Ruben Dias x Reader - The Houseguest Part 3/3
Had so much fun with this request!🤣
Summary - A three part series where the reader and family goes on a chaotic holiday with Ruben as their guests.

"You good?" Asked Ruben as he passed you on his way to the bed.
The ceiling in your suite was starting to look quite majestic from where you lay on the floor.
"Yeah I'm good." You said. "The room has finally stopped spinning."
"I mean are you sure you're good sleeping on the floor?" Ruben peaked over the edge of the bed to look at you.
"I like feeling grounded." You smiled.
There had been a bit of vomiting and a bit of plotting to kill your own brother for trapping you on Ruben's uncles boat. But eventually your sea sickness seemed to be tamed.
"Would you like some company?" Ruben asked. He had been so patient with you, holding your hair whilst you emptied you stomach down the toilet drains. He even offered you his shirt to sleep in. Yours was stained in whatever it was you had for lunch.
"If you don't mind girls that smell like vomit." You said.
"I don't mind."
Pillows were thrown from the bed to the floor. Along with the other half of the bed mattress. Ruben pushed it together with yours in order to lay next to you.
"You really should stay away from me Ruben. I'm a mess and I'll make a mess out of you too."
"Good thing my mother taught me how to clean after myself."
You stiffend feeling his hand brace your arm, but relaxed when he only went to cover your exposed arm with his duvet.
"You're a real gentleman." You sighed. Sleep was beginning to appeal to you and the sooner this day ended the sooner you could get off this boat.
"Y/N, can I ask you something?" He said as the two of you lay in the dark.
"Sure."
"That guy out there, with your sister."
"Tomas?"
"Yes him. He isn't really your ex right? That was Bernardo being funny right?"
"If Bernardo ever had jokes like that." You sighed. You felt Ruben shift beside you, turning to look at you.
"So he is your ex. Now together with your sister."
His eyes were big, wide with shock. You didn't realize how bizarre your situation sounded until he put it like that.
"Like my brother said, we're a fucked up family."
It was a natural reaction to run your hand through Rubens hair. It was bunny like and fluffy. You didn't even realize that you were doing it until you felt Rubens hand find your waist under the covers.
"Want to make them jealous?" He said, lips close enough to caress your own.
"Ruben." You smiled. At least he seemed to be into you. But the fact you just lost 2kg vomiting was even off putting to you. So you told him this and he laughed.
"I don't think it takes much to make them jealous though." He said, letting his weight shift onto to you, pressing you down a bit.
"Ruben." You gasped. His lips attached to your neck, sucking the tender skin.
"Trust me." He groaned.
You could hear your heart beat raise as blood rushed to your ears. Ruben was pacing himself though, not being eager in a way that frightened you. But eager enough for you to understand how much he wanted this, how much he wanted you.
Soon night became day and you wondered how you ever got off the boat without having slept with Ruben.
"Baby, I want to go shopping."
"Now?"
Bernardo's girlfriend seemed to have the energy of a toddler. The boat had just docked at Portimão marina and your family was more than ready to get out of the city and back to the villa. Even Bernardo seemed slightly out of it, perhaps exhausted from the lies he's had to put up with. But then again he claims to have found the the love of his life.
"Sure baby, let me just go get the car." He turned to your family and shook his head. "Help me." He mouthed.
You laughed. "You must sleep where you lie brother."
"We'll meet you back at the villa son, have a barbecue before we leave tomorrow." Your dad gestured for everyone to get into his car. Ruben had to stay behind and make sure that his uncles boat got handled properly. You wondered if he'd be back for the barbecue later tonight. He must. It would be your last day together.
"What is that?"
The peaceful breakfast at the villa lasted very shortly.
"What?" You said, mouth full of toast.
"That. What is that?" Anita threw your hair over your your shoulder. Revealing your neck for everyone around the breakfast table to see. There were split reactions.
"Oh meu amor." Your mother said, a bit disappointed with you. "You only just met the boy.
"What?" You said, still oblivious to what they were referring to.
"Dad. I told you she would do this." Anita cried.
"Ruben is a good kid." He said, cutting into his pancakes, wanting to go on about his day.
It wasn't until you caught Tomas glare that you understood that Ruben must have left a really visible mark on your neck, making it look like you two had the time of your life last night.
"Y/N. Have you no shame?" Anita said, spitting crumbs onto the table.
You shrugged. "I just did whatever any wife would do to her soon to be husband."
"Y/N, please." Your mother hissed. There was a gulping sound, followed by Tomas having to dunk his chest not to choke on his breakfast. It was pure chaos. Chaos that you enjoyed.
"Okay, I admit it. I might have over did it this time."
"You think?"
Bernardo brought the steaks for the barbecue that night. Your family had a laugh about his own reflection of the previous day.
"Why can't you just try to be yourself around this girl?" You said.
"Oh please." Anita chuckled. "Nobody likes Bernardo for who he truly is."
"Thank you sis. Love you too."
The night went on but you couldn't stop yourself from asking the aching question, "Where is Ruben?"
"Huh?"
Bernardo and you got a moment to yourself by the grill. With him loading meat onto his plate and you anxiously hanging over his shoulder, wanting answers to your question.
"Where is Ruben?" You repeated, with more confidence this time.
"Oh. Ruben. He went home."
"What?" Somthing within you faltered.
"Yeah, said there was an emergency."
"But..." Your lips trembled and you couldn't help but to feel a terrible sensation of having lost somthing that you just found.
"Oh, wait." Bernardo stopped you from running away and searched for somthing in his pocket.
"A piece of paper." You frowned. The corners were stained with oil from Bernardo's fingers.
"It's from Ruben. He told me to give it to you."
"Oh."
You withdrew to the poolhouse to read it. It was just a note with a phone number written on it, Ruben's phone number. The message he had scribbled down below was of no comfort.
Had a good time meeting you.You know where to find me in Lisbon.
"How cute." You chuckled. No wonder he and Bernardo was such good friends, you thought. They were both...you couldn't come up with a word for it, but it had to do somthing with being foolishly loveable.
"Is that from him?"
You jumped. "Tomas?"
Had he followed you to the poolhouse?
"Is that from him?" He asked, eyes dark in the night. His gaze shifted from your face to the crumbled up note in your hands.
"Y...yes it's from him. It's from Ruben." You hated that you felt like you owed Tomas an explanation.
"It's not like you, you know." He took a step forward, approaching you.
"What isn't like me?" You frowned.
"This." He pointed to the note in your hand. "And that." He said pointing to the sore mark still visible on your neck."
You finally understood what was going on and you couldn't stop smiling because of the way it made you think of Ruben.
"What's so funny?"
"You know, I don't think jealousy suits you very well." You said, he looked pathetic.
"Oh come on Y/N. The guy was cleary out to get into your pants and you let him, just like that."
"Even if I did, how is that any of your business?"
"Y/N. I still care about you. I always will."
"Well can you please care about me a little less and please tell Anita to do the same."
"Y/N please. What must I do to make you understand that I still care about you and only want you to have the best?"
"And by the best you mean not Bernardo's friend Ruben."
"Yes." He sighed as if you finally got his point.
"Hmm, you could take a dive?"
"I could what?" He frowned.
"Take a dive." You smiled and stepped forwards to give him a light shove into the pool.
He returned to the surrface coughing, clothes soaked from top to toe. "Y/N!"
"My bad!" You slipped into the poolhouse, laughing to the point of your stomach hurting.
Ruben leaving early was a shame. But now that you had his number you could always text him.
You: I'd love to meet in Lisbon 😉
Ruben: Great! Just tell me when and I'll be ready for you.
You: Cool. As long as it's not on a boat 😅
Ruben: Don't worry. I have other plans for us.😜
You: Oh, let's hear them then?
Ruben: Hmm.. I'll let your imagination run free instead. Perhaps then you'll be excited to see me.
You: I'm already excited.
Ruben: Yeah?
You: Yeah.
Ruben: Well then, guess I'll see you sooner than later then?
You: Maybe you will.🙈

You: Goodnight Ruben, see you soon.

But that's why it's so fun though. There's definitely the surface level canon story.
It's fun to think, what if? Especially with easter eggs or vague elements showing the tiniest connection to another. Someone had to create that, so maybe they had an idea the viewer would too. If so, then what would the story look like if this connection is canon. Bonus points if it is canon and theres tiny nuggets all over the place. Im looking at you, eldren ring 😘👅. Overall, it expands the story and adds depth, and who doesn't like that. (Trick question: NO ONE)
Lmao YOU KNOW he was waiting!! The pan away shot was so the audience couldn't see the filthy smirk on his face after saying that. Leon is totally a "fun guy" at heart *snaps finger guns*. Definitely loves to crack jokes. It's just given his surroundings and the situation he usually in, it's totally not called for. Especially his type of...humor, which already isn't that funny in a normal environment. Then when he says it, it's a double "Oh hell no." for me, dawg.

Fr I totally understand. I'd feel bad especially since he's trying to lighten the environment, plus I know he hates this more than I do. Replace me with Ashley and all I hear are gunshots, goreish noises, and foreign yelling 24/7...👁👄👁 I'm listening to "Leon's jokes on a 10 hour loop" (some of them). I'd have to scrape up the courage to think of jokes and not hyper fixating on my environment and future death or Leon's back 😉.
I'd either beg Leon for a mercy kill or do it myself. I'm not built for that world. Also if Leon actually said that, he'd get 1 good noodle star, cuz that actually made me laugh.🤡

I love a game with little nuggets that subtly connect to one another to weave an story beneath the common storyline. It just gives you more insight to…well everything! It’s one of my favourites that the game developers are like ‘we’re gonna give long time players a treat and new time players a fun thing to unravel.’
Ngl, Leon would single-handedly give me brain rot so bad that I start doing crappy, half asses one liners.

In all fairness he probs doesn’t think therapy would work out for him at all and also over works himself to the bone. I remember someone saying that the reasons for Leon being jacked as all hell in re4 is so he doesn’t get taken by surprise anymore.
My baby needs a hug but he’d probably be so on edge and alert that I wouldn’t be able to without triggering his fight or flight responses.
I’d get too distracted by Leon’s ass and have a deep debate within myself whether or not it’s be inappropriate to slap it. Also Leon doesn’t skip leg day. He’s got nice thighs, and arms…and back…nice tits…
Leon probably would drink bang energy in means of staying up at night. How he finds out about bang is anyones guess.

I was tipsy the first time I watched the first episode for some context. and tipsy me was more upset about Styles killing poor rats with his teeth than anything else.🤣🤣🤣 it's so dumb but also SO funny to me now.🤣🤣🤣 I adore that scene now! And I do remember thinking Styles was cute because of his grin at Horatio right before the rat scene. But then I was all "Nooooo that's so meaaannn poor rats." 😭😭😭

I've been meaning on making a review of this video for a while, so here I go. The full review will be under the cut like always:
Renata's, the other moms, and the kid's voices are really loud, it's better than NAF, but don't listen to this video at full volume
I really wish William's was at least the same, it's a bit hard to understand due to it being so low
The infamous "let your hair down" scene, ok here we go:
Why does William even need for Brandy to let her hair down? Her pigtails don't interfere with anything since he stabbed her in the chest, what's the purpose of that?
Why did William even slash at her shirt before killing her?? It's so weird, like, what was his intentions?? Did he want to touch her before killing her or something?? Why was that needed?? Why did Mob add that in??
"I'm ready! I want that flag!" Is easily my favorite quote from this video
Also, what happened to Brandy's body? It was on the table at first, but then right after Bart's hand was sliced off she's gone? How long did it take to move her? Bart was still alive, he would've heard it!
The detailed gore is so unneeded, she didn't have to show the details of the decapitation at all
Why was Vincent saying "hello Renata" the clue for Renata to notice Brandy was missing? She never noticed she was gone before? She didn't notice the blood on his shoulder?
He'd probably have a lot more blood on him anyway-
I remember Patty saying to me that the way William waved to Renata looked like he was trying to grab at her breast and I can't think of that part the same way again now 🤣

Did he stab Alfred? 'Cause it looked like he just choked him since he had both hands on Alfred's neck. Why was he crying blood if William choked him? Why was there blood on his shirt? That's not how choking works
When did Puppet get there?? William left??
Why did Renata's eye twitch? Why didn't she see the blood on his shirt??
Why did Jessica say that William has her kids after just seeing the Golden Freddy doll? There's a million golden freddy dolls out there
The animatronic voices are way too low but alright Mob, don't amplify their audio at all

Okay, fellow local Michael Myers enthusiast. I too talk about him like he's a real person to my friends and they humor me but they don't Get It™. So I bring you a discussion topic I hope you will enjoy!!
Michael is a fucking artist and we don't talk about it enough. All versions of him too. RZ Michael obviously is big into mask-making, and oh man is there plenty to unpack there. But there is an artistry to his kills from the beginning! The Judith Myers tableau he creates with her headstone. The way he hangs babysitter boyfriends on the wall and then steps back to admire them the way you might admire a painting in a museum.
Peepaw especially has really found his medium, which is one of the things I love about the new movies. When he stabs all the knives one by one into that man in the kitchen. There's literally no reason for that besides him creating some signature chaos for others to find and react to. The jack-o'-lantern police officer, the tableau he creates with Big and Little John, even his "The Ghost Returns" he sets up with Vicky. ART.
I think people oversimplify him when they say he's an unstoppable force of violence. I mean, he absolutely is, but it's not blind rage or even necessarily all bloodlust. He not only enjoys the act of killing, but I think he is also fascinated by death and the dead human body and he's not purely destructive, he's creative. If it weren't for that pesky urge to kill he'd be all black nail polish, paint-splattered forearms, metal blasting in a messy studio while he splashes red on an artistic nude. Is it blood? Definitely. Whose? You'll never know.
Hey! My friends are the same way. They all call him PeePaw now which is funny to me. They mostly just humor me, but that’s okay. I need to talk about it with SOMEONE you know?
You’re incredibly correct. I’ve been debating about adding his artistry to my version of him. He always struck me as the artistic type, especially in the original film. They way he posed the bodies and stopped to admire his handiwork is truly telling of his nature. Imma add all this to my version of him. You’re totally right about PeePaw being the most artistic with his kills.
I hate when people over simplify him. I know that everyone is entitled to their own opinion but still. Yes, he’s a killing machine, but it’s also how he expresses himself. I think he’d rather enjoy painting, even if he’s still a killer. But I do like to think about him without the urge to kill and what he would be like. Honestly he’d be boyfriend material 🤣

Which of MCL's LIs do you like and which you dont like?
Hi there! 💞
Oh, man. My route in mclHL was Kentin, followed close by Castiel. I know, a weird combination. A little part of me is a sucker for the friends to lover trope, only when it's well done, though. Kentin is so sweet, so caring towards Candy, there's no way I couldn't love him. And yeah, he was my route and will be my route forever so I hope we get mclAL Kentin or otherwise I'll crawl to a corner and cry.
Castiel is also great, but Castiel HL >> Castiel LL >> Castiel UL. He's entertaining, funny, sweet, hot and rich, the perfect man. Maybe one of the things I think says most about him is how regardless of your relationship with him, he still saves Candy's business. He's always been kind and caring, even in HL. Definitely much more than "a bad boy".
Eric is interesting and hot. I didn't play love life cause I didn't have any crush I was passionate about, but If I had played it, I'm confident I would have ended up with Eric. Not because I adore him, but for the sake of the drama. I loved the cheating plot, I think it's the best thing Love Life has to offer.
I didn't like Lysander in mclUL. Y'all gonna kill me, but I found him dull and boring. The only part of him I found interesting was his jealous side, which make me laugh a bit and find him more human and real, he was too perfect for my tastes. I like him waaaaay better in AL. If he had been a love interest in Love life, I would have played it as my route. He's more confident and interesting now, also I'm a countryside girl, so I like his way of living.
Armin is cool. I didn't like him romantically cause I've dated a "gamer boy" before and let me tell you, he'll totally choose League of Legends over you, (Not that I can blame him though, I'd choose my games and books over him too). He was funny to befriend and I always enjoyed his dialogues. I started liking him better in Iri's arc, and I'm very excited for his possible return. Also, he has a hot brother (Evan), he'd be a hell of a brother-in-law.
Rayan was meh. I was thrilled about the forbidden relationship between student and teacher, a shame we never got to do it in the campus. His writing in UL was well paced and great, but it became boring for me in LL. If I hadn't lost interest in him romantically maybe he could have been my route in love life cause the plot was great, but I can't stand his long, boring, philosophical speeches.
I don't have much to say about Hyun. That already says a lot 🤣. I'm not a person who searches for stability and the opportunity to found a family, so I was anything but interested in his plot. I don't like soft boys either and I found his marriage proposal very creepy. "Now, we'll be together forever." Iugh. Step away from me, sir.
Dare to tell me he doesn't look evil here:
I was excited about Priya at first, we didn't have any wlw routes before so I was genuinely interested in this one. I didn't really like it. Many of Priya's speeches were... EJEM, not to my tastes, to say at least. If you want to play a good wlw romance route, I suggest any of the wlw routes of Seduce me which is free btw, and especially Diana's in Seduce me 2: the demon war. Livia's route in Errant Kingdom is also great.
I'll be brief. I despise Nath. Ofc that doesn't mean I dislike Nath stans, I'm very glad and happy you could have him during three seasons. He's what I would call in Spanish a "mosquita muerta". Reasons? I hate he acts like a good guy when he has a little demon inside him. He plays nice but he can be a real nightmare when he wants to and even arrogant. To romance him properly you have most likely to agree with his way of thinking and share similar interests, also I think that sometimes he thinks he's better/more intelligent than Candy or that his job is more important than hers, but that's just probably me disliking him.
An ironic thing since he was my route in University Life. Yeah, I pledge guilty, his plot absorbed me into his route. He reached his peak in UL anyways. But what I most hate about him, what I truly despise.... Is that he's way too hot. Look at him goddammit

Hi! I really like your Ninjago PG-13 AU, you're doing awesome 💖 I was just curious that, if it were a TV show, who you would cast for each part?

Hmmm.... Usually when I imagine the cast I see it as more of an anime with voice actors, all the same that is a really fun question.
And if any of these actors or actresses are in any kind of trouble, I deeply apologize 🙏
Also, this is going to be long because I'm going qith the easiest characters to cast to the hardest
Right off the top of my head is Sarah Paulson as Misako because the woman SLAYED in AHS and Ratched because she already has the 'way' of playing a smart and vulnerable character, which I accidentally made in the rewrite😅 And don’t tell me you'd get a pit in your stomach if you heard her as Misako screaming for Lloyd; the woman has phenomenal range.
Next is Johnny Depp as Pythor for because of his work as Jack Sparrow and Grindlewald. Plus, I think it'd be cool to hear/see him be a cunning snake man.
Next villain is Jason Davis Frank as Garmadon because he used to play Tommy Oliver in the Power Rangers series. Idk, I just find it oddly symbolic and ironic because the guy who played the hero is now playing a villain.
I'm taking a page out of the movie's book and casting Jackie Chan as Wu. He was hilarious in Shanghai Knights and I can see him being the serious and funny wise old mentor of the group.
I don't know how many people will get a kick out of this, but I'd cast either David Tennant or Ralph Fiennes as Skales. David Tennant because of his role as Crowley in Good Omens and Ralph Fiennes because he dies a good snake-y voice.
Skalidor, the Constricti general gets the actor Benedict Cumberbatch because of hiw low his voice is. And don’t tell me there are communities that would LOVE an evil snake general that constricts his opponents to kill them that has the voice/face of Benedict Cumberbatch.
Nya, like Pythor, is a tie between Maise Williams and Sadie Sink. The two have the teenage sister attitude down to a T.
Jay has two picks: either John Mulaney or Ethan Nestor-Darling(Crankgameplays). Idk, the two have such 'Jay' energy and it sticks.
Cole would be voiced by Thomas Sanders because he has a low voice, his work on his series Sandrrs Sidea and other projects is PHENOMENAL, and I can see him playing the 'big brother' or leader of the group and still have the range to have a good time, like he has the low, authoritive voice, but he still laughs and goofs around like a kid and be taken less as a threat because he has the voice for it.
Zane has three very interesting fan casts: Matthew Gray Gubler, Wi Ja-Hoon, and Bryan Dechart. Matthew Gray Gubler because he's played a smart character in Spencer Reid from Criminal Minds, who is also very talkative. Wi Ja-Hoon from Squid Game does not speak english. I don’t know if he'd learn more, but Zane doesn't talk much, but when he does I always imagine he just sounds DIFFERENT from the rest, like he's either from somewhere else or from someWHEN else. Idk, whatever makes Zane even more likable and different and more of a fan favorite.🤷😅🤣😂 Byran Dechart because I just find it funny and Inlove Connor💜
Kai has a few options. Evan Peters because of his roles in AHS and Bad Boy Charm, Cole Sprouse because of his work as Jughead in Riverdale and Will in 5 Feet Apart, Chase Stokes from Outer Banks because he has very 'Kai' energy, as in he cares about 'his people' and will do anything to protect them.
Lloyd has a few interesting options as well: David Franco(who voiced him in the movie), Ruby Pankow, who is also in Outer Banks, and David Mazouz, who played Bruce Wayne in Gotham. Franco already has the experience AS Lloyd, I feel like Ruby and Chase would play off each other well as surrogate brothers, and Mazouz does an amazing job at playing a new hero in a world that demands you to step up or step as far away as you can.

As I've established on the fourth ask, I think there may have been some form of miscommunication between you and the Romionians, Harmionians, and now Dramionians (OOH, girl, Hermione, you slayin' out here so hard that we've got multiple boys falling for you 🤭🤭🤭) . I'm sure there are no "filthy" Romione shippers, "dirty" Harmione shippers, or any "disgusting" Dramione" shippers.

The last time someone told me they wanted to kill me was when I was in middle school. He and I were classmates and he'd always shout insults at me and make fun of me for kicks and giggles. (He did this to literally everyone. No one cared about his behavior, lolol. I do think his jokes went too far, but everyone just let him. I was one of the few people who scolded him- and I guess that's why he was extra hard on me LOL)
⚠️Quick Warning⚠️: What I'm about to say is a bit out there. (It has to do with "kys") So, either brace yourself or scroll until you see the cat picture if you wanna skip this. 😅
At one point, he began to tell me to off myself. Like, he'd do it everyday. I'd be on the playground, minding my own business and eating a tangerine 🍊 and he'd be on top of the slide pointing down at me saying, "Hey! Mera, go K*LL YOURSELF." (And other insensitive stuff I'd rather not type here 😅) He'd be grinning and laughing all the while- such a gremlin, that dude! 🙄😒
I never took him seriously. And I'd just wave it off LOL. But, after several weeks of this, I kinda got annoyed with him and this is what happened: (let's call him Tin.)
Tin: Mera, why don't you just k*LL yourself, huh?
Me: You know what, Tin? If you want me to d*e so much, why don't you kill me, then?
Tin: ....
And THAT, ladies and gentlemen, is how Tin's and my dynamic completely shifted LOL. He was completely silent and at loss for words. It was funny. 🤣 Each day after that, I took the liberty of asking him when he'd- y'know- do the job.
It would always be like, "Heyyy, Tin, I'm not 6 feet under yet! What happened? Scared?" "DUDE. I was waiting for you ALL night last night! How come you didn't break in and off me yet?" "Aww, Tin, come on. I'm literally inviting you to get the job done! Take it!!" It was my way of teasing him, and I WAS HAVING A BLAST.
Soon, he became comfortable with this little arrangement, and it sorta became our "thing", I guess? 😅 I'd ask what his plan was "for tonight" and he'd answer with ridiculous things like: "My weapon will be syrup and a pan." Or "This plastic gun my little brother owns will totally work on you." I'd give my opinions on his "plans" and we'd go back and forth on it, further developing or improving them. It was FUN LOL. 😆🤣
And what was great was that he was so caught up in "planning" with me that he kinda just stopped joking and insulting everyone else. It was great!! And okay, I'm a little ashamed to say, but I Lowkey started ✨catching feelings✨for him along the way...? (LOL DON'T JUDGE ME I WAS IN MIDDLE SCHOOL, OKAY? AND HE WAS HARMLESS. Sort of)
I genuinely had fun with the dude, and he was becoming less and less mean as the years went on. Fast forward a bit into junior high, and we're practically best friends. He's still funny and now really nice. I confessed to liking him. AND YA KNOW WHAT HAPPENED? He ended up saying that he liked me too. 😳😳😳😳
