Matthew Murdock finally has some competition for horniest marvel character

I think the most... sad? Interesting? Upsetting? Thing about the most recent She-Hulk episode is the end when she looks directly into the camera and doesn't say anything just looks into the camera with fearful eyes as the last shot. Every time we see Jen/She-hulk breaks the 4th wall it's a fun thing, she's happy and quipping and cracking jokes, to see her break the 4th wall and say nothing... idk it shook me

Honestly I think episode 8 of she hulk was just amazing, even without daredevils appearance. The suspense building from the moment Matt left Jen’s house was palpable. There was a drastic tonal shift from that point to the end of the episode that I think was amazingly executed especially considering the genre of the show is comedy.

I wasn’t expecting for the video to be released as revenge porn, but honestly I’m so here for it. It’s an issue that many women unfortunately have to face. The idea of having a video like that recorded without your knowledge or consent is jarring enough, let alone it being released in front of your colleagues, family, and friends at an event you were supposed to get an award for. And then of course Jen is viewed as the “bad guy” for reacting strongly at the release of this video. But its nice to see that this very real issue is being directly confronted. I’m excited to see how the show ends, and I look forward to Jen being even more badass.

(And while I’m on the subject, the talks about getting Jen’s blood for something was a brilliant misdirect. The blood will probably still play a factor in the finale but it successfully distracted me from a plot twist.)

This show has been amazing to watch as a whole, not just this episode, because it’s explicitly stated and shown the issues women face every day from episode 1 in the very first scene (where Jen had to deal with that asshole who thought he knew better). In fact, it even called out the types of misogynistic men who exist today during the brief social media scene in episode 2 I think. Here’s to hoping future marvel projects show similar traits!

Glad to see Charlie Cox get to play Daredevil again, so I wanted to try to draw him as Matt Murdock! I tried to get a little experimental in how I did it compared to my art in the past and really liked how it came out. 🌙please do not repost✨

She-Hulk S1E8

Wow, so there are so many things to talk about this episode. A) The final scene and B) The rest of the episode.

And given a sterling performance from Charlie Cox as Daredevil, it seems sad that A inevitably overshadows B.

Because Charlie’s turn was a great one issue team up. It has them meeting, a misunderstanding fight and then work together to bring down one the baddie. Happy endings all round! ;) Seriously though Cox is charming both as Matt and as DD. His fight with She-Hulk is great in that he’s clearly skilled and talented but rightly taken down in a way that makes sense for their characters (he’s weak to gamma clap) and it gives him props without overshadowing Jen. (it is her show still)

Also I love the use of the Netflix theme in his intro. This bodes well for Born Again, I’d say.

And i love Jen fourth wall noting that the episode should be over and it’s only still going for finale set up. And she expects a twist which it is for her but less so for the audience. Still not clue on Hulk King’s identity but them hijacking and showing her private information (I almost typed dirty secrets but she hasn’t actually done anything wrong) and her reaction is an immesively effect  cliffhanger.

Damage control has an amazing quick reaction time though unless they’ve been stalking Jen or otherwise tipped off ahead of time.

And this seems to be the first time since the pilot we’ve seen Jen fully lose control and hulk-rage, or at least that’s how I intepreted the final moment there.
