- Wesley doesn’t actually feel as strongly about keeping Nel’Vari shut off from the world as he comes off — it’s just the only concept he’s ever known! But, I do think he’d be more interest in the types of goods it could bring to open up, versus the types of people (just how many types of honey exist outside of their little town???)

- Darius isn’t actually as much of a hardass as he makes himself seem. Idk what marriage is like with him, but up until then all that “grr u are MINE FOREVER” once you date him, and being super into being treated like royalty more than like a person and etc. is all just an act he puts on because he feels pressured to be more kingly or whatever before he takes the throne

- Vaan is naturally flirty with most people he meets, not just us. Probably had an encounter with Lynn at some point after landing on, like, her roof or something, where she nearly fainted from his ~smooth moves~. We’re just the only ones lucky enough for him to actually take serious interest in!

- TRANS XYLA TRANS XYLA TRANS XYLA

- Maybe it’s a hot take or maybe it’s not but I think Jun smokes mad weed. There’s no way he’s just that chill without it vheocjsmcys

- Donavon probably plays video games, considering how often he hangs out in the Withergate arcade, yeah? I think he’s got a soft spot for dating sims. But like, the typical anime-type more than games that just have dating aspects to them (like.. sun haven for example lmao). But he also mistook DDLC for an actual dating sim, wanted to romance Sayori, but then had nightmares for like a week after her event

- Kitty was an actual idol at some point, not just an amateur/hobbyist that performs local festivals and stuff. Maybe she was super popular in another country/province/whatever once? (I can’t remember if she’s lived in Sun Haven her whole life or not, but I’d like to think she did some traveling if so)

I was writing some angst for my OC from a roleplay I'm heavily involved in. This was from them recalling a memory where he and his father figure were escaping someone evil. It failed and they were torn apart (figuratively).

A thaumaturgist with a balance secondary is a seemingly odd combination. 

The ice wizards have prided themselves on their ability to be contained, to never show a moment of hesitation or fear. 

They have to unlearn that, when they decide to have a secondary in sorcery. They meditate, they think about who they are, why they are this way. Why they feel like they need to be the tank, to take the hits for the others. Why they feel like their death is worth a victorious battle.

Ice wizards with a balance secondary are some of the calmest, happiest wizards in the ice school. They’re relaxed, no longer worried about being the best, only about trying to accomplish their best. 

They’ve learned to balance school and social, questing and self care. They know now that too much work can be unhealthy, can wear them down more than any spell ever could. 

They’re still quiet, more watchful than before, but just as reserved. Slowly they learn to open up, to smile and react and sympathize with others, as opposed to just staying the same, the cold, blank face of a daunting glacier. 

Their shield repertoire expands and they can cast more powerful tower shields than ever. 

Their ice beetles and scorpions seem to merge into one dangerous being, and it quickly becomes a favorite spell, combining nostalgia of a novice level spell with the new excitement of learning balance magic.

They learn eventually. They learn how to be a good person, how that’s not always the easy or right thing to do. They learn more about hard choices than they ever would if they had stuck to one school. They learn about fairness and justice and how sometimes those things are unobtainable.

An ice wizard with a balance secondary is someone who learned how to be a damn good wizard.

I know you don't like Manlet Milo, but honestly, short men are hella cute, like idk what it is, but like the thought of Milo being short is adorable to me, like i'd like him to be like 5'7 at the least, so he's still a bit taller (i'm 5'3)but short boy would also be cute. But of course, I like the thought of tall Milo more, but short is also good!
