a note on credit

hi guys! just a little notice about credit and my posts: i don't have many posts that get extremely popular (at least in terms of the very small sge fandom). however, recently one of my posts got about 60 notes, which is pretty big for me. and i'm really happy about that! i'm happy you guys want to read my rambles about sge and more will be coming soon. but although i'm happy about that, i do have to breach the subject of credit. i've truly never been a huge stickler about credit because i'm aware that whatever i'm saying has probably been said by another person before. it's really only when someone copy and pastes, or rephrases my work but *just barely* enough to differentiate it that i begin to have a problem. i've become a bit more protective of my textposts and pieces since there's been an increase of stolen content and uncredited reposts by big sge creators, so that's really what i want to mention here. if you want to repost my work, i'd really like it if you either linked me or said in the very beginning of your repost in no uncertain terms that "this work belongs to @plushpinkfox on tumblr". my website user is @annieuncanny if that's where you're reposting. someone rephrased my entire sophie/tedros post from tumblr onto the website and didn't give me credit at all. when they were called out about it in the comments by shatvika, they literally misspelled my username and neglected to tag me even though my website username is literally in my tumblr intro post. it may seem silly, but when i spend an hour writing a piece about sge i really don't enjoy it when people repost it or steal it to put it somewhere else and pretend it's their own work. if you see my textposts anywhere else, i'd really appreciate it if you tagged me or asked the person to stop. this may seem a little bit silly because this has only happened to me once, but i don't want to give it a chance to grow and keep happening. and i think this applies to other creators, too. if you see someone's post being stolen, please speak up about it in the comments. this has happened more times to my friends than it should have. thank you, and we'll be back to our regularly scheduled programming in a little bit!

tedros as ‘this city’ by sam fischer because camelot basically broke him and he called it home but honestly it did so much shit to him.

agatha as ‘july’ by noah cyrus because she didn’t want her and sophie to change and go to sge and she was mistreated by the village, they all thought her a witch.

sophie as ‘moral of the story’ by ashe because she ‘fell in love’ with so many people through the series and thats like her main motive for doing things because loads of people fucked her over
