Hello! I found your page a few days ago, and last night, I completely binged on your Misconduct fic (I regret it sm cuz now I read it all T-T). And can I just say, wow, I think this has been my official favorite fanfic if all time. I can relate so hard to MC, and I've had similar abuse, and the way you write her is so authentic. Sometimes when fic writers portray abuse, it just doesn't ring true for me, but jeez yoir portrayal is SO fucking accurate. Anyway. Fangirling aside... I have a few questions for you!

1. Do you think part of the reason Alastor was so interested in MC is because she carries herself like his mother/has similar qualities to her?

2. Are we gonna see some of Alastor's childhood in this fic? I'm interested to hear about it since he hinted at it during the picnic.

3. (I know this question is annoying so ahndbfbfb feel free to ignore it, but do you have an estimate for when the next part is coming out? I only ask bc in a previous ask you said you like to plan things out haha)

4. Oh and! What do you think Alastor would do if during intimacy he notices MC dissociating/crying? What do you think he'd say if she voiced her thoughts about not being good enough?

I thought I established it in chapter 10, but it will be become more obvious in chapter 11 that the reason Alastor is attracted to reader is not only because she is just insanely attractive, but because she has the same glint in her eyes that he does when he murders people; she has the ability to kill. Reader is neither elegant nor cute nor whatever, reader is your or your self insert, so whatever YOUR reader is, thats what reader is. (Does that make sense lmao??)

Honestly I wasn't planning on having Alastor's childhood in it because it would serve no purpose to the plot and I feel a lot of people would get bored if I did that. I might make him have some flashbacks of his mother, only snippets, but nothing in depth.

Honestly, I'm almost finished with this next assignment! LUCKILY ahaha. I've begun on Chapter 11, I just gotta focus on it, with the discord server and my assignment, i've been a bit too busy to focus on it. But I'm hoping to get the next chapter out by... Sunday??? Fingers crossed!!!

Went on google search, typed in 'Ugigiugi' just to analysis her tracing again, and accidental found her ancient Egyptian Mythos art. Apparently either Ugigugi or someone else relogged them on Pinterest and because of that they are now forever frozen there as a memory of a person who is no longer on the internet (and thank god for that).

I was happy to actually find these because I genuinely need to see what these looked like, as when looking at the tracing PDF file that @/Twistedpometea made and seeing a few select of the Egyptian mythos art there, I noticed that if you go to her Deviantart (the only social media she has left) the Ancient Egyptian stuff was the only thing that was completely 100% deleted. you can't find any of the art for it other than on google.

Moving on to an actual topic, while looking at this art wise, not only can you tell that a mass majority of this art is traces of Leona from Twisted wonderland, but the designs are straight up nearly stolen from the Webtoon Ennead (Another place she also traced from in a few of her works). Her Seth is literally a hybrid of the Ennead Seth and Leona from TWST mixed together to make some hybrid child.

I'm assuming she decided to make this "beautiful' decision so that she can easily trace fanart of both Leona and Seth instead of actually have to draw anything at all from scratch.

Anyway, thought this was interesting because my closing suspicion of her possible being homophobic keeps growing because this is apart of the several pieces of work were she replaced a male character in a MalexMale relationship (whether its fanart or official original art) with her female self insert to serve a heterosexual perspective. This time being a more sever case.

If no ones ever read 'Ennead' it is strictly considered a boy love story. Seth (god of war in Egyptian mythos) is seen having several romantic and sexual relationship with men. Specifically the god Horus. Its-- the story is a lot, but the main point is that this series doesn't have many hetro elements to it.

In Ugigugi's version she keeps Seth, gives him Leona's personality (kind of), and then replaces Horus with her Self insert Julia. The stories are nearly the same from what I can gather and all she did was erase the more graphic and horrid parts of the story to create a more fluffy 'gentle' perspective of the relationship. Almost in a way to spite the Ennead version of the story which has a much darker storyline to it.

Funniest part of this all? She's drawn Ennead fanart before so I genuinely do not get why she thought she was going to get away with this.

(LMAO love how in these pieces to not make it clear that she took heavy, and I mean HEAVY inspiration, from Ennead she just changed the art style. Just because the designs [which were probably also taken from other sources] are different doesn't mean that the tracing of the characters aren't obvious)

Now the only thing I want to know is why she mass deleted all of the Egyptian artwork she did and not the obviously traced Twisted Wonderland work that's still on her DeviantArt. is the author of Ennead more threatening with copyright striking? Was the universe she created actually co owned with another user and the other didn't want to participate anymore after realizing she was a tracer? Was she accused of something like racism ? Its odd for sure. if anyone knows comment or reblog because I think its really strange.

(also in the process of making this I found more of her ancient Egyptian mythology art so will make another post. Apparently its being sold on those weird scam sites that sell things for expensive prices. Apparent they think many of this work is worth 24USD. )

You called Caroline a white Bonnie, how so? Bonnie in my opinion had more of a consistent personality in the show. She was consistently written as a moral superhero for everyone. Caroline was whatever Plec needed her to be in the episode imo. A victim in one, a villain in another, one day she’s sleeping around with every man in the show (that’s an exaggeration, but yeah), the next day she’s slutshaming another girl for doing the exact same thing (Elena also slut shamed her for sleeping with/ being raped by Damon, even though Elena also sleeps around, so I guess it’s a running theme). One day she hates Klaus with all her heart, the next day she sleeps with him even though he killed her boyfriend’s mother. One day she’s a girls girl, the next day she’s a misogynistic mean girl. It really depended on what Plec thought was right for the plot of the episode. And am I the only one who thought that the Alaric/Caroline thing was off putting? Wasn’t he her teacher? Didn’t he date Elena’s surrogate mother AND her aunt? And so much more. And he admitted to having feelings for her, even though she was an adult at the time, it was… strange. And I didn’t like the plot line of her being pregnant with the twins without her consent. The forced pregnancy was just not my thing. Did she even give any sort of hint that she wanted to be a parent throughout the show? I don’t remember.

Not that I disagree with your thoughts on Caroline. I just wasn’t talking about her then. Tyler ends up dating Liv Parker in season 6, that’s his final relationship after Caroline. I agree, Caroline is just a self-insert for Julie turning her into whatever the show needs for that moment.

Penelope Mitchell/Liv was being set up to be Bonnie/Kat’s replacement since Julie admitted to wanting Bonnie permanent death to be in season 5. That tweet is still posted btw.

If Bonnie is no longer the resident witch and there are no more Bennett’s then of course the remaining witches are going to get the spotlight.

Tbh, the way tvdu fans ignore/ed Bonnie/Kat they wouldn’t have cared if she was fired to make room for another white and woman they found more desirable.

Candice has admitted that she found out she was pregnant called Julie and Julie from there rewrote season 7 to accommodate Candice’s pregnancy. Which tells you exactly how she feels on Kat getting full attention because Candice was not the last woman standing lol. Candice didn’t have to stop working I cannot stress this enough but she certainly was not the first woman to be pregnant onscreen and have the baby bump hidden.

Caroline never mentioned anything about children until that forced pregnancy. Alaric was married to Elena’s birth mother, then dated Jenna. Either way Calaric was a waste of time. Lmao.

White!Bonnie to clear up further confusions for you lol: are white witches who are abused for their magic or serve others but have agency. Ex: Freya her siblings, Davina with the NOLA witches or vampires, Hope’s a martyr for the Salvatore school, Liv is Bonnie and Rebekah mixed but even she didn’t want anything to do with magic because of what happened to her family lol.

Bonnie’s beautiful, compassionate, powerful, intelligent but she’s black. Not okay to be anything but white in tvdu. Instead of pushing Bonnie, the writers took these qualities and gave them to white and desirable women.

i have gotten out of my slumber (merry 2 days late christmas by the way!) and I wanted to share this concept bc i just finished the Sumeru Quests

side note: i’ve been trying to make this idea into a serveral part fic for a long time, but I just didn’t know where to start and nothing I wrote seemed good enough, So i gave up. (i wrote a little bit of it here, but I didn’t know where to continue it after that so... lmao)

also im sorry if this isn’t exactly a reader x scaramouche, there’s a little bit of self-inserting in here This was keeping me up at night kek. Sorry if any of you guys don’t like how characterized it actually is. I had to get it out of my system.

I’m thinking about Scaramouche with a reader just like him. An artificial god, made to hold a gnosis, except in this case, they actually succesfully hold the gnosis.

You were sworn to keep it a secret. You swore to your creator, the hydro archon, that you would keep it a secret.

Yet you were no god. You were simply a tool of the god- to fill her own wishes. To funfill her own goal: to build a tower to Celestia. That was the entire purpose of your life.

Time and time again, the storms in the sky would destroy the tower, burnt it down the the ground. Yet, if you didn’t finish this project, you were sure the hydro archon would destroy your body herself.

Justice would be served to those who did not serve purpose.

Those were her words from the start. There was no reason to live, unless you were useful. You were told this from the first moment you ever set foot into this world.

You are an engineer. You are a doctor. You are the highest ranking government official. You needed to make sure the reign of justice would be carried out. With grace and precision. As per she ordered.

Yet, your life was meaningless. An endless cycle of sleepless nights, stress, and fear. You needed an escape. A person who not only needed you, bu loved you.

You remebered your first days as a human. You were made with the forbidden Alchemy from Khaenri'ah. Therefore, you must be kept a secret. Your body was the same as a engineer from Khaenri'ah- the same one who built the city of Fountaine. The person who designed the court.

The whole city depended on her. She allowed the city to thrive, she healed everyone of their sickness. It was as if she was from another world.

Until one day, she disappeared.

The Hydro archon sent people out to find her. To Khaenri'ah. Most of the people died in the process- only one person came back after the Archon war.

She was dead. She had died in the Archon war. Yet, the searcher managed to gather all her belongings- including the notes she had. The exact same knowledge that had saved all the people in Fountaine.

And in that knowledge, were detailed notes on how to make a human out of pure elemental energy.

You were made based on those very instructions. You were made to make sure Fountaine was under control. You went to Tevyat’s ends to make sure that justice would be served to those who deserved it.

Kunikuzushi was any passerby. As ordinary as the next. According to the rumors, he was simply just a wanderer from Inazuma. Fair enough, you thought. After all, Fountaine was the most technologically advanced nation, even more so than Snezhnaya and Sumeru.

So, one day, you were shocked when he walked in on you. You were isolated in a field, playing a violin. Playing violin was a method of escapism for you. A method to relieve stress.

How did he even find you here?

He looks at you in awe. Had he never seen this instrument? It felt like he was looking at you when you were undressed, it felt he was looking at you bare.

“What?”

And that’s how you met him.

He revealed that he was the same as you. Created by a god, but discarded. He admired you. And you had grown a fondness towards him. Almost like a brother-sister realtionship. Someone who could understand you.

Yet, in all your time together, he never told you his name.

And after staying in Fountaine for a while, he left.

You never saw him again.

Not that you minded. If your “mother” found out, she would be enraged that you developed feelings towards a being from another nation. Your friendship with him was your own secret. And it was better if you didn’t get too attached anyways; it might cause you trouble later on.

Little did you know, he had always been with you. He could never leave you. So, you never saw the small electro mark on your forearm. You never noticed the small purple streak in your hair. You never realized the purple hue in your eyes.

Maybe you had began to miss a bit too much. Life was still dull and boring as ever. But it was supposed to be like that. Day after day, papers pilled up at your desk, demanding to be finished. Yet, you couldn’t be bothered.

You thought about your last moments with the wanderer from Inazuma. You and him were in the national hospital. He had dressed up in Fountaine Attire, hoping not to get caught with you. Seemingly, it must have worked because no one spared a second look at you.

“Hey. Why do you do this for the people?”

You didn’t respond. Part of it might have been because you were too busy checking the vials of the paitent. But you didn’t know why you did this. It was simply an instruction.

“It’s because I have to.”

“And why is that?”

You paused again, clenching your jaw in thought, “Well... it’s because it’s an instruction, right? And like you, I don’t want to lose my heart either. I’ll be dead if I disobey my mom. I have to be as perfect as my predecessor. If not better.”

He didn’t respond. He held your hand tightly.

After a few moments of slience, Scaramouche looked at you again. “I guess our creators are equally cruel.”

“Yeah. Probably. Wouldn’t put it past me that I might be dead by tommorow.” You laugh, “It’s a sad life I lead, despite all these people depending on me.”

You didn’t see his expression back then. You didn’t want to.

He never came back again.

Kunikuzushi had found his parallel. Someone so opposite to him, yet so similar.

Yet, his heart had a painful throbbing feeling. His heart rang with jealousy, while his mind could not let go of you.

Oh, how he desired to be in the same situation as you. To be a god. To be needed, to be wanted. To be respected as divinty.

It’s not fair.

He decides to leave the next day. He wants you to think about him all the time. He wants you to miss him. He wants to be worshipped. Oh, how he wishes he could get you to depend on him.

He starts thinking about ways to destroy you. Ways to make you feel the same way he did back then. Ways to make you inferior to him.

He wants you to grovel and beg for his mercy. He wants to chain you to him forever.

He knows that’s not possible though, so he decides to disappear before he hurts you. Before he goes though, he’ll mark you from afar.

He’s greatful he never told you his name. He’ll let you make his name, once he turns into your god.

He was a Fatui Harbinger. He looked different. His aura was almost suffocating. Sadistic, arrogant. He was a criminal from an enemy nation. You could’ve arrested him right there.

You should have arrested him right there.

But you chose not to. He deserved his own life. His own freedom. You pitied him. And maybe that was a mistake.

He was not the same.

When you asked him for his name, he simply laughed.

“Why don’t you give me a name?” He asked, “I’ve never had a proper name. A name is the first gift one recieves in their life.”

“I’ve already disassociated with my life. I want to start a new one.” His face was an inch away from yours. He smirked at your face, which was bright red.

I don't get why any team green supporter would want the "Aemond is the father" theory to be true. It would only serve to undermine team green and shit on Alicent. I've seen many team black people that like this theory and their reasons are: "it's an good ironic twist since Alicent hated Rhaenyra's bastards", "it would highlight team green's hypocrisy, "see, the bastard argument doesn't matter, etc." Basically, they want to use it as "gotcha."

I think this theory only serves to prop up team black and will ruin team green's depiction even more. And no, I'm not a "Helaemond anti." I'm fine if they want to make it romantic instead of platonic, but I'd hate it if they make the kids Aemond's.

i don't know what to tell you anon since i already have a ton of posts in my backlog cataloging those very points so i'm going to redirect you to my helaemond tag. although some stuff might be found under the anon wars tag or inbox antagonism as i got besieged at one point

i'm just going to say that the greens being hypocritical in one regard isn't the end of the world. i don't know why people are so against this, they're not meant to be perfect angels. and they're getting much worse as the story progresses. also this changes nothing for the actual plot.

the bastardy argument absolutely does still matter, because it's a different thing entirely to have plausible bastards you can pass off as trueborn. we all know that if cersei had fathered those children with stannis (lol), we'd be having a different conversation. how would this amount to a gotcha moment for rhaenyra? she doesn't know shit and can't prove shit. meanwhile her children are looking like harwin strong's clones. aegon has got himself very properly targaryen-looking kids.

there's no DNA testing, but people aren't stupid either. those working in agriculture and animal husbandry have been manipulating genetics for thousands of years to get better crops and food without studying chromosomes under the microscope. sure, their understanding was limited, but it's reasonable to assume they would, at the very least, realise that a Rhaenyra-Laenor marriage could not produce Strong features and find it Pretty Sus

hey there, i'm not ~done with shipping asks, as this is my blog at the end of the day and i can be as annoying as i want. :)) i see both sides of this issue.

one the one hand, it's sometimes baffling how much of a difference there is between the actual presentation within a text / on screen and the fanon interpretations. i think like there is a conversation here and it is sometimes indicative of some other issues. it's not always just innocent, self-aware changes made for fun, sometimes it's also a question of media literacy or personal / societal prejudices at play here.

a personal example from my reading experiences was the fact that i used to encounter a lot of fics where alicent was depicted as this awful mother who hates her children and sees them as tools. i would get so tired of seeing this take (which i consider bullshit for a number of reasons) that it was kind of a frustrating situation, since it seemed that was the (undeserved) way she was being portrayed all over the fandom. it would bother me bc it's also something so prevailing in society today, to demonise women who are trying their best as bad mothers and place the burden of child-rearing on them. for example, people would look at the scene of a distressed alicent trying to calm a continuously crying helaena and would claim that the baby hates her because she is such a horrible mother to her. anyway. many such examples. you can look up my opinions on lucemond, for instance. :))

on the other hand, most fics imply some sort of changes somewhere, whether they're a fix-it, canon divergence, a freaking coffee shop AU, a crackship or characters acting OOC. it's completely normal AND harmless at the end of the day. so, as long as people mind their own business and are not being arseholes to each other, to each their own. the people who want to make these changes should be free to write without getting hate for it and the people who are frustrated by interpretations they dislike can rant about it in their own spaces and that should be that.

it truly becomes an issue when people don't mind others boundaries' anymore, become so hateful with others and resort to name-calling, morality high-horsing and other forms of online harassment and bullying. for example, there are many people who write fics i don't care for or have takes i strongly disagree with, but i've never in my life went to their inboxes to disparage them, send them hate, dictate what they should post, leave comments on their fics, deride their artwork, tell them to kys or any such things. at the end of the day it's about having some basic manners, you know? it's ok to not like stuff and feel frustrated about it, but do you have to make it everyone else's problem? can you not just convey your displeasure in a more considerate way?

yes, thank you, this was sent to me because i sometimes get requests from people asking me not to post something in favour of something else. this particular instance was because i answered other helaemond asks at the time.

is it fair? idk! some of those requests are worded v politely, so i'm not upset by them or anything, but, at the same time, shouldn't this blog be something that caters to me first and foremost? not to toot my own horn, but i should be my first customer in this regard. why else would i post if i don't enjoy doing it? i don't get paid for doing this, it's my own free time involved. if i have a day where i want to post shipping asks instead of something else, why not? if i have a day when i don't want to or can't muster up a coherent answer, i feel like it should be equally fine?

another thing that people don't realise - some might not like a topic or me talking about shipping wars for the 234th time this week, but others do. otherwise i wouldn't be getting so many messages about this. so, by trying to please 1 or 2 people, i might end up displeasing others. is that a good trade-off? this is why i don't even want to start considering my blog in those terms. "pleasing" everyone is an impossible objective, so i might as well just write about things if i enjoy them and not if i don't want to.

similarly, you're never going to find an account that caters 100% to your tastes, so i feel like trying to make it so by putting pressure on other people to post what you specifically want is an endeavour doomed to failure from the start. your first reaction when seeing something you're not interested in should be to scroll past, not to feel the urge to make people aware that you experienced a minor inconvenience and should, therefore, be accommodated accordingly.

ok so this really upset me when I saw the post in question because it just was so...idk how someone could even do that? seriously no self awareness whatsoever and it was one of the worst posts I've personally seen come out of that batman 2022 r*ddler self- insert craze. it didn't even directly happen in the batman 22 fandom itself either but in the fandom for DC's batman audio drama on spotify. idk if you know abt that one but one thing about that podcast is that multiple of the main cast actors are poc and while they never mention anything abt the characters' ethnicities in the podcast itself it's implied by the casting decisions (eg all the Waynes are played by black actors) that the characters played by actors of color are meant to be poc too, which is also how the fandom treats it and afaik the actors even talked about representation in some interview they gave. however, because it's an audio only medium there are no canon character designs so fandom made up their own and you can probably guess where this is going bc the post this rant is about is a post by a self-described "batman 2022 r*ddler kinnie" showing their idea of the podcast version of the character, which they made to look like the version from the movie because that version "looked just like them" so ig all versions of the character must look like that now lmao. anyways the reason why that upset me enough to tell you abt it is that it wasn't just that they made this character a copy of the movie one for self-insert reasons but that they seriously said that they are upset (!) because they wanted to reblog fan art of the podcast but all the fan art of podcast!riddler depicts him as a brown south-asian man (like he is implied to be bc of the previously mentioned casting decisions!) which doesn't fit with their white boy self-insert version. and I am just. they had a "racists dni!" in their bio and seriously complained about there not being any fan art of this character as a white man bc they can't relate to him if he's desi, on what level of hypocrisy do you have to be to do that?

Oh my gosh? Yea, that's messed up in the worst way. This goes back to the "white people can only relate to white characters" topic and serves as an excellent example of it. Although it's a hasty generalization, it's prevalent everywhere in fandoms, especially regarding the person you're talking about.

Often enough, many white fans lose interest, sympathy, and admiration for characters the moment they find out they're black and/or brown. I mean, look at how Zoe's Selina was treated; she was masculinized and excluded by the fandom in any way possible-- regardless of malicious intention or not. As I said in my first post, people like this make it so abundantly clear that they don't care for those who don't look like them, yet "in a totally not racist way." They'll create headcannons and fluffy fanfics for a white psychopath before they even consider glancing at a poc, and all because "they can't see themselves in a character like that."

I've heard many good things about Batman: Unburied, and although I haven't gotten to listening to it yet, I can't be surprised that stuff like that has happened.

continuing to read Worth the Candle, circa ch43.

this continues to clear the bar of being an actually interesting litrpg isekai and also (sigh) ratfic, which I didn't realise at first, but i saw an article on the author's blog which named it as such - which mostly seemed to mean 'fiction which spends a lot of words on thought processes' - but now a little of that bayesian stank is getting in there. but nevertheless, well first it's About Grief in a way that's written in a way that feels raw and genuine enough that it resonates; chapter 42 in which are shown how the protagonist went to pieces has some particular insights on what it's like, thinking particularly of

Looking back, I have to wonder how much of Reimer being a dick to me was just him trying to process the grief in his own way, in the same way that I started to lash out at pretty much everyone around me for every little slight, or anything that could possibly be interpreted as disrespect to Arthur. I was his best friend, and he was mine, that was how I saw myself after his death, and I applied as much paint to our relationship as possible, until it was sometimes hard to remember that I’d been anything but a perfect friend.

and it makes me think like. i wasn't one of Fall's closest friends by any means, indeed for most of this year she wasn't speaking to me for complicated psychosis reasons, and although we'd started to rebuild things at the end and i was really looking forward to spending more time with her, the huge public show of grief I made - it was genuine, but i was certainly partly grieving that i hadn't done a better job of being "Fall's friend" when she was alive.

and second is the author has clearly spent many years reading the same sorts of D&D board I grew up on, so the metafiction aspect builds on a familiar suite of concepts and is thus quite compelling. the author's game design digressions are on point.

and third, or I guess continuation of second, I'm in a very well run D&D game at the moment which is like, highlight of every week no question, so it's on the brain. this is unapologetically a self insert story, but that results in the author/MC's D&D games and the thought and passion he puts into them ringing very true.

it's way longer than it needs to be, I think, and puts little attention on prose styling - it's perfectly serviceable, and does have a recognisable voice, but mostly just 'gets the job done'. the ratfic angle means a great deal of time is spent analysing, planning and deliberating in enormous detail, which doesn't stop people whining in the comments.

but the virtue its prose does have is that it's frictionless. I'm like a little under a fifth of the way in, which means I've read about a sizable novel already, but it really doesn't feel like it.

speaking of which, I've never seen a more condescending set of AO3 commentators. it seems like litrpg attracts a certain kind of reader who isn't shy about saying they think the MC is unbearably stupid, and then backseating the writing in general and the character's build decisions, which seems an absurd thing to get hung up on.

the way this kind of thing works, you've got the small scale series of arcs - 'how will the character solve this problem' - and the longer mystery arc - 'what is revealed about the System underlying it all' - but all of that is just kind of arbitrary really, because what it's really about is the gradual unfolding of theme and character.

why does Juniper have to fight a unicorn? because his reasons for designing 'unicorn as possessive, controlling man with timeline alteration' gives insight into his relationship with Tiff, and more generally serves as an illustrative example of the reasons we play D&D and write fiction. because that's one of the things the story is quite overtly talking about. oh, but you'd better write another post about how the protagonist is unsympathetic because he didn't put a point in luck lmao

anyway i think this is kind of what Baru Cormorant might look like if Seth was less ambitious and of course a less ruthlessly demanding editor. this might seem like an odd comparison because Seth's prose is punchy, poetic and rich with information and Baru is a grand epic about imperialism etc. with a highly driven protagonist, while the characters in WtC spend most of their time trying to solve the problems their last adventure caused and it's a more personal story. but the reason I draw it is that both wear their themes on their sleeves, both seem to be written by caring and passionate people with 'approximate knowledge of many things', both are shaped by desires to write fiction which approaches character in a certain way, both prefer to communicate directly rather than dissemble through subtext and implication... maybe it's just that the image of each author i receive through the text is someone i think i can understand.

Do you have any irl people that serve as inspiration for how your ocs physically look? Are any of them based on how someone looks in real life.

Okay. So. Jacqueline. 100%. Was a self insert OC. I am NOT afraid to admit that, and when I say "she is me I am she" I am NOT even joking. (But also I am not delusional lmao, I knwo we're not the SAME PERSON). So I guess Jacqueline SORTA looks like me????? It's funny, she's the ONE CHARACTER IN MY HEAD THAT I DO NOT HAVE A VERY CLEAR IDEA OF HOW SHE LOOKS BC I GO RIGHT. ME. SHE ME. Then I go ANYWAY and sip my iced cappuccino filled with chocolate milk and move on and try not to think too much about it, lol.

Blaise has some inspiration from my partner in crime, the fiance himself, Richard! He gets the shoulders and hair that goes UP from Richard. He's just a bit more square but even then, Richard's main shape I'd say is square. I insist that he doesn't though because it bothers Richard but I am a LIAR. Blaise has Richard vibes and that was on purpose.

But yeah, aside from that, no! Nobody else in CS has looks they share with IRL people I know. When I was 11/12 and making the Frosts, I was like "I'll just use my mom and dad and siblings!" but that was just not feasible bc I couldn't reconcile how they acted (bad) with how the Frosts would act (good), so that idea never flew. My Mom and Dad are just okay at best, Blinter tho? Blinter???? They are ROCK STARS and I want EVERYONE to NEVER FORGET IT

Their relationship is 50% based on me and Richard, and the other 50% is Gomez and Morticia from the 1964 series, mainly :)

Midnight, one of the Time Keepers, was 100% based on my best friend back at home in looks! But aside from those little bits and pieces, most of the cast of CS does not resemble people I know IRL.

So I have 0 thoughts on cast for live action. BUT. CAST FOR ANIMATED SERIES? I HAVE MANY THOUGHTS.

Mark Hamil would be Blaise! I think he could pull it off, man's got the RANGE and Blaise has a very specific voice in my head! For Winter, the closest I could get is Emma Thompson with how she sounds in my head. Jacqueline stole my voice, so we've got that going for us! I'd straight up fight any potential Jacqueline actors, I'd be like THERE CAN ONLY BE O N E (me). Besides, most creators of animated shows do one or two voices, so you BET I'd cash in on that >:)

Twins, I've got zero idea who'd voice them. Obvi, Marty is Jack and you can't just replace talent like that ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

And Pyros, lmao, I think it'd be funny if Jeff Goldblum voiced him >:). I like the thought. No I will not elaborate (I simply, cannot!)

Ana has some gr8 ideas for Elle if I remember correctly (Zendaya?!?!?!?!) But in my head, Elle sounds like Ana 🙃🙃🙃🙃.

UNFORTUNATELY that's about as far as I've gotten! I also briefly thought Meryl Streep as Winter, but Emme Thompson sounds sooo much closer to Winter in my head that she beat Meryl, the absolute legend.

For the rest of CS characters, I'd want the most UNHINGED VAs possible. The most chaotic actors you can imagine. Feels good, feels right.

OH I'd also replace Scott with Tom Hanks, because A) I like him and B) Tom Hanks (Woody) yelling YOU ARE A TOY and shoving Tim Allen (Buzz) off a roof is a very funny mental image that makes me feel better in the worst of times! :D

experience in RP — As far as memory serves, I have 10 years of RP experience under my belt. First started on Fa.cebook with an OC I've long forgotten due to it being a self insert, but eventually settled into tumblr when I discovered the website because of meme reposts. I did not know an RPC existed on here until two years in that the community was super active at that time. Went from FN.AF muses, Stev.en Uni.verse briefly, did Por.tal 2 muses for a few months, then got stuck with MS.A muses and CO.TL canon and OC muses to make up my whole history on here. I know my way to adapt to villain and hero personalities, and have years of character study with different personalities to know my way of getting the right nudge of perfecting a character personality.

Would that be enough to say I have a passion for a my craft? That's up for you to debate lmao.

best experiences — I vaguely remember getting my entire dashboard to go into a cursing (saying fuck) frenzy for a few hours when I was posting crack commentary with a few people I don't write with anymore. The RPC for MS.A was still pretty big and active back then in 2018, so when I followed a ton of those blogs, everyone kinda knew everyone; and thats where it started. I think it even went to non MS.A blogs too, but I won't too sure since I wasn't paying attention at that point.

pet peeves/dealbreakers — In general breaking boundaries one will set for their own well being. Yet another thing that turns me way off is not being matched with the same amount of enthusiasm I may have with interacting with someone. I do try my best to interact as much as possible, but it does put a damper on ones mood when the person at the end of me reaching out doesn't really reciprocate my interested energies. Yeah, irl stuff often comes first and whatnot, but if we haven't interacted during the first few months of following each other? I'll just unfollow and softblock, just to save myself my wasted time.

Sometimes people don't click and that's okay. It still sucks, but ya gotta move on with life though.

muse preference ( fluff, angst, smut ) — i don't really have a preference, as I'm normally fine with whatever my rp buds may want to throw at me. Smut I may be semi-selective with, but its not off the table if I know you and your muse enough if that's something you're interested in. I'm still outta practice when it comes to that one, but in general I like to put my muses in situations and just let them react to it. Sometimes you can get the best threads (as long you guys got the base idea plotted out) with spontaneous works.

plot or memes — Got a preference for memes as icebreakers, but plotting does get that foot in the door as well. I like the icebreakers just to let people or myself put themselves out there because it gives people a chance to interact without the pressure of having to write someone out in major detail. But I do also prefer plotting with a loose guideline when me and my RP partner can be confident enough around each other with what we both may want out of an rp thread.

long or short replies — depends on my mood and how much energy/time i have to spare! typically though, i write longer replies; i like to give lots of detail and really set the mood with my posts. it doesn't super matter to me how much my partner writes tho, i kinda just do my own thing regardless...but shorter stuff has its perks, too. so i guess i can go either way!

best time to write —Whatever my muses is feeling tbh. I do not control how my muse energy works, but I do know I am the type of putting all my moves into one big attack and then having to rest for the rest of a gaming match sorta deal. Replies take a lot out of me and I have only a limited amount of spoons when it comes to it. I let my muse guide me and help keep them track on the way so it doesn't derail the entire thread.

are you like your muse?: I mean,,,,, They ARE a self insert I created for my own enjoyment and control fantasy, but I will say I do strictly follow the mun=/=muse rules; while my muse may be a murder and cannibalistic with a colony of followers who would die for them, I do not reflect my character. Anything that happens in fiction stays in fiction. I like my character because they help with the confidence boost, but I still keep them at a distance when it comes to "am I like my muse?" questions. I love them to pieces though as any OC creator is with their baby. Just gotta remember that if I ever met them irl I would run for the hills lmao.

though you really shouldn't focus too much on the "apocalypse" aspect. it's more like. zombies. except super chill. like MC takes her ex(?)gf to her house and that's about the extent of zombie stuff that we get to see (besides a small news interlude between each major part). it is literally the weakest most senseless worldbuilding ever but it serves my purposes so it's fine akskdjdja

basically the core idea of the entire play is trying to represent anxiety? there is a lot of tense buildup that ends in nothing, spotlight focusing on minor stuff when the actual important main part is taking place somewhere else, lots of overlapping voices etc etc (theater is the ideal medium for that imo bc you can play with all the senses and it's much easier to build an atmosphere).

so *before* the apocalypse the goal is to show how you (or well I in this case lol) deal with tragedies that are far away. like news.

and the second part (the zombies) is how you deal with insane shit when it directly affects you. the MC is the only one who is panicked about the whole thing while everyone else is only focused in interpersonal drama so that makes it feel very.....casual?

oh yeah we'll see who is faster muahaha

We love Lyanna as an extension to Jon and Arya. It makes sense. We are Dany, Jon and Arya stans first and R/L shippers second and it will always be that way. We know that Rhaegar and Lyanna are minor characters who serve as the plot devices to further the main characters’ plot.

You cultists, however, just.... "love Elia and the kids". NORMALLY (as I suppose it's for the "normal" Dorne stans), one should like Elia as an extension of Dornish characters. But CULTISTS don't. For you, the Dornish characters of actual importance are sidelined and used to Elia's extension instead, every single Dornish character to prop her up, from Ashara sacrificing her daughter for the sake of Aegon, to Elia Sand killing a dragon. Elia Sand has a better characterization than the og one and yet… (all you care about Oberyn and Doran is quotes about Elia, Quentyn and Arianne don't think of her so they're forgotten). So it's as incomprehensible as can be.

Creating cute headcanons once in a while is super fun but ignoring 99,99% of the series in favor of a dead toddler every. single. day?? Do you even enjoy the series if all you do is fangirl over your own made up headcanons?

I am taking a class on life writing right now and we learned about this thing called "the autobiographical pact" that basically claims that something is only an autobiography when it is explicitly stated so or when the protagonist's name is the name of the author, and it is suuuper interesting to think about in regards to Taylor's discography. Up until folkmore (with the exception of debut and some tracks on other albums) she kind of always made clear that her songs were about stuff that happened to her ("these songs were once about my life" etc.), so it was fair to assume that the protagonist of her songs was always herself. And that's what makes folkmore different, and, as a result, is why folkmore is more "fiction" than any of her other albums. It's strange to me that people take that to mean that the emotions in the songs CANNOT BE Taylor's or based on her experiences when a lot of writing is based on what fascinates us or serves as a way of working through something. My personal theory is that a lot of folkmore is inspired by her rerecording her discography. But at the end of the day: We don't know how much of Taylor is in these songs so everything is speculation and she has the ultimate authority over whether or not she wants to insert her real self into the stories. And if she doesn't, then technically, none of the songs that are written from somebody's perspective are about her. This is not me Disagreeing with you because there is no Right or Wrong, I just think Taylor's writing in terms of autobiographical writing etc. is so interesting. And like... She can always "lie" (i don't think anything that is depicted as A Story in folklore is genuinely autobiographical) about that stuff (see: Cherry by Nico Walker that is like... his life story but is called a "novel") for protection of privacy or more creative freedom and that's fine and she deserves that, especially considering how she has hinted at feeling trapped or limited by her diaristic writing.

i suppose what i meant to say with that post is that i never found myself thinking of the folklore trio the same way i think about dorothea/ttds or even seven or tolerate it and it's interesting cause i think it's above all a reflection of my own experiences and how i relate to these songs - betty in particular felt like being immediately transported to my high school gym counting the minutes to the end of class. like i get so stuck in my head with the way i see these songs, and while i'll be the first one to say they're definitely up to interpretation and moreover, i personally think they were written vaguely on purpose, i still relate some of these emotions to my own experiences so, so easily i end up forgetting My Experiences Are Not Universal lmao

i think that taylor kind of backed herself into a corner cause the confessional writing and the real life easter eggs (ex the scarf) became such an essential part of her branding and how fans relate to her music and regardless of Truthfulness - it's a very effective way to make her music more. interactive i guess? the moment it's a mystery it generates more talk (again - regardless of how many of the stories hinted at are true or Pure PR or whatever in the middle) and i'm really glad she found freedom in calling everlore fictional - whatever that is the source of the sadness expressed in these albums, she gets to mourn it alone, without making her own life the center of the conversation around these albums.

i've talked about this a couple of times before but i'm really bothered by the notion in fandom that saying taylor isn't being 120% honest about something is calling her a Liar==bad==snake or whatever bc i think there's nothing wrong with lying about your personal life when they're on display like this, i think it's more respectful as fans to allow her this maneuvering space, if anything demanding the truth from her is much more disrespectful imho

anyways back to your point: that is so interesting about the autobiographical pact and honestly it is really so strange that there's this need to look at her songs through a pure fiction/100% autobiographical dichotomy i mean art has to come from somewhere. i think there's this kind of simplistic way of thinking sometimes in fandom and sometimes it can be kind of limiting and might make people miss some depth and that's a shame. it's also particularly strange/interesting to see which songs people just decided were real and which were honest based on our perception of her rl and it's certainly something i fell to a lot. but i also think the folklore is just soooo heavy with this sense of nostalgia (it's what i mean about the album being full of mourning) that it's hard to for me not to see it as far more personal than evermore, that feels much more fairytale-y - but is still probably an expression of real emotions and things she finds interesting
