If Mob met Reigen four years ago when he was ten, and Reigen’s 27 at the start of the show, that means Reigen started S&S when he was 23.

If he took the usual education path that means he started college at 18 and left four years later at 22.

Which means:

Either Reigen has no college degree and has been winging it this whole time.

Or he had a professional office job for ONE WHOLE YEAR before going ‘fuck this’ and started a career as a pretend ghostbuster.

Quitting his job is framed as this big life changing move brought on by depression but we might need to consider that Reigen’s just always been this weird

No wonder his mom’s so mad at him

I think the reason mobs sense of humour is forgotten by the fandom it's not only bc mob is really deadpan when he tells jokes or pulls pranks but also because they're so subtle. Mob doesn't go out of his way to tell jokes. He's more reactionary. He saw the cake falling to ground and took the opportunity to shove it in reigen's face

What I Think Reigen Got For His Birthday

Serizawa- A badly-tailored but clearly well meant suit. Serizawa admitted far too casually that he was so deathly scared of getting measurements done at a store or having to return an item that he started learning how to sew. Reigen compliments his ladder stitch. Serizawa did not know it was called a ladder stitch.

Mob- A larger version of The Shirt. It does not fit Reigen. It is pukey in color and when Reigen puts it on for a picture the face he makes in an attempt to smile cannot be differentiated from that of the hideous patterned monkeys.

Tome- An Axolotl bag clip. It clearly came from one of those little toy dispensers you find at the laundromat, but Tome claims it cost her a week's pay, and if that still makes it cheap, that means Reigen owes her a raise.

Ritsu- An even larger version of The Shirt. It fits Reigen like a night gown. It came off ebay. It was listed as heavily worn and possibly cursed. He did not wash it before gifting it to Reigen.

Dimple- A gift certificate for free all you can eat Takoyaki. It turned out to be fake. Reigen spent the night in jail.

Teru- Didn't get the memo. Sent Reigen a nice cake.

Sans Undertale- A framed 6' by 6' painting of himself as a plane crashing into Reigen and the Queen as the twin towers. And a box of nice chocolates.

Admittedly I did not Just watch it during breakfast tho lol #It was too good ahhhh I kept finding my thoughts returning to it throughout the day!#I probably ended up watching an additional episode or so per day over however long it took haha - drastically cut down the number of days!#The lead ups to the finales especially got me - there was no way I could for the whole next day to see them through!#Plus getting to see those beautiful EPs gosh <3 What could be better than some absolutely stunning animation ♥#I was quite impressed the whole way through :D The cast was great and the animation was beautiful and fluid and impressive #And the technical ability that went into the painted animation! Gosh!!#But most of all - of course - it's just a good solid story <3 Of course it's beautifully expressed but it's just - good down to its bones #I love a story like that :) Mob is such a wonderful character and he's surrounded by good people ♥ It made my heart happy to see #He's loved and he loves <3 That's my very favourite!#Unsurprisingly to me I was most enamoured by the brother relationship who could've seen that coming lol me? Soooo, I did a thing.

Big thank you to @ygodmyy20, @sodasexual, & @acemp100 for your help!

Several of the characters have matching/mirroring Pokemon. Mob originally was going to have an Espeon to match Ritsu's Umbreon. I still like to think they both had Eevees as kids.

Most people have several Pokemon types to have well-rounded teams. Also, tried not to have anyone's team be too OP, except Toichiro Suzuki.
