Based on your blog, I'm assuming you're very condescending towards the general moomin fan base, especially if they generally don't adhere to your flavor of headcanons. You have very interesting ideas and analyses, and that's more of a personal opinion than an assumption, but I'm assuming you think less of people who have fun with the more popular ideas.

I like to think that I'm not that condescending, maybe I actually do come off as such, but... maybe I do, I honestly can't tell. I generally don't interact with people who don't intersect with my circle of focus, because I believe in "live and let live" and try my best not to bother other people about my personal disagreements.

I may complain about certain popular takes, lenses or aspects of the fandom but I don't believe anyone is any less than I am for those things because at the end of they, fandom is fandom and it doesn't actually impact my real life despite how much time I spend thinking and talking about Moomin online. I used to have major frustrations that lead to depressive episodes about it in the past but I like to believe I've matured since and come to peace with it.

Those popular ideas are just that and I simply scroll past them because they aren't my cup of tea but I'm not going to toss their cups if they do like it, yknow? Above all else I love discussing stuff presented within the canon of the franchise and exploring the world within the confines of what's already presented rather than outright changing things that are already there, and it just so happens that I'm not interested in the likes of Moomintroll and Snufkin's relationship or the supposedly elusive nature of the Joxter, and I will vehemently defend those who hate such things for unjustified or uninformed reasons. Like. If you dislike the pervasiveness of Snufmin then sure so do I but if you go around and start claiming it's pedophilic then I will not hesitate to fight against that claim with everything I have.

ok so you know how in the new moomin show little my says "i have eyes everywhere" or something like that? i like to think she has little rat friends or something, and also since she's so tiny she can spy easily.

ANYWAY what if there's your classic slowburn snufmin fanfic but narrated by little my and she's VERY passive aggressive about what fucking idiots these two are being plus little my escapade chapters as a break from the yearning

and both snufkin and moomin have told little my that they like each other individually and little my desperately wants to knock it into their heads that they like each other but she knows she needs to give them time and eventually shes like "MOOMIN YOU KNOW SNUFKIN LIKES YOU RIGHT??" and moomins like "shit. can you confess to him for me? i'll give you extra jam for the rest of the month" and she agrees but only because jam and so she does it but snufkin doesn't believe her

and then eventually they do actually confess and nearly kiss but then they're interrupted and snufkin then leaves early for winter and then when he comes back its super awkward and little my is like "WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING YOU'VE ALREADY CONFESSED" and moomin thinks hes missed his chance

and the whole time little my is like "these fucking morons. can't they kiss already." whenever they have a romantic moment the narration is just "and they didn't kiss. it was very anticlimactic. you'd fucking THINK they'd have a romantic kiss in the rain, but NO. they just blushed and ran away. for BOOBLES SAKE THESE TWO ARE GONNA BE THE FUCKING DEATH OF ME-"
