also i have a valdrinor theory!
i love the rebellious prince trope, so my theory is he ran away -- possibly bc he wasnt ready to rule yet? the cerebroslug in the peach plug mentioned valdrinor’s father had been looking for him... how long do cerebroslugs live? is he next in line?
my brain points to yes! plus i noticed that his main goal after he was found out was to get the hell outta dodge, only to be shocked that his host had been compromised. he became way more aggressive (”gimme that!”) as well

Update on Skipp Normannson's trial
The court was adjourned late yesterday evening and will reconvene later in the afternoon today. The defendant has been offered the opportunity to have all charges dropped if he relinquishes custody of his Cubone (Sora) to the Petalburg Humane Society. The defendant has yet to accept the deal. His emotional outburst in response to the deal was a primary factor in adjourning the court. We do not expect him to accept.
As a reminder, Skipp Normannson currently faces a maximum sentence of 30 years in prison with deportation to Kanto. We will keep you updated as the trial resumes later today.
