(also sorry sorry everyone I know my submissions inbox, which is meant for YOUR works of art or pet pics or neat things to share with me, has been closed for a while. that’s because a few weeks ago I had to fill up the to-write document with old requests and so as usual I shut down the submissions box so folks wouldn’t confuse it for askbox and send new requests by mistake. then i proceeded to just. forget to re-open it)

What if ewan posted a picture of starlet reader when she was a kid and a video of her and Hayden swimming together from the 2000s and reader falling asleep on him and ewan trying to get her off him and Hayden saying no it’s fine with him and her just wanting to be helld by him all day and only him .but the media gets the photos and videos and loses it !!!

ok so i love the idea of media clinging onto tangible evidence hayden knew you as a kid. but i desperately need to hone in on and talk about the pool scene..

can you imagine how nervous you were in you heard your dad was inviting hayden over? ofc ewan has a pool at this location, and he's close with hayden. its natural to hang out. being insecure over being close in proximity with hayden again, second guessing everything you do or say. the mortifying ordeal of being perceived by your crush when youre young is a terrifying experience. but as soon as hayden coaxes you out of your own shell— like he often does— having fun is a lot easier. he tires you out, he loves hanging out with kids because he knows whats fun. he's very boyish in the sense he likes the same things kids do. video games, rough housing, skateboards and sports.

he throws you into the pool, teaches you how to step onto his clasped hands so he can launch you into the deep end, and you have those high pressure water guns which you obviously use against each other.

at one point he scoops you up when he falls into the pool, bringing you with. he has to knock water from your throat when you take in too much, patting your back harsh with his big hand, soothing it over and telling you he's sorry for dunking you. that was insanely embarrassing, but somehow worth it because of how nice he was to you after. your skin hot from the sun and your eyes blurry from chlorine.. its no wonder you knock the fuck out. you clung onto him in the pool while he apologized for hurting you earlier, and you fall asleep with your cheek on his shoulder. and he lays out on the long beach chair, checking his phone while you softly snore. when ewan comes back out, offering to take you, hayden says no because you just got to sleep and he doesn't wanna disturb you.

your convictions are admirable, but they are just childish conceits.
