The Luna Legacy Challenge

🌙Hello I created a brand new Sims 4 Legacy Challenge!🌙

8 generations for the 8 phases of the moon.

I made easy to use Rules Graphic Cards

General Rules:

No cheats unless it makes sense for the story.

You can use “freerealestate on” when starting gen 1 only.

Each career and aspiration must be completed unless stated otherwise.

You choose which child is the heir unless stated otherwise.

Randomize toddler traits unless stated otherwise.

Keep your sims out of the spotlight unless stated otherwise (GF).

You can only do two odd jobs per week for extra cash unless stated otherwise (IL).

Have a legacy graveyard where all the members of your legacy will be buried.

This challenge utilizes different packs mostly notated in parenthesis throughout.

If you don’t have a suggested pack, modify the rule or just skip it.

Optional Pet Legacy (C&D):

Start with or adopt a pet.

Pet should have at least one offspring to be their heir.

Continue pet legacy until you complete this challenge.

Generation 1: New Moon 🌑

“A time of new beginnings”

Your marriage has been on the rocks for a long time and you’ve reached your breaking point. This was the last straw. There’s only so much a sim can take. You recently started saving money in case of an emergency and as far as you’re concerned, tonight is an emergency! You need to get out of this marriage and this house immediately. You hurry and pack a bag for you and your child and leave in the middle of the night. What they did is unforgivable. It is time to let go of the toxicity and begin a new life for yourself.

Aspiration: Successful Lineage

Career: Two part time jobs

Traits: Neat, Hot-Headed, You Choose

Rules:

Your founder is a sim who can get pregnant.

You are married with one child.

Get a divorce.

Take your child and move out.

You have $500 and whatever you brought in your travel bag.

You are now homeless. Choose one or more of the following:

Move onto an empty lot (Cannot build on it).

Stay at a motel (Must deduct $50 per night).

Move into a homeless shelter (You can stay for free up to one week).

Get into a custody battle with your ex (Modded: Lumpinou’s Relationship and Pregnancy Overhaul to determine outcome).

Woohoo with your ex one last time in a moment of weakness which results in a pregnancy. You keep the baby (This is the heir for Gen 2).

Never become romantically involved with your ex again.

Get two part time jobs.

Move into an unfurnished apartment that costs $1,000 or less (BG: start building on your empty lot when you have at least $1,000 saved up).

Go to the flea market every other Sunday to buy and sell (CiL).

Be a strict parent.

As an elder, fall in love with someone you meet at the flea market and get remarried at the romance festival.

Live out your twilight years retired and happy with your new soulmate.

Generation 2: Waxing Crescent 🌒

“It’s time to work toward those intentions”

You were raised by a very strict parent. They desperately wanted you to have a more successful life than theirs. They taught you to work hard and have ambitious goals. Failure was not an option. This didn’t leave much time for a social life. You were bullied in school for being smart, socially awkward, and having “no sense of style”. But hard work pays off in the end. Who’s laughing now?

Child Aspiration: Whiz Kid

Aspiration: Fabulously Wealthy

Career: Law (DU) or Business

Traits: Ambitious, Loner, Clumsy

Rules:

You can never have any friends outside your family.

You're a workaholic.

You are aromantic and asexual (you have no interest in romantic or sexual relationships).

Strive for straight As in all of your classes.

Reach rank 3 in a part time job as a teen.

Receive at least one scholarship.

Get into Britechester and live in a dorm.

Earn a language and literature degree

Get a job in Law and choose the private attorney branch.

Buy a 4 bedroom house for yourself. Move your parent and step-parent in with you.

Agree to speak to your other biological parent for the first time as an adult.

Bail your sibling out of jail and let them stay with you until they can get a job and move out.

Quit your job after reaching level 10 in your career. Money can’t buy happiness.

Adopt twins and spend all your time being the best parent you can be.

You have never known a love as great as caring for your children. This is what your life was missing all along.

Generation 3: First Quarter 🌓

“Now’s the time to make decisions”

You grew up in a loving home without ever wanting for anything but now it’s time to find your purpose in life. You are popular, beautiful, wealthy, and naturally talented. Every sim wants to be you or be with you. You and your friends love to party. While your twin marries their childhood sweetheart and moves away as a young adult, you are too busy having fun. You can’t imagine staying in one place for too long.

Child Aspiration: Social Butterfly

Aspiration: Serial Romantic

Career: Style Influencer (Modded Option: Shear Brilliance)

Traits: Noncommittal, Hates Children, Self Absorbed (GF) or Materialistic

Collection: Seashells

Rules:

This heir is a sim who can get pregnant.

You can step into the spotlight for this generation (GF).

Your twin will always be your best friend. Always accept invitations from them to hang out

Have a group of pretty friends that you go out with every Friday night.

Get pregnant on prom night. Lose the baby (modded: abortion or miscarriage).

Reach level 2 and quit at least 3 different careers before deciding on your dream job as a style influencer.

Cheat on every sim you get into a relationship with and then break up with them.

Get pregnant 4 more times during one night stands with random sims you don't even remember. Put one baby up for adoption and leave the rest with your parent to raise.

Fall in love, get engaged, and then ghost them.

Live in 3 different worlds before settling down in Sulani (IL).

Change noncommittal trait to child of the islands trait (IL).

Collect seashells (IL).

Fall in love with a mermaid and turn into one. You were never part of this world (IL).

Generation 4: Waxing Gibbous 🌔

“Assessing situations and discussing our feelings is a key focus”

You never really knew your biological parents. One was so self absorbed they basically abandoned you and the other is a complete mystery. It could be anyone based on the stories you’ve heard. Your grandparent raised you like their own with all the love they had and when they passed you felt more alone than ever. You never really got along with your siblings. The ones you actually know of are both very different from you and you just never connected with them. You are what some might call the black sheep. You have a lot of feelings that you just don’t think anyone could ever understand. You think of yourself as unlovable and unwanted. Ironically, you have many adoring fans who love you and your melancholy music. Your poetry expresses what others are feeling deep within their souls and your music is hauntingly beautiful. If only you could love yourself the way others love you. 🎵I know I’m unlovable, you don’t have to tell me. I don’t have much in my life, but take it it’s yours🎵

Child Aspiration: Artistic Prodigy

After School Activities: Drama Club

Aspiration: Musical Genius

Career: Entertainer

Traits: Gloomy, Music Lover, Vegetarian

Collection: City Posters (CiL).

Rules:

You can step into the spotlight for this generation (GF).

You and your friends are a group of misfits.

Collect city posters and hang them all over your room (CiL).

Music is your true escape.

Always try to create something when you are sad (ex. paint, write, play music, etc.)

Cover your body in tattoos that express who you are.

Get a job as an entertainer and choose the musician branch.

Fall in love with a celebrity, get engaged, and catch them making out with one of your siblings on your wedding day.

Get drunk at a bar and get into a fight with a random stranger.

Have meaningless woohoo with 5 different fans and don’t ever call them back.

Fall in love with someone from your childhood. Your soulmate was right there all along.

Get engaged for the second time and move in together.

Elope in the Sylvan Glade then go on honeymoon to Selvadorada.

Bring home a souvenir that you and your partner will cherish always.

Have two beautiful children.

Go on family camping trips to Granite Falls every summer.

Generation 5: Full Moon 🌕

"Howl at the moon…Awooooo!"

Your parents truly are soulmates. You hope to one day find a love as fierce and passionate as theirs. You are quiet and soft spoken but you have a huge imagination which pours onto the page every time you sit down to write another best-selling novel. Your family goes camping every summer and it is truly your favorite tradition. You love being outside and exploring. Nature has always called to you. You decide to move out right after high school and begin an adventure all your own.

Child Aspiration: Rambunctious Scamp

After School Activities: Scout

Aspiration: Bestselling Author then Werewolf Initiate

Career: Writer

Traits: Bookworm, Romantic, Loves Outdoors

Collection: Insects and Fish

Rules:

Choose the author branch of the writer career.

Move into a small remote trailer in Moonwood Mill as soon as you become a young adult.

Write romance novels under a pseudonym so you never become famous. The spotlight isn’t for you. You prefer a life of seclusion and harmony amongst nature.

Become a werewolf and find your fated mate.

Write the Book of Life and use it to “capture epic saga” of your fated mate.

Have as many babies as you want.

Your mate dies in a tragic way but you resurrect them with the Book of Life.

Generation 6: Waning Gibbous 🌖

“Expressing gratitude is essential”

You have an appreciation for all life and and you are thankful for every experience you have. You believe in looking on the bright side of every situation and understand that life is a never ending cycle. You ride the ups and downs like a wave and look inward to find your inner peace and strength. You do not see lycanthropy as a curse but you have experienced and embraced it and now it is time to let go and move on as you have taken stock and decided that being a werewolf is not for you. You seek a different path. One that helps bring positive peaceful change to the environment.

Aspiration: Cure Seeker then Inner Peace

Career: Conservationist or Civil Designer

Traits: Recycle Disciple, Good, You Choose

Collection: Postcards and Crystals

Rules:

Keep a journal through all life stages (PH).

You dress like a modern hippie / bohemian style.

Keep crystals in every room of your house and burn incense regularly.

Never go out to eat. Always cook your own meals.

Have a garden and grow your own vegetables.

Buy a chicken for fresh eggs (CoL).

Volunteer and donate to charity once a week.

Participate in protests.

Always vote on neighborhood action plans.

Not too proud to dumpster dive for deals. One sim’s trash is another sim’s treasure.

Have a long distance relationship with someone over the internet.

Don’t meet them in person until you become best friends.

Oh No! You’ve been catfished! This person does NOT look like their online profile photo.

Will you forgive them and learn to love this person despite the betrayal? Or will you accept the loss as an opportunity for growth and guide them out of your life forever?

Have a beach wedding as an adult. (Modded: Use Lumpinou’s Open Love Life mod to have an open marriage with your partner and become a thrupple).

Have at least 4 children.

Retire from your career as an elder. Have a big retirement party.

Become a yoga instructor because a body in motion stays in motion.

Generation 7: Third Quarter 🌗

“Time to clean out that which no longer serves us”

All of this hippy BS makes you sick! The world is not all rainbows and sunshine. There is so much darkness lurking around every corner and it needs to be eradicated. People might call you crazy but you’re not crazy, they’re the crazy ones for believing all the lies. They don’t understand the truth but it’s out there and you’re going to uncover it.

Aspiration: You Choose or Chosen (Modded: Vampire Slayer ) then Good Vampire

Career: Detective

Traits: Erratic, Mean, You Choose or Vampire Slayer (Modded: Vampire Slayer)

Skills: Vampire Lore

Rules:

As a teenager, your sibling is found dead in their room.

They were troubled so everyone started calling it “the accident.”

You refuse to believe that. You need the truth. This isn't right. They wouldn’t have…It had to be…MURDER!

Everyone thinks you are losing your mind because of the tragedy but you know you’re not crazy and you’re going to prove it.

You become a detective.

Learn everything you can about vampires.

Question and then kill 5 vampires (You can use mods, lure them into the sun, or force them to drink a cure).

After reaching the top of your career, you finally discover it was Vlad who killed your sibling.

Have an ultimate showdown with Vlad.

He bites you before you kill him.

You are now a vampire. Take the Good Vampire aspiration.

Fall in love with a sim who asks you to turn them. You are reluctant but eventually agree.

Get married and live in Forgotten Hollow.

Have twins. One child is a vampire and the other isn’t (The human child is the heir).

Your spouse leaves you for another vampire.

You are so heartbroken that you walk into the sun and let your vampire energy drain.

Your children go to live with another family member.

Generation 8: Waning Crescent 🌘

“This is the last lunar phase before a new cycle begins. Therefore, it’s a time when we need to be still and at peace.”

Are you a good witch or a bad witch some might ask but that’s a silly question. The world is not black or white but many shades of gray. You are who you are and you live every day to your fullest potential. You’ve heard the stories passed down through the generations and you’ve seen things no one else would believe. After all, vampires aren’t real. Yet your lineage stems from a survivor, a genius, a mermaid, a poet, a werewolf, a hippy, and yes, a vampire. Their blood, their stories, they live through you. You keep them alive. You are their legacy.

Aspiration: Purveyor of Potions (RoM)

Career: Paranormal Investigator (PS)

Traits: Cheerful, Maker, Cat Lover

Collection: Sugar Skulls

Rules:

Move into a haunted house with a “cat hangout” lot trait.

Leave food out for the stray cats every day.

Summon Bonehilda.

Cleanse your house.

Make and sell candles.

Visit the graves of your ancestors on a regular basis. Especially on Dia De Los Muertos, a special time to honor and remember them (If you have Seasons: add Day of the Dead to your calendar in Fall).

Give a friendly introduction to every ghost you see. Those that came before you are to be respected and honored.

Live a peaceful quiet life in seclusion.

Fall in love with and marry The Hermit (OR).

Never have any children.

Write a novel about your family history. Never publish it. Just keep it for yourself and for whoever finds it someday.

You pass away peacefully of old age and natural causes without fear because you have seen life after death and you know your spirit will live on. Soon you and all of your ancestors will be together again under a New Moon.

I won't be tagging anyone because I do not have 15 friends lol

Time to overshare

1. Are you named after anyone?

Nope. But I do think they got my 2nd name from a song, but I don't remember which one. They just liked my name I guess (I don't, which is why I go by my 2nd online)

2. When was the last time you cried?

Uhh yesterday or the day before. My memory is pretty bad lately. But I'm not doing so great and I keep getting knocked down when I think I can get up, and this week was a wreck

3. Do you have kids

Does my cat count? She sure acts like a little kid sometimes. Other than that, no. And I don't think I will. Not only does pregnancy scare the crap out of me, I do not have great genetics. I already struggle with my genetic disabilities and disorders, I don't want to be the reason someone else goes through the same as me. Plus, I don't think I'd be a good parent because I already get overstimulated when my cat begs for dinner an hour early.

4. What sports do you play/have you played

I used to dance. Started with jazz balet but my body type wasn't good for it - I could not do the split and stuff. I did win 2nd place before I moved to street dance. But then my parents got divorced and I moved, never picked it up again. I've never found a sport that I like enough to do. Maybe basketball, but I'm too small and can barely run so that's not happening

5. Do you use sarcasm

I do, but people never seem to know it is sarcasm and think I'm actually serious. It's like they pull an uno reverse card because I usually don't understand jokes and take them seriously

6. What is the first thing you notice about people?

Uh, I don't know. I tend to be uncomfortable around new people. Maybe their face? Idk.

7. What is your eye color

Green, currently. For some reason they keep changing. I was born with bright blue eyes - I'm talking Luke Hemmings bright blue eyes, maybe even lighter. Then as a child they changed to green. I used to love my light green eyes, but then they got darker. Now they seem to be green but turning grey-ish as well

8. Scary movies or happy endings

Happy endings. Duh

9. Any talents?

I am the insecure type of person who would say no, but I know I'd get people to say 'no you're a talented writer', so I'm gonna go ahead and say writing

10. Where were you born

Look, the Netherlands is a small country, so I'm not gonna say the town. But I will say it was in the province Friesland (Frisia/Fryslân) and in a big town (Frisian standards) that would’ve been a city if city rights still existed in my country. Oh and it's pretty known in the sports world.

11. What are your hobbies?

Writing, reading, watching shows, listening to music, play the sims. Oh and sleeping.

Yes I am lazy and I don't care

12. Do you have any pets?

My cat and she is the love of my life. Idk how I will live once I move out because chances are I can't take her with me

13. How tall are you?

I haven't really measured since I was 16, but I think around 168 cm.

14. Favorite subject in school?

I'd say English - it's different than the English classes in the US and UK - but tbh it was pretty boring because I was always levels ahead of my class. In the end, I loved social science a lot.

15. Dream job

Published author. But it doesn't pay shit in my country. Also, I can't travel and most book deals require you to be willing to travel for promotions in the Netherlands and Belgium

So I guess the next best thing would be anything to do with English. Maybe translating work like books or subtitles for shows because those are never accurate here.

Disney Villains Legacy Challenge

Although there was already one that someone posted, it wasn't as fleshed out as I would've liked... I've compiled a list of villains in order of appearance.. 10 generations starting with the evil queen, and ending with scar... Optional generations as well such....

Disney Villains Legacy Challenge

This is another one that I’ve wanted to do for a while. However, I am well aware that there is one of these out there, but this one is going to be different. This is a generational legacy challenge with villains from almost every single movie in Disney’s catalog (I say almost every single movie because of the fact that I hand picked the villains and left out any villains from movies that I haven’t seen, or animals that wouldn’t work in human form. If your favorite Disney villain is missing, you’re more than free to add him/her to your game). You can do these in any order, and the legacy rules apply, but with some room for cheats (money cheats only) and pregnancy mods (mainly because I like using them, especially with gender-specific heirs)

Generation 1: The Evil Queen

“Mirror Mirror, on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?”

The game starts with the Evil Queen as the founder. You are vain and envious of sims that are prettier than you. Your one main goal is to be the most beautiful in the land.

Must have Mansion Baron aspiration

Must have Jealous, Evil, and Materialistic traits.

Must max out Charisma skill

Marry a rich man, and become a stepmother to his daughter.

Have 1 biological child by your husband. (Daughter preferred for Lady Tremaine, but up to you)

Stepdaughter is responsible for the cooking and the cleaning (Neat and Foodie traits)

Husband must die when the stepdaughter becomes a teen

Optional Pack: Realm of Magic

Generation 2: Lady Tremaine

“You clumsy little fool. Clean that up then help my daughters dress.”

Being the only child of your family, you were spoiled and given the world. Used to not working hard labor, your main goal is finding a wealthy husband, and making sure your daughters are taken care of for the rest of your life. Your story begins when you reach Young Adult.

Must have Fabulously Wealthy aspiration

Must have Jealous and Mean traits.

Must marry twice to rich men.

Must have 3 biological daughters, and 1 stepdaughter.

The stepdaughter will be responsible for the cooking and cleaning (Foodie and Neat traits)

Must lose husbands once daughters become children

2 of your biological daughters must have the Lazy and Materialistic traits

Optional Pack: Cats & Dogs (Lucifer)

Generation 3: Queen of Hearts

Sims 4 Fontenot Legacy - Break Leads to Connection

In the afternoon, there's a knock on the door from a familiar face.

Sabrina: Marquise! Didn't expect to see you today!

Marquise: Just figured I'd pop by. How's Juno?

Sabrina: Oh he's fine. Doing what babies do best. I was enjoying some time out by the pool while he naps, soaking in the last bits of summer.

Marquise: Sounds nice. You know, I've been thinking... We really haven't had a lot of time to get to know each other. Things sort of got in the way.

Sabrina: I know what you mean. Between college drama, then the pregnancy, it seems like we've never really had a chance to figure out what... this is.

Marquise: Well how about we try changing that a bit? We can go to a bar, have a drink and chat. Doesn't have to be a date. Just... Juno's parents having a night out.

Sabrina: I don't know... I haven't really left Juno...

Marquise: Come on, one evening? Your mom could take care of him for a few hours.

Sabrina: Well... okay. Just let me get dressed and make the arrangements.

So Juno's parents change into something a little cooler for a chill evening out. Sabrina sits and orders drinks for the two of them, and they chat while they wait.

Sabrina: You know, I'm glad you convinced me to come out tonight. It's nice to be around adults. I mean, I didn't really have a lot of time after college to just be by myself. Juno happened so quickly and unexpectedly... I don't regret him, but... you know.

Marquise: Totally. The cards for us have never seemed to align. Time hasn't been on our side. I can only imagine how crazy things have been. You're really strong, Sabrina. I've always seen that in you.

Sabrina: You have?

Marquise: Of course. From the first time I met you. Nursing a hangover from a rager the night before. Giving that guy a piece of your mind. You've never held back. Always full of passion. Spirit. It's what attracted me to you.

Sabrina: Marquise...

Marquise: Look, I know what this is. I know that this is as far as it's going to go. I just want you to know, I care for you. You and Juno. And no matter what, I'm gonna be here. Even if it's not in the way I was hoping.

Sabrina: I mean, but who knows what the future holds, right?

Marquise simply smiles.

Sabrina and Marquise sit and chat for a good amount of time. People come and go, drinks fill and empty, and after a couple Sabrina is feeling the effects.

Just as Marquise steps off to go to the bathroom, Sabrina gets a funny feeling. When they turn, they understand why. A familiar mop of hair. Their body moves on autopilot. They're walking over, drink in hand before they have time to think about it.

Beau: ...Sabrina?

Sabrina: Hi, Beau.

Mega Challenge Rules/Guide part 2

Lol so annoyed, I had this completely edited when Tumblr crapped out. Take 2 of rules part 2.

The “Mega Challenge” is basically a combination of four(ish) challenges. I go into what those four challenges are in part I, which is here, was getting way too long….

This post is to sort out the two major challenges that I'm combining/modifying (so I can try to achieve both) which are the Rags to Riches challenge (original here: https://snootysims.com/wiki/sims-4/rags-to-riches-challenge/)

Rules/Details

Modifications to RTR and 100BB

So rags to riches (RTR) and the 100 Baby (100BB) challenges are pretty well known, but if you’ve done both you’ll find they have contradictory rules, so I’m modifying the rules so I can keep the spirit of each of the challenges, and make it more realistic. I’m not 100% sure how I’m going to do this... I think I’ll just list the standard rules then note any changes when they come up.... I think I’m also going to remove any rules that simply don’t apply (e,g, restrictions for expansions I don’t - and don’t plan to - have)

Rags to Riches:

Main goal: Start with no money and work your way up to having a decent home (with at least (3) bedrooms, two (2) bathrooms, A kitchen and a dining room, A family or living room, A study with at least one (1) computer, An outdoor garden with a pool), reaching level 10 of any career, getting the entrepreneurial trait, Get married, Become a grandparent, Complete at least one Aspiration for your Sim and its spouse, Complete an Aspiration for each of your Sim’s children. Increase your home’s worth to §100,000 or more. Have at least §1,000,000 reserve money.

(Actual steps and optional Goals listed below in the RTR details)

There aren’t many changes, except....

- you can keep money from hobbies (since the money is halved anyway).

- To get a job you need to pay 10,000 Simoleons for college (not 1000), or complete a degree through Discover University or ItaSan2’s “get to college” mod ( https://www.tumblr.com/itasan2/174525948533/get-to-college-mod-v2-updated-by-itasan2-caution ).

- You can enroll in college as long as you can afford the application fee and you do not have any outstanding daily payments on your lot loan.

- When you move into a lot you not only need to set your funds to 0, but you also need to take out a loan (LMS’s ATM mod) approximate to the amount the lot is worth.

- You must pay a 10% penalty on any outstanding loan principal every 2 weeks.

100 Baby Challenge Changes: Main goal - have 100 babies in as few generations as possible, without using the same man for more than one pregnancy.

...side note....within the original ruleset the fewest generations this can be done in is.... ONE, since your sims don’t age during pregnancy. So it’s honestly not even a challenge, just a grind. By combining it with rags to riches (so a lot of time spent without a house or a bed) and carls difficulty/gameplay mod (which reduces relationship gains) I’m interested to see how many generations it takes....

Changes: There are a lot more to this one, and some are just specifications....

- One thousand simoleons must be moved into the adult household your child moves into. You cannot move an adult if you do not have the funds

-The matriarch can hold any type of job

-The matriarch can NOT leave the lot freely - paid childcare must be arranged for any children younger than teenager (daycare or babysitter)

-If a sibling (teenager or older) watches their siblings they must be paid 50 simoleons the first hour then 25 simoleons for each subsequent consequtive hour. The same sibling cannot babysit for more than three days each week. The funds will be deducted by the household funds. (3 hrs = 100, 5= 150, 7=200, 9=250) Nannies may be hired at 100 simoleons the first hour and 50 each subsequent consecutive hour. Daycare may be used at a cost of 200 simoleons a day for the first child + 100 each additional child.

-The matriarch may make money in any manner.

-The matriarch cannot marry a man when she is of child-bearing age

-If the matriarch gets married, she does not have to move out (RTR requires marriage and spouse aspirations, so....)

-Little Ms Sam’s genderchance mod will be used so foods and music do not have an effect on gender (useful in RTR when all you have to eat are foraged strawberries...)

-Children’s aspirations CAN be selected if they match a trait (which was randomized) - eg. if a child has the “slob” trait then “Fabulously Filthy” could be chosen.... Child Aspirations must be chosen at random if there is not a clear trait link.

-A trait re-roll is allowed only if a potential matriarch gets the “hates children” trait. ....It’s just mean otherwise :( A girl is considered a potential matriarch if the current matriarch is within a week of aging to elder and there are no younger girls.

All in-game rewards from completing aspirations and social events may be used except ones that prolong your Sim’s lifespan or save them from death.

Babies cannot be aged up until you get a notification saying that it is their birthday. Toddlers can be aged up when they reach level 3 in all toddler skills. Children and can be aged up when they get an A in school Teenagers may be aged up when they have an A in school and at least one character value within trait range. Your matriarch must always stop whatever she is doing and go scold/punish her children as you see fit if you catch them misbehaving. Young adults can be moved out of the house to make room for more children but they cannot be moved back in after. When your matriarch becomes an elder and can no longer bear children, her youngest daughter takes over as the next matriarch. You may move out your elderly matriarch only if her youngest daughter has become a young adult. You cannot make more room in the house faster by killing off underage Sims or letting babies, toddlers or children be taken by social services. Raise your children to adulthood. Simple. Your matriarch may register as self-employed or have a work from home career, but cannot have any job that requires her to go to a rabbithole destination. She cannot have a part-time job. Teenagers may hold part-time jobs to help support the family and bring in extra income. Your matriarch may leave her home lot freely. She does not have to bring all her children with her whenever she leaves the lot. Your matriarch may not get married to a man while she is of child-bearing age. She may get married as an elder but she must move out of the home with her spouse. They can’t move into the active household. Your matriarch may not get pregnant by the same donor twice. Once he has impregnated your Sim once, he cannot be used again for more children. Donors may not contribute to the household in any way. They may not move in, help look after the children or provide any financial aid to the household. Your matriarch is responsible for supporting all her children by herself. Your matriarch may not influence the gender of her children. Strawberries, carrots, pop music, and alternative music must be avoided if they would influence the gender of unborn babies (or Little Ms. Sam's remove genderchance mod must be used). Use the in-game randomiser to select all the children’s traits as they age. You cannot cherry pick their traits.

RTR specific steps:

You must play with aging on and set to a normal lifespan. Move your Sim to the most expensive empty lot and get rid of the Simoleons and possessions you have. Sleep in public areas or a friend’s home if you don’t own a bed. You can eat and make dishes in public places or your friend’s home, but taking the food with you when you leave is not allowed. Build a Home: Level 5 Handiness Skill and Level 3 Logic Pay a fine of $500 for noise disturbances - if downloading a home pay at least 20% and take out a loan for remainder (You can only place things at your Sim’s lot after completing the Mandatory Rules for Building a Home.)

Garden: Finish all the Mandatory Steps for Building a Home. Reach Level 7 Handiness and Level 5 Gardening before you can begin building or placing items outside. Have at least one (1) bedroom with a bed, a bathroom with a toilet and shower, a living room, and a kitchen. Own at least one of each of the following: fridge, sink, stove, counter, table, chair, couch, and fire alarm. Blueprint cost $500.

Career: Finish all the Mandatory Steps for Building a Home. Pay 10,000 Simoleons or complete a college degree (GTC or CL) to begin your career.

Start a family: You must have a starter home before you can marry a Sim. Host a wedding every time a pair of Sims get married.

Goal: At least three (3) bedrooms, At least two (2) bathrooms, A kitchen and a dining room, A family or living room, A study with at least one (1) computer, An outdoor garden with a pool Choose any career or run a business. Earn the Entrepreneurial lifetime award. Reach level 10 of the chosen career branch. If running a business: earn $100,000 with fully-trained employees. Get married. Become a grandparent. Complete at least one Aspiration for your Sim and its spouse. Complete an Aspiration for each of your Sim’s children. Increase your home’s worth to §100,000 or more. Have at least §200,000 reserve money. You can increase this goal up to §1,000,000.

Optional: Family And Relationships Have at least three more children and at least three more grandchildren. Have at least one child and its children live with your starter Sim. Get a divorce and remarry after you have kids. Keep the kids after the divorce. Have an amazing relationship with your kids. Woohoo in every place possible. Complete one of your children’s adult aspirations. Complete one of your grandchildren’s child aspirations. Complete one of your grandchildren’s adult aspirations. Have twins or triplets. Skills And Career Get both your Sim and its spouse to Level 10 in their career. Have a part-time hobby while employed. Write every style book. Read every book. Reach Level 5 at all skills House Place at least five (5) of your paintings on the walls of your home. Upgrade your house to a mansion using the most expensive items in the game. Social And Parties Complete every type of party successfully. Throw 10 house parties with at least three (3) guests swim at each one. Host five (5) or more weddings. Others Purchase every lifetime reward for one Sim. Potions are excluded. Visit every public lot at least three (3) times. Raise your family’s worth to one million Simoleons. Your objective for this challenge is to give birth to 100 children in as few generations as possible. The challenge ends as soon as the 100th child is born or if you fail the challenge for breaking rules.

Hundred baby

Any mods or CC that give you an unfair advantage over other players are not allowed. Mods that allow you to overstuff your household or gain money through child support payments are definitely not allowed. No cheats! The only exceptions to this are bb.moveobjects on for creative building purposes and cheating to resolve glitches. If a lot your matriarch moves into has existing lot traits, you may not edit or add to them. If your lot has no lot traits, you may pick three traits but your decision is permanent. You cannot change them after. Add-On Rules The following rules apply to players who have add-on packs installed. Disregard any rules for packs you don’t have.

Your matriarch may run a retail business, restaurant, or vet clinic. Teenagers may help out at these venues as an alternative to hiring employees. Your matriarch may have a work from home job but she must always choose the work from home option. Your matriarch may join and create clubs as long as the club activities do not violate any challenge rules. Your matriarch may have pets but keep in mind pets take up space in the household and there are no rewards for having them. You may participate in holidays and create your own holidays as long as none of the traditions violate challenge rules. Feel free to edit existing holiday traditions to comply with the rules. Your matriarch may become famous and build reputation through any means that don’t involve careers. Your matriarch may go on vacation but she must bring her entire household with her. She may not go on vacation if she is pregnant or has a newborn at home. Your matriarch cannot be a vampire. She may use vampires as donors but any female vampire children are ineligible to take over as the next matriarch. You may cure a female vampire child to make her eligible again.

Your matriarch may use the wishing well but she cannot wish for a child. Your matriarch may hire a butler but the butler cannot look after the children. Disable child care in the butler’s menu.

"Sculpture Ambulance" is named as “Ambulance” and it’s on: Buy Mode>Decorative>Sculptures. It cost 500$

Hospital Instructions:

Make a Hospital Build as Community lot. (Or Download my Hospital Lot)

Enter the lot in building mode.

Place down the “Ambulance” from the decor category.

A message will pop up. If its Object Error Pop up, press reset. Then When it will ask you if you Want your new hospital to have Mail Box Click on Yes.

Place the “Ambulance” where you want it to be. (Do not ever delete it.) It’s the main controller. You can hide somewhere the mailbox. it's not needed since bills will never come.

Place the beds for the patients and next to them place a table with Maxis "Frost de Fleur Bud Vase" in the Buy Mode>Decorative>Plants category and it cost 30$ (it's not a CC, its a in-game object.)

Make a “Patient examine room” and place the “Heart Rate Monitor” so you can check how is your sim’s health doing.

Place the “Hospital “4 Score” Doors” where you want. (You can set your settings in live-mode later.)

Place the “Some Square Lights“ (The Birth Lights) Above the a Nursery Room so The pregnant sims can give there birth.

In the Cafeteria (if you have) place a “Chef Stove” and a “Host Podium”.

In the Reception, Place the ”Hospital Kiosk Cash Register” and the “Countertop Card Display”, So visitors can bring gifts to your Sim.

You can optionaly place the “Nurse’s Gate” to give to the nurses some room. But it’s really optional.

Save and Exit. Don’t ever, move a family in the lot! Go to your wanted sim’s household, Only if your sim is sick, sunburned or in the 3rd trimester prengancy, You Can Call from the phone “Emergency” Then Select Hospital and a Taxi will get you there! After being healthy or having a baby, call a taxi again to get you back home.

Hospital Mod Abilities/Description:

When your Sim is in the 3rd trimester pregnancy or get sick with Flu, Cold, Food Poisoning, Pneumonia or Sunburn You can call on your phone “Emergency”, then Hospital.

A message will appear that "There is a room waiting for you at the hospital"

And a taxi will come pick your sim. When the sim arrive on the hospital your it will get the Hospital Memory and 2 selective nurses will come along. (Don't worry, when you leave the hospital the nurses will not come with you. Simply they will be on the hospital, only when you visit it.)

These nurses will often check on you (especially when you sleep) and will bring you gifts.

Also when you select one of the nurses and then the heart Rate Monitor, a "Diagnose Patient" option will be available and i will show you how % your sim is healthy (and ready to go home.)

A doctor (male or female, it's random) will come by, 2 times a day to greet and check your sim. If your sims are sunburned, the doctor will heal them right away.

Every night (mostly) security guards will patrol the hospital.

Cleaning workers will clean up everything for your sim.

If you have chef stove placed, a chef will cook meals for your sims and will call them.

You can set your hospital settings by clicking the Ambulance (is the controller after all) and set things however you like. There are many options. Also you can click on the Hospital doors and select if you allow certain npc/visitors/patients if they can enter in each room you placed the doors or not.

The Ambulance Settings:

The Ambulance contains several menu items depending on the sim's condition, these items are divided into groups.

Nurse Options - Set up nurse shifts, Nurse's option to move in with your sim.

Lot Options - Choose Doctor for this lot, Set up Hospital Type.

Pregnancy Options - Speed Up or Slow Back Down, Pause or Continue , Force Twins, Force Single.

Baby Bonus Options

Don’t Dress Visitors Option (Townie Patients will be on their Pyjamas)

Selecting to “ban” certain sims (Elder/Adult/Kids) Option

Warnings! :

This mod contains NPC and Memory mods. If you instal it, removing it afterward will lead to corruption.

Maybe Sometimes the sim in hospital will fall in love with a random visiting sim. I believe you can fix this by removing the memory and gift mods.

Is it just me or does gameplay in the sims 4 seem too easy for a life simulation?

I know there are mods but I’m just thinking about the game at it’s core. Plus, console players can’t have mods. I initially played on console and my daughter still does. (god bless her)

The rest of my rant is under the cut. To spare you a long post on your dash.

Take for instance how easy it is to take care of your families needs. You can literally have a household of 1 adult sim and have 7 children and with little to no effort earn money and take care of them. Unplanned pregnancies no problem. Just sell some harvestables. There is no daycare cost, no health insurance, no private school tuition because there is no private school. There are no major life altering consequences if you work work work but spend very little quality time with the people in your household. Sims pretty much grow up to be decent sims.

There are no sims with mental health issues or disabilities or bad sims or annoying sims. I mean except Eric Lewis but if you befriend him even his disposition changes. No holding grudges. I have twin brothers who hate each other. Their relationship bar is completely red and yet if I actually play them they’ll start chatting it up like homies.

Basically, as long as you keep their needs up sims are pretty much content. You can never use flash cards on your toddlers and they’ll still age up into decent sims. Don’t get me wrong there are rewards for actually making sure you improve skills and keep relationships up. But it’s so easy. We all hate the loading screen but you can have guest over and still maintain. But in real life, life gets in the way. Work, kids, and add a panorama to the mix, friends and extended family get tossed to the back burner.

And do not get me started on how easy it is to thrive in your career. In game all my original art sells and sometimes for a lot of money. Even in the art gallery. Yet I have to hustle my ass off both online and off to sell my art in real life. Also my vegetable garden is more accurately like the gardening was prior to seasons. A LOT OF WORK! Not to mention it’s physical labor getting your ground ready. You ending up with sore muscles the next day.

I think this why playing this game is always so short lived for me. My imagination is unfortunately too big for this game. Yet, I have two saves that are gameplay only and I keep trying to love them but I love the sims themselves but the gameplay is bananas. I could go on forever but I’ll spare y’all, besides y’all already know the deal.

Modders keep this game alive.

anti LO anon opinions

(1) Hey now, you guys should be happy LO is getting a book. Every other Original that got a physical publication proceeded to end fairly soon afterwards. LO (the comic at least) could very well end this sooner than later going off the trend.

(2) PSA about that book ending at Ch. 25 - it ends one episode after Persephone is r*ped. Way to end the book, Rachel 😬

(3) The concept of physical LO is not inherently bad (other Originals have gotten physical publications before this, and more will likely get it after this if it sells well enough) but I do think an issue with is the style is so inconsistent that Vol. 1 would look way different from Vol. 4, and it's a comic that was designed to take advantage of vertical scrolling format + sometimes use music, so a lot of the visually strong panels won't get the same effect, more so with the lack of sound.

Also, it seems to be banking on an "exclusive new chapter" as a selling point, but these are LO fans we're talking about here. They happily post Fast Pass episodes weeks in advance despite Webtoons claiming to threaten legal action, they leaked her Patreon work so it's all over Google, and they even post all her old Canvas version despite her constantly begging them to stop. You know the fans will post any extra chapter as soon as one of them gets a hold of it. They don't care.

(4) Regarding the latest news of LO chapters 1-25 turning into a published book: because nothing says a bestseller book series like reading/looking at incorrect/inaccurate body posture (looking at early LO Persephone, I can't even tell why is her body posture like she doesn't need a waist when she only has curves)

(5) Oof. The LO Book ends right after Persephone is r*ped and Tiny Hades is eaten by his dad going off webtoon chapters. I guess it's nice it ends with them talking? I don't know, it just makes me realize how any additional volumes might be way longer because less and less seems to happen the longer it goes and you logically want it to end on big moments. But seriously, first volume ends with her sexual assault? No thanks.

(6) Just like every lo episodes ending have this cliffhanger syndrom lo book also ends on cliffhanger. If someone who never read the comic boughy the book and didnt know that it has more episodes online, probably would be not happy and unsatisited about how book ends.

(7) Does anyone else feel like the Hephaestus hacking Apollo's phone is kinda weird? It just kinda made Apollo having the photos feel really lackluster now. It made it seem like a big plot point but now they're just gone. This is just me spitballing but I feel like a different way to pull this off would've been to have his phone confiscated by Hera somehow (maybe stealing it). That way Hephaestus could've just hacked the phone directly and maybe reveal some information about his activity to Hera.I just feel like using Persephone's sim card to hack Apollo's phone is kind of a stretch.

(8) WAIT, are anons telling us that pink tree LO Persephone made literally screws over every god and mortal because it awakes Cronus? And they're all going to be forced into another war? Why should anyone come to H/P's defense after that? They should all shun them. Demeter was right to hide her away then, these two are literally (ill admit unintentionally) trying to get everyone killed while they never think of their actions and just spend a bunch of money and flirt. How are they the good guys?!

(9) There's something funny about LO fans flipping out about any actual criticism of the comic yet they're perfectly happy to attack each other over a boring minthe chapter and even confront WT staff and RS over it? i will agree it's useless though, there really is no use trying to expand on her when the narrative spent too much time making sure you hate her with no exception and you already know she's going to die anyway.

(10) wait is that lo anon serious that lo hades seems turned on over persephone being a fertility goddess 🤢 does that mean he's either unconsciously or purposely using her domain to get himself children? i thought he was supposed to be respectful of her and her wants? shes literally a child herself who doesnt want kids, at least not right nopw? shes scared of pregnancy? hades you goddamn creep that's so gross

Around this time, Clyde noticeably became more introverted, but often got in trouble for little mischievous acts (ex: setting off the school fire alarm to get out of a test; the occasional schoolyard fight). He joined the Army after high school and just as he was returning home after a second tour in Iraq, Clyde lost the lower part of his left arm in a roadside accident. Inspired by his newfound love for cooking shows, Clyde began taking bartending classes, and late in 2004, started working at Duck Tape. He worked there for sixteen years.

Aaron and Sylvia Logan have since passed away (Aaron in 1999, Sylvia in 2008), as has Clyde’s paternal grandmother, Betty (d. 2013). His brother Jimmy currently lives in Greenbrier County, WV has a daughter named Sadie and a fiancée named (ironically), Sylvia. Mellie is recently married to Joe Bang.
