Some info about Slow Damage Characters (Part 1)

So the official Slow Damage book contains some additional info about the characters, comment from the staff, a short story and a lot of new illustrations. Unfortunately, right now, I think the book is only available in Japan. Hopefully, Nitroplus Chiral will sell it in their international store in the future because i really recommend getting the book if you`re a Slow Damage fan

Also, unfortunately, i cannot post what's inside the book (eg. illustrations) :( but I'll share some new details about the characters that are written in the book (may contain some spoilers?). Here are some additional info about the main characters

Nitroplus Chiral recently announced that Slow Damage will have a spin off game called Slow Damage: Clean Dishes (スロウ・ダメージ Clean dishes). Its R18 and fully voiced however, it's all in Japanese (no announcement for English translation yet).

The game also takes places in Shinkoumi but the story revolves around new characters, Baku and Shiro. There are 4 new characters created for the spin off game. 3 characters from the original Slow Damage game are also returning for the spin off game.

A few weeks ago, they`ve announced that Junjou Romantica by Nakamura Shungiku will finally have a stage play. However, it seems that only few people only know about it while some don't know what`s it all about/don`t know that there`s a stage play, so i`ve decided to translate some details about the stage play.

So, The stage play is held from April 29 to May 2, 2021 (8 performances). The ticket cost 9,800 yen and is held at Sougetsu Hall located in Akasaka, Tokyo.

Based on the current casts list, it seems that the stage play will only focus on Junjou Romantica (Misaki and Usami`s story) because key characters from Junjou Mistake (Isaka is present but not Asahina), Junjou Egoist and Junjou Terrorist are not listed.

For the “after talk” event, they`ve announced it today. It's basically like an interview/Q&A event and is held after the stage play. They`ll also hand out some freebies for watching the show. The freebies varies depending on the day.

Went to Saezuru Tori wa Habatakanai Guild collab cafe at Torico Ikebukuro again earlier. This time, I went to the VIP section. Unlike the regular seat, the ticket for the VIP a bit more expensive and the room is smaller. However, the room feels fancier.

The VIP ticket costs 4000 yen while the regular seats costs 500 yen. The number of VIP tickets they sell per day is also limited (4 tickets per time slot). Currently, there`s 4 time slot per day so that means they`re only selling 12 VIP tickets per day.

Also, since they`re only selling 4 tickets per time slot, if you plan to go to the VIP room, don`t do what I did. Don`t do the same mistake. Don`t go alone. I suggest bringing a friend with you because going there alone is gonna be awkward because you`re in a small room with 3 unknown people for 90 minutes. Unless you`re an extrovert/fine talking with strangers, then you`re probably be fine.

Just like the regular seats, you`ll also receive Yashiro`s business card. However, you`ll received an item exclusive only to the VIP seats.

And that exclusive item is: Guild “Credit Card”.

The food in the VIP section is bit fancier compared to the regular seat. Here`s the food that they serve:

Top Tray: Chocolate Weapon (chocolate shaped gun), コインチョコレート (Coin Chocolate)、スートクッキー(”Suits” shaped Cookies)

Middle Tray: チョコとくるみのスコーン (Chocolate and Walnut Scone)、ベリーのムースケーキ (Berry Mousse Cake) 、プチガドー３類：ラズベリー、クリームチーズ、ブラウ二ー (3 kinds of Petit Gateau: Raspberry, Cream Cheese and Brownie)

Bottom Tray: ロストビーフサンド (Roast Beef)、彩り野菜のキッシュ (Vegetable Quiche)、アンティパスト3類：ワイトパストラミ、博多地鶏と香草パイ包み、アンチョビチーズアルメット (3 Types of Antipasto: White Pastrami, Hakata Chicken and Herb Pie wrap. Anchovy Cheese Allumette)

For the drinks, they`ll ask you if you want coffee or tea. They also serve you one glass of Chanmeri (シャンメリー). The Chanmeri bottles looks really cool.

And, if you`re still hungry you can go to the bar in the regular seat to order some extra food/drinks.

So here`s some more detailed stuff about Saezuru Tori wa Habatakanai Guild collab cafe at Toriko Ikebukuro. The cafe is held from March 1 to 28 at Toriko Ikebukuro. You need to reserve in advance for the cafe. For the regular seats you need to pay 500 yen for the entrance/reservation fee after the cafe staff check your reservation email. For the VIP seats, it costs 4000 yen (the entrance fee is already included here). Unlike the regular seat, you need to pay it in advance. After the staff confirmed your reservation, you`ll receive Yashiro`s business card.

For the cafe menu, there are 6 items. You can only order 3 items at a time so if you plan to order more, you need to fall in line again. For every order, you`ll also receive one random trump card (6 designs). They are also selling poker-chip like acrylic coasters in the cafe however, you can only order one for every one food/drink item that you ordered. Unlike the trump card, you can choose the design (6 designs for the coaster). The acrylic coaster costs 600 yen and here`s the food menu:

1. オーナー矢代のローストビーフバーガー＆マシューポテト (Owner Yashiro`s Roast Beef Burger and Mashed Potato, 1200 yen)

-I didn`t order this earlier but i saw someone ordering it and the burger looks really small and probably won`t make you full.

2.ディーラー百目鬼の黒ゴマアイスプレート (Dealer Doumeki`s Black Sesame Ice cream plate, 1200 yen)

-Ordered this earlier and i really like the black sesame ice cream

3.チアーズシャンパンゼリ (Cheers Champagne Jelly, 700 yen)

-I also ordered this. The jelly is non-alcholic BTW.

4.ホットアクアマリン (Hot Aqua Marine, 900 yen)

-This is the only hot drink in the menu.

5.チャコールレモネード (Charcoal Lemonade, 850 yen

6.ルビーワインスカッシュ (Ruby Wine Squash, 850 yen)

-I also ordered this. Its the only alcoholic drink in the menu but the percentage of the alcohol is really low (1 percent). Also, jelly is mixed in the wine. Was really surprised to find jelly when i drank it.

Here`s the food that i ordered and my table. You`re free to choose your table/seat in the cafe so I immediately went to Doumeki`s table as soon as I enter the cafe.

Here`s the Champagne Jelly and the Wine.

Here are the goods that i bought and received from the cafe. Bought 3 acrylic coaster and received 3 trump cards. I also bought Doumeki and Yashiro`s acrylic stand. There`s also a “stamp event” at the cafe where if you get 3 stamps you`ll receive a free sticker. To get 3 stamps, you need to buy 1000 yen worth of goods (excluding the gachas and the 25,000 yen A4 size signed artwork), you need to order one menu item and buy one of either Saezuru manga or Drama CD.

Doumeki really blessed me today with his presence because i received a lot of his goods today. But, maybe a bit too much because I received a lot of his badges from the gacha machine.

There`s two types of “seats” for the collab cafe, regular seat or VIP seat. My reservation for today is for the regular seat and here`s what the table looks like for the regular seats.

I already got a reservation for the VIP seat on the 9th so, I`ll probably post another Saezuru collab cafe related on that day since the VIP seats` a bit different.

Been stuck in my room playing Slow Damage continuously for the past few days that I didn’t realize that it's already Sunday which means I’m scheduled to go to the Saezuru collab cafe (normal seat) today😅 If I didn’t check the calendar earlier I’ll probably forgot about my reservation 😅 Will post some pictures from the cafe later as soon as I get home. I’m also trading some of my Doumeki badges from the cafe because he blessed me with his presence too much today and I received a lot of his badges. 😅 Will also post the picture of those badges up for trade later.

Day 6 of playing Slow Damage and I`m finally done with my 3rd playthrough (Rei`s good end route). His ending song is 原罪から未来へ (Genzai kara Mirai he) by Goatbed. If you played DMMD in the past, you already probably know them for their Ai Catch (DMMD`s opening song).

As always, I won`t talk a lot about the game right now since the game was released just recently so, I don`t want to spoil people who are still playing the game/plans to play the game but I have a few personal thoughts/opinion about his route. I also noticed something while playing Rei`s route that I didn’t notice on Taku and Madarame`s route so I probably need to replay their routes from the beginning once again to confirm something. After that, I`ll probably post another long post about my opinion about the game. One thing that I’m curious about is how they will translate Rei`s route to English without it getting lost in translation.

So here`s my opinion about his route. First, compared to the other two routes (Taku and Madarame`s) that I played previously, Rei`s route was really long. It took me a day and a half to finish his route. Unlike Madarame`s route where you`ll be reading dialogues most of the time/fewer chance to pick a dialogue, Rei`s route is “choice heavy” where you need to pick a lot of dialogues/choices.

While I really like Taku, I`ll admit that Rei’s good route is better than his route. However, since I haven`t played Fujieda`s route yet, I still can`t really say if Rei`s route is the best route in the game. But one thing is for sure, Rei is a cinnamon roll and should be protected at all costs. If you`re a Rei fan, I really think that you`re gonna enjoy his route a lot.

To tell you the truth, Rei`s was probably the character that I`m least interested with before playing the game however, after playing his route, he became one of my favorite character in the game. Also, I love the dynamic between Taku, Rei, and Towa. I enjoyed reading the dialogues/interaction between those three.

Overall, I`m really enjoying playing the game. I`m excited to play Fujieda`s route next. After that, I`ll get all the bad end route. I already discover the dialogue to the bad end routes but I don`t have the courage to do it😅. Hopefully, I`ll be able to finish the bad end route this time.
