This list is going to be long. :') SORRY BUT NOT SORRY. And I'm sure I'll be missing people here.
There are a lot of stories I have started reading in the middle of it and intend to catch up the beginning of them. But I can instantly get hooked on so many stories, as long as someone puts "previous | next" buttons, I'm in danger of falling into a story's universe. (I also have the hardest time to follow everyone but I try to.)
@matchalovertrait (OF COURSE YOU) I still need to catch up before I met sassy toddler Dulce. I can't believe she's a preteen now. I do enjoy following people's legacy challenges and I like how I forget that it's one with how you really create your own storylines around the base requirements.
@ice-creamforbreakfast I'm not going to lie, I came for the CC, I stayed for the BACC challenge and I am now following the Romano legacy.
@gooretrait I really do love following legacy challenges. Also, console player?? It's also a good reminder of all the fun you can get without cc and mods, just very inspiring imagination-wise.
@eurosimmer breaks the fourth wall in her captions and it's hilarious to me. It's also a legacy challenge, but oh boy I forget it everytime.
@pleasanttaleswithkaityb completely changed my way of playing! (and also of sharing content on tumblr) I also have a soft spot for taking townies as a base, because we kind of all know the backstories for them a bit. (I say that and I never played Sims 2, just binge-watched Sims lore videos.) I love how people change their stories.
@ruthplaysthesims Talking about appropriating Sims townies and make them evolve, I LOVE Kaori's story. In TS4 we all know the lore is meh (with it being on supposedly another timeline etc). The Mt. Komorebi storyline is SO interesting, I really have to play in that world someday without ruining them all. And somehow, Ruth made it even more interesting! Like I already wanted to know more about them, now I'm looking for any little bit of detail referencing their childhood or something. Anyway I highly recommend, I love all the new stories she put out as well (Raina 💖)
@kamiiri Back to other Sims lore game, I LOVE Strange! I watched a LP of Sims 2 on PS very recently and somehow found Strange at the same time... The setting, the weaving of all the storylines together, continuing all of them together... I love it. It's also very cinematic I'd say? There's something in those screenshots, I love it.
@holocene-sims One day I saw a notification of them and next thing you know I was trying to read everything about Grant from the start on mobile (but it's hard to read on mobile so I have A LOT to catch up). So now I'm catching up the recent story posts! But as I'm writing this post, I know I have a lot to catch up already.
@cinamun Add it to the list of "I should really read the beginning of it but for now I'll just keep on trying to catch any post they make", Things Fall Apart's universe has really sucked me in and I really like how cinamun interacts with everyone! (I admit I am a lurker but I want to try this lemon pepper wings recipe someday and share them with all the readers.) Reading TFA really gives me the vibes of watching a daily evening TV show with my family: we did not necessarily watch since the beginning, we just one day started watching all together, and now we're eating dinner in front of it every night. (And of course sharing our reactions)
@havenroyals If you like some spice and love messy stuffs, you'll be served. I also really like the Gossip queen edits it's just such an interesting way to add variation to tell stories.
@theroyalsims In the same vein of the Gossip Queen edits, I really like how we follow the story of the royal families with articles about them and not from their direct point of view. (I'm also currently trying to guess who is getting married soon because I know there is a royal wedding soon among those sims.)
OK small pause because we've entered the royal simblrs that I follow. There are a lot, it's how I found the simblr community in the first place. One thing I have to say is that I love all the collabs people do, the way so many stories are interconnected through everyone's sim and I genuinely think it's a lovely community (even if I'm not part of it myself as I'm just a reader).
@sosa-royals is the first royal simblr I came across and read everything. The drama? I LOVED it.
@officalroyalsofpierreland After meeting child Maria Aisha I had to learn more about her family. I was not disappointed.
@funkyllama this inevitably led me to want to learn more about the Ionian Union and I really like the world building in general? Also those last edits? I love it.
@empiredesimparte of course there is the complete Europeansim on my list. I particularly enjoy reading in French sometimes when my mind just wants to rest from reading in English. I also love Hortense and everytime I see a big event in the story I would be like: "oh J'AI LA REF ! It really looks like in real life." (you are very talented at building). And in general, I really recommend the worldbuilding tag? Because I love it?
@anachrosims' @prydainroyals Talking about someone talented at building? Yeah, I still have to catch up from the beginning. But this one should be feasible as it is more recent? (I don't know, you're also a good writer, PLEASE tell me what you can't do.)
@nexility-sims Among stories that are easy to start digging in someone's universe, I would recommend reading 1992. Eventually I'll read the story it's a spin-off of and @/armoricaroyalty's story, but yeah. My list of stories to catch up is already long for now.
@trentonsimblr and @ardeney-sims I'm putting both of them in the same bullet point because I've been wanting to enjoy their stories for a while and only decided to fully commit when Between A Rock and A Hard Place started. Similarly to 1992, it can be enjoyed without having the whole back story but yeah. I'll definitely enjoy reading the back stories of main characters and "side" characters (which you see glimpses of in BRHP).
@thegrimalldis Very similarly to the previous bullet points, I started reading with a "spinoff", the prequel "Maximilian" rather than the main story after seeing the username a lot of times. I have since caught up the main story I believe, but I may have to reread to be sure. I also have to read the story of succession (because it's complete and I like complete stories).
@theroyalthornoliachronicles and if we have to go back in time, I would highly suggest Ali's story! Though I can't wait to see modern Thornolian generations? 👀 Also, I'm a reader from after Ali lost her blog and I would say now is the best time to start reading if you're like me and have a massive TBR pile, since we're at chapter one!
OK I think I had most of my currently followed stories. I'm 100% missing people but I will try to reblog more of people's stories so you all can see what I'm reading at the moment!

I’ve been on Tumblr/Simblr for a year today!
What an interesting and fun year! It was an eventful year! I got to learn about other software and tried lots of new things- some more successfully than others...😅. I've really enjoyed having a place to share my stories, vignettes, and edits. This post contains some of the images/edits from last year.
It's funny to think I started this simblr with the intent of sharing a legacy...But I quickly painted myself into a corner and realized I'm not a legacy storyteller (I have a buttload of respect for you legacy storytellers- I don't know how to do it, so I'm just sitting here and watching you all and loving your pixelated people) and very quickly fell back in with old obsessions. I'm not going to wax poetic here; I just wanted to say thanks for making this such a great place- it's an important creative outlet for me. But I'm most grateful for all the lovely friends I've made here. From the heart. ❤️ Every single exchange here means a lot to me (EXCEPT FROM THE BOTS...Well, CheezeBot is ok). Truly and honestly. The sentiments of this post are still true and valid now.

people on simblr who make fullblown story posts, like dejasenti, stellarfalls, moonsims4, tricoufamily, rebouks, cinamun, and so many others are genuinely like my modern-day television (ik we still have tvs, i js dont watch tv much anymore LMAO), albeit they're not motion pictures, its just... pictures (except for gifs), they're always so well-done that they FEEL like im watching a show, like yes I will be watching (reading) this proactively, I will be that one person who likes your post five seconds after you post it (even tho im usually never that early LMAOO) and my entire day will not continue until I finish reading this post

ALRIGHT ALRIGHT ! I CAN GET BEHIND THIS! i will try my best not to go off topic.. but most likely it will, i apologize already now XD.
number 1. YouTube wise HANDS DOWN right now is KUREHA on YouTube if you don't know .click on her name.. be blessed with a Sims series that gives you all the spice you need. FUCKING KANA HANA..... you have cute fucking sims, a great story, and some spice and sweetness all wrapped up into one. i am inspired by them.
2. Plantsimgirl... the ambient builds that they build UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH they are so cozy and amazing and ughhhhhhhh ! just go look. i have fallen asleep to their videos before because i was just so relaxed... and calm and gosh they are such an incredible creator...
3. i have watch this gal since she started XD and yes i love watching lets plays of pretty much anything. but Aurora. Og fan i love and loved all her lets plays.. i love that she loves the sims 3 the most. its honestly just great.
4. story wise i am going to have to say @rebouks (brynn and wyatt have me in a fucking choke hold dude...) , @theosconfessions (which i really want to sit down and start fully from the beginning again because mmm i love) @ you, i am enjoying seeing you, where you are taking your decades challenge honestly and I'm not just saying that because you asked me.. but because i mean it. its fucking cool i could never. I am too lazy to stay in one decade XD including doing a whole-ass challenge nope .. i could barely get through not so berry gen 1 okay XD, you are awesome. there is probably more OHHH I JUST STUMBLED UPON THEM ! @ladykendalsims i sat up all night the other night just reading XD its also so appeasing to the eye and the fact it has occults DONE. (Sorry for the random tag XD but I like what you are putting down.)

Just she is fucking awesome and if you don't know her you should! also look at the beautiful sims she makes, all-around panty droppers. This brings me to fucking @plumbewb THAT BEAN IS SUCH a CUTE FUCKING BEING... that beanie's sims give me life in the best chaotic way, they are outspoken and I LIVE FOR ITTTTTT!

"i do what I want, this is my page" vibe. The energy... as corny as it sounds is there for me when I look at their creative brains serving out these killer things. I respect them and truly find it so cool that there is a platform where I can watch people like this create such fucking AWESOME SHIT.. because if I remember we are all playing a life simulation game XD and LOOK how we all use it so differently so uniquely. what's something you'd like to see more of on royal simblr?
Great question, me! There's a number of things I'd love to see more often in the royal simblr community, such as:
More non-western influences and royals. European monarchies are the most accessible to English-speaking westerners, but in the modern day, most monarchical systems exist in Africa, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. I can only think of a few royal Simblrs that are meant to have non-Western settings--I'm sure there are more that I'm not aware of, so I'd love recommendations on that front!
More stylistic diversity. @warwickroyals touched on this in her answer to this question, but there is a prevailing style for women on royal simblr, which is very classically feminine with a lot of dainty features and soft pastels. I'd love to see more people try to differentiate their characters a bit more in terms of silhouette and personal style. I think there were some royal simblr fashion police a few years ago who sent rude messages to people who broke "the rules" of royal dress, and I think that's had a bit of a stifling effect on the community. Even if you give your royals strict dress codes, I think there's a lot of room to play around and experiment within those parameters. For example, I was actually watching that Prince Philip doc produced by the royal family after his death, and I was struck by how distinctly all the women dressed. Princess Anne was in jeans and a blazer, Zara Tindall was wearing a sleek skirt suit, Beatrice and Eugenie were wearing flowy floral dresses...there's a lot of ways to be polished and stylish while still expressing individual style, so I'd love to see some of that on simblr.
More diversity, just in general. I'm not going to pretend I'm not also guilty of this, but royal simblr is very white, very able-bodied, very cisgender and heterosexual, very thin, and very conventionally beautiful by western standards. There's no reason why made-up countries with made-up histories should follow all the patterns and prejudices of the real world, so it'd be nice to see more of a range of types. I love my beautiful, icy brunettes as much as the next person (you will pry Rosalind from my cold, dead hands) but it'd be great to see more representation of different types of people.
More interesting men. This is one that's a lot more subjective, but I feel like there is a general tendency toward blandness when it comes to male characters on royal simblr. Speaking very broadly, the menfolk tend to be either irredeemable dumpster creatures OR perfect husbands and fathers who wait patiently for their "messy" love interests to realize that he's the man of their dreams. I don't think there's anything wrong with either of these things in a vacuum (and there's tons of stories that I really enjoy that make use of those archetypes), but I feel like there are some missed opportunities for more interesting and dynamic male characters, especially as love interests. For me personally, it's hard to get invested in a romance where one or both parties is certifiably Nice (tm) without any other defining character traits.
Anyway, all this to say that these are really broad trends, and I'm sure you could cite strong counterexamples for each OR point out places where I've fallen into the same patterns. But in general, those are the community-wide tropes that I think could use the most refreshing.

Ohhh Hi Melsie!
You of course! Your story is one of my current obsessions. I love the characters, and the interaction and above all I love the meta humor! The way you can make the story blend so well with the game lingo is something that always amazes me and makes me actually laugh. Everything you write is really good, and really fun to read!
@natolesimsupdates, Happily Ever After story is the best visual novel I have ever seen, call that a gameplay doesn't make it justice. Whenever Nat updates, I feel like a kid watching a new episode of my favorite show.
@samssims is another fantastic storyteller. I think it's an incredible skill to convey an entire story without using words at all. Th Princess Legacy is beautifully edited and Belle's gen was a masterpiece.
And I just started reading the Bloom Legacy by @eurosimmer and I am completely in love with the style, and Primrose is completely adorable. I need to catch up but I know I will get addicted too.

I got university from the library lol but I think the first one I owned was open for business, which was a revelation at the time. I always wanted nightlife but was too afraid to ask my mom for it cause it looked SEXY.
now, as an adult, can confirm nightlife is the best one. but I am a sexual deviant, so.
7. Do you pronounce “live mode” like aLIVE or LIVing?
in my head it's like "aLIVE" but from a linguistic perspective I gotta concede that the "LIVing" pronunciation makes more sense because it's consistent with the other modes (buy/build) which are verbs not adjectives

I hate all my loser sims

sims 3 is hideous (sorry bout it), sims 4 has lovely landscapes but the gameplay is akin to watching paint dry. I'm sure I'll love the sims 1 once I get around to playing it. I like creepy weird stuff.

Hey, I love your royal family challenge, but I'll admit that I wouldn't be able to play such a challenge myself, where I come up with everything myself. Watching your gameplay, I began to wonder what such a challenge, and more so its rules, could look like. I know that there was a royal family challenge, but as far as I know it is quite old and not updated. That's why I wanted to ask if you ever thought about creating rules for such a challenge?

I wouldn't call what I'm doing now a challenge really, but I actually have thought about putting together a gameplay tutorial for my royals mainly because I noticed so many royal simblrs don't play. But I have a blast playing with my royals. I try to keep my gameplay very realistic which is why it's easy for me to do gameplay style storytelling.
Not sure if I'll ever get around to a tutorial, but here's a few things I do! I hope this helps. Can't wait to see what you do!
Include butlers/security/assistants in households - The butlers are very important because my royals aren't going to clean and cook for themselves! The security is more for storytelling. Lately, I give the butler a security outfit to save space.
Give my royals a job - They have to work like the rest of us! Most will work in military, a work from home job, or self-employed. Sometimes I will build lots for them to work. For self-employed sims, their job is to work on certain skills and build relationships with other royals/diplomats. Oh, I also make them celebs because that offers a lot of gameplay. Some work to get more famous.
Build functional lots - It's rare that I use a set in my story. Usually I have a fully fleshed out build even for just a scene. I know, crazy lol. But, it makes my world more fun! Of course, I don't actually build, I find things in the gallery and slowly decorate them as I need them.
Story and Gameplay Align - If something happens in my story, I also play it out gameplay style. Relationships, pregnancies, even enemies. Makes both the gameplay and the story more realistic. And it can even inspire storylines.
Maybe this will inspire me to make something more formal! Thank for the ask!!

hello, elli! how are you doing? i'm always very impressed by your builds, you seem to craft them very carefully and you definitely have an amazing eye for detail. there's lots of small touches that make them feel alive/realistic and they have a warm atmosphere that really appeals to me. because of that, i'd like to ask you if you have any tips when it comes to building and finding inspiration. oh, i almost forgot, i'd love to have your last builds and its residents when you reach the milestone!
Hiya!! this is such a sweet ask and the ideas are brewing in my head so you get a dissertation under the cut :D (ps ily you made my day HEHE)
ALRIGHT! so first of all a little context, i've been building since i got the sims 3 alll the way back in 2011. i think. i was 7, couldn't speak or even understand english yet and my game was stuck in it so for a very long time i was just doing whatever and most of the time it.... sucked! I got the sims 4 back in 2014 with the mac release, and back in the day the build mode was revolutionary so i spent a lot of my time in there. For me building is fun, i know a lot of people who see it as frustrating and timeconsuming and while it can be- it can also be very enjoyable in the right setting.
first of all, style changes a lot and my builds look different every year! the style i've been building in now only really started in 2021/2022 with this build:
now for some tips:
there's a lot of ways to get inspiration, but my favourite and most useful is pinterest! i have a board full of exterior and interior designs, some i use for vibes and others i follow very closely, i find using references (just like you might for sims) helps a ton when trying to build something realistic. Also think magazines like architectural digest, design blogs on tumblr, youtube home viewings, other video games, tv shows etc. When i'm building for DFM i like to keep Stranger Things, Gone Home and Bones And All in mind as inspiration, and when i build the house in this post for @literalite's Dgwicf i referenced the house from Bosch.
Along with that comes inspo from other builders on Simblr. Go and look at your fav builds, what makes them stand out to you? how can you incorporate that into your own builds? what do you need to be able to do that? One thing i did a lot while learning was watching speed builds; and i mean the REAL kind not the stop motion ones despite them being weirdly satisfying lmao. Ones with a good voiceover help too. Seeing someone actually build makes it a lot easier to figure out more complicated building styles.
One thing i like to do is to build through storytelling. I personally mostly build for sets, so then i like to consider what the viewer needs to see to be able to understand a character without having to know them, where you are/live says a lot about you! But for gameplay it works similarly. Ask yourself questions; who lives here, what is this lot used for, how much money do they have, where is this set, does this match the rest of the neighbourhood/town. If building many lots for something like a story or save file, i like to make a pinterest board for the town vibes too.
Technically, i think there's two main tips for making a build look nice in this specific style. Landscaping and Clutter! i actually think landscaping is the most important part of building as it ties the entire thing together; even if its just three trees in a planter pot. Don't forget about terrain painting either! this one's hard to learn if you never do it but i'd say start out with the softest but largest brush option and kind of airbrush some dirt/gravel around the lot and add a little extra dirt underneath houses and roads. Last tip; if you struggle with roofing there's lots of tutorials on youtube, or you could just choose builds that have less roofs.
i have no idea how to explain how to clutter but you could walk around your house to look for stuff you'd normally clean up if someone would come over. add that into your build :) think trash, laundry, study materials, craft projects, little random nicknacks, cooking supplies, etc. sometimes i go through my clutter folders and just put everything i want to use in one room and distribute it later once the furniture is in!

The tldr is that somehow the relationship between her and her firstborn son deteriorated to the point that after he died when I left him unattended, his trash mother would go outside and laugh at his grave. She had a Confident moodlet after he died of anger.
She also had resting bitch face for the entirety of her stepdaughter’s wedding. Literally the worst “family-oriented” sim I’ve ever had.
For the extra long extra unhinged version, here is the Nobel Gen 1 (also there is a plumtree link because I like having something to work on even when I don’t post, and I genuinely hope to reach 27 or 28 generations idk I can’t count)
Founder Remi was created thanks to the Create a Story feature, she got Family Oriented, Loner, and Evil for traits, and the Secret Agent career. She wanted to be Fabulously Wealthy. I wanted to rebuild my mods folder in anticipation of the March patch, so we’re rolling with less mods and CC than usual... just my Old Faithfuls to start (Lumpinou’s mod suite, MCCC, More Personality Please! and bug fixes... later we add more in but just to start it’s these for script mods. They’re pulling the strings, ok)
I had her adopt a cat because she gave those vibes. Artemus was the dumbest cat I’ve ever seen. Just ran around occasionally and left hair everywhere, and ate. Also watched TV. Himbo cat vibes.
She then adopted a second cat named Andromeda because why not. Sometimes I tried to make them mate, but Andromeda had higher standards I guess.
Because this was personal gameplay, I’m playing in a save filled with townies from the gallery & simblr. Despite the fact that she was a loner and constantly wanted to be alone and just make money, Remi also kept rolling whims to have a kid. So I did what any legacy player does, I let her go out and meet people.
She met Arturo Perez (by nomorebadtownies) and they hit it off! They even got married! It was very exciting, I played a barely functioning wedding where he peed himself, and his daughter Ella (who was supposed to be the young flower pal) aged up right before so she was a teen flower pal.
After the wedding, Remi was ready to get ~down and dirty~ but wait. Arturo is greysexual! Thanks LGBTQ+ mod!
So he pretty much was like “nah” but eventually he did get into an okay mood and off we went.
She found out she was pregnant but then it turns out he didn’t want any more kids. You can imagine how this is going, because despite now being pregnant, Remi rerolled wanting a kid. She wanted more.
She had Alejandro and then like... immediately while out in San Myshuno met another sim, Hassan Moto, who she then went on a date, and a teensy little trip to Tartosa, and wouldn’t you know it, all that risky woohoo resulted in another baby.
She then proceeded to pass the affair baby off as Arturo’s. Thanks RPO!
Hassan was not super cool with that because... I guess he thought he was Remi’s only lover? They got a paternity test done so they both knew the baby was NOT Arturo’s, and Hassan got mad and their “relationship” was basically put on hold.
Arturo eventually became suspiscious because like... Hassan would just casually drop by their house????
So he confronted her and she didn’t even lie she was just like LMAO YUP.
At this point, Alejandro aged up. In the middle of their dramatic dinnertime fight about Baby Ayda’s father. He rolled Hot Headed because of course he did. My game knows what I deserve.
Anyway, Arturo was a pretty good dad to Alej but real shitty to Ayda, and Remi was pretty sucky in general, being evil and all. Plus she became a real workaholic, so all the kids, including Ella, started getting sentiments about how she ignores them. Alejandro especially did not get along with Remi, because they both just argued with each other.... All the time. Constantly.
Ella had her own little sideplot sexual awakening when she and Kaori Nishidake got Unexpected Crushes on each other (thank you, LGBTQ+ mod!)
Ella and Remi still had a pretty good relationship at this point so Ella confided that she was having this weird crush on Kaori and Remi said
Ella did not listen, she is bisexual. Kaori came to terms with it as well, she is pan. However, she aged up before the girls could confess to each other!
Ella then met another girl, coincidentally also a Mt Komorebi townie somehow attending Copperdale, named Mayu and hit it off. Mayu likes girls exclusively and they started dating... Until Ella aged up and entered her own messy era, where she decided that like, she wasn’t going to just wait around for Mayu for forever, and instead Woohooed Kaori (with a fun FWB arrangement).....
Ella also was still in the household, attending Britechester at this time. She was going to become a lawyer but ended up pivoting and becoming a professor like her dad. She was the main mother figure for Alej and Ayda when they were kids because her parents were............ going through it.
She also ended up taking Ayda with her to meet her bff Sidney’s new dog (and also his new husband, Kristopher Volkov). There, she met Jacob Volkov, who she also hit it off with. Way too well. They ended up meeting up on Love Day and woohooing a bunch of times in a hot tub at a nightclub. Guess who ended up pregnant? It’s Ella. Her almost-a-YA girlfriend was super not amused.
On New Year’s Eve I tried to finally repair Arturo and Remi’s relationship. They rang in the new year with some woohoo, but then they decided to play Chess and basically that was it, I looked away and when I came back it was full red bars, declared enemies, never going back.
Arturo then died before they could finalize the divorce. I think of old age, but it glitched out because he also started dying of fear.... I had to reset him and then he was just a ghost in the abyss, no clue where his urn is. Obviously Remi immediately moved Hassan in to the house and they picked up right where they left off.
Alej aged up into a teen and I decided the “Drama Llama” teen aspiration seemed like a good idea. The Drama Llama aspiration is Exactly What It Says on the Tin. He bullied people. He sent mean Social Bunny messages. He started dating a girl he met named Accalia. One of the aspiration goals is to mess around in the Cuddle Carts
Alej’s one good trait is that he’s very supportive of everyone’s identity so when he and Accalia were discussing it and she was... not as supportive, he broke up with her (also because that was part of the Drama Llama aspiration).
Except ha ha of course. Of COURSE. Mess around is just woohoo. She got pregnant.
This would be fine of course, except Ella was also pregnant. And you know who else? REMI. REMI WAS PREGNANT AGAIN. This time with a Hassan baby.
Remi had a daughter named Arya, Ella had a son she named Peter, and Accalia called to tell Alej she named her daughter... Cherlindrea.
In the meantime, I tried to finish the Drama Llama aspiration. He had to become enemies with his rival, who I noted was a pink haired guy with the last name Wainscot. Easy right? Well guess what. There are two pink haired Wainscots, because they’re brothers, and instead he became enemies with his TEAMMATE.
This was a lot but whatever, we managed to become enemies with the rival too, Alej was the most hated yet strangely popular guy in school (and also on the chess team. not a jock. chess). Except by Ayda’s best friend, Annika, who she had a crush on. Annika seemed to ALSO be interested in Ayda..................... until Alej walked in.
There was another mess around. This will come up again soon don’t worry.
At this point, Ayda chose to tell Alej that she’s 🌈 gay 🌈... Which would have been a good point for him to be like “ehhh I won’t date your gal pal” but that didn’t happen. They were already dating at that point and he really liked her and she liked him and Ayda is self-sacrificing because she has low self esteem and her family treats her like crap mostly so she was like “oh..........its fine you know, no worries, I don’t like her like that ahahaha” while she died inside
Speaking of dying....
Right after all this went down, Hassan (now an Elder) was like “now is a GREAT time to finally marry Remi” with his whims. So I said, fuck it, I’m not taking pictures. Classic Sims Legacy Bathroom Vows it is. Except Remi, you remember, is evil. And I have a mod that will let sims autonomously call off their weddings, because I like chaos and I loved that in TS2. Remi of course said “lmao nope” to the bathroom wedding vows. What the fuck ma’am. So their relationship TANKED. Anyway, I had Remi try to Apologize... In Bed. And she did, I was very proud of her. She also apologized in the shower, because shower woohoo fuck yeah!
Yeah................... guess who was already tuckered out. You guessed right, it was Hassan, who died on the bathroom floor.
As for the teens................... they all kinda went “huh” and then they all went to prom and had a grand time, and Ayda’s other best friend was voted Prom Royalty and Alej was Prom Jester. And it was such a beautiful grand time that Alej proposed to Annika to lock this love down before he aged up to YA (the next day)
But ha ha ha hilariously................... Alej has some GREAT swimmers, I guess, and I never remembered to buy him condoms. What a guy
Yeah so Annika after accepting his proposal was like “ummmmmmm now’s a good time to tell you.... I’m pregnant!”
I tried to just add her to the household but that just... wasn’t working. At all. I figured it was just a glitch, so I let it go for a minute, and worried about getting Alej aged up and enrolled in University (Foxbury!).
I also moved Ella and Peter out and in with Kaori so they could be happy together :)
Where is Ayda while all this is happening? That is such a great question, especially as she is my heir. So Ayda lives this very quiet life. She’s a Llamacorn Scout, she was working on the Angling Ace aspiration, she graduated high school early and was truly just thriving. Like everyone around her is an unmitigated disaster and she’s just like “bye I’m gonna go fish for a minute.” She does really dislike Arya, though (which is valid....Arya rolled Mean. So her family living at home is Evil Mom Remi, Hot Headed Alejandro, and Mean Arya. And she’s just... Loyal and Loving the Outdoors. Pure!)
Okay so we’ve established now that Alej is a YA, going to college (engineering wooo), Annika we want to move in, and now that Hassan and Ella and Peter are gone, we finally can. It’s a Sunday. A regular Sunday in game.
We then find out why, exactly, Annika couldn’t move in. It wasn’t a glitch. Oh no no no, of course not. Remi is pregnant again. This bitch I s2g.
I have Alej try to step up and be good, and have a cute little private ceremony with Annika over by the river in Newcrest under a cherry tree, very romantic.
SHE SAYS NO, SHE CALLS OFF THE WEDDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So now he’s pissed, he’s like “what? why not? is this kid even mine?”
(The reason she calls off the wedding, in my mind, is because she smooched Ayda ONCE and knows that she was SUPPOSED TO BE AYDA’S SPOUSE 😡)
They go to check that the kid is Alej’s and yes of course it is. So despite their romance bar being basically 0 right now, thanks to RPO, they CAN get married because of the baby. And they sure do. So Annika is now a Nobel. And this baby will be born in wedlock, and nothing could go wrong right? Right?
Alej is still pretty furious about it all, though, like he has a very angry sentiment towards her, and he didn’t want a kid to begin with because he was just a teen, he already had one oopsie, blah blah.
But whatever. We’ll get through it because he’s a spare. I’m just waiting for Ayda’s university acceptance to come and then it’s gen 2 babyyyyyy
Ayda’s not doing anything while waiting for her acceptance letter except going to scouting meetings on the weekend and fishing, so since Alej is just taking classes while Annika is in school, I decide to feel out Ayda, decide what I wanna do, etc etc etc.
....I turn away for one second, I catch some fish. Annika goes into labor and I’m like oh shit, better send Alej with her to the hospital, her motives are pretty low. And he’s........ not there. He’s not an option.
And I’m like what the fuck why isn’t Alejandro an option. Where did he go? WHERE IS ALEJANDRO?
And I find him in Annika’s relationship panel and he’s a FUCKING GHOST
So I search all around the house and I find his URN on the 2nd floor by Arya and Remi and I’m like “what the FUCK did you two DO” and the game is acting funky so I can’t see in the family tree how he died. I straight up thought he went to class and just. died. Like he got lost on the way back and now he’s gone. (I eventually determined he died of anger which... tracks. No idea if Remi or Arya provoked him, or it was just a bunch of other moodlets or what, because I didn’t even see a pop up ABOUT him dying, he just. DIED).
So I click on Remi because like... if Annika is in labor, she’s about to burst, and I realize... This bitch is Confident right now. So I look at her moodlets and she’s confident because she outlived her enemy. At some point they became enemies, can’t imagine how or why, maybe it was all the arguing and nonsense. So she was happy her enemy (her son) was gone. And then she laughed at his urn. And then when I moved it outside, she’d go and laugh at it out there.
Anyway, I send Ayda with Annika to the hospital, and she has a little girl, who be named Bea. Bea Nobel. Very cute name.
I come back to the house and now Remi goes into labor and I’m like “no... I don’t think you’ll get to go to the hospital and reset your motives, fuck that.” So she goes down to the nice empty crib I left her and has a son, named Arman. And then the game tells me she also has a daughter we name Arezu and suddenly why I couldn’t add Annika when I KNEW she was only pregnant with one sim makes sense.
At this point, I’m like “we’re not doing any more of this shit, it’s too much even for me” and I have Ayda check to see if she got into college (she did) and send her off to Foxbury to learn Environmental Science, so she can chase her dreams of being the cottagecore lesbian nature girl she deserves to be.
And that’s it!
Oh wait addendum: while visiting the main household, Ella called Arya of all sims and was like “omg I found a ring in Mayu’s bag, should I say yes???” and they got Engaged I guess, so I let them have a cute little wedding (where Ayda was supposed to be Sim of Honor but the game wouldn’t allow her to walk down the Aisle so instead I sent her down as a Flower Pal)
Remi went to the wedding. She made this face the whole time, and left early with Arya (who also made bitchy faces).
Literally the worst sim I’ve ever had. I mean that. Blows Bartlett Perry out of the fucking water.

Rosalie by @puretopia— it's almost embarrassing to admit how in love i am with Rosalie. She was literally one of the first sims i saw on my dash when joining simblr late last year and I was immediately (obsessed) intrigued, been following her story ever since and I get excited every time I see her on my dash (thank you for such an iconic queen!!)
Leif by @duusheen — i think everyone can agree this is the most loved womanizer (respectfully) on simblr lol it was so fun to watch him grow (even through the tough times) and become a dad, I can't wait to see what's next in this amazing legacy!!

What’s your favorite Sims death?
Absolutely, without a doubt: Death By Flies. I don't even know why, it was just so fun to watch in TS2. I don't kill Sims as much anymore, just because I have my favourites that I don't want to die--but every now and then, I still do. Honestly, if I don't like the Sim, I just delete them instead.
Alpha CC or Maxis Match?
Mostly Maxis Match, but I do have alpha content because I liked it enough. I like semi-realism; not too cartoony, but not TOO realistic.
Do you cheat your sims weight?
Usually no, unless it's for a character's purpose. I actually didn't know the weight could change in TS3, until I realized my one Sim was gaining weight and while on her third pregnancy. I was doing a generational challenge at the time, so absolutely no cheating was allowed. Let's just say.... her weight could never be altered, lol.
Do you move objects?
Like... using moo? If so, yes. If not... I mean, like redecorating? Because also yes.

Oh--too many to name. XD I was thinking about doing a mod post, after seeing one yesterday.... and unfortunately losing it. x__x; There were some I would have liked to have had.
First Expansion/Game Pack/Stuff Pack?
Well... I'm not sure how to answer this one, as the Sims 1 pack I got had two EPs that came with it, then I got the other 3 as a bundle as well.
Do you pronounce live mode like aLIVE or LIVing?
As aLIVE, as that made sense to me in my head. The other way just sounds so wrong.
Who’s your favorite sim that you’ve made?
Oh---this is GOING to be tough. So from TS2 (( because I don't think he translated as amazingly to TS3, but still okay enough )) is always going to be Timothy Blake. My other favourite Sims are always going to be my pirate couple: they were my favourites in TS2 and I've made them TWICE in TS3--and this current version of them in my absolute favourite pairing. I don't really have any currently in TS4. I should try to make my pirate pair in TS4.
Have you made a simself?
Uh, yes--for my friend for her HG Challenge. She made one of herself and her kitty, so I made one of myself. And she KILLED me. XD I'm so offended, but her Simself at least paid her respects to me, and I do apparently haunt the house, so... it's all good, lol.
Which is your favorite EA hair color?
I'm not entirely sure. I've downloaded some hair colours as well, so I can' be 100% sure if I'm liking an EA one or another, but: red. If you haven't noticed, I put red hair on almost every Sim. XD
Favorite EA hair?
I think it's either one from Supernatural or a Store hair, but I've used it on my female Sims a lot, because it's cute and elegant at the same time. Also the pointy one from Into The Future--the one with the braids.
Favorite life stage?
Young Adult
Are you a builder or are you in it for the gameplay?
Well, I'm certainly NOT a builder, despite what you've seen. I'm more of a re-constructer. XD I like the gameplay, but, if I'm being honest, I love the CAS part more. I like fashion and designing things.
Are you a CC creator?
...yes? I don't have much, but I'm proud of what I have done. I wish I could do more, such as modding or at least getting my WIPs to work properly.
Do you have any Simblr friends or a Sim Squad?
I have very few friends in the Simblr/Sims community.
Do you have any sims merch?
No, but it would be cool to see some stuff at Hot Topic or BoxLunch.
Do you have a Youtube for sims?
I wanted to, and I sort of have a few Sims vids up, but I really hate the sound of my voice, and I'm an introvert and even when doing private vids (( not for public-viewing, I should mention )) for my best friend when we exchange Christmas and birthday gifts, I'm usually the one NOT talking, lol. My friend chats away about everything, and I'm just "**unwraps gift carefully while being completely silent*". It took about fifty takes for me to do one Tik Tok dealing with my personal unexplained stories.
How has your “Sims style” changed throughout your years of playing?
When it was TS2, I downloaded everything I saw that I liked. I tried not to do that in the beginning of playing TS3; only downloading some makeup, then it became shoes... then clothing.... and it just spiral after that. Now I really go for EA-only converted things (( build and buy-wise )) or something that is REALLY cute or truer to EA-lore (( or edited EA items )). CAS is another story. I have found clothing in my CAS that doesn't look good on Sims/is broken and I eventually take those out when I get the chance. This is going to be hard, because there are just too many: @mspoodle1 was probably the first one I ever followed on Tumblr because I liked her CC so much. I also really love @twinsimming, @pixelfrogslegs, @aroundthesims, @bioniczombie, @aisquaredchoco, @nectar-cellar, @simtanico, @aprilrainsimblr, @phoebejaysims, @ilvansims3conversion, @auroraeternal, @kotajose, @ninaaposts, @nightospheresims, and waaaaay too many more.
How long have you had Simblr?
I don't know... maybe 2013 or 2014? I made it to show off my Sims screenies to a coworker of mine who also played TS3.

What expansion/gamepack is your favorite?
I can't really choose with Sims 1--so I'll skip that. For Sims 2: Apartment Life or Bon Voyage. For Sims 3: Supernatural AND World Adventures. For Sims 4: I have very few expansions that I haven't tried everything out JUST yet (( just installed Jungle Adventures and I'm super excited to try it out!! I'm also seeing a pattern here, lol )), but the demo I did of Snowy Escape? LOVED.
