#so in Season 2 at the very least they’re dubious allies

Sometimes (not often and not referring to the proxy versions bc that’s its own thing), I’ll see someone call Masky and/or Hoody a killer and I sit there like. But they aren’t though. They tried to kill one (1) guy and technically Tim did later but that was purely self defense.
Their actual crimes ARE attempted murder, breaking and entering, theft(?), assault, and stalking, with maybe a few more, but 80% of the murders were caused by Alex. You can lump Tim’s kill count with Masky if you want (which brings him dubiously up to 2 if you count Hoody falling) but Hoody has a kill count of exactly zero.
They ARE very intimidating figures and highly important to the story but I definitely wouldn’t label them as killers!

aren't they devaluing team free will tho? jack just come and suddenly it's family and team free will 0.2, now this pushing of gabriel as part of it too, it's just a mock, so now anyone can be tfw even if they didn't anything to earn it, team free will don't exist anymore it's just a joke
I’m sorry this is rubbing you the wrong way. The way I have always seen it is that Dean calls them “Team Free Will” in 5x13 extremely bitterly and miserably. The sense that they aren’t going to win, and they aren’t enough to defeat Michael, at the beginning of his downward spiral where he will be beaten up enough to attempt to say yes to being his vessel. The term then wasn’t used again for 7 years, and even though it got a great fanon following used UNIRONICALLY, and NOT how Dean originally used it, to celebrate the fact that they HAD won and defeated Michael, the symbolism within the show vs the way fanon took it was always a bit wonky.
The actual composition of Team Free Will as a victorious unit can and should stretch to cover Bobby, who was there helping at the true victory at Stull, and Crowley who did his part and was one of their most useful allies in the last few episodes of the season; once he was on their side they ticked off the last few rings very quickly.
And Gabriel’s speech in 5x19, no matter how he may have been faking it so as not to actually die, but just to shake Lucifer up, was earnestly on the side of the underdog once he FINALLY made his stand, and that stand was in line with the principles of Team Free Will, and he himself over his 2 episodes in season 5 learned to stop just trying to make the script play out - a very similar nihilism about it as Raphael had - and to stand up for humanity. Like it or not, he is one of the only other characters that season to firmly end up on the side of “free will” over picking either Michael or Lucifer. And that was awesome before he came back and I thought he was a brilliant character.
Being what I consider a mostly to somewhat old school apocalypse era spn fan (that is, I was watching in total isolation from the start so my dates don’t line up to fandom or American viewing until season 7 onwards, but at least I was up to date on the show by season 6 :P) I had a brief moment of bleeh about his return, and then 13x20 and 13x20 won me over, so, fuck it, I’m a current, up to date Gabriel fan now :P We can look back on it that whether he would have been more useful helping them at their side or not, he was still the catalyst for them even having an idea of what they were meant to do, so that Crowley could start helping them, so that Cas, Bobby, Sam and Dean, the core of the real happy positive version of Team Free Will as a family, could defeat Michael and Lucifer. At this point I am firmly in camp “it’s season 13, whatever, they can do what the fuck they want as long as it’s enjoyable and makes some sense” when it comes to Gabriel.
But, yeah. In season 12 they began foreshadowing the return of Michael to the narrative, and one of those things was having Dean say “Team Free Will” to Cas as the way to express what Cas with all his history as Dean’s friend/brother/husband meant to him and all they’d been through, and the easiest way for Dean to come up with a term that covers the name of his real core family that is the Sam Cas Bobby Dean family. With Bobby dead, it’s just the 3 of them, but that’s still a hugely important distinction to make, that there’s a version of the family where Cas is core, on the same level as Sam is to Dean.
(Which, if you read my watching notes for 13x21, is like how Rowena makes a metacommentary comment about the BM scene Sam, Dean and Cas are having together in the other room while she and Gabriel hook up, because it uses all the terminology we and the show uses to refer to the SalmonDean BM scenes to cover what TFW are doing, which is a wonderful way to indicate that the BM scene is no longer a Sam and Dean exclusive trope, and you KNOW Cas has been joining in on them since ever, but now it’s making it clear that when there’s a TFW BM scene in ANY configuration of Sam and Dean, Dean and Cas, Cas and Sam, that is an official trademarked Supernatural Brotherly Moment Scene, and the ™ doesn’t belong to ONLY Sam and Dean any more.)
And… I don’t know, it depends on where you are about Jack in a meta way, but on a character level way, Jack was hugely meaningful to Cas even before he was born, and once he was born, as ridiculous as you might find the concept of a satan babby plot, on the character level, and on the emotional level, Jack means a LOT to Cas, and the first episode is all about how Jack identifies Cas as his father, rather than Lucifer, and 21 episodes into the season now, it’s clear that Jack has a lot of good in his nougat centre, and his love for TFW is obvious not just for Cas, but that he reacts like that to Sam’s death, and that he has latched onto Mary, too. A blood relative and core of the family, first character to appear on screen in the entire show, now she is back, whatever you feel, again, on any meta level about her return, portrayal, or usage by the writers, she’s of critical emotional importance to Sam and Dean, because she’s MARY, emotional backbone of the show whether you like it or not. And she loves her boys, came to love Cas over season 12, and now she and Jack have bonded to the point of getting Jesus and Mother Mary inverse symbolism to show that she means as much to Jack as Mother Mary as she did to the boys (and the text thank GOD finally called out “Mother Mary” as a concept in 12x12). So if she’s around, she too will be at the core of the family.
Sam’s choice of dinner table family is his brother, his other brother/brother in law, the son he and his brothers have adopted and considers all of them his father, his own mother, and she of course has her own emotional link to Jack that Sam didn’t even know about for sure at that point, but despite being a missing link to him, is one we can fill in, and he could at least have hoped that knowing they were together and fighting together from Charlie’s report, would give him hope (rightly) that this is a true, loving set up his family could have one day.
Gabriel was NOT at his dinner table, and he blurs a line between “powerful allies” as the recap says, lumped in with Rowena, who fills a spot Crowley ended up having in their list of allies, who is treacherous and you may still want to kill her like, yesterday, but then the next day you might want to fight and die alongside her, and hope she does the same. Gabriel from 5x19 was in that exact same dubious spot. But as Sam points out, he’s uncle to Jack and that’s a blood tie which the show might not value as much as found family, but it sure is a good reason to START to care and form bonds. Technically Jack isn’t “blood” family to Mary, but then if in a normal muggle family, if your son in law adopted a boy you would still consider him fast, good-as-blood family if you LIKED him and were in Mary’s position. Same as Gabriel discovering he’s an uncle. He has the chance to get in on this family in the weird sense that they’ve all bonded so much to the point of close family, that he’s now Dean and Sam’s brother’s brother, uncle to their son, etc etc. He might be more estranged, and in 13x20 they certainly - Dean especially - pushed him hard to explain himself and learn if they cared or not. But Gabriel passed the test and by the time they’re in the AU Dean would at least trust him to fight alongside them and really earn brother in arms at last, wary family member at least by ties, if not by full undying trust.
Like, none of what’s going on there is weird on a character, emotional level in the sense that they’re at least giving Gabriel a chance to come with them.
I don’t think anyone said “Team Free Will” re: Gabriel so again we’re stretching a fanon term onto him, in the sense that until someone says it for sure, the only new addition to TFW since season 5 is Jack, and that is because Dean’s using TFW as a family term to cover himself, Sam and Cas, and now Jack is TFW by inheritance, as Cas’s son, like, to lack any other surname, this is what you’d put on their driving license if you don’t want to stretch Winchester onto them. I know a lot of fanon since ever has put Gabriel in TFW to balance Sam having an angel in Sabriel dynamics, or just because they like him and he did die for them in 5x19 etc etc as I covered, so if he were alive again people instantly want him to join. I think 13x20 made it clear Dean’s still somewhat holding Gabriel at an arms length before declaring him found family, but he’s at least through several thresholds already, I think TFW is still a closed door to him in terms of how the show has used its language to define him. The closest tie they’ve offered him so far in season 13 is his protestation he helped them in 5x19, and Sam saying they all need Gabriel in 13x18, and reminding him that he’s Jack’s uncle, which is still a large step removed from putting him in the core family unit.
I think next episode, which is Buckleming, will either wreck this or shake things up or make some more of these connections anvil heavy clear, but at least before they get their grubby mitts on writing at least 11 main named characters all in the same location all at once (I just counted on my fingers, not a randomly chosen number. Ouch.) while trying to deal with the Jack and Lucifer dynamic and everything else they’ve piled up into one spot, this is how I see it all standing, and the dynamics and connections that they’ve built up.
I don’t think it’s a bad thing to have an ensemble cast, and I do think the term TFW has always been more flexible than the original use, in fanon terms, and in terms of if you were ever going to use it positively, it would cover any and all major characters involved in a fight for free will. Which means 10 of those 11 characters may end up in TFW if Buckleming really go wild with it and let like, Lucifer and Ketch and Charlie and AUBobby and so on into it along with Gabriel, Mary and Jack, for the sake of fighting Michael. Which at that point come back to me with the same complaint and I’d probably agree more but specifically about Buckleming being awful :P At the moment I think it’s well-balanced and the characterisation and levels of invested emotion in each dynamic make good sense, and therefore I’m not particularly worried about the emotional integrity of the phrase Team Free Will… At least for 4 more days :D

As Wild as Fire: Chapter 2
As Wild as Fire
A canon-divergent parallel of the events of the season 7 infused with lots of Jonsa smuttiness. Lot’s of filthy, rough, incestuous sex. You’ve been warned.
Rating: Explicit
Words: 1.6k
In this chapter Jon burns a Valerian candle that allows him to dreamwalk.
Changed my mind! I am making this a canon-divergent MC following what I wish was happening in between scenes.
Now, I have made the incredibly painful decision to attempt to keep this as close to canon as possible for as long as possible. And that means *sigh* including a bit of the Jonerys element in the plot. Don’t worry. This will always be a Jonsa fic as Jonerys makes me want to throw up in my mouth, but I have no doubt it will be a factor throughout the series because she wants him so bad and it’s so sad cause he’s like #niceboobsbutnotinterested. Anyway if you feel your anti-ship senses tingling just trust me that I will not let you down. Jonerys makes me want to vomit. I wouldn’t be physically capable of writing them, even if I wanted to. Just give it a chance.
WARNING: This fic contains explicit sexual content including rough sex, incest, and incest, and incest and incest and incest.
You can also read this fic on ff.net and Ao3.
Chapter 2: A Place of Prayer
Under a cloudy sky, Jon Snow walked silently through the godswood at Winterfell. Snowflakes danced beautifully through the air and the cold was crisp like a harvest apple. He was thinking about Sansa, with her long scarlet mane and creamy white skin. Then, as if in response to his thoughts, she was standing there before him in a striking dress of direwolf grey. As he approached the Weirwood tree she saw him.
“You’re back.” she stated, disbelief on her face.
“No,” he said, after thinking for a moment. He had yet to return to Winterfell. After the inspecting the caves with Daenerys he had fallen asleep in his room after lighting some strange candles he’d found in a cupboard.
Sansa’s face fell, “You’re still at Dragonstone.”
Solemnly he nodded.
Her expression turned hard, “Staying for the climate?”
He didn’t respond.
“she’s not letting you leave, is she?”
“I know.” he said, “You told me not to come.”
“No, Jon, everyone told you not to go but you didn’t listen. You never listen!”
He winced. He still wanted to strangle her when she whined like that.
She huffed, “Well, is this dragon queen as amiable as you hoped she would be? Is she going to take a break from raising cities to the ground and help humanity wage war against the threat from beyond the Wall?”
Jon looked down at the ground guiltily. He muttered, “She’s not so bad.”
When he looked up his sister was looking at him with a baffled expression, “Who?”
“Daenerys.” he sniffed, “Her people really seem to love her.”
Sansa’s eyes went wide with fury, “Of course they do! They were considered property until she liberated them. Serving her is the only life they’ve ever known. They’re not her loyal subjects, they’re sycophants.”
He shook his head, “No. You’re wrong, she’s not like her father.”
Jon watched as Sansa dubious look melted into a knowing smirk. His heart sped up. When had she grown so bold? And why did he find it so attractive. “You like her.” she teased with a twinkle in her eye.
“No, I don’t.” Jon snapped.
“Yes, you do.” Sansa began to slowly walk towards him with a predatory look in her eye, “Do you like her more than me, big brother?” She laughed spitefully, “It’s alright, you can tell me. I hear she’s very beautiful.” Jon instinctively backed away. She looked like she wanted to eat him alive.
“Sansa, I don’t think you realize this but if she’s not our ally, she’s our enemy. And we have enough of those as it is.”
Her expression turned from amused to stormy, making his stomach drop. “Someone once told me to imagine every possible outcome to every single decision I make. They said that if I lived that way nothing would surprise me. Do you know what wouldn’t surprise me?”
Warily, Jon shook his head.
“If Daenerys of House Targaryen realized the importance of the North and accepted the stubborness of it’s ruler.”
“Why would she do that?”
Sansa sighed, “She’s going to ask you to marry her.”
Jon balked, “What?!”
“Maybe not today. Maybe not before you eave Dragonstone. But when she’s conquered six kingdoms and is facing another war with the North, after you’ve worked together to bring back the dawn and save the world from eternal darkness and she’s gotten a good look at that pretty face of yours, she’ll realize the only way to avoid killing you will be to marry you.”
“Would that be so terrible?! She’s foolish and arrogant and hungry for blood, but I’m not. I don’t want my people to die. I don’t want you to die. If I can free the North without putting you or anyone else in harms way I should do it.”
“She can’t harm me.”
“She has three dragons, Sansa. But let’s say I do fight. What do you think she’ll have learned from this experience? She got Tyrion advising her, what do you think he’ll tell her to do about us? As long as there is a Stark alive in the world the North will belong to no one else. She’ll rip us out, root and stem, and she’ll start with the Lady of Winterfell.” He at her, pleading in his eyes. This was hard enough as it was. “If marrying this hotheaded child is what it takes to keep her from--” he let out a breath and collected himself. Taking her face in his hands he begged, “I will not watch you burn. Do you hear me? I can’t give you what you want but--” he sighed, looking into her eyes, “I care about you more than anyone or anything in this world. If I do this, it will be to save your life.”
She smiled, and it broke his hard. All he wanted was for her to feel happy and safe. He knew that the reason she was doing this was because he was the only one that made her feel that way.
Sansa tilted her head and leaned forward but he backed of reach towards the tree. “Sansa, I told you, we can’t do that again!” he said as his back hit the hard white wood of the sacred tree.
“Why not?”
“Because it’s wrong! How can it not disgust you?!”
She used her lithe body to press him up against the tree trunk. He could feel her curves beneath her beautiful dress. She brushed her nose against his, her lips tantalisingly close. “Did you like being inside your sister? You certainly fucked her like you did.”
Jon felt dizzy. She was right, and he wanted to take her and defile her for making him feel such sick urges. He grabbed her and kissed her hard. It felt amazing. The most exhilarating feeling in the world. She was his. Bound by blood. How could it be wrong for them to give each other pleasure.
Then he tore himself away, “No.” It was painful saying the word. He wanted her so badly he felt like he would burst.
“I’ll never touch another man again. You’re my brother. You have take care of me.”
Finally, he couldn’t stand it anymore. Her logic was wrong, so wrong, but he wanted to believe it. Every woman should be made love to. Why couldn’t he do that for her?”
With a gasping breath he slammed her against the tree and, while kissing furiously, fought to gather the hem of her dress and wrap her legs around him. She undid his trouser and pulled out his cock.
In a breathy voice, Sansa said in between ravenous kisses, “Your Grace, I have come to confess my sins in front of the gods. I love my brother. All day I think about my brother’s cock and it makes me soak my thighs and--”
He cut her off with a kiss and said, “As your brother, and your king, it is my duty to punish you for your crimes, Lady Stark.” Then he thrust into her as deep as he good. She cried out, and for a moment he thought he’d hurt her from the way moaned and whimpered and panted breath. But she smiled and untied her dress revealing her perfect body.
She whispered passionately into his ear, “Fuck me you fucking bastard. “He kissed her and fucked her hard. Perhaps if he was rough enough she would stop this nonsense, or at least that’s what he told himself. His kisses were less deceiving. He wanted to devour her. It felt incredible to be inside of her. And right. So right. When she clenched around him he wanted to scream with arousal. The of her ecstasy soaked cry made him come with so hard he nearly tore off the left cheek of her ass he gripped it so tight.
He stood there, gasping for breath, unwilling to separate their bodies. Then, the weight of what he’d just done settled over him. “Why are you doing this to me, Sansa?”
She looked up into his eyes. Her’s were so blue, like deep lake water. “Don’t marry the dragon queen. And don’t bend to her either. Come home and we’ll rule the North as a family. The rightful family.” Sansa kissed him softly, her lips plump and perfect. “Come back to me, Jon Snow. Don’t leave me all alone.”
JSJSJSJSJSJSJSJSJSJSJS
Jon woke with a start. He looked around. He was in his room at Dragonstone. The image of Sansa’s pleading face was burned into his mind like he had just stared at the sun.
It was more than a dream. It was her. He was sure of it. Every detail was too perfect. His mind couldn’t created something like that. He didn’t know how, but he had gotten one more precious moment the object of his fantasies.
He was in deep. All day and night he thoght of nothing but fucking her. Making her scream. He thought about the way her whole body shook when she came. He couldn’t believe he could make his sweet sister do that. Her innocence had once been a point of immense pride for her. Now her innocence was his.
He got out of bed and washed his face. He needed to leave this place. As soon as he could.

On Shiro’s and Sendak’s similarities (or maybe I’m just seeing double)
Tumblr media
(art by me) ************this is S3 spoiler free************* I haven’t even watched the last trailer yet. warning: long post It always pains me to see how most of the fandom is depicting Sendak as a bossy motherfucker with a short temper acting like a brutal fighter and enjoying non-con relationships. Seriously, have we seen the same show? Ok, Sendak is a villain (with a high potential for a redemption arc, please Dreamworks don’t let me down on this), but that doesn’t automatically make him an horrid asshole.
Yes, Sendak is a nasty opponent but he still has a lot of common points with Shiro and both stand on an equal foot in terms of leadership and fighting abilities (though I think that if Sendak had a less heavy and bothersome prosthetic he’d move better and thus maybe the result wouldn’t be the same, but I have nothing to support this theory). Actually, they have so many similarities they are literally mirroring each other.
First, let’s make a list of things we know about their shared past :
Shiro was detained on Sendak’s ship (along with the Red Lion)
=> Sendak is Zarkon’s first Commander, the emperor trained him personally. Sendak is loyal to death to the Galras (not to Zarkon, let’s double check this*) and trusted. He was given the responsibility to watch over a lion and the should-have-been-their-greatest-weapon-dude (I guess his name was Shiro or something).
They both had the Druids experimenting on them (although Sendak was willing)
=> We know (from his official bio) that Sendak lost his eye and his arm during his time on the frontlines (meaning quite some time ago, since that was before he was promoted in the hierarchy - only low ranks soldiers fight on the frontlines -, it also means Sendak rose up from the very bottom and earned his title through merit just like Shiro who started out as a cadet in the garrison) and volunteered to get a bionic prosthetic. Shiro stated that the Druids took his hand (yeah, hand, makes you wonder how much is actually missing).
Shiro has hallucinations about Sendak
=> Crystal venom is probably my favorite episode so far and it drops so many bombs about them, it’s impossible to think they never talked to each other before. The way Shiro provokes Sendak and the fact he’s getting a reaction from it tends to hint they had this conversation once, but reversed.
So far nobody got under Shiro’s skin like Sendak did (not even Zarkon)
=> Seriously no one else did. This is (flashbacks aside) the only time Shiro panicked for real, like he completely lost his shit. Not Zarkon, not Haggar impersonating him or being stranded on a foreign planet wounded with angry animal on his tracks got him desperate like Sendak did. I know Shiro was hallucinating, but to him it was real and it was probably just a replay of past events (though I can’t prove this yet).
Now a list of their common points:
First in command of their respective boss (aka Zarkon and Allura)
Leadership skills (also charisma)
Lost an arm (opposite of each other)
Were Druids’ toys at some point **
Scar on face
Tacticians (have a good look at Sendak’s last sentries, they’re all half-broken and he managed to pull out a working plan with just 2 guys and 5 nearly out-of-order robots)
Composed demeanor (Sendak is more composed than Shiro tbh)
Matched in terms of fighting abilities, twice a draw (epic fist bump + last blow and in both situations they do have exactly the same stance, still the most epic fight to me)
Dedicated to their cause, never giving up even in desperate situations
Supportive and/or encouraging (Sendak praised Haxus easily)
“Climbing from the bottom to the top” career path (then falling into disgrace)
Both are the strongest around in their own group
(also they like to get lost in space)
(both names starts with an S *ba dum tss!*)
That makes 12 (14), but the core similarity is much more global. It encompasses all of this and is more like the general idea of their characters. Sendak is dark!Shiro in a way. They both have the same role and rank in their respective organisation, the same way of handling stuff coming their way with a seemingly cool and composed attitude, not letting their anger get the best of them.
Sendak broke loose only when Pidge cut his arm off, crushing all hopes of winning and despite this he kept on fighting until he was trapped. Ironically, Sendak was made prisoner and detained on the Castle of Lions just like Shiro had been on his own ship. Reversing position and situation again.
They both are doing the same kind of choices (avoiding a fight if necessary, prioritizing tactics over frontal assault, giving everybody a role and benefiting from other teammate's skills -Sendak is the Commander/fighter/tactician and Haxus is the com tech/hacker/mechanic and their skills don’t overlap- etc..) and handling things in a similar way (they don’t give up, face desperate situation with determination, fight mental battles, etc..). It’s pretty fascinating because they are very different but at the time they’re totally similar.
Another thing that I realized while doing this analysis is that they have exactly the same career path. They started small and proved their worth. Sendak was named first Commander and Shiro is recognized as the best pilot on Earth. Then shit happens (Sendak lose to the Paladins and Shiro is framed for pilot error) and they both fall into disgrace.
Also, I’d like to pinpoint something in order to annihilate brutal-bloodthirsty-fanon-Sendak. During ep.4 (The fall of the Castle of Lions), when Sendak and Haxus are marching on the castle with their damaged sentries and Shiro opposes them, Sendak actually asks Shiro to let them through.
Tumblr media
*then fight starts*
(Kinda dubious dialog out of context… Dirty jokes aside, it could have been foreshadowing for Crystal Venom: Sendak actually got into Shiro’s mind.)
What’s important here is that Sendak had no intention to fight Shiro if it could be avoided. He’s no bloodrager on the loose. He fights when it’s needed, avoid unnecessary troubles and is dedicated to accomplish his mission. Just like, guess who? Yeah, Shiro.
The choice of words is also very interesting. Sendak didn’t ask Shiro to get out of his way or to get down or to go away, he asked him to “stand aside” as in to stay out of the matter, to not butt in, to let him do his work. Maybe I’m stretching this but that’s not exactly what you ask an enemy and when Shiro rejects the option, only then, Sendak goes for the kill. What’s funny is that he didn’t kill him when he had the opportunity later. He didn’t even knock him out, he just tied him (while Lance, who wasn’t considered a threat wasn’t even tied). To me it’s more like the way you treat a former ally (maybe ally is a bit too much).
I really really really hope Sendak is going to get some screen time in S3 and that the veil on their common past is going to be lifted. The character has so much potential and also the ability to drive Shiro insane (not the same insane as Slav tho).
I still might update this at some point with the upcoming seasons.
Hope you enjoyed it!

Notes:
* Actually, the reason I think Sendak’s loyalty is to the Galras rather than to Zarkon comes from his first appearance. His very first quote is : "I fight for the empire. I conquer in the name of Galra. No foe has ever stood in my way and none ever will. Vrepit sa!" Maybe I'm stretching things too far, but to me it could be some sort of foreshadowing of Sendak turning against Zarkon (most likely Lotor) because he goes against the Galras as people. Remember, Ulaz said to the Paladins that Galras supported the empire because it would bring them stability, there was something genuinely desperate and hopeful there (incidentally hope is exactly what Shiro is to Ulaz). After all, their home planet had been destroyed, thus making them homeless too. Also, in S1e1 Zarkon refers to the Alteans as a foul race and that Voltron is rightfully theirs. We know nothing about the “dark history of the Paladins”. Galras probably have a very different opinion on who’s the bad guy. In S1e3, when Haggar asks Zarkon if Sendak can be trusted he doesn't say "yes, he just said he trained him and that only victory or death would stop him. So, I kinda fancy the idea of Sendak having certain aspirations for the empire and turning against whoever fails to reach said aspirations. Be it a Galra prince or whatnot.
And last thing but not least; Zarkon didn’t seem really forgiving regarding defeat/failure (that’s the fastest way to be demoted -cf. Morvok and the Kerberos commander- and in the Galra meritocracy that must means something huge), during S1e3 Sendak himself said: “Emperor Zarkon challenged us to rise from the mud”. That’s a cute way to say atone for failing him, but now that the emperor himself failed… what is Sendak going to do? How is he going to react?
** This is what Sendak is implying by saying: “I see you spent some time with the Druids, they do love to experiment.” Meaning they used the first Commander as a pet project and probably not too long before he set foot on Arus since it’s implied Shiro got his prosthetic just a few days before being released by Ulaz. In any case, it’s less than a year ago meaning that Shiro probably met Sendak equipped with a less advanced prosthetic (or maybe no prosthetic at all). Also, and that’s very interesting, Sendak seems to discover Shiro’s prosthetic during the battle, which means the last time Sendak saw Shiro he still had his organic arm. @ferretfam thank you soooooooooo much for your help @canadarama here you go! Pssst! Sendak’s fans, give me your thoughts on this if you’d like @vrepit-sa @deception-and-disgrace @candyfoxdraws @ograndsovereign
