Can I get “how they let you know they like you” preferences with team scorpion with male!reader
Walter -
● denies he has feelings for you
● Toby tries to psychoanalyze him into realizing he is in fact capable of loving someone in a romantic way
● even Megan notices and you've only met her a handful of times but Walter always talks about you to her
● "you know you like him right"
● "no I don't he's just a colleague"
● "whatever you want to tell yourself Walter"
● he hasn't quite figured out how to tell you just yet but give him time it'll be really special when he does
Happy -
● insults you but in a flirting way
● turns you down whenever you try to ask her on a date
● "you and me are not going to happen so stop trying"
● "we'll see about that, I know you don't hate me as much as you pretend to"
● you're surprised when she kisses you after you nearly die on a job
● "you know you just kissed me right?"
● "yeah well I guess I hate you less than most people but i'll hurt you if you tell anyone i said that"
Toby -
● he just straight up tells you he likes you
● he was not at all subtle when you joined the team and took an immediate liking to you
● schemes to spend alone time with you on jobs
● he even "accidently" locked you guys in a storage room together
● is on a high when you accept a date with him
● goes around telling everyone on the team about your date and how he's gonna marry you one day
Paige -
● also very direct with her feelings
● she's got a kid to worry about she doesn't have time for playing games
● "are you going to ask me out or not Y/N?"
● "you want me to ask you out?"
● "I've been waiting for months but it seems relationships are a weakness for geniuses around here"
Sylvester -
● panic states trivia facts whenever he's around you
● and starts doing math to calm himself when he's alone with you
● gets you very specific gifts catered to little details you've told him about yourself
● asks Paige for advice on how to tell you how he feels about you
● "maybe we could uh- get dinner together sometime, just you and me?"
● "I'd thought you'd never ask Sly"

Did Sly in that last scene remind anyone else of Collins...?

Let’s Talk
I’m combining the last two Scorpion episodes (3.21-22) for this one, sorry if it is confusing.
All I really have to say about episode 21 is that I think Walter did a really amazing and heartfelt thing for Happy and Toby with the whole lecture/counseling stuff and then he got a ton of undeserved crap about it.
Sure, maybe they didn’t want to do all the stuff he’d planned, but Walter was basically saying “You guys are my friends and I want to make sure that your marriage is successful because I love you both.” Walter was doing something related to the marriage not the wedding yes, but he should have received far more appreciation for his efforts.
On to episode 22, I actually do have a significant amount to say.
As for Toby and Happy, I would love to hear more about them moving in together and the ending was really sweet. I think that “Toby’s crap” is a concept that really has some potential given his history of being a street-rat type and the idea of keeping momentos of the good times because there were so many bad ones.
I am really disappointed about what happened with Walter and Paige, and this time, I think it was mostly her fault, thought the rest of the team did stuff too. They should have told him.
Paige is supposed to be all about human communication and getting along right? If so, what the fuck is she doing here? She messed with Walter’s head, even after having known him long enough to understand how cruel that is. He did react inappropriately by firing her, but her entire job is about knowing and understanding human emotion/actions, so I’m blaming her. Frankly, he may have been right to fire her given that she was, at the moment, doing more harm than good.
As for that last scene, I thought that the whole team was horrible to Walter, just leaving him like that when they know how he will spiral. I feel like they should have been on his side not Paige’s, at least Happy, Sly, and Toby should have.
Toby. What he said to Walter was especially cruel; I’m still reeling. That last comment seemed to me like a metaphorical knife to Walter’s gut, and I hoped that it is addressed in a way that doesn’t involve Walter apologizing.
I’m going to get a little dark here, but I could see Walter spiraling from everything that happened in 3.22 and taking up self-harm or even becoming suicidal. To me, it doesn’t seem that far a leap because the people with whom he thought he’d finally found a home just screwed with his head and abandoned him - a potential train of thought could be “My entire life people have abandoned me and the people who I thought wouldn’t ever do that just did so logically, I must not be worth it.”
Wow, that was long. Sorry

You know you have a great show when you get the viewers so invested in a chess tournament.

I was kind of waiting for Sly's dad to ask about the bandaid for the whole episode and was a little saddened when he never did. I just really wanted Sly to tell him about Megan for some reason...
