I have this headcanon that Nico dresses up all fancy every time he goes down to the Underworld on official duties as the Ghost King. He's so extra, but no one dares to tell him otherwise since he's as handsome as he is intimidating. I wonder what Will thinks of his outfits?

Little backstory/fanfic below—vvv

Nick woke up at an absurd time, well 7am, but it was weird for him.

It was summer, and like every year, there was only Will, him, and some other people at Camp Half-Blood.

Nico slide out from under his covers and went over to a drawer by his bed. He grabbed a pair of socks before putting them on.

The 15-year-old walks over to his bathroom and brushes his teeth real quick. After, finishing freshening up and not looking like the living dead—even though he should be at this point.

He slid on his shoes and headed outside. The cold morning air made him wish he put on a jacket, but he didn’t feel like going back to his cabin.

The black hair boy walked over to the Apollo Cabin. He could have shadow-traveled but Will would have gotten made and Nico needed the walk to wake up a bit anyways.

He walked up the stairs and knocked on the door. On his second knock the door opened; a smiling boy with blond hair stared back.

“Hey Neeks!” The other said, moving away from the door, motioning for the shorter boy to walk inside. Nico nodded and walked in, going to sit on the others bed.

“I wouldn’t have come here if I didn’t like you,” he said with no heat behind it. He didn’t mind spending time with his boyfriend. He really enjoyed it—the small and big moments.

“Ya, ya. I get it’s early. We need to start early if we’re thinking about finishing the saga by tomorrow,” the blond smiled, brushing his own bed head to out of his eyes.

Nico groaned and went to sit on Will’s bed, “I swear to gods, I don’t know how you wrapped me into this.”

Will snorts and turns on an old T.V.

Chiron finally allowed a T.V. from the Big House to be inside the Apollo cabin so they could do this. Lots of chores and convincing went into having this full on Star Wars Saga Marathon to happen.

They only had it for two days though. This was when Will thought it was the perfect time to share what he thought was the best thing ever—Star Wars—to Nico in the matter of two days.

Nico got comfortable as Will finished putting in the first VHS. Which he explained to Nico that it was kinda old but was the only thing Chiron had. Nico didn’t mind. It was still new to him.

Will pushed play and slide behind Nico. Cuddling his boyfriend close as the title began to play.

“Why are we watching this again?” Nico said, leaning back looking at the blond by his side. Will—still staring at the old T.V. gave a small laugh rested his head on his hand.

“Shut up, Sunshine. Star Wars is awesome,” he replied. Nico rolled his eyes and got ready to enjoy the movies.
