugging and she smelled amazing!

and lilly omg... lilly! my favourite bean, so easy to talk to, the best aura! she was kinda stretching her legs out when we got to her (l m a o) and kept thanking us for waiting so long (which... a few of them said that... and i always replied with a hä?! thank YOU for doing this for so long!) and rolled her eyes just at the thought of the aftershow party they had planned and told us she‘ll only drink water though! lmao

mile as i mentioned earlier was being so motivational, yelling “we‘re gonna do it! we‘re gonna get through all of you!“ in between again and again, probably more for herself than any of us haha. we did end up talking about food with her, which... you know. foodies amongst each other. ;)

found a whole new appreciation for louis... who poured so much of himself into carlos oh my god. chill. quick witted. hilarious!

so now i left lukas for last. as i briefly mentioned before, i didn’t go up to him after romeo&juliet, but this time i did (there really was no other option when you were there, that would‘ve been rude lol) and i wasn’t let down. at all. he was one of the few people who actually properly introduced himself and that is SO nice, one of the things i’ve always loved about people who are in that kinda position, you know? he is just the sweetest sweetheart, we all know it, he’s proven it over and over. he ran across the room bc some fans forgot their photos at their table, that’s how considerate he is. while we were waiting for our pics to be printed, he came over and hugged us AGAIN and made it a point to say goodbye. MY HEART. 💕

oh, also... we noticed that the mile/flo/louis/lukas group was the most organised with the whole picture situation... they had a ~system going y‘all. lmao

okay. i think this might be it for now. OOF. if anyone actually read all that... you deserve a cookie. i know i promised coherent thoughts, but this is. what you’re gonna get. oops?

1. Chazz and Remus Lupin!

The internet wasn’t giving me any information on the character of Chazz, and I couldn’t get Tumblr to let me word-search him on your blog, so I don’t have much information to go on here unfortunately since I’m not familiar with the Chronicles of Vladimir Tod! I’d love to learn more though; and Remus, while shy and introverted in general, has a lot of love to give, so I’m sure there would be some sort of shot in some sort of universe where a ship could work out! Also he’s a werewolf so I’m sure that would have some sort of fascinating interaction lol.

2. Richter Belmont and Mercury Moors!

This one was fun to think about, because from what the internet tells me, Richter is a vampire killer! Mercury... well, Mercury is a changeling, and some of the people closest and dearest to his heart are magical/paranormal beings, some of whom are vampires. I think Mercury, depending on the verse, would ultimately be wary of Richter. He’s also a hopeless romantic, so he does often fall into the trap of ‘this person may be dangerous to my loved ones, but i know i can change them’ beliefs, so that doesn’t necessarily mean he wouldn’t pursue Richter. I think this has a lot of potential!

3. Jonathan Harker and Lincoln Burrows!

This one was interesting! I gave a bit of info on Mercury since he was an OC, but not on Remus because he’s a pretty well known character. However, I don’t have bios up yet and Lincoln is from a show not many people know so: the gist of Linc is that he’s a very troubled individual - he has a deep devotion to his family, but often falls off the wagon due to his struggles with addiction and the like. When we first meet him he’s on Death Row for a murder he didn’t commit and his brother is planning to break him out. I think it would be fun to see how he interacts with Jonathan, since it seems Jonathan is very family-oriented as well - most of what I remember of him is what I know of him and his wife and son, so I’m sorry if I’m off the mark haha. I think he and Linc would have a lot to talk about.

4. Knox Harrington and Rani MacKenna!

This is another one I think would be so cute. So, a bit of info on Rani; she’s an immigrant to London from Egypt, and is a member of a branch of the NOVIS organisation - a group dedicated to research and rehabilitation of all things bizarre, paranormal, and extraterrestrial. But she loves a good party, and a friendly face, so since the WIki says Knox is a rather charming and enthusiastic person, and the fact that he’s a ghoul apparently, is a surefire way to capture Rani’s attention!

5. Azazel and Soren Melnuos!

This was a fun one to look at, haha. So, just going off their personal beliefs, I don’t think Soren would get alone with Azazel very well. In his source book, When The Sun Sings, Soren is 15, first of all, and second of all very much a chaotic good character with a pretty strict moral compass that would probably cause him to butt heads with Azazel far more than they agreed on things. That said, Soren also has a dark mage verse where he’s a grown adult and decidedly less obsessed with right and wrong, and I think that could be fun to explore!

Hi! I just saw that you have some kind of 911 project going on like there were a lot of printed papers about it? 27 I think? I don't know?? Was just curious what that was about and in general how do you start the process and what does it consist of?

Sorry it took so long to answer, I haven’t really been around too much!

And yeah, I am currently writing a pretty extensive meta on Buddie and all the canon stuff that points toward them because someone asked for it and I am a people pleaser (also fun 😂🙈 it’s fun to write stuff like that for a nerd like me)

And puh, that is an interesting question and really depends on what I am writing / working on?

Like with asks, a lot of times you’ll just get my stream of conciousness thoughts, tbh, which is why a lot of times they are a mess and I forget about stuff and then someone adds on and I will be like: wait I already wrote that and then reread my stuff and be like: damn I meant to write that

Sometimes though a question will have me stumped at the beginning or I have too many thoughts (the Buckley parents aks comes to mind) and I will go do something else for a bit to figure out my thoughts

Also I may be a chaotic mess but I am an orderly chaotic mess so I always try to approach things in chronological order to make sure I don’t forget anything? Which is why my meta series “Intimacy, Sex and Buddie” (not sure if you read it) is organised episode by episode

So that is one main thing I do every time I write something, be it Meta, fanfic (well not so much here) or anything I need to write in real life: give everything a structure and organize my mind through that

I’m also a note taker, both because I will forget what I think / read the second I stop seeing it and also because I am a visual person and seeing things visually helps me figure out what goes together

Music also plays a role, I have some playlists (filled with 90s RnB and early 2000 emo music) that help me think a lot

Also showers, I have my best thoughts either while standing naked in my bathroom watching the steam fill the room or 5 minutes before falling asleep

And especially if I am stumped I will try and find associations like with my “Eddie and his violent ark” “meta”, like do I remember anything from Uni this reminds me off?

But now I nearly forgot about the most important step which is informing @chimbuckleys about my project or if it’s and ask tell her I got an ask, get excited for 5 min (or complain because I have no idea what to write) maybe screenshot it and send it to her, depending on the ask and sometimes also listening to her opinion on things (not that her opinion isn’t always awesome, it’s just that sometimes just telling her is enough to get my brain juices flowing and by the time she checks her messages I will already be like: lol your thoughts are great and way better then mine which I posted here)

(A moment of silence for that poor girl and all she has to endure with me, if you think ya’ll have to read a lot of shitposts, it’s nothing compared to what she gets!)

(Hey, Babe? Remember when I was rewatching the show and kept sending you messages beginning with: Wanna hear something hurtful?)

Also I rewatch scenes of the show at times, but like connected to what I already planned out, I don’t just randomly rewatch (except when I do)

Anyway that is my process and yes this has been stream of consciousness and sorry if it doesn’t make sense but I spent about 5h outside today and it’s 28°C and I am very white (so that really fried all my higher brain functions)

Your main takeaway from my process should be: find some way to organize your thoughts and get structure into what you are doing! 🙈🙈🙈
