Oooh, Chell, I am once again missing Seokjinnie terribly, so thank you for requesting him! 💕 Title: What a Line Pairing: Seokjin x Gender Neutral Reader Genre: Friends to Lovers, fluff, non-Idol!AU Warnings: cuddly silly Jin agenda, sudden tension!!

"Why are we doing this again?" Jin inquires as he joins you on the couch. He hands you a cider as he takes a swig of his beer.

"This" is the two of you trying out a new dating app together, You4ia. Questionable spelling aside, it promises to help bring you better matches than any of the other apps that completely failed to find you a lasting love.

The "why" is pretty self-explanatory.

"Because we're dateless losers who aren't getting any younger, Jinnie-yah," you inform him, curling your legs beneath you, getting cozy on Jin's old couch. He's had this thing as long as the two of you have known each other - five years now. It's so worn in and comfy, just like your friendship.

"Pssh, getting older's not a problem when you're aging like a fine wine. You should try it," he retorts, squeaking with laughter when you knock your shoulder into his. His beer sloshes slightly. "Watch it, you almost committed a party foul."

Snorting, you scroll through the setup menu. For several minutes the two of you fall silent as you create your profiles, both of you lost in choices, only occasionally piping up to ask the other's opinions. Finally, a cute little chime fills Jin's apartment as your dating app electronically announces you're ready to find love.

"Annnnd we're off!" you sigh, tossing your phone down on the table. Jin's slides next to yours. You sit back, letting that familiar feeling of hope and dread settle over you. The hope that you'll find a match. The dread that you won't make it last.

Jin brings you another round of drinks as the two of you regale each other with tales of horror and glory (mostly the former for you and the latter for him) from your dating app history.

"What's the fastest you've ever gotten a match on one of these?" you ask.

Jin leans in beside you, humming thoughtfully. He picks up his phone, then puts it down. Repeats the movement a few times.

“What are you doing?”

“Calculating how many seconds it takes to set a phone down.” "Fuck off," you gasp, smacking him in the stomach playfully. “You got a response in less than a minute?!”

"What? Is that fast?" Jin's ego can be seen from space, but damned if he usually can't back up. With his looks, his charm, his intelligence, and his kindness. But sometimes he's just too cocky, with his crooked smirk and gleaming eyes.

Your head gravitates towards his shoulder as his arm slips around yours. Cuddling with Jin is like breathing. Happens naturally.

"I guess it's pretty good for an old man."

Truthfully, neither of you are as young as you used to be, but he scowls anyway, hand reaching for your side to tickle you until you pinch him in retaliation. "Eek! Stop that."

You stop, your hand resting on his side as his hand lies on your hip. He mindlessly rubs small circles into the soft cotton of your shirt, lightly etching the skin beneath.

"What's the wildest opening line anyone's ever sent you?"

"Easy. 'I want to explore your body, if you'll let me.'" You laugh, remembering with a shudder.

"That's the first thing they said?!" Jin's pitch rises in surprise.

"Yep."

"Hmmm." He pauses. "And did it work?"

"What? No!" You cluck your tongue. "Are you insane?"

"What, you don't think that line could work?"

The two of you pull apart, both looking at each other incredulously. With a laugh, you shake your head.

"No, I do not."

"I'm telling you, the right person could make it work. Someone you find attractive - I'm guessing you didn't find him attractive enough."

"Well, I mean, he wasn't really my type, but he wasn't unattra- "

Before you can finish your sentence, Jin suddenly shifts, dipping you backwards. He holds you tightly, one hand cupping the back of your head as you stare up at him in shock. You’re very familiar with Jin’s face, but you’ve never been this close to it before. Have his lips always been so plush? Did his cheekbones get sharper?

"YN,” he murmurs, in a voice so deep that your entire body seems to vibrate. His thumb brushes your lips so lighty, so teasingly, that you strain your neck to tip forward and catch more of his touch. It’s an involuntary motion, as your head is currently completely devoid of any thoughts. "I want to explore your body. If you'll let me."

"Holy fuck," you whisper, wide-eyed, heart pounding.

Jin laughs, not his usual honking chuckle but something else - a tiny exhalation of surprise. “Is that a yes?”

“To you exploring my body?!”

Now he’s honking, shaking you with his laughter, but he doesn’t let go, and you don’t pull away.

“To my theory, that the line could work.” His eyes flit to your lips so many times that you feel dizzy tracking the movement. Or maybe you’re just light-headed from the nearness of him. His mouth is infinitesimally close….

“You know, I think maybe some exploration is in order, after all,” you mumble, chin tilting upwards, and you can feel Jin smiling as he presses his lips to yours.

Before the night ends, you both delete the app.

Dead Friend Forever ep 8

I had started a re-watch of eps 1-4 - I got half way through ep 1 over breakfast this morning - but I came home tonight to a message from @kayatoasted which implied that I should finish catching up with the eps before I do my re-watch. So, here goes!

Let's see how Non can fuck his life up even more!

I like Tee's shirt, it's not one I've seen before and I want to see it again.

I wonder why we haven't seen any of the repercussions for the tutor because of the leaked video...

Am I supposed to recognise that man who walked out of the Tee's Uncle's place when Khun Keng sat down?

He was not being subtle at all. No wonder they went after him...but running him down is a bit of an extreme reaction to someone just looking a bit shifty in their food stall.

Ok so Khun Keng is dead.

Wow this is really hard to watch. Poor Non. Not only is he second/youngest child but he has to live up to his older brother who's doing well, and Non just keeps fucking up. And both parents should take equal responsibility not just blame the other.

I'm wondering if we're going to be seeing Non without his medication...

'JRPP' posted the video (What if it was Non? What if Non has split personalities? But then how would he have gotten the video from Jin? 🤔)

So Tee kind of has a conscience...he's an ass to Non but doesn't want him killed.

Non has snapped, obviously, but I wonder how much of that is to do with him not taking his medication. I'm leaning more towards it being for a mental illness and this is all really exacerbating it. I love unhinged Non though.

It is funny how Jin and tee have reversed roles... And that framing was delicious - Jin trapped in the situation.

Another BANGER of a t-shirt for Non - 'We all get lost sometimes' - that's both metaphorical and physical isn't it? 😂

And oooo is that the knife he's putting his that bag?

I loved the contrast between the first episode - when they arrive at the house they sound pleasantly surprised it's not that far/long but now they're moaning about how long it took to get there. PERSPECTIVE.

Oh and that water is going to be spiked, isn't it?

🤣 I'm actually laughing at their very real fear of Non. I can't see how it's going to end but this is brilliant! Yes! they all get to hear how awful Tee is 👏🏽

Damn, Fluke, I want to shake him - 'I have no part in this', when his passiveness is actually a choice to allow the bad things to happen to Non, therefore he absolutely does have a hand in it.

I love that Non's dad, who has been accused by Non's mum of caring too much for Non, is in a dark blue shirt showing his support, and Non's mum, who has been accused by Non's dad of not caring enough, is in the cream top.

And Phee is also in a dark blue shirt! And he's still wearing the red bracelet! DELICIOUS! So he still cares about Non...and I think he will be avenging Non in the future.

Love the parallel of making Jin drink the beer and making him drink the alcohol in the first ep. I don't know why Jin sticks with them when he clearly doesn't like them or agree with what they do...and yet he's still there in the future. But also, maybe this is why he's going abroad. To get away from them.

I also love the ambiguity of whether Tee's uncle killed Non or not, and that Tee really wants to know.

Oh is that watch Khun Keng's that Tee's uncle is wearing?

Yay! Phee's still in blue!

Ohhhh what if everything in the future is more about Tee's uncle and Phee's father?! So Phee gets in with that group because of Tee and wanting to help his dad somehow to get Tee's uncle and in the process discovering what happened to Non and avenge him...? That's a long-ass ploy because the future events are at least 2 years after what we're seeing now...

Oh poor Phee. Yes! avenge your pookie!

WHAT. WAS. THAT?! Is that Tan maybe?!

In my ep 1 rewatch, I was wondering about how Phee and Tan got to know the group and wondered if they (Phee and Tan) knew each other before and both transferred together with a purpose in mind...and now after that trailer for ep 9 I'm leaning more towards exactly that. One thing I am a bit confused about though is that the way Non's mum talks implies that she doesn't work but the first time we saw her she had on what looked like a police uniform, no?

Hi! I wanted to ask you something that’s been bugging me for a while: I want to know who’s the oldest between wx, and, for a long time, I thought it was WWX, since he says that they met when they were 15 and it was spring (then, LWJ was the youngest because his birthday is on January) but I remembered that MXTX uses the chinese age with Jin Ling (the text says JL is 15, but he should be 13 chronologically) so I don’t know if it was used with wx too. I think the characters for occidental/oriental age are different but I know -10 of chinese🤔who do you think is the oldest? The thought of them actually meeting at 13-14 is funny, though xD

Well, I'd have to say LWJ is older than WWX, because WWX has called him 'WangJi-xiong' in the past, as well as 'Lan Er-Ge' and 'Lan Er-Gege' which are all used to address someone older than you. Unfortunately I don't speak or read much Chinese at all. But as far as I'm aware; Both Xiong and Ge/Gege mean 'older brother' - the latter is just less formal, more cute/flirty way of doing so.

I'm not sure if MXTX gave LWJ a birth date - I've only ever seen her attribute one to WWX in an interview 🤔

So I would have to assume LWJ is older, because of the honorifics WWX uses for him ☺️

I think if you do the math (which isn't my strong point mind! 🤣), WX are definitely 15/16 when they meet. WWX had been guarding his first kiss for 20 years, and that was 5 years after they first met. Also, they both have courtesy names. MXTX said she lowered this from the usual age of 20 to 15 to fit in with the story.

As for JL... * Scribbles down numbers like a mad scientist - akin to what I imagine WWX was like while inventing things in the Demon-Slaughtering Cave... *

At the start of the novel JC confirms JL is going to turn 15 that year - so he's a little younger. Since he said "15 this year" he might have only just turned 14 as well. So I think this adds up nearly, give or take a few months? The first siege at the Burial Mounds was "nearly three months later" after the Bloodbath of Nightless City. Since JL was just over a month old when JYL died, he'd be around 4 months at the time of WWXs demise. With us not knowing exactly when WWXs was reborn within the thirteenth year since his death - this could add up to the extra months, rounding everything off nicely to coincide with JL being 14 at the start of the novel.

You are right, the traditional Chinese method of counting a person's age is a little different. You're 1 at birth instead of being 0. It gets a little complicated after that, because they then add another year onto that age once the child reaches their first Luna New Year as well. So depending on what month you are born, you could be classed as 2 pretty early on! Even though you would be technically perhaps less than 1 by modern calculations. After your first Luna Year, your age is then calculated by the turn of each new Luna Year. So it will be a year in between thereafter, if that makes sense. But as far as I'm aware, MXTX did not use this method when giving her characters their ages. I think this might stem from people being a bit confused with JLs ages - but hopefully the above helps to clear this up a little.

Just to further support my musings! If MXTX had used the traditional Chinese method for everyone's age, A-Yuan would have been too young to act the way he did when the novel states he was "one or two" years old. Because he was able to walk, talk and play very competently - making me assume he was definitely older than if his age was being calculated the traditional way.

As for WX meeting when they are a little older, I'm rather glad to be honest! Especially considering some of the sexual tension and flirtatious behaviour at times over their youth 😂

Meet the Prince! Licht Klein 🐺

After Nokto, here's the next route :

The 6th Prince of Rhodolite Kingdom, member of Leonist faction, Nokto's eldest twin

Arm of coat : wolf

First impression of him : oho, i think he similar to Luka Clemence. Anti social but very cute and strong

His voice actor is Shoichiro Omi. He usually hosts ikepri shows with voice actors Rio and Luke. Seeing him so cheerful while Licht's voice is monotonous often makes me wonder lol

He's cute, right? He always has a straight face and when he tilted his head, damn cuteness overload 💘💘💘 He may be like an angel in the midst of beast princes, though not as caring as Mitsunari or Vincent. Btw his silver hair is soft! 😳

Contrary to Nokto, Licht doesn't like to socialize and always wants to be alone. He also several times told the MC to stop approaching him bc he already say that he is not interested in the throne so MC should focus to another prince. Thanks to MC stubbornness, Licht got tired and let MC approaching him. He also rarely talks unless it's important. But he has sharp instincts including love problems (hmm ... Maybe we have to thank Jin as an 'special adult' there) sooo i think he's not completely pure type. Then Sariel once said, that Licht wasn't like this back then.

Licht, even though looks cold, have a kind & soft heart. He really cares about his kingdom and because he is very skilled in the sword, he gets the job of being the head of the city's security. He also seems to care about his faction members and Nokto, of course care in his own way. But when Sariel say that, I think Licht used to be a cheerful kid. Now all that's left of Licht is his kindness. What makes Licht distance himself from other people?

Licht had the same tragedy as Nokto, but the impact of that incident was greater on Licht. Not to mention people's bad perception about twins, making Licht always blame himself for accidents that occur where he is in the same place. Licht's dilemma is more complicated, what will MC do to make Licht aware of all the attention around him?? This make me think his story is one of the best drama. Very worth reading!

Licht not recommended to anyone who doesn't like pure-hearted boy or maybe you already see him as a brother/friend that makes you not want to see Licht as a love interest. I guess everyone likes Licht, right? As someone who is really kind and needs more love 🤧 But people's tastes are different, so it's natural if we not choosing to read someone's story. Like, I can't choose Mitsunari route because I can't see him as a love interest 🤧 But then I can go through Luka or Licht route. Hmm🤔

Bonus! We can see Nokto often here. Licht always tries to avoid Nokto (it's funny to see Licht's expression every time Nokto appears lol). It's sad to see them keeping such a distance, in the past they were very close, because Nokto is always with him, Licht can go through all the pain. Even though their relationship is no longer the same, they still care about each other. Licht says the only person Licht trusts is Nokto. On the other hand, Nokto once warned if MC approaches Licht just to make Licht hurt, then Nokto will not hesitate to do something to her. Then, when Licht is unconscious bc injured, Nokto keep waiting in front of Licht's room! 🤧

Bonus! We already know that Licht close to Yves. Their relationship is the same as Licht x Nokto, but the difference is that Yves is more open in showing his concern. On each route, you'll see how displeased Licht is when he hears people talk bad about Yves, or how frustrated Yves is when Licht was injured bc protecting him. For other relationship, Leon and Jin think Licht as cute lil' bro, same as Clavis. He can get along with Luke as a fellow sweet food lover. And it's seems Sariel also likes Licht more than the other princes, since Sariel is shown to be very worried about Licht and asks MC to keep stay with him

The next will be the bad adult prince, Jin!

Well in my opinion you should try and do as you said and try and work on your portfolio make your art style more fluid and less...I don't really know the words to describe it but I feel they are static without flow, take Jin kim works for example, or glen keane you can feel the movement and gesture on their drawings and concept art the way they push the characters expressions, body language composition, and interections.

No matter if you work on a original story, or a Disney one, you might want to improve this kind of things.

But in my opinion, I like your original work a lot.

My art style has always been kinda stiff/never really looked super fluid and that’s definitely another thing I should work more on.

Much in tone with that anons take on 2seoks closeness I think jinkook also benefit this way. it allows them to have that fs all members do at some point but also it's playful banter and nothing they really have to try too hard to perform because yeah they do have good chemistry. maybe specially for jk, it's like relaxing a bit from having to play the other half to the two biggest (and most aggressively deranged) ships. As for the collabs they have, idk jk seems to really like Jin's voice and how he performs songs... But all of them think on marketing their projects first and foremost. So even if members admire eachother and want to work together, they would look how well the pair would be received first imo. A question I make out of this thought: what could be the reason why there's so far no taekOok collab, seeing as that pair is like a gold mine for BH because of shipprs 🤔

Ofc they think about themselves first, as it should be 🤷🏻‍♀️ also as genuine as it can be, music is a job for them, so it makes sense to create certain situations in order to monitor and predict how a project will be received.

Jk really likes Jin's voice, and he didn't just express it in words, he proved it with his works, so I find him genuine.

I was talking about another pair and they do have songs tgt...I actually don't think bh has ever tried to capitalize much on tk, or they would definitely have some sort of content tgt...the shippers have done the most by themselves 😭
