That feeling when you got so many ideas but you are so tired
Ugh -_-
#ughghhh#you have no idea how many ideas go through my head#so so SO many amazing projects#and so many of them might never become more than ideas#I know I keep saying I'll work on my fics but when I actually WANT to the motivation is straight up gone#Especially for When The World Crumbles#remember back in like September when I coukdnt even go TWO WEEKS without writing#now its approaching two MONTHS since the last update#I just have to get past the absolutely stupid 15th chapter then I can go straight to the fun angst#but chapter 15 is the setup for the angst#ughghghgh#and fun fact that story is barely plotted out#I have a general idea where its going#the key events#but getting there?#I am so nervous that the plot will drag and it wont be fun#that it will feel too much like a repwtive fetch quest#Maybe thats a part of the writer's block?#general fear that the story will drag on and on#idk#ans then theres chapter one of Lost But Never Found#which is only like what fifteen words in the google doc because I am stuck on how to START the stupid damn thing#Once the chapter is started I can roll from there but ghghghh its so annoying#at least I got a chapter of Sunshine Of The Woods written but to be honest that wasnt my best work#barely anything happened in that chapter#it honestly could've been the ending to chapter three and nothing would've changed#but I wanted to do a christmas update so I rushed it out because I felt so bad for the infrequent updates#I swear to god it will pick up soon I promise#as for the infrequent updates I really am sorry about that#its hard to scrounge up the motivation to write but I will try to go for more frequent updates.

#detective conan#case closed#amv#my amvs#eye strain#heiji hattori#harley hartwell#conan edogawa#shinichi kudo#funimation english dub script#video#happy two-year anniversary to 'no thoughts just heiji hattori'!#while it's not my first amv (it's maybe my... fifth?)#it was the first one i made with davinci resolve and the amv that really got me into editing amvs for real#it's the amv that made me believe i could make amvs 🥺#and in remastering it i deeply understood how ambitious it was! i thought i did a lot of audio mixing for 'messed up'#but that's not even close to all the audio mixing i did here--cannot believe that i did all this for my first big amv project#it took about 20 hours *just* to remaster!#which is something i've been meaning to do for a while now so i'm very happy to finally share the results!#to make this a 'remaster' and not a 'redo' the only changes i tried to make were to the source footage and audio#video now uses almost entirely hd remastered footage from my blu-rays or netflix rather than my dvds#but oh gosh was it *hard* not to touch anything else! i'd do so many things differently now#but this video will always be really special to me (and i can't believe i did it at all tbh!)#i hope seeing it in hd is fun too! i'm so blown away by all the love this vid's gotten#and that it helped increase interest in funi's old english dub is amazing and 100% what i was trying to do with it!#thank you everyone for all the support <333 i wouldn't be the video editor i am today without this vid or your encouragement for it <3333#like the original the sources used are mostly from what funi dubbed (but mixed in hd by me!): eps 48-49 57-58 77-78 117 and 118 and movie 3#but i also used episodes 141-142 174 189 239 263 277 291 293 345 479 491 517 and 522#and ova 3 and tv special 6 (episode one) and movies 10 and 13 and ops 27 31 and 33 and the funi 5.2 dvd blooper for the one line lol#i'm sorry i've been so absent lately! i hope to be more active now... and there are 2 completely done amvs that i'm just waiting to post...

GW2 ROLEPLAYERS
So. I've had this idea reserved for some time, now I finally have the drive and time to pull it off.
Y'know how the GW2 world/public RP scene is kinda well, barely existent? I have an idea that may resurrect it in some way.
This will be for US servers!
HERE WE ARE! This is my WORLD RP RESURRECTION PROJECT!
The idea is to basically make whole cities or areas the " RP event" for quite a few hours, so it's a faux event with no set premise and is only really there to drag people to the area.
World sharding kinda broke random walk up RP for the most part, buuut what if there was some type of anchor point for a single shard?
I plan on being that anchor point, I'm going to select two days of the week and for about 5 hours a night/afternoon set up a squad for people to jump in and jump out of if they want, but at least everyone will be in the same shard.
I will probably rotate through cities, meaning a different one each day, people can set up their own events or businesses for these days to make these places feel a lot more lived in, I would appreciate anyone reaching out to me if they are interested in doing such, a lot of coordination is going to help this kind of project in the long run.
This will of course be headed by the efforts of a fairly small guild, any help will be extremely appreciated.
We are currently deciding on what days this whole thing will be, might make a poll for it if people like this idea enough.

The fact that Taylor has released the same amount of albums under Universal/Republic in less than half the time when she was with Big Machine, really makes me wonder about all of the potential things she could’ve done if instead of having to fight tooth and nail for everything, they had granted her more creative freedom and trusted her.
#adding these clarifying tags since this post has gained some traction#the point of this post isn’t ‘omg she could’ve released so many more albums!!’ it’s about the creative choices she could’ve made on existing#projects either in terms of sound or collaboration or what#it’s about the difference in trust the two labels had/have in her#bmg did have a lot of trust and belief in her but as she grew wildly popular there was an effort to rein her in#she’s at a point with umg where she knows they have trust in her that she’s comfortable with releasing music on her own terms#her gut instincts are usually spot on and toward the end of the relationship bmg started to push back#her relationship with them wasn’t horrible from start to end there were a lot of good moments it just started to crumble at the end#taylor swift#midnights#like the difference is absolutely crazy#she’s been with umg/republic for only four/five years and was with BMG for 11 and has released the same number of albums#okay forgive me it’s like 7 am but it’s more like 13-15 years#obviously she didn’t really have to start fighting for stuff until red/1989 but it really makes me wonder#and how she talked in the long pond sessions about being nervous and scared to turn folklore in and their confidence is like 180 from BMG#like they have completely trusted in her and let her do whatever she wants to amazing results#🗒#this got notes*

My favorite Link IS Wild, thank you for noticing.
My reason for liking him is two-fold, really.
Breath of the Wild is, to date, my favorite Zelda game. I've played a few of the others (namely a few of the really old ones and Link's Awakening), but I loved the open world gameplay and the ability to explore everything.
In Linked Universe, he's one of the Links that has the broadest range in head canons (or at least for years he was--the fandom has been picking on some of the other boys recently, good for them). Is he an insane pyromaniac that explodes things for fun? Is he an uwu baby that's oh so sad about his past? Is he a distinguished soldier and Champion of Hyrule? Is he feral? Is he an insecure "failure" that seeks the approval of others? Or is he confident in his own abilities and self at all times, having survived this long in the wild? Is his head stuck in the past with his ghosts and all of those that died and regret? Or is he looking towards a hopeful future and rebuilding the kingdom with Zelda? Does he see Time as a father figure, or as an unwanted authority? Does he see Twilight as an older brother, or as an interloper on his own freedom? Does he lean on the Chain as family and the same soul? Who is his family? Who is he to others? Who is he?
Anyways, as someone that was really struggling with their own identity (especially during the pandemic, yeesh) Wild became sort of a comfort character for me. He and this fandom got me through a lot XD in those years.

I'm too tired to draw Klinger properly right now, but I haven't had a chance to sit down and draw all week, however, now that I have the chance, I have no motivation, yet I know that if I don't draw right now another week will pass, so here is a poorly drawn Klinger depicting only a fraction of my exhaustion.

I'M DONE READING SKY'S EDGE!!
Just like a phoenix, Tsukasa will rise up again even if he falls a hundred times over, but I think it's okay for him to sit down for a while too.
Ngl it's funny how it feels like Tsukasa haven't gotten the memo that they're in their disbandment arc yet. Understandable, as the story is giving hints that he'll be the catalyst for the climax of WxS third storyline.
I was scared that Tsukasa might not get the role that he wanted from the event summary on Twitter, but I'm glad that he got it! And did he earn it too! It's really amazing that he managed to survive on water alone for three days while going to school, running for 10km and doing hours of warm-ups, and practicing for both the audition and his chicken role... Although I'm not sure if it's healthy. I've heard of actors doing ridiculous and reckless things to grasp a role, so I guess Tsukasa is only of those... And yeah, Tsukasa the perfectionist wouldn't stop at anything to perfect a role.
Heck, he even lied to Saki (and probs his parents) for three whole days?? An interesting thing to note is that apparently Tsukasa 'overshared' his trouble with Saki, but his expression doesn't even show his anxiousness. But of course, Saki always watches Tsukasa, so she knows something's up.
Back to the story, the others' 3rd rotation focus stories have been about their feelings about the future disbandment of WxS, and what actions they would take if that day arrives. However, Tsukasa has been thinking of his lack of skills since Pop in My Heart all the way to Sky's Edge. He's toying with that idea in Lion Dance Robot, but easily discards it because he's WxS chairman. However, his hunger for growth keeps growing stronger, and if no one satiates it there's a chance that he might consider leaving WxS again--for real this time.
Fortunately, Emu's brothers don't want to let one of their cash cows go just yet lol (I mean yeah, they feel gratitude for Tsukasa so they give this chance as well but you know... money is still money lol). They know that their tactic of letting WxS collab with Phoenix Stage for Phoenix Stage's 30th anniversary show is just prolonging the time (2-3 months at best), but now they're also thinking of how to make WxS keep working with them in the long term. Judging by Rui's little monologue at chapter 8, there might be a possibility where the three of them will work together to keep Tsukasa in WxS.
We know of the others' role models and inspiration (Emu's her grandpa, Nene's and Rui's were told in Mermaid and Revival respectively). While Emu's inspiration is the cornerstone of the first and second storyline, we know of Nene's and Rui's in the beginning of the third storylines. So I find it interesting that Tsukasa's inspiration will probably be told in WxS fourth rotation? Probably the end of this disbandment arc?? The flash to WxS main story prologue illustration may hint that we might see more of Tsukasa's childhood before and after he watched the show that changed his life, because he'll perform that same show as the character that his role model played in the past (most likely Tsukasa's fourth event focus).
Another thing, I like how the other WxS members in this event is shown to be more proactive in helping Tsukasa to grasp his role compared to back in Dazzling Stage. Sure, they still have the mindset of 'let's watch over him', but they're more... there? Rui made a robot to help Tsukasa (on Tsukasa's request), Nene taking care of Tsukasa's wounds, and Emu supporting Tsukasa when he was staggering, and everyone being there and never say anything about Tsukasa's tears? They were together with their chairman for every step. I guess their frustration on not being able to help Tsukasa in Dazzling Stage fueled them to be more forward in helping him in this event (also because they're worried by how reckless Tsukasa is with his own wellbeing if it's for making the best show... everyone, please take care of Tsukasa).
Also, I like how this story is telling us that Tsukasa is not a talented actor. He's charismatic, sure, but he's only a dime in a dozen of actors. All he has is his dedication and hard work to his craft, and even then he can't even see how far the peak is. More than that, the fact that he's able to use his negative emotions into something that will help him forward in the future is nothing short but inspiring. First, it was his loneliness and pain in Dazzling Stage, and now it's his frustration and helplessness in Sky's Edge.
I really love that Tsukasa's crying face isn't portrayed as beautiful---because it isn't. He's sad, he's frustrated, and he couldn't help but cry because he felt so powerless in front of an overwhelming talent. His face is scrunched up so much because he forced himself to see the ugly reality--that he's never as good as those who are talented than him.
But I think being able to look at your shortcomings and never avert your eyes from it is a talent itself. Not many people could be as strong as Tsukasa. He was able to do that without anyone's influence---all that strength is all him.
And his perseverance is rewarded--I seriously got goosebumps in chapter 8. The fact that he's using boku and not even ore in his inner monologue just shows how much Tsukasa managed to make Rio's role as his... At that time, he was Rio. And when the scene is over (btw Sakurako answering Tsukasa's heartfelt acting is very heartwarming), Tsukasa was still in a daze because I guess that's just how much he was 'into' his role.
And after it was announced that he does get that role, Tsukasa's first thought is not the satisfaction that he finally managed to get that role, but relief because he could see Emu''s, Nene's, and Rui's smiles---he's happy not because he managed to get his dream role in his dream show, but because he managed to answer their support and trust in him. He was able to grow so much because they were there with him--and I think this mindset will be important for the third storyline climax for sure.
I also think that this friend of Sakurako will show up in future WxS stories as Tsukasa's rival, but who knows lol.
The next event! Rui decides to move forward in his plan, and Nene is determined not to get left behind by Tsukasa's growth! I wonder which one will come first... (psst psst, Nene)

Watched Meti not the bad guy's video on roland from ruina

and it reminding me of many beats of the game (and even telling me new things since i havent read the original orlando story and not every single piece of side text from these games) and my final conclusion is library of ruina is currently the best piece of media i have ever engaged with

#oh lads. its not looking good for my genomics exam on Thursday. its all fucked#i dunno. its just been a weird day. bc one of my lab mates is getting ready to go to the astr0biology science conference#and its just so wild how i got here. into the perfect position. i have a great advisor. a great phd project. a committee member who is super#integrated with n4sa astr0biology projects. and so many of the instructors are amazing. my genomics prof is terrifyingly smart#so is my advisor and his wife. and the program is great. ecology and Evolution. its perfect. its all perfect#and yet. and yet. it just feels like its all falling apart. ive lost that compulsive thing thats always set in my chest#and now all i want to do is lay on the floor and cry and sleep and not do anything. why am i so tired?#its just so frustrating. and im sure ive got the most wretched vibes bc im constantly like 1 comment away from bursting into tears#like 2 weeks and its done. then im off to find a summer job. and find a long term job. and consider throwing away everything ive ever worked#toward. just let it all burn. im so tired. and i dont get to see my therapist until Monday. thats gonna b fun#hi. hello. since last i saw you my life has crumbled into pieces. ugh. i just dont wanna fail this genomics exam but it looks like that's#where we're headed. maybe i should have just dipped out of these last 3 weeks. but no. i didnt want to leave the lady i ta for 100 lab#reports to unexpectedly have to grade 4 days before grades are due. ugh. itll b fine. i mean it wont but whatever#unrelated
