man that unbelievably dumb ass explanation the writer gave for miguel ditching xina for dana is bad for so many reasons but mainly because it completely does not line up with dana's characterization. like it doesn't really line up with miguel's either, but it's especially obvious with dana.

like "ooh miguel thought she was the safer option because unlike Smart Independent Woman xina, dana is a dumb bimbo who strokes his ego and hangs on his every word!!" first of all this writer is so misogynistic about dana it's insane but second of all dana is a dick to miguel! "obsessed with him" bitch where? she cheated on him with the man who drugged him (which she knew about)! she guilts him for being pissed at his (emotionally and physically abusive) parents!
