Lamare 50 LTW edit

Awhile ago I edited Lamare's 50 New LTWs and figured I'd share them.

This is for the M&G/UC version.

Changes made below

Sew projects - 100 Sculpt Pottery - 100 Make Robots - 100 Flower arrangements - 150 Restore cars - 20 Paid Salon Makeovers - 50 Win Fights with Different Sims - 10 Successful Parties - 15 Hours Teaching - 50 Repair Objects - 50 Street Performer tips - 2000 Personal Trainer - 7000 Max Influence and use it - 50 Simultaneous Furious Enemies - 10 Earn in Poker - 1000 Job Hopper - 5 Earn in Billiards and Earn as DJ - 2500 Harvest Best Crops - 200 Turn Sims into vampires and resurrect zombies - 5 Alien Abductions - 20 Witch Cast Spells - 50 Witch make items - 150 Win Cooking Contests and Prepare meals, Dance contests, and game contests - 10 Restaurant guides - 10

These numbers are based for lifespan that aren't significantly longer than the default Maxis lifespan, and if you don't work your sims to death to accomplish them. Some of the crafting ones are easy to achieve if you make your sim spam potholders for 3 days straight, but the numbers were all designed for sims with average lives with kids and a job.

The vampire/zombie ones were my personal preference, so you dont have 20 zombies running around :)

Note: sometimes the new numbers will update right away, sometimes it takes a day or so in game for them to update.

Hi everyone! I figured since I have been playing Sims 2 a lot lately, I'd provide my current essentials! Will update as I try more things, but this is valid as of February 1, 2024! ♥

AFTER INSTALLING SIMS 2 (Windows 10) Sim Shadow Fix: Fixes that weird shadow box glitch! Increase Resolution Fix: Have to go into the data files and alter some things to make it compatible for Windows 10!

NEIGHBORHOOD MODS Seasons Icons In Color: Colors the Season Icons in gameplay and in neighborhood view! Easy To Decorate Camera Mod: See more of the neighborhood map that you couldn't see before! CAS MODS Widescreen CAS Fix: Fixes the UI so your sim isn't covered! There's options for every resolution! (I use 1920x1080) More CAS Columns: Adds more Columns in CAS! Just like in TS4! Evie's Equal Genetics: Equal chance for offspring to receive dominant and recessive genes! 5 Custom Genetics Haircolors: Custom recolors for the Maxis hairs! Chocolate (Brown+Black), Sandy (Brown+Blonde), Icy (White Blonde), Auburn (Brown+Red) and Caramel (Brown+Red+Blonde)!

BUILD & BUY MODS Sim Blender: The holy grail of Sims 2 Mods. Can do anything with this! ACR: Sims autonomously Woohoo, Try for Baby, Get into Relationships, etc! Great for drama & storytelling! OFB Shelf Recolors: Beautiful wood recolors for the OFB Shelves! (The OG's were kinda ugly lmfao) Stay Things Shrub: Choose which items stay after a sim moves out! Monique's Hacked Computer: Pay bills, Order clothing, etc! Object Rotator: Rotate objects on an angle! Small, Large and End Tables! Lifetime Want Chooser: Pick your sims LTW!

LIFESPAN MODS 1 Day = 1 Year (Sims): As the title says! More realistic as I consider 1 sim day a year! 1 Day = 1 Year (Pets): Same as the Sim version, but for pets!

UNIVERSITY MODS Uni After Birthday Party: Teens can throw a birthday party and before blowing out candles, the game asks if you'd like to go to college first! Semester Changes: College is now 8 days instead of 24! Faster Uni Education: 24-48 Hour semesters! There Can Only Be One Professor: 2 per major seemed much, so I like this one! Generates less NPC's for me :D Doctors Need Degrees: Depending on your sims education/grades, they can either be stuck at career level 1 or 10!

GAMEPLAY MODS No 20K Handouts: As it says :) Now my sims aren't wealthy! Extended Family Treated As Family: Always hated it when second cousins could marry. This prevents it :) Community Time Project: Time spent on community lot matches with time at the home! Memory Manipulator: Hide/adjust Sims memories without using SimPE Break Up Via Phone: End a relationship over the phone! (Going Steady, Marriage, Engagement) 50 New Lifetime Wants: Adds new LTW's to the game! OFB Adopt Teen&Townie: Adopt Babies-Teens!

PREGNANCY MODS Shorter Pet Pregnancy: Pets give birth within 1 sim day! The default seemed way too long, so this is a must :) PregRel NL+: Can't find original post so I can't remember what it does, but I found a secondary version below! PregRel Compatibility Patch: Negative reactions to baby bumps if your significant other suspects cheating! Alternate Pregnancy Controller Lite: Possibility of your sims getting a miscarriage (Only had it happen once so far!) Triplets & Quads: Allows up to 4 babies to be born at once!

DEATH MODS Death By Childbirth: Morbid, but I like this for storytelling! Select Your Cemetery: When your sim lives alone and dies, a prompt shows up to move the tombstone to any lot! Now you don't have to cram the younger generations in your home ♥

MISC MODS/HACKS Last Name Copier: Edit/Change a Sims last name without using SimPE! Baby Pet Creator: Create a puppy/kitten with stray genetics! CJ Smart EP Checker: Does nothing, but it is required if you use any of Cyjon's mods! TS1 Prank Calls: Get the same funny and scary prank calls from Sims 1!

BONUS & EXTRAS The Christian Collection: On a MTS forum post, (look for Liv Lukas's post) but ChristianLov's mods are no longer able to be found separately. This is also linked where I put the Baby Pet Creator! Sims 2 Store Content: I only use the extra cars in my game, but there's loads of new stuff!

TOOLS SimPE: Edit ages, relationships, memories, family trees, etc! Sims2Pack Clean Installer: Used to install new lots and sims into your game! Mootilda's Hood Checker: Check any custom neighborhoods for corruption! Bat Box (FFS Lot Debugger): Similar to the Sim Blender. Here's the Vase version!

Thank you for everything you do for the sims 2 community, your mods are so neat and wonderful :)

I have a question regarding the 50 ltws mod. Personally, I prefer to choose careers for my sims based on their current wants (like romance sims often roll wants for slacker, music or entertaintment career and so on). So is there a way to synchronize ltws and actual wants, like in ts3, and make sims have wants directly correlated with ltw, not only with their aspiration?

Hi! I would also like it to work like this, but alas. The main problem is I don't know how to tell programmatically which LTW a sim has. The other problem is creating new want trees or editing existing ones for specific lifetime wants, but this one might actually be solvable (at least, the editing).

Edited Lamare’s 50 Lifetime Wants file, for lazy sims

So @lamare-sims made a fabulous 50 Lifetime Wants mod. But me and my sims are lazy AF, and were never going to complete the number of earnings, makeovers etc. that Lamare put as default.

In case anyone else has unproductive sims, I have uploaded my edited WantTuning_MG.package file. Everything else you need will be here still, look there for all files and information! I have also edited the amounts for some of the default Lifetime Wants that come with the game, so look below closely! If anyone wants to edit their own file, Lamare kindly uploaded a tutorial here.

TS2 Essential Mods

These are my essential mods/programs for The Sims 2! You can find the rest of my mod list here. ʕ♡˙ᴥ˙♡ʔ

Mootilda’s Hood Checker ─ A necessary tool used to check for corruption in your neighborhoods.

Hack Conflict Detection Utility (HCDU) Plus ─ Another necessary tool that finds hack conflicts in your game. Updated to HCDU Plus by whoward because it is able to find many more conflicts. Also recommended: SiMidge.

SimPE ─ Number one essential tool/program that allows you to view package files, tune/create mods, edit ages/names/etc. download version 0.75.69.

Lazy Duchess’ RPC Launcher ─ A custom launcher with added features and fixes. Includes a Discord Rich Presence, First Born Syndrome Fix, Borderless, and Better Live Mode Camera. Can’t live without this!

What Caused This? ─ Reads the object error log file, extracts some information from it and then looks in every mod in your Downloads folder to see if it can identify the suspect mod(s).

Object Relocator ─ A utility for moving Buy Mode objects around in the catalog en-masse by changing their Room, Function, Sub-Function and Community flags, and also their Price.

Download Organizer ─ I find this incredibly helpful when I need to see my mods/cc organized by date downloaded.

Chris Hatch’s Lot Cleaner ─ Object in buy catalog that cleans a lot of sim references, and removes the Super Duper Hug Bug. Essential if you download/upload lots frequently. Recommended to remove from dl folder when finished as it will automatically clean a lot if you just click on it in the catalog.

Anti-Redundancy ─ Eliminates the spawning of redundant NPCs.

No Death Type Loss ─Sims no longer lose their death type upon moving their tombstone to a community lot. Also, ghosts will now be the correct color from the type of death.

No Corrupt Death ─ Suppresses the corrupt death memory.

No Unlink on Delete ─ Game stops partially destroying sims files when deleting a tombstone.

FFS Lot Debugger ─ Lots of very useful debug options. I use the pretty vase version. :)

No Sim Loaded ─ Eliminates “Sim Loaded” and other tokens when loading up a lot. Also prevents and fixes the Super Duper Hug Bug.

Gussy Up ─ Change, buy, and plan playable and townie Sims clothes.

Soft Shadows 2.0 ─ Turns the blobby outdoor shadows into soft ones, like in the family portrait and indoors. Great for screenshots. *Don’t use if you have dreadpirate’s mm lighting mod.

Simnopke's Sliders ─ 24 face sliders available in CAS, plastic surgery machine, and Bodyshop. The 20 face sliders are here!

Sim Blender ─ Holy Grail management mod. Allows for a host of different options. A serious must have! *updated Mar. 2021 with added 1-3-5 day aging.

Sim Manipulator ─ Similar to Sim Blender but with several more options. You can have one or both, I use them interchangeably.

No Townie Regen ─ Prevents the game from spawning new townies.

Day Setter ─ Sets the day of the week for the current lot. Necessary to keep hoods in sync.

Weather Controller ─ Sets the season and weather on the current lot.

Inge’s Age Group Tweak ─ Custom age length mod. Tutorial on how to tune age span: here. Recommended use with Age Correct.

Smart AgeCorrect ─ This mod corrects the age span length of a hood. Must use with custom lifespans in order to change entire hood’s age span. Remove from downloads after loading a lot and receiving the pop up that the mod worked. Updated to Lazy Duchess' version which does not require taking out the mod.

Auto Save Game ─ A pop up appears that asks if you’d like to save the game.

Lifetime Want Chooser & 50 New LTWs [Experimental] ─ self-explanatory.

Shiftable Everything [TEST] ─ Move any object using [ or ] like in The Sims 4. Still in testing.

The Soap Opera Challenge.

I have recently started watching General Hospital and I love it. The twist and turns and the ridiculousness of it all. So I decided to make a challenge of it.

For the sims 3

Rules This is suppose to run alongside your legacy or challenge. It's suppose to mix it up and make it more exciting. Play like you normally would any legacy. - You get 10 Points for every generation completed and +1 point for every event you complete but -1 point for every one you aren't able to complete. - You can decide how many times you are going to do a roll but a least roll 3 times per generation. If you don't have an expansion pack and are unable to complete one of these just reroll. Hopefully this will keep things fun and fresh for legacy players. If you decided to try the challenge please let me know I would LOVE to read it and see how reasonable everything is. If you have any suggestions to add I would really appreciate that.

Suicide (Kill favorite sim) 54.Family of criminals. (Have all sims of next generation join the criminal career) 55.Fight another sim 56.Give sim facial hair 57.Kick a sim out 58. Get 50.000 59.Jobless. No one can have a job. (Make all sims quit job. May still sell items like paintings, writing etc but cant have a self employed job or regular job.) 60.Never move up in career 61.Go to university 62. Dont teach toddler skills for whole generation 63.Have an evil sim 64.Become ghost 65.Complete every living sims LTW 66.Become Fairy 67.Build Rec center for teens 68.Have a messy sim 69.Heir is female 70.Heir is male 71.Have a child for every letter of the heirs name(Name game challenge) 72.Build a bedroom for every sim. No one, besides married couples, may share a bedroom. 73.Do a surrounded by idiots challenge for whole generation 74.Have 10 Children 75.Have only self employed sims for whole generation
