Me: keeps writing fanfiction where characters have quiet, fraught talks with their emotionally abusive parent.

Also me: keeps fucking PUTTING OFF writing those scenes.

Still also me: puts my head on my desk and whines.

Dear anonie, I admit I’m surprised you came to me with this ask because I don’t remember mentioning BV in my years of being here and the drama was forever ago so why? lol

You seem to have a lot of feels so I will try to gather my thoughts or what remains of them : it was a drama I highly enjoyed back then. Kang Mae is a character that wasn’t easy to like at first but is hard to forget afterwards. I am a sucker for stories about underdogs and misfits or people so different ffrom each other they make for an improbable group and yet they somehow come together and achieve things against all odds. I remember BV as a show about character growth and moving relationships, my favourite was the grandpa and the teenager flutist. The classical music only made this more beautiful to me because I love it, the show made me take notes and look for pieces later to enjoy on my own. The one part I didn’t really care about was the romance lol I wasn’t into it or maybe it was objectively a weakness in the show I can’t tell exactly now. I’d probably be more critical of the drama as a whole if I were to watch it now but I only have a fond memory of it today so I like to believe it was still good despite its flaws.

BV also makes me nostalgic and a little sad as a former JGS fan. That boy had so much potential and 2007-2009 was his golden era, he could have gone places but everything went downhill with You’re Beautiful and his personal issues...oh well
