YOU KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS
welcome to sistervirtue dot tumblr dot com. those of you who have read my url...seen my icon...may be wondering: who is this woman? who is Sister Virtue?
as the @original-character-championship bracket begins, I would like to take the time to introduce you to her. go on. take a seat.

Sister Virtue is a not-quite woman not-quite of the cloth with a bit of a scowl and an unholy attitude problem. Formerly a cherub known as Theophania serving in the appellate choirs of heaven, she judged human souls and debated the dogma of heaven day in and day out.
Although a perfect machine of heaven, Theophania was not heartless. Through her friendship with the Archangel Gabriel, whom represents human souls and their interests in the courts of heaven, she learned about those she judged.
And I am going to let you in on a secret. Angels and demons are both creatures of passion, just their passion turns in different ways. Demons experience passion for the self. Angels turn their passion towards God. And for Theophania, her passion turned in a different way-- towards those silly little animals whom she watched day in and day out. (Even you!)
So when Gabriel came lamenting of the Seraphim's decision to bring forth the end of humanity, she may have done something a bit drastic. Drastic like stealing the Eye of God, an important artifact containing the summation of all knowledge, and then slamming it into her own skull in order to hold it hostage and kick up enough of a fuss that the angels acquiesced and agreed to come to some sort of truce. The ultimate blasphemy.
She would be felled. If she cared so much about those silly, stupid animals, she could spend the rest of eternity proving they were worth it. Shoved into a body made of flesh and her powers largely sealed behind seven penances, Sister Virtue is tasked with protecting humanity from all threats divine or diabolic. She cannot die; [officially banned to prevent any loopholes or complicated litigation later] but she can give up... but doing so would mean damning all of humanity in the entire process.
After crash-landing into a convent and taking the administrative lead of the attached school (now known as Eschaton Academy) Sister Virtue is establishing a network of those both blessed and possessed to aid her in the arduous process of keeping people safe, all while trying to figure out what it means to be human herself.
So Why should you vote for her?
Let's face it, we're not in high school any more.
Coming of age stories for teens are fun, but sometimes... you don't really start coming of age until your 20's, 30's, 40's... Virtue, 37 human years old, is here to show the journey of growing into your skin even if that comes after high school.
2. She's hot as hell.
A nun in her work uniform, Sister Virtue at heart is a truckin', smokin', wrestlin' uncle of a woman, and her casual attitude and casual attire reflect this. And let's face it. A woman who hates wearing shirts and has a happy trail is a god-sent gift for all of us.

3. She's just a bit weird.
She named her car (a self-"upgraded" hearse) the Popemobile. She smokes cigarettes because she likes the taste. She doesn't mind nudity, but gets shy eating in public because digestion is just a little too intimate for an angel. She loves paperwork. Sometimes she regurgitates the angel equivalent of a hairball.
4. Don't know about all this original universe lore? She's got a D&D Iteration.

5. She'd vote for you
At the end of the day, Sister Virtue is someone who runs on love. Love for all of humanity. Including you. Even if you don't believe in Virtue, virtue believes in you, and you should believe in you too.

Amedeo is a fucked up lil guy who has so many problems disorders. He loves love so much but never learned how love works so most people find him to be incredibly annoying! He's manipulated into hurting his friends by someone who told him she would help him with his friendship problems, but it only drove them away more, so much that he snapped and physically hurt some of them. So they left him. This made him useless to the person manipulating him, so she turned him into a demon, a mindless creature, and made him kill. He got better tho. He still has many problems disorders but he's getting therapy about it and is so sweet and kind now. I think he should win because he gives me massive gender envy and he's just like me fr fr. He's stupid as hell, he's slutty, he has committed atrocities, he gets beat up by a 7 year old, he's pathetic, he is a catboy, he's lovecore, he's my babygirl, he has a satisfying redemption arc but still he remains silly, every time people ask me about him I am typing for 2 hours, what else do you want
Sister Virtue - Theophania
she/her
She's a fallen angel who committed the ultimate blasphemy out of a deep love for all of humanity and who just wants to protect them but is also a smokin' truckin' fuckin' freak who fixes cars and uses Dr Bronners' 18-in-1. She's a milf she's an uncle she's a nun and most importantly she's an inverted Christ allegory. A nun who isn't rally a nun at all, with black hair that will perpetually suffer from looking like she cut it herself, one eye with eye bags for two, and a gauntness that makes her all angles. She's got a lined face and pale skin that discolors unevenly from all her time in the sun when she's not in uniform. Her fingernails are made of gold but the rest of her is just fleshy enough.

the mcu (mel cinematic universe) where all my main muses' modern verses are somehow connected, whether they know it or not (i somehow made swain the connecting thread........... shoutout to mirza tbh skdnfkasjdnf)
katarina ran away from home as a teen and swain adopted her and she's not an assassin but she could be because she definitely knows her way around weapons and was taught to fight. she definitely knows her dad (swain) was involved in messed up stuff but 🤷 she probably knows irelia in passing, both of them being really famous and in the music industry (doesn't know about her family and swain though). zed she probably has no idea who he is whatsoever tbh
irelia had her family murdered as a child by swain and whoever else he was with, and hacked at his arm with a knife in her attempt to escape which led to the lost arm. although she can recognize swain as one of the men who killed her family, she doesn't really know who he is, much less his connection to katarina (who, again, she probably only knows in passing). if we're considering cyn's kayn and the fact they're dating, zed is like, her father in law aksnfdkjfn regardless, they're from the same neighborhood and the murder of her family was part of the rise in criminal activity that led zed to take matters into his own hands
zed only knows katarina as the famous singer from some band, but he and swain are most definitely enemies (he doesn't care if the retired war vet left the life of crime behind he didn't pay for shit so the enmity remains). he started his criminal activities to look after the people around his area after the authorities simply looked away and let powerful people get away with things. so, you know, now he is one of the powerful criminals putting fear into people's hearts, unless they're his people, in which case he's looking after them ksdnfjnf like i said above, if we're considering cyn's kayn, then irelia is his son's girlfriend.

When Dan was upset with Nate for kissing Jenny, I think it was heartbreaking for Nate. He didn't see that coming from Dan. Love how Chuck is who he settles with lmao 😂 😂 😂.
ohhhh that confrontation BREAKS my heart too! I'll be honest, anon, I fast forward past it because it hurts me so.
I'm going to talk a bit about Catherine, so I am putting this under a cut so anyone who wants to scroll past can
it is such a gut punch, because Dan is the friend who sought Nate out and persisted in helping him after he initially refused it. Like remember the beginning of s2 when Chuck hears about his family's problems and just says "I'll fix it" but when Nate gets defensive Chuck is like "FiNe I dOn'T LoVe yOu EiThEr!" and then later Nate does the same thing with Dan, but the difference is Dan has a grown up that teaches him compassion. anyways that's just a parallel writing this response made me realize and now I want to scream into a pillow.
but really, to Nate, Dan is the generous guy, the kind one, the one who took him in and didn't care about all this moneyed bullshit (and Dan can't offer financial help but he offers Nate a home!!! brb screaming) and Nate thought 1) that he was safe with Dan and 2) that Dan didn't know the full extent of what went down with Catherine, but then Dan throws that knowledge back in his face as if it's proof that Nate isn't good enough to have a home with the Humphreys anymore (it isn't Natie! you are not the problem!!!)
and though I am a certified blorbo apologist, Dan was in the wrong here, and it hurts my heart. I like to make light of it by saying that he was just mad Nate kissed Jenny instead of him, but in all seriousness, that was a shitty thing he did to Nate, and it sucked.
and maybe with that, we have a canonical explanation of why Nate puts up with Chuck's awfulness. because whatever Nate has done while being backed into a corner, he knows Chuck won't hold it against him, or throw it back in his face. and, honestly, Nate knows Chuck's done worse. I don't think Nate is that conscious of it, but there's a safety in that moral superiority for him. That line delivered by Eric in s1: "Guy may have his faults, but he's never judged me."
But, sidenote: this is also indicative of Chuck's horrific double standards and misogyny because when Blair transgresses, he has no trouble holding it over her head for as long as he finds it entertaining.

I’m a bit obsessed with eyrie’s flaw and virtue of treating meteion not as a construct, but as a person
#it’s a virtue in how human it is to look at her and think of her as a another living being#but a flaw in not seeing her as a construct and their blindness to the pain she could inflict#they do realize in ktisis what she did#her being the catalyst to the destruction of her world and the death of her creator#not like they can change the past but it does change their outlook on her when they arrive in UT#and yet they cannot help but love her. they can’t help but see her as another being not unlike them#I think about Meteion and eyrie’s relationship being what could have been between Hermes and Meteion#Hermes no doubt felt great affection towards Meteion—he refers to the collective of them as sisters#it’s all very human in how he treats his creations#it’s just Hermes suffering under a society that places the good of the collective above the individual#and the lives of the individual are only there to improve the whole#without acknowledging that individuals create that whole#eyrie at times I feel like represents what Hermes could have been#how he could have flourished and loved#eyrie being distinct in being in a place where they are not confined but society and culture#endwalker spoilers#I’m goofy pool over eyrie and meteion what is new#oc: eyrie kisne
