thank you for the ask! i started working on the answer for this ask eons ago and never got around to finishing. and i still haven't. but i'm trying to stay awake while i finish work tasks, so i scrolled through my album and saw these. sooo, here we go, unfinished and leaked unedited.

Does your oc have a lot of clothes and how much of it do they actually wear?
Yes. Lotus has more clothes than Sami (most of my cc folder is dedicated to her).
But Lotus doesn’t naturally have style, so Sami helps her here. She knows what she likes and how she wants to look. But Sami knows how/where to find the lewks. They can both thank Sami’s little sister, Eniko for putting them on to the gems. She will get her introduction this week.

So we found out Sage's real name. What's the story behind "Sage" and how did that name come about?
"heyyy, jess!! so happy that you're curious about my name. so, i was born shelby, named after my dad's mom. well, in middle school there were two shelby's in my class so they called us by our last names. mine being adams, stupid boys in middle school thought it would be fun to call me adam instead. by high school i'd had enough and decided to reinvent myself, and sage adams was born."
teenage sage and grandma shelby 💗 you see where sage gets her flair from. grandma shelbs totally supported the change and she also cursed those little boys. (she lives in willow creek too... so *in my keke palmer voice* sorry to those boys lol. don't mess with the shelby's).

yes! i just answered this but now i can get more specific.
- my story is very music driven bc i am obsessed with music and the artistry of it all.
- certain experiences i have and care about that i want to see talked about and given representation: entrepreneurship, greek life (divine 9), depression, the good plant, normalizing sexy tings
- my line sister would tell you that i’m a lover or something like that. nawl. irl im like, eh i guess. but in storytelling i think the psychology of love fascinates me. from my own experiences to the ones i hear about from friends and family, im always amazed at the similarities, the differences, and the way ppl of all ages react to these same things differently.
- i am very much into astrology, and i’m starting to think i need to switch careers bc this story (the bts) has showed me, i might know a lil something about these zodiacs. lmao!
i also love that i get to infuse interests and careers that i don’t have time for irl, but to put this story together, i get to dabble from scriptwriter, to director, set designer, music exec, model, podcast host, researcher annnnd by golly jeez am i having so much fun. 🥲

i was stuck on this for longer than i’d like to admit. 🤣 it used to be an easy hands-down: sage’s favorite holiday is love day BUT we haven’t seen her again yet, so i was whoooo else even cares? 😂
lotus loves herself so i think her birthday is always a big deal. is it a holiday? to her it is.
and sami’s favorite holiday that i need to add to my in-game calendar is 4/20. sami has always been into the plant and loves everything about it - so a holiday where everyone is celebrating it with him? sensational.

Father Lawrence aside (because I just know... I KNOW he's naturally talented in all the things...will die on this hill).... Are any of your OCs naturally talented? If so, what are their natural talents?
🤣🤣🤣 father lawrence is for sure a rare breed.
all of my oc’s have a natural talent and i like to let it show through their careers. as an artist, multi-hyphenate creative, and entrepreneur, i like for my sims to be those things as well. so it might be pretty obvious what their talents are, but i’ll share anyway!
sami is a genius. he solved a rubik’s cube when he was like 5.
sage has an excellent eye for photography and capturing moments. she looks at her works as visual narratives.
rosie can create brands in her sleep. if she ever hosted a masterclass on design and branding, i’d sign up.
lotus will dance and sing until you’re annoyed, but you can’t be too mad bc she’s great at both.
and thanks to @ladybugsimblr for sharing gavin… i’ve learned so much about him from having him in my game. and y’all will soon bc his upcoming rotation is long af. BUT, he’s a natural cook and is an amazing storyteller. his inquisitive nature has led him to travel and soak up many different cultures. he uses food and storytelling (mostly writing, but the world/his job is forcing him to go video) to share all the beautiful things he’s learned. i imagine ppl told his parents as a child, “he’s been here before.”
kotah is a fantastic painter. but really, she doesn’t shy away from any medium. if she can get lost with her hands and make a bit of a mess in the process, something beautiful is sure to come from it.
my not so obvious talents:
ashley is a gemini so she’s a great talker. she’s also a master at curating music and playlists. she may or may not have a secret soundcloud account where she uploads her mixes in her downtime.
rashad is a numbers guy. he’s quiet, calculated, and if there’s anything he knows how to do it’s get to the mf bag.
we will see more of rondo very soon. he hasn’t had a chance to really show who he is yet, but he’s a musical genius. he plays several instruments and writes his own music. it should be a crime to be that fine and talented.

honestly? if it’s not gavin, probably nothing. no one can cook. 🤣
okay that’s not entirely true.
sage can cook. if you open her fridge/pantry you’ll probably find some soup she made for the week, oat milk, seaweed snacks, and something organic.
rosie can cook, but she eats out.
lotus is gonna have leftover chicken wings, (do ppl reheat ramen?), basically, my girl can’t cook. she’s eating out and is hardly home. anytime she opens her fridge she’s probably throwing whatever is in there away.
