The voting will begin Wednesday, March 15. First, Round 1 of Bracket 1 will be posted, then the next day, Round 1 of Bracket 2, and the day after, Round 1 of Bracket 3, and so on and so forth. The Rules:

Fights will occur over the course of ONE WEEK, quarter 1 begins JUNE 1ST, 2024 at 12:00 AM MIDNIGHT EDT (UTC-04:00).

Multiple fights happen across one week.

ONLY 3 to 4 team members per team. 2 is too few, 5 is almost cheating. If a team has more than 4 members, some will have to wait in the stands (looking at you, Scooby-Doo and Tally Hall).

Tumblr poll will determine the winner of an individual fight via emotional support and gracious cookie donations.

Majority Wins. Whether or not a team would canonically win or lose the fight does not matter, only the number of votes.

Single Elimination.

Outside of the rules listed above, anything goes. Reblog a fight to get your friends on your side.

Propaganda is fair game. If you know perhaps a little too much about one of the teams and want to explain why your team should win, please submit an in-depth propaganda post to the blog homepage.

1: it’s canon that he loves chocolate ice cream, I can definitely see him loving cookies & crème.

2: it’s baseball & wrestling (he does like bowling & playing soccer with his brothers, Chris, Kon, & Osul later)

3: pepperoni is his go to topping; maybe extra cheese too. (For a crazy topping, he can do pizza rolls 😉)

4: hmmmm, for confession, it was after the battle with Manchester Black (the difference is her grandpa lived & ONLY him “betrayed” the family, Kathy was on Jon’s side the whole time) they both were sitting on the tree branch & both did a lip kiss.

Their first date was a trip to the movies, How to train your dragon: the hidden world, & then spend the night at the county fair.

5: cliche but I can see him loving summer; ice cream trucks & no school XD

6: hmmmm Kathy is his favorite flower XD most likely Sunflowers due to living on a farm & the word sun is part of him.

7: I say Benchwarmers (due to it being a baseball movie & it’s “famous” beef stew scene) & a tie between Shrek 1 & Kung Fu Panda 1. (Due to the memes & good stories)

8: I say either red & blue, (it becomes bright orange for his anime transformation I gave him) & he dyes it fully or just the front.

9: I say a S symbol on his left arm, his gf’s name on his right arm.

10: he likes your typical late gen-z early gen-alpha games like Fortnite, Minecraft, Roblox, etc… but he was introduced to games like mortal kombat & Star Wars battlefront from his siblings (mostly Kon & Chris)

The Round 1 contestants!!!

You will notice that there is no clearly defined bracket yet, but there will be going forth from round 2. I just want to see how popular certain characters actually are before I set all the forthcoming rounds in stone. You will also notice that there are some polls with more that two options. That's because we have so many cats and so little opportunities to make an even bracket. And one more thing that some of you who know their way around the math of bracket-making might pick up on: round 1 consists of 126 polls, while we're going to require 128 contestants for round 2. ROUND 2 INFORMATION

We've had a great first round, with a lot of strong contestants already being knocked out! This makes the second round even more exciting!

Round 2 will be posted between Monday, February 5th and Thursday, February 8th. It will be split between 4 sets, each set being posted on a different day. There will be a total of 64 participants (16 participants in each individual set) divided in 32 polls (8 polls in each individual set). By the end of Round 2, 32 participants will make it to Round 3 while the rest will be sent to the Shadow Realm where their souls will be tormented for eternity. All polls will be queued between 12 PM EST and 1 PM EST of the day it has been assigned. Each poll will last a week.
