Are you named after anyone?

ANTONIO: Not that I'm aware of.

SHI: No, but my name apparently means "honest" in Chinese and "death" in Japanese. That's pretty cool, I guess.

When was the last time you cried?

ANTONIO: I was having a heart-to-heart with my Mother through video call, and I guess it got a bit emotional? I wasn't crying, crying, but a few tears were shed. [Quietly] Please don't tell anyone, though.

SHI: [Lying] I don't cry.

Do you have kids?

ANTONIO: I don't. I'm not so sure if I'm even ready to have any, yet.

SHI: No.

Do you use sarcasm?

ANTONIO: Yeah, sometimes. Depending on the conversation.

SHI: [Sarcasticly] No, why would I?

What’s the first thing you notice about people?

ANTONIO: Definitely the eyes!

ANTONIO: I'm from Planet Draenor!

What are your hobbies?

ANTONIO: I like to work out and train in weapons. When I'm off the ship, I like to go hiking and swimming.

SHI: I like to play guitar and watch anime. Sometimes I like to dabble in coding as well.

Have you got any pets?

ANTONIO: I'm not sure if she is considered a pet, but we do have a ship dog. Her name's Laika, and she is the cutest thing ever.

SHI: No, but I like the idea of having one.

What sports do you play/have played?

ANTONIO: I box occasionally, and I work out at the gym quite a bit. Off-ship, it's swimming, climbing and a few other things that we'd do on my home planet.

SHI: I did parkour and skateboarding a lot as a teen. I'd like to get back into rock climbing and snowboarding.

ANTONIO: Around 6'7.

SHI: 5'9 I think.

ANTONIO: PE! Basically anything that involves physical activity.

Good things happen, bad things happen, and that’s the way life goes. Lately, it’s all been good, or at least for now...

I’ve been thinking a lot about what Valeria had said to me during my last visit, and have decided to take up on her advice. I’d be lying if I said I don’t still feel that sense of impending doom, where something really bad is going to happen at any time.

And it seems that I’m not the only one who feels this way. Salem’s been having a bunch of nightmares recently, and they’re worried that the dreams they’re having is a warning about what’s to come. I don’t know what there dreams are about, and frankly, I don’t think I want to know. Based on what I heard, they’re terrifing. Maybe they should speak to Kylo and Valeria about this, those two might know what to do.

Speaking of, Kylo has been acting a bit weird lately. Not in a mean way or anything, but the thing is, Kylo is usually quite introverted. But as of lately, he’s been inviting us to do all sorts of things, including activities that usually drain him. I thought he would’ve needed some time to recharge after that night out, but it’s been non-stop. Even Caleb has picked up on it. I feel like there has to be a reason for all of this. Does he know something that the rest of us don’t? He’s always had a sixth sense.

But then what is it, and why is he spending more time with us as a result? Is there a reason that he’s not telling us? Who knows? But as Valeria said, how we handle the high and low points in life is more important than worrying about what’s to come. So I just need to take things as they come, and deal with whatever happens as they occur, right?

I just need to live in the moment and allow myself to feel good.

Shi: When you weren't so busy crying about how your life is falling apart, you were being hit on by some guy who kept buying you drinks and touching you-

Johnny: Okay, I think I've heard enough.

Shi: Oh, that was just the start.

Shi: Anyway, are you planning on talking to Cas any time soon?

Johnny: Yeah, I plan on talking to her tonight.

Johnny: He told me a bit more about that guy who wants to use his ability for some fucked up thing he's got going on. He's not one hundred percent sure yet, but he thinks that this Toue person might be responsible for all of this.

Salem: The disappearances?

Johnny: He has a brother, you know...

Johnny: Shi has a twin brother that he's never even met.

Johnny: They were both made as a result of one of Toue's projects, but they were separated within minutes of being born.

Salem: Why?

Johnny: Shi was presumed dead, and before they could dispose of him, his Grandma took him, only for him to have been alive the entire time.

Salem: [Sigh] Fucking hell. What about his brother?

Johnny: Still with Toue, apparently. Probably being experimented on.

Salem: Poor guy.

Salem: Do you ever feel that you could be next?

Johnny: What?

Salem: I've just been feeling really weird lately, and today I woke up with this... really strong feeling of dread and I feel like everywhere I go, I'm being followed.

Johnny: Salem, how long has this been going on for?

Salem: For a few months... Since before we went camping together.

[Skateboard scraping along metal]

Salem: How much longer do you think we will have?

Caleb: Is that it?

Kylo: It wasn't just a fight though, was it Johnny? What happened?

Johnny: It was that fucking Ouija Board...

Caleb: What Ouija Board?

Kylo: Johnny, none of us have brought one here.

Johnny: Shi did, but he claims to have "stumbled across it".

Chris: Where did you even find that board anyway?

Shi: In the woods outside of our camping area.

Chris: Oh, right.

Shi: I didn't think we would actually get in contact with a spirit or anything.

Casper: It wasn't just a spirit...

Shi: Shit, yeah.

Arya: It's just- Scott's death is still a very touchy subject for Johnny... well for all of us, really.

Shi: I get that, and we really didn't think he was going to reach out like that.

Arya: I know. It's not your fault.

Chris: Like you said, it was unexpected. I'm sure he'll come round. He probably just needs some time to himself. Y'know, to process everything that had happened last night and to allow himself to feel whatever emotions it is he's feeling.

Casper: I don't think I've ever seen him this angry... or hurt.

Arya: I know. Just give him time.

Kylo: So you think that one of them was moving the planchette?

Johnny: Yeah, pretty much. I'm not so sure which one of them did it, or if they decided to take it in turns on each question.

Caleb: If that really is the case, then that's just fucked up and your anger would be completely justifiable.

Shi: Still not sure what gave him the impression that I used my ability on him, especially for something like this.

Arya: Your ability? Oh- Yeah, I only just clocked on to what you meant.

Casper: Well, he thinks that I told you everything that he had told me that night, just to use it against him?

Chris: Honestly, I think that this is something that can only be resolved by just sitting down and talking it out. Have everyone say their piece and just listen to each other.

Kylo: Okay, so clearly this is a messy situation where everyone has their own version of their "story". If you want, I can talk to them, have them explain their side since I'm basically a walking lie detector and can smell bullshit from miles away.

Johnny: You sure that's a good idea?

Caleb: Unless you want to talk to them yourself? [Scoff] Look, here are the possible outcomes. Worst case scenario, they're lying and did in fact manipulate the board to fuck with you. In that case, they will be dealt with and you can do whatever you please.

Best case scenario, they are also telling the truth and it really was Scott communicating with you all. Which in that case, you will need to sit down and talk it out, come to an agreement on something and then do whatever the fuck you want after.

Johnny: I'll think about it. I need some time away from them, I think.

Casper: Shi?

Shi: Yeah?

Casper: Do you think he'll ever listen to our side?

Shi: Not any time soon, no. Honestly at this point, just let the human believe what he wants to believe. And if he doesn't want to listen? Then fuck him.

Casper: I don't like this... I just want everything to be okay again.

Shi: [Scoffs] Even after the way he spoke to you last night? You're too forgiving...

Man 2: Tell him what, exactly? That he's a product of Toue's research and that he has a special ability? [Hushed] We should consider ourselves lucky that he hasn't used it on us, yet!

Man 1: [Groans] So what do we do, then? He can't stay here.

Man 2: I know...

Man 2: Those two men that he was with earlier... I don't trust them.

Man 1: The ones that look like they could be related?

Man 2: Yeah. There's something off about them.

Man 1: Tell me about it. You don't think Toue will find out about this, do you?

Man 2: He'll find out. It's only a matter of time before he does.

[Distant chatter]

Man 1: Have you heard about his brother?

Man 2: Did something happen?

Shi: [Whisper] Brother...?

Man 1: [Lowers voice] I don't know the full details, but it's something to do with mind control and shit.

Man 2: Mind control?!

Man 1: Shh! The people don't know.

Man 1: So there's been speculation that Toue has been using Sei's ability to brainwash people. I guess it's to make them think that he is some sort of God, when really he just wants power over people.

Man 2: Right?

Man 1: There's been talks of him paying Earth a visit.

Man 2: Oh no...

Man 1: Mhm.

Man 2: How do you know this?

Man 1: People talk.

Man 2: So this could all just be rumours?

Man 1: Or it could be true. I wouldn't put it past that man. Would you?

Man 2: [Sigh] What does Shi have to do with this?

Man 1: He's the other son. If Toue gets his hands on that boy, it's game over. You've seen what he did to that man earlier-

Man 2: Ah, fuck.

Man 2: Do we tell his Grandma about this?

Man 1: I don't know, man. We just work here. That boy will most likely be discharged first thing tomorrow, and who knows what could happen to him.

Casper: Tell me you’re not actually planning on leaving.

Shi: Cas, you know I-

Casper: You’re hiding something from me. I can see it in your eyes. Just tell me the truth, please. Answer me!

Shi: [Sighs] I just found out that I’m a product of Toue’s research... And that I apparently have a twin brother.

Casper: Wait... What? Toue, as in that dictator?

Shi: Yeah, and he’s only just realised that I’ve been alive this whole time.

Casper: Shi...

Shi: My Grandma was a part of the research- She didn’t realise how fucked up everything was until it was too late. Grandma was the one who took me away and dropped me off at the orphanage.

Casper: And then your adoptive parents brought you back into her life.

Shi: Yeah. Then they fucked off and it was just the two of us again.

Casper: So... The way she treated you as you got older was not because she hated you, but because she was trying to protect you from... Toue?

Shi: Apparently so. But it was only a matter of time before he’d find me.

Casper: How did he find out?

Shi: I don’t know... All I know is that he wants to use my power to help gain control over Earth.

Casper: Earth? Why Earth?

Shi: I’m guessing it’s because of how heavily populated it is. There’s what? Almost 8 billion people living on that planet. The more people he can control, the better I suppose.

Casper: Makes sense. What about your brother?

Shi: He’s being transported to Earth. As soon as he lands, their project starts.

Casper: How long until then?

Shi: Three days.

Casper: Shit. I guess I can’t exactly stop you from leaving, then.

Shi: It’s only temporary.

Casper: Promise me one thing?

Shi: Yeah?

Casper: Keep in touch, will you?

Shi: Sure.

Shi: You know, Cas. I think we should do something to help you remember me while I’m gone.
