New sans, new sans! Who is this guy, you might ask (or might not)?

His name is Borealis, and he’s a Timeline Traveller (Kind of like TK!Sans, as an example). A good chunk of his traveling experience is in the pursuit of Magical Knowledge, and one of the resulting places he eventually found himself in was the UnderCharged AU (hence his art being posted here instead of on my main blog). He’s a bit of a nerd, and has a hell of a collection of books stored in a Tower that now sits in a timeline that’s not even his home AU!

He has a brother who is a rival for one of the guardians (Lyor, who I haven’t posted here yet), and he has a pair of mothers (Both of them are Gasters from separate timelines, so he may not have a particular home AU to speak of anyway. oops?)!

I do hope you guys like him!

Bonus stuff - You can probably guess what this implies when you see these:

(Yes, Bori and Sparky are a thing - This was established in a friend’s server and I’m rolling with it C:)

Oh and Sparky’s adopted multiple characters in this one timeline. Why? Because WHY NOT. He retains his dad instincts from previous events but doesn’t remember any of it (In the previous timeline, he had two kids canonically, hence the mention)!

Here’s a little something involving the kids mildly lol (Just Sparky here, but it’s relevant to Bori I promise)

Bori was originally created to ship with Sparky specifically as I’ve wanted to pair Sparky with another character again for a while, but had a hard time settling on how to go about that until a friend or two mentioned the idea of creating one instead (I wouldn’t normally do this, but they helped me with the creation process through and through!) - From there, I built up what brought him to meet Sparky in the first place and then how they got together! (You’ll find out the details later, this is already getting to be pretty lengthy lol)

I was reading R&R and S&M and A&E and I was noticing that Nightmare has reasonable but firm expectations about how people should act in public parts of the castle. In their own rooms it’s kindof whatever (like how Dust destroys his personal room when he has an LV attack but everyone helps with Dish Duty in the kitchen)

So in R&R and in your associated works, what’s the Public Spaces Dress Code? No shoes on the nice carpet? Torsos need to be covered at all times? I mean prior to Ren it’s just SkeleGuys so theoretically they could all run around shirtless without showing off anything untoward but I kindof get the feeling that Nightmare Has Standards so… what are your thoughts about the Head-Shoulders-Knees-&-Toes Dress Code while in the R&R castle?

This is absolutely hilarious.

Nightmare does expect a certain level of decorum if they're going to be in a place where they might be seen by others. (Him, specifically.)

I included a throwaway line about the quarantine bathroom, I think, in chapter 21. Dust was not allowed in the rest of the castle until he and his clothing weren't dripping mud everywhere, so that's one of the hardline rules; do not track mud, blood, muck, dust, or viscera anywhere in the castle, or you will be cleaning it up yourself.

Other "dress code" rules include: -Must have at least shorts on in public areas. No one gives a hoot if you're shirtless, but pelvises are... still kind of an intimate area, even if there's no magic present. -If your shoes are dirty, don't wear them on carpet, hallway runners included. The castle might largely clean itself, but it's not instantaneous. Nightmare likes to keep a tidy environment. -No hats at the dinner table. Hoods are fine, since Dust prefers to keep his up. (Killer... has some hats he occasionally wears. None of them are especially flattering except for the newsboy hat.) -Do not walk around in just your socks. The castle has loads of hardwood and tilework, so that's begging to slip and split your skull open. (Not to mention the unknown nature of monster society and socks being intimate.) -Wear reasonable clothing. Shorts are fine. If you're in some ridiculous getup (Killer specifically has a hot dog costume he pilfered from some surface world during Halloween, and Axe has one of those inflatable dino-riding costumes) and he catches you, what happens to you is your own fault.

There are other rules regarding what can and cannot be done in public spaces (doubly so when a human comes along) so doing anything... intimate somewhere that they might get walked in on is... a very dangerous game. (I either wrote or eluded to something happening on a couch, and Nightmare finding out about it and insisting that both parties clean the entire room top to bottom because they know better. Cannot for the life of me remember where I put it. I wanna say it involved Cross?)

He doesn't expect a lot of decorum from his gaggle of idiots, but he does expect them to be respectful of common areas and those who may also inhabit them.

How would the skeleguys do with a stubborn s/o who's sick? Doesn't wanna stay n bed, take medicine, and will argue like '*pout*but I'm not sick' They're a little delerious and weak atm tho lol, so it's not much of a struggle.

Sans -keep asking if you're sure but if you want to be stubborn he’s not going to stop you. He will be keeping a close eye on you but unless you are in serious danger he won’t step in. You are capable of looking after yourself and if you say you're not sick he won’t do anything. 

Papyrus -You’re going to get a lecture about taking proper care of yourself as he directs you back to bed telling you that he will make you soup and that you are to rest. If you really don’t want to be sick then you need to take care of yourself and he is going to make sure that you do. 

Red -Acts like he believes you and is going along with what you are saying as he tricks you into taking your medicine and taking a nap with him to take care of you. Edge is pretty stubborn when he’s sick too so Red has figured out a bunch of work arounds where he practically tricks you into getting the rest you need. 

Edge -He will pick you up and carry you straight to bed. He is not letting you out when you are sick and if you keep it up you will be getting a lecture. He makes you a bunch of super healthy and delicious food though and with his persistence you're able to get better very quickly. 

Blue -you get a lecture right away and he will pick you up to take you back to bed. He does set you up with a cozy set up though and brings you food or anything you need. Actually he spoils you when you’re sick and it works out a lot better for you if you just admit that you are instead of trying to fight it. 

Orange -Keeps asking if you're sure but really he is enjoying watching you make a fool of yourself. Eventually he tricks you into taking a nap, eating some soup and taking your medicine and you have no idea how he’s done it, nor is he going to tell you his secrets and will fain his innocence. 

Berry -Yeah you're not getting away with your stubbornness. To be fair it does take Berry a while to notice you are sick but as soon as he does he is on top of it. He will force you to take care of yourself if he needs to but it’s painfully obvious how worried he is as he doesn’t leave your side. He’s scared you could fall down any time and is kicking himself for not noticing sooner. 

Syrup -He doesn’t want to fight you on this but his worry is clearly displayed on his skull. He will stick close to you just in case something happens and tries to convince you to take medicine or at least take it easy. If you push it too far he will put his foot down although he feels terrible about it as you obviously didn’t want to be sick.
