I have many thoughts and ideas a views. a daily thing of mine is noticing problems#and then fixing them in my head with thought out explanations and motives and outcomes#it’s like I’m talking to someone else. much like how I format my text posts. that’s how my inner monologue is#me talking to myself is actually me talking to someone else. someone that isn’t real#anyways it’s a daily occurrence. every day of my life is spent with thoughts similar to those breaking down a movie#lots of thoughts from adhd. compulsive thoughts from ocd. overwhelming thoughts from autism. distressing thoughts from bpd#ya. this isn’t a vent I just need to like. see the thoughts in writing so I can do smth else. like eat this muffin ive been staring at for#over an hour now <3 mmmbfbg yea muffins are hard to eat now cus I had some with mold and food mold especially is a big nono for me#spend like. five minutes examining the damn thing before I even consider taking a bite. I’m very hungry an thirsty </3#when your mouth is so dry you can taste your own mouth 👍 I’m experiencing#nothing in particular. just experiencing. I wouldn’t have it any other way. I like having an experience and living#drank my tea and I had like. hallucinations of like an alcohol prep pad. I’ve been using those in my ear cus. tmi. had a pimple that’s#causing problems so mom suggested that. it burned! which means it worked so word. I’ve noticed lately that both me AND my family have been#using ‘word’ a lot. dad says we’ve been saying it but no we haven’t. if we had I’d have BEEN saying it. maybe we’ve used it before for a bit#but now it’s back. idk. I’ve said it in class on more than one occasion lmao I don’t look like the type to say smth like that but whatever#it’s like when I used to say bro after every sentence like 10 years ago lol. we’re a family of parrots we repeat eachother a lot#I started saying I love you out of no where and they started doing it too. we whistle at eachother from across the house. sing ear worms#together. quote funny things at every opportunity and drive the joke into the ground. everyone in this house is a different kind of mentally#I’ll and it’s the most beautiful clash of personalities because we’re all so annoying and we love eachother so much and also our#communication is shit because some ppl have hearing loss and another is a short fused child and some are quick to interrupt and some dont#get a word in and some just can’t explain and some can’t understand. we get there eventually at some point. we don’t get the full grasp of#how much we love eachother yet. but we’re gettin there. anyways this went into several different directions but they’re all good ones#I think. if you read all this good on you! this is my brain 24/7/365 haha ok love you

a/n: hi! long time no see haha, uh, here’s smth i wrote a long while ago, this takes place in the original MW timeline NOT the reboots, but, yk, same guy haha

summary: You and Soap are stupidly pining, Task Force 141 knows and takes it into their own hands to convince you both to say something.
You couldn’t help yourself. Even if he was your superior, Soap had become more than just your captain. It was evident to the rest of Task Force 141, that they would see your eyes linger for just a moment too long at Soap’s hands when he’d hand you a gun.
What you didn’t know, however, is that they also noticed that he shared your lingering gazes, and heat-of-the-moment glances during a mission, making sure that you were still there, still alive. You were both clueless and the team decided that it would be up to them to knock any sense into either one of you, lest something stupid happens when it all becomes too much.
It all started when Roach pulled you aside when the two of you were off duty, you liked getting the opportunity to dress up, even when you were just going out to drink with The 141, your career was messy. You welcomed every opportunity to dress up, and so you wore a nice dress, nothing flashy, just your favorite. Roach shoots you a smile, sitting you down at the closest table.
“Think it’s just us tonight, Ghost and Soap just got back from another goose chase with Makarov, they might join us, might not.” You sigh, looking around the small bar, eyes darting for the door. “Soap is safe, no need to worry about him.” You clear your throat, wiping your hands on your dress, that reminder is enough for you. You look back at Roach, who offers you a wry grin, “So… the Captain?” You avert your gaze for just a second and then sigh.
“Nothing is going to come of it, so it doesn’t matter, Roach. Our job is to get Makarov and we are going to do our job. Anything else just… Well, it doesn’t matter.” He scoffs, rolling his eyes at you. “You’re blind, the both of you. I mean, that man checks to make sure you’re still alive every five seconds. You just both need to check on each other at the same time, then maybe you’d see.”
Roach was being crazy, you had decided, Soap didn’t like you like that. It was too easy, nothing in your life was easy. You were fighting fucking terrorists, that was hell, and as you explained this to Roach he simply raised his eyebrows at you. “Don’t you deserve to be happy, then?” Somewhere, in the back of your mind, you had decided that at that moment, he had to be right. You’d always known it, but, hearing it from your best friend set it right. You stand up, looking over to Roach with a small smile, “You’re welcome.” He mutters, as you grab your bag, leaving a tip for the bartender, and take a quick shot. Liquid courage, you note to yourself as you rush out of the bar.
Your walk back to base, and to Soap’s room has you stuck inside of your own head. Your palms are sweaty, and you debate whether or not you’re actually going to throw up or if you’re just nervous. You lean towards nerves. Hopefully.
You stand outside of Soap’s room, staring at the door, debating whether now is the right time, the right place. Better here than on mission, right? Suddenly, the door flings open, and Ghost walks out of the room, he shoots you a look, one you could only note as knowing, and then you knock on the door, trying to keep it as gentle as possible while still getting his attention. Instead, he sees you when you walk in, his skin is flushed just looking at you.
“Captain…” You whisper and he holds his hand up, “Leftenant, um… (Y/N).” You’ve never seen him like this, “Fucken’ hell.” You take a step toward him, and he takes a step toward you. It’s quiet between the two of you until you clear your throat, here goes nothing. “Captain, I…” You clear your throat, and your stomach is jumping up into your throat, “I have feelings for you, Captain, I have had feelings for you for a while and I just… I needed to tell you, I needed to get it out and-.” Suddenly, you feel Soap’s arms underneath yours, and suddenly, his lips are pushing against yours. You’re kissing Soap, Soap is kissing you. Nothing else really matters, his lips are cold against yours, and you feel his fingers threading into your hair, you press your body into him and he quietly gasps a bit. You pull away from him, eyes full of concern and he shakes his head, “Just… a fresh bruise.” He chuckles, “Nothin’ t' worry about.” And you’re suddenly back in his arms. “Close the door, lass.” He murmurs against your lips and you oblige, his lips nipping at yours for just a moment.
You shut the door behind you, Soap pushing you tight up against now shut the doorframe and you yelp a bit, now it's his turn to pull away, looking at you with concern and yet also, you can't help but notice how widened his eyes are at this moment. "Are ye... okay?" Now, you shake your head. "Nothing a little bit of help can't fix, Captain." His eyes darken a bit and you use this opportunity to pull Soap's lips back to yours while his hands travel down your body, attaching themselves to your lower hips.
"Count this as your training for tomorrow, Leftenant."

( HEYYY OMG I'M SO GLAD YOU ASKED! i'll be answering this ooc because ... well, vox won't be helpful about this, haha! AND OF COURSE I’LL TAG YOU ! )
1st : get your friends to send you asks!
you'll need posts for people to see your blog and follow you, so to get started i highly suggest asking your friends to send you questions, and bonus if they're interesting ones! depends on which fandom your muse is from but just for example's sake, an interesting question would be on characters' backstories as there are many hazbin characters without a confirmed backstory yet, so it would be interesting to see your take on the character in that specific angle!
2nd : doll your blog up!
this is genuinely based off of experience, but if your blog looks pretty and organized, people will definitely flock towards it more! it might just be an aesthetic but it really does go a long way, because at the very start i didn't even have any graphics in my intro post and i realized activity went up as soon as i did make a graphic and improved the quality of vox's reactions. if you need help on where to start, @hellishradio has a tutorial on their faq on how he does his graphics for alastor's reactions and i personally use canva for my own!
3rd : consume/analyze canon media of your muse!
your portrayal of your muse is half of the appeal of your askblog! people will stay on if they find your portrayal is accurate to canon or agrees with their idea of canon. of course, since your running the askblog it also should agree with how you think your muse should be portrayed! and of course the best way to answer asks the way your muse would is to study them in that way as well. ironic as it sounds, i actually really hated vox when i first started this blog meaning i didn't really care for his scenes—now, i've replayed his scenes over and over to the point that i can recite probably 80% of his lines. i even did impressions of him and spoke in his voice every time i would type out a response just to be sure that the things i typed were things he would actually say HAHA OMG yeah but these are just fun little suggestions to help with your portrayal!
4th : this is important; if your muse calls for it, don’t be afraid to be mean.
obviously there are things you can’t and shouldn’t say, but this was something i was very scared about when i first started roleplaying vox. you can skip this if you’re playing someone agreeable but i thought this was worth saying because i know how daunting it is to be mean, but believe me when i say it makes the biggest difference, especially when portraying someone from hazbin hotel. there are a number of characters besides vox (e.g. velvette, valentino, adam) who’s insults are part of their characterization, so definitely do not be afraid to be mean if your muse is naturally a mean person! i think specifying that you’re only playing a character and that all of it is for fun also helps with the nerves!
5th : reply to others’ askblog responses.
it also serves as a really fun way to have short interactions with others in the fandom and a really cool way to make roleplaying friends and mutuals! it’s basically how i got to be affiliated with the blogs in my intro post, and of course people from that person’s askblog will check yours out too!
6th : an honorable mention; try to make funny responses if and only if you can!
i won’t push this point as strongly as the rest because i understand it also depends on how your muse is in canon, but i thought it was worth mentioning anyway because it’s what personally really helped my blog. (if you’ve been here since the ‘hdmi cable’ response, i love you so much thank you) i think it goes without saying that people remember funny responses more than others, and with that comes a smidge of extra entertainment for them, which will draw them to your blog!

I've rambled about this theory too much lately so I'm just gonna say random stuff and tag the theory tag so you can indulge in everyone else's thoughts but basically
Based on all the teasing in s2, I think we're getting a reveal in s3 and I think that either
1) Crowley will be revealed to have been the previously missing Raphael (which seems to line up well with a lot: the snake thing, the 'I think I understand better than you do' thing, the everyone knows him thing, the knows god personally thing, the 'Raphael seems to be conveniently not mentioned...maybe to hide heaven's institutional problems?' thing, the 'walks on earth and helps protect humans' thing, the 'is Lucifer Satan in this universe? And he says 'Lucifer and the guys at one point but who knows how he meant it' thing, the 'how do you know it wasn't me?' In reference to archangel power thing, the 'close enough to god to think he's safe asking questions' thing, the whole 'his bitterness towards Gabriel feeling distinctly sibling-y even if it was rooted in love for aziraphale' thing, something about the fact he keeps houseplants and terrifies them into submission while trying to keep them alive and 'perfect' feels like he can't deal with smth not being perfect or 'healed' as a lingering thing from his past- he pushes them to be healthy and perfect...can he not do that for them anymore?, the 'knowing when somebody is too far gone to heal' thing and the acceptance of human passing (that feels very important in s2 for some reason) thing, the 'are they making Lucifer a prince of heaven or were they on about someone else, how is this working?' Thing, the 'we know he was powerful so there's a small chance could be Raph thing, smth about the metatron wanting him back and as an Angel...is he luring him using Azi? Does he want Raph back to replace Gabriel?, the 'his cute prefall self gives off both Raph and Lucifer energy and it's so strong it is suffocating' thing, the way he didn't even hesitate when opening the file which suggests that he was RIGHT at the top bc if he was only just high enough he may have hesitated or considered other precautions put in place to stop him from spying, the SARAQAEL TRUSTED HIM SO QUICKLY??? Thing...they really hoped he remembered them???? That's weird..., something about the job story that I cannot articulate, the fact Raphael is MISSING (possibly thought to have just DISAPPEARED) in relation to the number of times Crowley suggests running away, he hates the idea of earth and human life ending for the start...does he want an endless cycle of growing and...gradual healing? Something something he protects people from before the beginning something something, etc)
OR
2) Aziraphale will get his position as head archangel and BECOME the Raphael of the series bc of the name similarity, the healing thing, and the fact the name Raphael hasn't even been mentioned thus far, while Crowley is revealed to have been another angel, likely either Lucifer or Barachiel (both of which would be pretty cool)
I personally prefer option 1 but option two is looking prettyyyyy likely I will admit. I'd be happy with either but...Raph Crowley has a special spot in my heart

Psst! Mutual who is some kind of aromantic here, have you ever considered that you may be aromantic, or perhaps frayromantic in particular? Like, as in you experience romantic attraction, but this attraction fades after getting to know the person you're attracted to?? If you're not frayromantic that's okay too, but I thought maybe if you've never heard this term it could be helpful for you to look into it!
There are many people who share your exact feelings, and it's not a bad or disgusting thing to experience, by the way. You shouldn't punish yourself for having your own feelings, if they were something you could control through will alone the world would be full of people who only act upon logic and reasoning and not how they feel about a situation.
And studying the person you're attracted to could be your brain trying to understand what caught your interest in the first place, it could be your brain trying to protect itself from something it doesn't understand, but trying to understand other people in relation to yourself is also just a totally normal thing people do.

Thank you for the kind words!!!; V ; Like i said in the tags of a post yesterday, even though I think im allo (as i do have a few very genuine. People ive had & have romatic feelings for, that have been long lasting, esp one) i do reasonate w a lot of aro experiences in other cases. Eg technically you're right- ive had the frayromantic experience many many times. Someone else suggested I look into lithromantic experiences and that rly reasonates w me too- i have a couple friends i technically do have rly like. Strong ass crushes on, but also the idea of actually being in a romantic relationship w them can be. Disinteresting or even repulsive. I am specifically drawn to being a lil in love w them, yearning for them, but them being my friend/other aquintance.
I do have a lot of guilt around these feelings since ajgh. Memtal eelness. But. Learning abt other ppl w adjacent experiences does make me feel a lot better
Also u r right... i think the studying ppl thing is more of a thing of.my. social anxiety. Id bet. Like im not as afraid being around.ppl anymore? Like the fear nerves don't activate? But it's still how my brain learned to work in an enviroment to survive. I hope i can... i actually. This is prolly smth i should talk abt in therapy, when i do get back in there one day. HUGE fan of your tick garden post. As a country mfer seeing ignorant city slicker suburb livers (key word ignorant) talk about this shit is so infuriating. My family keeps a low cut lawn because even with our low cut, well maintained grass lawn, we frequently get ticks. Within the past 2 years I've probably pulled 30+ from my body, countless more thoughout my life and as someone who's already disabled I have to get tested for Lyme disease frequently to ensure my symptoms are still from my other issues. Ticks ain't something to dismiss so easily. They are a huge issue. They can be deadly. Are they extremely important to the ecosystem ? Yeah, and that's why we keep em around and why we use bug sprays n shit when we venture into their home. Talking about biodiversity lawns without touching the topic of ticks irks me so bad. Thank you for taking time to make that post !
The funny thing is I am absolutely an ignorant city slicker, maybe even worse than suburbs since I've spent all my life in flats in the strict city center. never even had a lawn. I did however have a tick once and it, without any exagerration, ruined my life. like almost every big setback I've faced in my life, the reason I've been in first year of uni 4 times, soon to be 5, barely graduated highschool despite having mostly good grades, because I was barely above the 50% attendance minimum, all directly traceable back to lyme.
I expected that post to get like 15 notes at most, not 10k in one day, and although i'm glad bc this is important info, I might have written it differently. for example mentioned why and how to safely remove ticks (without killing or squishing or suffocating them, so you don't push the lyme into ur bloodstream, by levering or pinching them up from underneath) and mostly that the overall point is that just letting things grow wild is not biodiversity.
Restoring biodiversity takes more work than keeping up a manicured lawn, not less, at least at first, even though some people try to offer an easy way out. letting things just grow as they please will actually atract more invasive plants. You need to do your research and carefully plan out which places you'll dedicate to food, to pollinator friendly wildflowers, and which you're actually planning to hang out on, and thus will need to keep short. people in the notes have been suggesting great alternatives like clover, moss or woodchips, and other ground cover plants that stay short and require less upkeep than grass, but you still need to do research to lear what's good for your area, and since I'm polish, I can't do that for americans.
someone tagged that post saying smth like 'people want laws to go back to how they were before humans adapted them that is unihabitable' and they were right. there are places (vacant lots, golf courses, fenced off decorative patches of grass, that can and should go back to wildflowers and native grasses as tall as you wish, but for hanging out it, you need sufaces or short, walkable, high visibility for snakes etc, plants. or at the very least paths of those.
my family has what is essentially two vacant lots near the woods, attached to falling apart, rotting, half-built cabins in the countryside, so I know very well how the 'low effort' approach to lawn restoration goes. One used to be a well maintained grass lawn up until like 2005, now it gets mowed once every year or two. it's knee high grass so thick it tangles around your legs and trips you if you try to walk normally. people get several ticks each every time they visit. the other hasn't been touched in at least 20 years, and it's all stinging nettle taller than me (and I'm not especially short) so obviously not exactly hospitable to human life either. if you have a bit of land you never use, let it go wild if you want. But in order to make a lawn usable and biodiverse, you're gonna need a lot more work that just giving up

so i saw the tags on that post you just reblogged (about being super into fibre arts) and i… have a question, if wouldn’t mind answering? (feel free not to, ofc!)
so i am not that post - i learnt the chain stitch when i was eleven and my school had a crochet club. i’m not eleven anymore, but i’ve crocheted on and off over the years. but get this: i’ve never learnt another stitch since. i’m working on a blanket now, and… a couple months ago, i woke up in literal agony as i couldn’t move my hands at all. went to the doctor sobbing, they told me that i’d somehow managed to inflame a muscle in my elbow or smth, just because of how many hours i spent doing the same stitch over and over and over (i’m also a writer - from my phone - so like. lol. in hindsight, not the best idea…), so i’ve been kinda weary of working on the blanket for too long now—
so! what i was wondering was if a) there are any other relatively easy crochet stitches than an amateur could learn? (optionally ones that’d look nice with the chain stitch:D) and b)… how do you become that person, who knows a lot of different fibre arts and in somewhat depth? because i’d really love to do that but craft stores are so daunting, and whenever i look stuff about fibre arts, the person behind the yt video/website thinks that the reader has some sort of idea about said art and i….. do not lol, and i never know where to start.

As someone who has gave herself tendinitis in both wrists from knitting too much in a week, you need to keep an eye on that injury. It took mine well over 10 months to heal and five years later I still get weakness and pains if I work them too much. So be careful with your wrists/elbows, take lots of breaks, do your physical therapy, do a bunch of warm-up stretches (or if you're like me and forget, pause every hour or so to do some). And most importantly: pay attention if anything feels like it's pulling or aching or numb or tingly. And if it does, you have to stop for the night, no acceptations, no "just one more row", you're done. Which sucks, but better than a permanent injury.
I started with knitting in college, mostly like what you're doing with crochet: same repetitive thing over and over until you're very confident with the stitch and tension on yarn, etc. For me, it really helps if you have a project you want to do that requires a new technique--I don't tend to do well with just practicing something for the sake of it, I want to make something fun! So my suggestion would be to look up a pattern (not a complicated one) that uses a new technique you want to learn and then just try it out. Worst that can happen is you rip it out and try again! This is how/why I picked up crochet after years of knitting: I wanted to make some cute little animals and it's a nightmare to knit those. But they're easy to crochet.
Also, consequently, switching fiber crafts can allow you to extend the amount of crafting you can do if your arm starts bugging you again. You just have to swap the type of motion and stress you're applying to your wrists. For months after injuring mine, I was only doing cross-stitch--the weight of the project was significantly less than, say, a blanket and moving a needle through fabric involved very different motions than knitting. I actually grew up doing embroidery, added knitting and later crochet in college and grad school, got into cross-stitch after that, and now I have a sewing machine and want to learn spinning and...oh no.
To actually answer your crochet question: I think it's pretty easy to go from a chain stitch to a single crochet stitch, and once you get that, doubles and triples are just how many more times you loop the yarn. I haven't done a whole lot of crochet--mostly making amigurumi--but these were easy enough stitches to learn and there are a whole bunch of very nice and slow youtube tutorials. Pick your fav yarn and hook size and try them out!

Moving on from that, I'm glad you loved the story so much. It's always wonderful to know that readers love what I write. Like yeah I mainly wrote for myself but the praise tho I feel it's unneeded (I'm always gonna be finding things I couldve done better 😂).
Honestly this story really took a life of its own. I say that with every smau tbh, I start with one idea and then by the end it's a different but still somehow similar idea that I started it 😂.
I'm so glad this YN is ur fave. She's struggling so much even if everything was okay cause her inner demons were always there, they didn't disappear and her learning to lean on those around her, accept that she is loved and cared for was very important to me.
I also was very cautious in that I didn't villainize YN for these very real feelings that everyone feels.
God knows I've been through moments of self hatred and I wanted to show that it's never as bad as you think. You might think your all alone but there is always someone there for you to talk to. I know that YN frustrated readers when she let her insecurities get in the way of her happiness but that is a reality that sometimes you get so in your head that you think what your doing is best when it isn't.
Sorry went on a whole tangent abt this YN 😂😅.

Oooh good question. I don't necessarily plan my smaus tbh. I just have the rough idea then it's chapter by chapter. Which if you've noticed is why chapter titles tend to change quite a bit cause I change my mind or this one idea doesn't work but this other idea for the next chapter works better.
I love txt and Soobin is my bias so I was always going to include him. Yeonjun and Beomgyu kinda just came along too. The idea to have them be triplets came and I ran with it. All three of them were gonna cause more chaos and strife with there being actual feelings still there with Sooyn but I decided against that after considering how much YN is dealing with low self esteem and self hatred. In the end I love the bond they have 🫶🏼🫶🏼.
If I can give another rec, I suggest reading Peace that's my other HP au but it's Jay this time and it's Gossip Girl meets Harry Potter. (I just wanna know your views on that 😂).

do you think, that hackketts borthers could all have their way with ryan? just curious!!
you mean like all 3 of them, at the same time? or separately? i can see travis & bobby teaming up to mess ryan up, esp if laura killed their parents or idk, they just done playing nice. but either way, whatever the reason might be, i can’t see chris being on board with this. i don’t think, that he would for one see it as ‘morally acceptable’, as much as his own morale is kinda uh…fluid. but then, he also won’t be keen on sharing with his siblings lol.
and like while i love the chapter, where ryan gets chased around by bobby, i can’t see him doing anything non homicidal, unless he’s told to do it. so unless, travis will be there to tell him what to do, it’s very unlikely for bobby to come to this conclusion by himself. like that he can use ryan not only as a knife cushion.
but truth to be told, while i drawn that art, i was like huh, what about an AU, where ryan is kinda stuck with all 3 of them? it could be very interesting, esp considering that there are many ways to terrify and torture a person. not just plain idk stabby / r*pe stuff. and chris supposedly being the only ‘good’ one of the bunch, while in reality being almost as terrible as the other two hackett brothers. if not the worst one. i really love thinking about how far chris can push it, and still manage to lie to himself about his deeds. esp if we imagine, that his parents and kids are dead. it would automatically make ryan the only ‘nice’ thing, that he has left. so to what extent will he go in order to keep it? travis will be the new ‘head’ of the household, and bobby is just, well, a bobby. but with them there, what and how would chris react to some of their suggestions? it will laura & max situation 0.2. can’t let him go, but how long can one keep ryan locked, before smth will happen?
this would have made such a complicated tale. esp bc out of all things, that i ship in horror games, chris hackett is the most UNLIKELY person to kidnap ‘their better half’ and hold them captive. travis was uncomfy with what he was doing (to some degree, at least), but chris will mostly be simply miserable lol. and what will ryan do? how will he navigate this situation? i mean, as much as i love that kid, he wouldn’t have made it, if he was one on one with one person, who clearly wants to gut him (bobby). the other one, who doesn’t care much (travis). and then, someone who he used to trust, but now, doesn’t know what to make of (chris). both ryan and andrew (Little Hope) seem to share a similarity in how almost passive they are, when it comes to danger. and how they don’t seem to possess a lot of will to go on fully on their own. they always need a companion to tag along.
but oh boy, returning to question at hand in more straightforward way, i don’t think, that i will ever write travis / bobby doing anything sexual to ryan, bc i kinda very OTP orienteted person. and i doubt, that chris would have okay-ed it in any fashion. it’s more likely for him to non-con ryan himself, than knowingly allow anyone else do it.
so while, i’m always open to horrible things happening to characters in horror games. and i’m always up to make it even worse for them. i must say, that it doesn’t feel ‘natural’ for me here. mostly, bc of how both chris and ryan are. and then, how chris still has some morale in him, and his care for ryan seems to kinda hold him back more, than once. but like if we consider a set-up, where all of the hacketts beside travis and bobby are dead, and ryan is the only alive counselor, well….it would go VERY, like VERY bad for him then. neither, bobby or travis would give a fuck about keeping him alive for long.
