So, you know how Donnie in Rottmnt is autistic? And you know how he doesn't really like much physical contact? That isn't because of his autism.

Soft-shell turtles don't like physical contact, preffering solidarity. They only show affection if they trust someone enough. But they are also one of the most aggressive little shits, just like the snapping turtle.

But I see why some may think or headcanon that Donnie doesn't like physical contact due to his autism and being overstimulated.

I feel like Donnie would actually have a soft shell turtle as a pet and when he was cleaning out his tank he would make Leo watch the turtle. But somehow Leo always ended up getting bit because he was being dumb.

Donnie: Leo I’m cleaning out *insert cool turtle name* tank I need you to watch him for me.

Leo: Alright

*10 minutes later*

Leo: *Screaming like a little girl*

Donnie: *Hears Leo’s screaming from his lab* LEO WHAT IS HAPPENING?
