Like a hole punch almost. instead of stretching out the septum piercing over a long time, and by extension, stretching the skin & changing the nose shape, just taking a stamp out of it so there's no stretching/shape change??

I’m sorry that (it seems like maybe) you’re getting negative responses to your writing!!! No one deserves that, including you.

To answer your question, I do, sometimes!! Not that frequently but it definitely sucks and I’m sorry if you’re going through that. Usually my solution is to vent to my friends (you’re welcome to vent to me ❤️). Sometimes when it becomes just too much I make shady and vague posts 😅 maybe not the most mature thing to do but hey ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ neither is leaving negative feedback.

I’m not going to tell you to ignore it or brush it off because that’s not realistic and I can’t do it. But at the same time, don’t waste your energy defending your writing, specifically. Your writing is good. Your story is good. Your ideas are good. It’s not about your writing, it’s about them being an asshole. The need to let a writer know that you don’t like their writing, or why you don’t like it, or what character/trope is making you not read it, is the stupidest and most obnoxious thing a reader can do in my opinion 🥰

Just like writers have a responsibility to tag things appropriately and accurately, readers have a responsibility to consume content that they want to consume. Or shut their mouths if they can’t do that lol.

If someone is leaving a negative comment on something you’ve worked hard on and decided to share, I say tell them to shut up and get out of your damn story. The decision to read your work is on them, and if you’re tagging appropriately, they have no grounds for complaints. “Don’t like, don’t read” as they say. But beyond that, I say “don’t like, be quiet and go away.” Saying negative things accomplishes nothing.
