~cute sock alert~
Finished my bear paws in time for the Bear Paw Sock KAL challenge! Super fun and quick DK-weight sock pattern that took absolutely no time to knit up. Between travel, cooking thanksgiving dinner, seeing a show, and a few other excursions—I knit these up over the course of 4 days while going at a very comfortable pace. Super satisfying.
Also, these just happen to be the 10th pair of socks made this year. Woohoo! I’m almost finished with the 11th, and I may just make another pair of bear paw socks to hit 12. 2022 was the Year of the Sock in this neighborhood. 🧦
It was getting dark and had been raining all day by the time I finished the paws, but here’s a moody shot of these babies on blockers:

cleaning my room and i found the first thing i ever tried to knit as a child. theres a couple more strips of garter stitch done with clearly improved motor skills but i feel very sentimentaly attached to this somehow. it's like finding a preserved textile in a bog.
it's cool to compare it to my most recent finished object-- since actually teaching myself back in October. i love learning. i love seeing past evidence of my love of crafts.

Just 5min before I had to leave for the airport I was able to finish the socks for my bf!
His brother is hiding them until his birthday tho I've had my bf try them on for fit, so they aren't technically a secret anymore...
Now I'm at the airport! Korea here I go
I didn't take a FO pic since I was in a rush so you get the last pic again, just imagine it finished!

Gentlefolk, I‘m stressed as fuck. There is so much going on in my life lately. So I wanted to treat myself to a quickly rewarding little project.

Say hi to Lungauer Sockenwolle by Ferner Wolle. It‘s got silk in it. It is luxurious, soft, smooth. The gradient?! Chef’s kiss. I‘m having the time of my life knitting up this babe at top speed. Socks are my comfort projects.
I'm working from home today, sitting in an online training course for work right now, listening to a lecture and just want to knit my stupid sock ^^ But cameras are on and there are 380 other people from all over the country and I'm a professional, unfortunately.
