I wish they'd release the blooper reel for the Sonic 2 movie. Knuckles couldn't stay in character everytime Jim Carrey was in costume so we had to redo sooo many shots!
On the one hand, I don't want the sequel to be too ambitious or too cluttered, on the other hand, I want sonic 2 to be right at two hours, or atleast longer than the first
Hmm... I can see what you mean by that, my friend.
I believe that if it were to be ambitious, as you describe, I think that it would be complete gloating over the success of the first one. We all saw how the Scoob movie turned out when they kept taunting the Sonic Movie back in 2020. Being cocky and riding on the fact that the first one was a success, in my opinion, wouldn’t really be Mr. Fowler’s style.
Though, I will absolutely agree—there’s a great difference between excitement and bragging rights. That I shall not ignore.
I don’t necessarily see a problem with there being “clutter” as it was expressed in the ask. Though, I will agree, it can go overboard if not planned accordingly. For the first movie, there were hundreds—I exaggerate here, I don’t actually know the exact count here😅—of hidden objects and homages to the Sonic Community. Some were fairly obvious, while others were small and a joy to see through the movie. I think that if the crew sticks to the same tactic as the first one, then we’re all good!
A two hour long movie? While that sounds wonderful, but my fear is that it will stay within a 1 h 30 to 1 h 40 window due to catering to a younger audience. I don’t mean to lower your hopes for that, it’s a great suggestion, I feel that it might be as long as the first one. However, I firmly believe that we will have bloopers and/or deleted scenes to look forward to that may end up adding to two hours as a whole.
Overall, I think that your opinions and hopes for the movie are valid. Thank you for sharing with me!😁❤️

Today we talk about creating great content that people will share, and take a slightly deeper dive into the topic by looking at WTF by Marc Maron.
When I reverse engineered the content I consumed, I noticed that no matter if its a book, magazine, TV show, or movie, whatever I'm consuming:
Made me laugh
Made me cry
Made me think
Made groan
Educated me
Entertained me.
