I love the character scrolling from the first Dungeon Meshi opening, and couldn't find the image online, so I pieced this together myself. [Image descriptions: various characters from dungeon meshi all reaching upwards towards the sky. the bottom image is all women, while the top image is all men, and has been flipped upside down, so the men and women are reaching for each other. the topmost figure in each image is Laios for the men and Falin for the women. Due to the mens image being flipped, the siblings hands almost touch. End ID.]

The only flaw so far in the Dungeon Meshi anime is that they changed up the opening theme. I was enjoying that Bump of Chicken song, and the nostalgia that went with it.

まったく聴いたことのない新しい曲にでくわしてしまった衝撃を覚えて、コピーしながら複雑なつくりの虜になってしまっている。転調してガラリと印象を変えるサビAのメロディ、マジでどっから湧いて出てきたの・・・。サビA’でダルシマーっぽい伴奏と共にアラビアンな音階で転調したかのように錯覚さ��られながら、調を戻してサビBへ高揚していく流れがたまらない。これは誰にも作れないわ。
