I had the weirdest dream the other night...

Think I've been playing too much Forza Horizon on Xbox Game Pass because I'm dreaming about cars now. Had a dream I had like an advanced AI car kinda like KITT from the old TV show, Knight Rider.

I'm inserting a 'read more' for the 99.9% of people who don't want to read some random dude's weird dream online...

Alright, so in my dream I had some super sweet advanced AI car and drove to a bowling alley/ nightclub place (sounds like a lot straight outta my sims game) at midnight to do some midnight bowling. Apparently I was meeting up with the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 characters for a bowling tourney. While we were bowling I think some random dickwad insulted Nia or something because I remember getting really pissed off and took the dude's head and crushed it with my bare hands and his eyes popped out of his skull. It's a dream, an extremely violent dream at that, so anything goes I guess... (I blame all the recent Gears of War I've been playing for that part.)

Then a record scratch sound effect played and the music suddenly stopped as everyone started screaming when they noticed a dead guy with no head on the ground. Real "whoops" moment there. Nia told me we had to get the heck outta here before the cops showed up. I said, "Quick! Let's get to my car and we can hideout at my mountain house." (which yes, I do have a real family-owned mountain vacation house.) We ran out the door to my car and slid across the hood all Dukes of Hazzard style.

Got in and realized my steering wheel was a Gamecube controller... yeah, I guess cause I've been driving cars in Forza Horizon with a video game controller automatically means my dream car has to have one too. Kinda like Gizmo in Teen Titans when he steals Cyborg's T-Car and installs a game controller to steer it.

I rather quickly realized driving a car with a control stick isn't easy. Figured since my car was an AI, I just told it to set a course for my mountain house and it drove itself there. Turns out I had tons of cool snacks and stuff stashed under my seat like Cheez-Its and other junk food. I remember Nia making a remark like, "you actually eat that junk?" and I'm like yeah, who doesn't love Cheez-Its? Then I turned on some Synthwave music and enjoyed the midnight ride. Dream got really synth-y there.

Eventually I arrived at my cabin (which oddly looked nothing like my real cabin) where I met up with the other XC2 characters. There I lived out the rest of my life hiding from the law deep in the mountains with a bunch of anime characters (still not too far off from my Sims game either, to be honest. Aside from the murder and hiding from the law part.)

Weeeeird dream. Not sure why I shared this... I think cause I have a lot of odd dreams, but this one had an overarching story to it and wasn't randomness like my usually dreams and I thought it was mildy entertaining. I swear my blog isn't going to be a dream blog now. All in all though, I think my subconscious is telling me I need an advanced AI synthwave car to find true happiness in life (and cool anime friends would be nice too.)

Conflicts? LittleMsSam has a breakthrough fix in her Random Bug Fix mod package... I have included something similar due to the nature of this mod. As I'm sure you do not want all your sims experiencing eureka. Any sim who has already experienced breakthroughs will stop upon installing this mod. I also removed the scientist debug menu I originally included as I still haven't figured out how to properly implement it. If you wish to have your sim learn all the recipes for their notebook you can use MCCC to do so. However, the breakthroughs and notebook recipes are not needed to craft any of the inventions or serums.

Most likely this entire mod requires the Get to Work expansion, it just removes the location, career, and age restrictions.

Well you have the solar panels on top for the recycling machine, otherwise the candles set a very cozy and rustic atmosphere! As for plumbing and appliances, we used “eco friendly” items we have found around, they work enough to take care of your needs. So whether your sim likes to live the freegan eco lifestyle or needs a big passion project or even if they need a place to hideout this is the place for them!

Lt. Conley was full of praise for Connor’s work with the Sherwood teens. They were regularly attending summer school now and the presumed booze they’d brought to their hideout at Belle Isle (where alcohol was forbidden period, for all ages) turned out to be only root beer. The RK800 was doing wonders with these kids.

Up in their tower and in Zen Garden, however, CyberLife upper management was fuming. The company was testing an advanced crime solving device here, not a digital social worker! After a long talk with Lt. Conley it was decided to transfer Connor to a different department after Labor Day (a decision that the android remained blissfully unaware of).

On a sidenote, although she never officially joined the “Merry Men”, in the last week of August Amy became their Maid Marian.

I have already decided what the kids will be/do in the 2049 save. (And since I suspect that I’m extremely predictable in my fics, you’all probably know it, too.) It’ll be fun to watch them meet Connor again in their new roles. Fun for me, that is, less so for my sims.

In Nobody-Cares-News this week, we have Balkar attending a party in town and getting terrorized by a zombie. He shrieks and screeches in utter dismay. A few hours later, right after he completes his LTW, filled with plans and hopes for Generation 2, I manage to effectively destroy all my rotational saves of Auracy Challenge. Of course, I receive some help from the game called The Sims™ 3!

Yet the responsibility is solely mine. I got cocky and relaxed... a bit too much. We all know how unforgivable of a sin it is in The Sims 3 universe.

As expected I am dispirited and distraught. Not only did I lose a month's worth of gameplay, but also the lots I built. The Bookstore, The Bistro and The Teen Hideout - my favourite. Also Verona, Wira and Vesta are no more. I only have the couple and the 5 cats in my library; tried every spoken and unspoken method out there. I only have .bad folders. I even managed to open my neighbourhood in CAW and saw what 'corrupted' really meant with my own eyes. I have to accept defeat.

At least for now, this is the last update on The Lightfoots. All in all, I think Balkar has been a good founder for this legacy and played his part accordingly. He's been fun to play with. I have other projects/ideas I've been putting off in favour of the Auracy Challenge. Now I'll be doing those, expecting better results. 🤞
