My piece for the @ygodmrarepair collection!
I chose to draw sightshipping.
The idea is that the Egyptian Cultural Consulate had a gala or some kind of formal event, and Ishizu invited Pegasus to avoid getting chatted up by dull coworkers. What started out as just a plus one situation turns into the two really hitting it off, despite their drastically different personalities.

Okay but let’s talk about Maximillion Pegasus in my SOFM storyline for a minute here, because I've been sitting here realizing how much I adore this dweeb dad and uncle.
First off, he is a doting husband to Ishizu, just as much as he was to Cecelia, there is no questioning it. And they are hella cute and dorky and he paints her a lot, and sends her her favorite flowers all the time and always makes her coffee and drapes a blanket around her on her lates nights working, and Ishizu helps come up with really good ideas for cards, especially onces based off of different mythologies.
Date night is a must and they make time for it like every Saturday evening. And they always eat breakfast and dinner together, at least, and have tea every morning to start off their day.
He’s an affectionate little fuck and always likes showering her in kisses and holding her hand and cuddling with her and it took Ishizu a while to really feel at ease with it all and he respected that, but now, having been married for over twenty years, the affection is always a must and she finds it very comforting.
Nailah is the moon and stars with him, the sun rises and sets with his baby girl. He spoiled her rotten as a kiddo and he showed her pictures off to anyone and everyone, he is Maes Hughes level of Dadness okay.
He used to read fairy tales to her all the time, and really any story she knew she’d find interesting, and he’d do the voices and everything.
Max also commissioned Kaiba to make this music box for her that, when opened, would play the music and also show a hologram animation of her favorite story.
They still watch Funny Bunny together, namely when Naila’s really upset. Max just turns on the show, grabs some ice cream (chocolate chip, her favorite) and build a blanket fort, just like they used to.
And let’s not forget his little sidekick Phoenix.
He’s calls them Little Bird and has since they were a kiddo. And he helped them build up their deck and gave them their signature card.
They also love their Uncle Max to death, he’s their favorite person besides their Dad and Amane. Nailah comes after him.
The three of them go window shopping a lot, and he buys them really cute fashionable clothes because it’s Max, he’s got an eye for this shit.
All three of them make the most intricate sandcastles and snow forts ever. It’s kinda wild.
Max is honestly very curious about Indi. He’s seen all of the kids of the gang, he’s seen them all Duel. Except her. And he really wants to encourage her to enter the world of Dueling because she sees how glued she gets when watching her friends Duel, a longing of sorts, but she holds herself back. And he thinks it’s a damn shame.
He tries to be Hip Dad and oh my God it is funnier than hell.
Max has tried dabbing before. Phee has it recorded on their phone. It’s the most brilliant thing they’ve ever seen because it’s fucking creator of Duel Monsters trying to dab and never knowing the right time and he somehow manages to get it wrong every time???

Propaganda: I like this specifically from the angle of them reconnecting after going off and doing their own things for a while, and basically a delayed sort of friends to lovers finally arising. It's less predictable than Peachshipping and Polar shipping and I like exploring various kinds of friends to lovers scenarios.

The Future is Bright II Sightshipping

Disclaimer: Because @thecrowmaiden and I have been working around with Future!Ishtars, I can’t stop myself. This is just a small little drabble (which is really train of thought) thing while we were talking about everything
I don’t own Yu-Gi-Oh or it’s characters (clearly by my portrayals!), but I do own the kids.
Ishizu was twenty-seven when she had her first child. She couldn't help but think that her father would have been happy that it was a boy.
Trying to get pregnant had been complicated. She had half-expected the stress and fights to erupt, the way they had between her parents before Marik was born. Her father had been so desperate for an heir -- a daughter would not do, and he did not consider Rishid his son, although Rishid had done more for she and Marik than their father ever had -- that Ishizu had grown afraid of him during that period. After the death of her mother, what happened with Marik, and after their father had passed, she resented him.
But she didn't want to resent Maximillion.
Gamal was tiny, premature, and Ishizu had prayed so hard for a miracle that her son would make it through his birth; that he would make it through the night. After all the hardships that she and Pegasus had been through, both separately and together in their lives, they deserved something good; something pure.
When she held the small child in her arms, and when Pegasus pressed his lips to her sweaty temple to mumble that he loved her, she never feared resenting him the way that she had her father.
She didn't fear that, even when three girls followed the birth of their son, that they would be loved any less because of it.
Ishizu was in her thirties and, waking up to calls of "mama!" from outside the bedroom door, to strands of silver hair having fallen in her face from atop her husbands head, to her brothers warmly waiting in the kitchen for the family to go away on vacation -- somewhere with snow and with skiing and with prepaid nannies -- she could finally say that she was content.
