which six wigs from current productions are most different from each other for each role?

This depends on so many things. The wigs have to follow a certain style for each character and how different they can be from each other varies a lot between characters. Lenght, volume, styling, cut, color, hairtype, how much standarization there is. All affect the final look

I think it is:

Aragon: Aragon tour. This one is weird because both UK companies have very different styles for the principal and alternate, but all other alts and swings have almost identical styles. Broadway and Boleyn tour change lenght, volume and hairtype but styling is overall the same. Aragon tour has simmilar curl type for Kahlia, Kelly and Kelsee but a very distinct styling for each one plus marilyn who does have a simmilar styling to Kelsee but completely different hair type.

Boleyn: Broadway. Leandra makes them win this one on her own, but also Ayla has a different cut than Aubrey and Marilyn (and obviously a different hair type too).

Seymour: Aragon tour. For ANAT all three of them have different lenght, style and curls; both before and after Kelly and Kelsee got new wigs (and thats not even counting kelsee's ginger wig). I feel like WE and UKT should be in here too because both have very distinct styles for principal and alt and have at least one other alternate that should have a customized style (that hasn't debuted yet), but everyone else has the same just like for Aragon.

Cleves: Everyone (minus SK but I added them to the chart anyway). Cleves is the character that gets the most customization by far, and even when the base style is technically the same all read very different onstage. Even when NCS tries to give the alts a style that looks the same as the principal it ends up looking different.

Howard: broadway and only because of a technicality. Holli's wig is made to look like curly hair straightened while everyone else is just straight hair. Also I am not counting dye color in here because that is chosen to compliment the base haircolor so it is not an intentional difference. (And zoomed out photos because they all have different lenghts too)

Parr: All land companies. Parr does have four different base styles: side curly ponytail, side curls, regular ponytail and updo. But within those happens the same that happens with Cleves, even when the base is the same it looks different on everyone. WE has Roxanne in the ponytail, Leah in side curls, Monique in side curly ponytail and everyone else in different updos. UKT has a simmilar mix of side ponytail for Alana, side curls for Natalie and different updos for everyone else. Boleyn tour has two different side ponytails and two different regular ponytails. Aragon tour has Gabi's style and three different ponytails. Broadway has Taylors side swept curls, two very distinct side curly ponytails and one regular ponytail.

not to sound like someone who censors words a la “unalived” but I do have to say that I appreciate that mad men is deep thought provoking prestige tv I can enjoy without wondering who is going to be brutally murdered next

Looking at spider info for Spidey and the wiki says he has super jumping. Not just as a result of super strength/speed/agility, but as its own thing. Understandable since apparently jumping spiders make up the largest percentage of spider species!

Apparently they can jump up to 50x their own length. For Spidey that's 100 metres!! But the hilarious part is they manage to do that at such speeds by literally SHOVING THEIR BLOOD INTO THEIR LEGS for maximum thrust. And in humans that kind of rapid change causes momentary sight loss and dizziness.

Forget web slinging and aggressive reflexes, whenever someone startles Peter he blacks out and wakes up five streets over.

#Lowballing the streets tbh the average house is 16m long you could probably fit seven if he was by an open window XD #This happens at the speed of LIGHT. Imagine telling someone in 2020 that Gabriella Stylianou and Natalie Pilkington would be in the West End cast as swalts, Jade Marvin is in her 4th cruise cast, Abbi Hodgson debuted Parr, Courtney Mack and Natalie Paris were in the same US Tour cast together, Courtney Mack is currently principal Parr, Karis and Shannen hit swingo in a matter 2 months, the entire US Tour cast transferred to Broadway, a rehearsal swing is definitely going to hit swingo, and that going from principal - alternate is a regular occurrence nowadays.

Is Jade Marvin currently wearing her own Aragon skirt (ik it’s an entirely new costume, but i mean if the skirt was specifically made for Jade or someone else)? The open skirt gap is a lot smaller than usual, which makes me think it’s a bit big on her (or maybe that’s only in the pictures that we have of Jade’s costume)

I can see what you mean but I think the gap appearing smaller is a visual effect. Since reopening Aragon skirts have had a narrow gap; the earliest updated ones (Lauren, Jaye'j, Bliss 2.0) had a wider one. US, and by extension cruise, skirts have anything from almost closed at the top to roughly matching the front panel.

From Jade's three skirts, the current one has the narrowest gap overall, but it matches the ones in current US costumes. The major difference is the side of fthe front panel, which is wider than in any other skirt. This change could have happened for a couple of reasons: It was started for someone else and never finished. When it was refitted for Jade the front panel was either wide already and they didn't change it, or they had to add one wider than usual to compensate for a narrower skirt. Or it could be an alteration made for comfort; we know the queens get some input on how the costume fits, so it is always possible Jade requested a narrower gap.

But I think what makes Jade's skirt look so different is a matter of build. One of the things that gives the Aragon skirt its shape is that it starts at the waist and then flares over the hips. Jade has a smaller waist to hip ratio than most queens who have played Aragon so the skirt will look flatter on her body. It is a matter of build, and it has happened way more often with Howards where they have a more rectangular body shape so the skirt doesn't flare as much. If you compare either of Jade's skirts to others of the same era the difference is clearer. There arent enough photos to compare her first one but her second vs. both Melinda and Marilyn and her third vs. any current US. In both cases Jade's skirt looks flatter. And a flatter skirt would make the front panel look narrower.

So TLDR the gap on Jade's current skirt is not narrower than usual, but between the size of the front panels, and the way the skirt lays on her body it looks smaller than usual.
