In the wake of Israel and the west's recent crimes against Palestine, I realized why Scorpion's plot went to shit.

Scorpion's plot was all about calling out the American government. The Iraq massacre America commited and Walter's backstory. Sly's father being military and saying he wants to save the world yet only caring about his reputation. Cabe aiding and abetting war crimes. America having nukes in foreign land, and putting embargos on Yemen.

The US government doesn't like when it's exposed in any form of media.

That's why they changed the story.

Sometimes I peruse the CBS Scorpion tag to see if there's anything substantially new. A horde of new watchers, new gifsets, a few fanfics.

There's never more than 10 new posts. Most lamenting about the fandom being dead.

That fandom died a permanent death with that single horrendous finale episode and there is no other show that can compare to that level of implosion.

Movie writers: They split up and then the show gets cancel. Alternatively one of them can die.

Imo splitting up a couple when you already know that you are close to a cancellation is just shit. But killing one of them off because writers want to demonstrate their power over the fans and do not know how to find interesting storylines for a happy couple is even more depressing

season one walter would NEVER fire paige and the butchering of his character is a travesty i will never forgive the writers for

off topic but in s3 ep 5 Plight at the Museum. when tobys like bitching at walter because hes married to happy and hes like "once again youve mastered the art of thinking about yourself"? like WHAT. hes WHAT. toby my guy the extra scrutiny theyd do could get him DEPORTED he could literally lose scorpion and his home and the gang. and like if theyd waited theyd have found out she wasnt even pregnant and they could like. plan everything a little bit better. done some better forgeries. practiced their fake marriage a little bit more. maybe even waited a little bit.

Just thinking about how underdeveloped Megan's relationship was with the rest of the team.

Megan teasing Walter and Paige about liking each other and hooking them up every chance she gets, calling Paige "sis". Ralph helping her and calling her "aunt Megan"

Megan and Happy getting along and Happy taking her on motorcycle rides.

Megan and Toby going to casinos and having alcohol together.

Unresolved tension between her and Cabe regarding how he irreversiblely traumatized her brother.
