Inspired both by the recent solar eclipse and this post by @otiksimr, an art piece I’ve never been prouder of, my WoF oc Sunkiller!
Born under a total solar eclipse (ask me about my temperature-based nightwing hatching headcanons. and also my headcanons about how sunlight affects nightwings.) and blessed with the ability of perfect knowledge of the past, or at least the past where dragons exist. This of course makes her an invaluable resource to historians everywhere, which she is absolutely sick of, and so has gotten very adept at the hermit lifestyle. For pity’s sake, you solve ONE cold case murder as a hatchling, and suddenly EVERYBODY wants your attention…
(if tui has declared anything canon about nightwings and solar eclipses, like she has for blood moons, which are lunar eclipses, i haven’t seen it)

Hmm... thinking about when the team has been split up for an extended period of time for whatever reason, and when they get back together, they're all vaguely aware of where most of them were in that time/what they were up to. Except one, no one knows with them. And they're being a bit cagey about it maybe, and sometimes the rest of the team sees them flinch at quick movements, or caught them having nightmares or avoiding sleeping at all... and slowly, they begin to piece together that the character's been hurt. One of their own has been hurt, and they weren't there to help, or stop it, or look after them.

loving reminder as someone who struggles with food: you are allowed to add joy to your food. you are allowed to add a little joy even if it’s a tiny thing, something silly or something weird. you are allowed to do it whenever you want, as many times as you want. anything that makes food easier and more enjoyable for you is worth it!! it’s your food, you can decide what to do with it!! you can add rainbow sprinkles to your ice cream. you can cut your food into little heart shapes. you can pack your snacks into cute little bento boxes. it is not pointless or childish, it is an effective and active coping tool that you are allowed to use.
give yourself a little joy. the little things add up.

Okay, I have something to say.
I remember a few weeks ago there was discourse about the topic of Day getting his eyesight back. There were a lot of people against it (me included) and people not against it.
Among all of that, I saw tweets from disabled people but the one that stayed the most with me was one from someone who's blind, and they were mad that people were so against the idea of him getting his eyesight back and I wondered "Why is that?" because I thought it would be better to show Day could be happy without it.
Then I saw that this person said they were mad because if they had the opportunity to get their own sight back they would take it and then I understood. Up until that point, we hadn't really gotten to the episodes where Day was starting to accept and realize he could live a good life even if he was blind.
After seeing those tweets, I started to think "If Day undergoes surgery and if it's successful at the end, I won't be mad as long as they show us that he can be happy and successful while being blind." And they did show us that.
And today, when I started having certain opinions on the ending, I remembered this person and I thought "Day being able to see again doesn't erase all he went through, it doesn't erase the person he became after living with his blindness and it never will." People find hope in different things.
I understood I should not, I should never speak above those who are actually going through this. I don't know how it is like, and I will never understand unless it happens to me. What I think about that doesn't matter.
We can talk about the story, sure. But in this case we can't talk above disabled people, not our place. There will be many different opinions, and we should respect them.

The biggest injustice on the whole of this hellsite is that when I type "night" search for @nightgoodomens she is the second blog to come up. NOT THE FIRST THE SECOND.
I'm sorry but if you search for someone using the main word of their blog they should appear first THEY ARE EVEN ALPHABETICALLY BEFORE THE ONE THAT COMES FIRST

I thought Kim's portrait looking a little like the Rising Moon Hanafuda card was just a neat coincidence but I actually like the idea of Kim symbolising a moonrise instead of a sunrise. the Sun is the brightest star in the sky and when it's gone the Moon keeps reflecting its light. what if (if you play him as a huge communard) Harry dies just like Mazov and Kim becomes the "echo maker", the one who spreads his message
