The sixth part of my collection of famous supercars from the 80's, called "Neon 80's".
This part consists of cars that were not produced in the 80s, but left their mark on the pop culture of that era.
Ferrari 365 GTS/4 1968
The generally accepted total number of Daytonas from the Ferrari club historians is 1,406 over the life of the model. This figure includes 156 UK right-hand-drive coupés, 122 factory-made spyders (of which 7 are right hand drive), and 15 competition cars. The competition cars are divided into three series, all with modified lightweight bodies and in various degrees of engine tune. All bodies except the first Pininfarina prototype were produced by Italian coachbuilder Scaglietti, which already had a well established record of working with Ferrari. The car became famous thanks to TV series "Miami Vice". Although replicas of this supercar were filmed in the series.
Bricklin SV–1 1974
This is a two-seat sports car built from 1974 until late 1975. The car was noteworthy for its gull-wing doors and composite bodywork of color-impregnated acrylic resin bonded to fiberglass. Assembly took place in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada. The name SV-1 is an abbreviation of "safety vehicle one".

The fifth part of my collection of famous supercars from the 80's, called "Neon 80's"
De Tomaso Pantera GT5 S 1984
In homologation Pantera GT5 S received wide tires, wheel arches and a different body kit. The spoiler became available a little later as an option. The GT5 S also incorporated better brakes, a more luxurious interior.
DeLorean DMC–12 1981
The DeLorean DMC–12 was produced in Northern Ireland, during its production, several parts of the car were changed (hood, wheels and interior). DMC-12 "seagull wing" type doors were also used.About nine thousand copies were produced before production ceased in 1983 .

The fourth part of my collection of famous supercars from the 80's, called "Neon 80's"
Lotus Esprit Turbo [S3] 1981
The Turbo Esprit retained the aerodynamic body kit of the Essex cars and featured prominent 'turbo esprit' decals on the nose and sides. In addition to the external differences from the standard version, the Esprit Turbo had a turbocharged engine with a capacity of up to 213 hp.
BMW M1 1978
In the late 1970s, Lamborghini entered into an agreement with BMW to build and manufacture racing cars for homologation, but a conflict arose, which prompted BMW to manufacture cars on its own. The BMW M1 is BMW's only mid-engined production car. A total of 456 copies were produced.
Chevrolet Corvette [C4] 1984
The fourth-generation Corvette was the first complete redesign of the Corvette since 1963. The car received a new body, the distinctive feature of which was the absence of a peripheral frame, unlike previous models. The frame was replaced by a supporting structure.

Inspired by Scion, Nissan Pike Cars and Chevy Small Cocept Cars. I decided to fantasize about my own car brand and its models.
I named my brand "E–Motors" as all cars will be electric.
Just like the companies I was inspired by, I decided to make 4 models.
EA (Electric Art) - The first model in the line. This is a small city hatchback aimed at young people.
It will also have a 4 door version on a slightly longer platform called EA+.

EB (Electric Box) - A year after EA debut and successful sales. A family-oriented sub-compact van will be launched into production, built on a slightly elongated EA platform.

Honda N-ONE
Nissan Cube
EC (Electric Coupe) — Two years after EB debut, coupe named EC will be introduced, which is built on EA platform and is aimed at more sporty car enthusiasts.

Inspired by:
Subaru BRZ
Audi TT
Volkswagen Beetle
ED (Electric Development) — Two years after EB debut, ED will be introduced with EC. Van built on the platform of EB, designed for the freight market.
It will also have variant of 5 door minivan with called ED+.

Lada Niva High Road 2023
Продолжаю свою ежегодную традицию по интерпретации легендарной Нивы.
На этот раз я не стал рисовать модификацию базовой модели, а нарисовал новое поколение нынешней Нивы, вдохновившись концептом 4x4 Vision 2020 года.
Мне также показалась уместной 5ти дверная модель, поэтому я нарисовал 2 типа кузова.

I continue my annual tradition of interpreting the Lada Niva.
This time I didn't draw a modification of the base model, but drew a new generation of the current Niva, inspired by the Lada 4x4 Vision Concept 2020.
I also found a 5-door model appropriate, so I drew 2 body types.

Fiat 127 & 128 from the movie picture "Call Me By Your Name".
While the Fiat 127 is given very little time and appears as a background car, the Fiat 128 is used in cameo scenes. It was from this film that my love for Fiat and the 80's began in principle.

Lada Niva Grand Road 2023
Ещё одна вариация Нивы нового поколения. На этот раз покрупнее, чем Lada Niva High Road.
Я вдохновился моделями Jeep Avenger и Renegade, а также первыми двумя поколениями Mitsubishi Pajero.
В этот раз решил не сильно сохранять стиль первоначальной Нивы, применив более современные черты дизайна.

Lada Niva Grand Road 2023
Another variation of the new generation of Lada Niva. This time it's bigger than the Lada Niva High Road.
I was inspired by the Jeep Avenger and Renegade models and by the first two generations of the Mitsubishi Pajero.
This time I decided not to keep the style of the original Lada Niva too much, applying more modern design features.

Ещё в 2019 году, на меня произвела большое впечатление игра для Nintendo Switch "Overdrive 80's", хоть я в неё никогда и не играл, но мне понравилась сама концепция игры и её автопарк. Поэтому, я принял решение нарисовать автомобили из этой игры. Попутно назвав свою коллекцию "Neon 80's". В эту коллекцию входили все 6 автомобилей из данной игры. Единственным расхождением от оригинального автопарка стала замена Vector W8 на Lotus Esprit Turbo. Так как Vector мне вообще не понравился, да и выпущен он был уже под конец 80х.
Через три года, я принял решение перерисовать свою коллекцию. На это решение меня подтолкнуло моё погружение в тематику ретровейва, да и в принципе я стал интересоваться 80ми больше, чем любой другой эпохой за историю человечества на тот момент. Музыка, фильмы, видеоигры, мода и индустрия тех времён стали отправной точкой к перерисовке "Neon 80's".
Я поделил перерисовку на две части, каждая состояла из 4 автомобилей. Поэтому коллекция пополнилась двумя легендарными суперкарами от Феррари. Также для усиления эстетики я добавил бэкраунд с закатом в двух вариантах.
Примерно через год я снова перерисовал свою коллекцию. Мне не давала покоя мысль о том, что я нарисовал не все суперкары той эпохи.
После тщательного поиска информации количество автомобилей для коллекции увеличилось вдвое: 14 основных и 2 бонусных автомобиля. Бонусные автомобили не были произведены в 80х, но всё же были связаны с поп культурой неоновой декады.
Уже на этапе скетчей я определил стилистику очередного ремейка. Упор был сделан на стилизацию и большую мультяшность объектов. К сожалению из-за большого количества автомобилей я принял решение отказаться от заднего фона. Но, как мне кажется, это пошло только на пользу и подчеркнуло нереалистичность обновленной коллекции.
Мне приятно наблюдать за своим развитием на примере данной эволюции. Как все началось с автопарка из видеоигры с уровнем начинающего, плавно перетекло к постерам из ретровейва с углублением в реализм, а закончилось на статичных композициях с уклоном в стилизацию. В количестве, вдвое превышающем, первоначальную версию.
Я уверен, что количество автомобилей уже не вырастет, так как я выжал максимум из подходящих на эту роль вариантов. Но всё ещё остаётся возможно поменять стилистику данной коллекции.
Кто знает, может через пару лет я перерисую её снова...

Back in 2019, I was very impressed with the game for the Nintendo Switch "Overdrive 80's", although I have never played it, but I liked the concept of the game and its fleet. Therefore, I decided to draw cars from the game. I named my collection "Neon 80's". This collection included all 6 cars from this game. The only difference from the original fleet was the replacement of the Vector W8 with the Lotus Esprit Turbo. Since I didn't like Vector at all and it was released at the end of the 80's.
Three years later, I decided to redraw my collection. This decision was prompted by my immersion in the retrowave theme, and in principle I became more interested in the 80s than any other era in the history of mankind at that time. Music, movies, video games, fashion and the industry of those times became the starting point for the redrawing of the "Neon 80's".
I divided the redrawing into two parts, each consisting of 4 cars. Therefore, the collection was replenished with two legendary supercars from Ferrari. Also, to enhance the aesthetics, I added a sunset background in two versions.
About a year later, I redrawn my collection again. I was haunted by the thought that I had not painted all the supercars of that era.
After a thorough search for information, the number of cars for the collection doubled: 14 main and 2 bonus cars. Bonus cars were not produced in the 80s, but they were still associated with the pop culture of the neon decade.
Already at the stage of sketches, I determined the style of the next remake. The emphasis was placed on stylization and great cartoonishness of the objects. Unfortunately, due to the large number of cars, I decided to abandon the background. But, as it seems to me, it only went to the benefit and emphasized the unreality of the updated collection.
I am pleased to observe my development using the example of this evolution. How it all started with a fleet from a video game with a beginner's level, smoothly flowed to retrowave posters with a deepening into realism, and the end became static compositions with a bias towards stylization. In an amount twice as large as the original version.
I am sure that the number of cars will not grow anymore, as I have made the maximum of the options suitable for this role. But it is still possible to change the style of this collection.
Who knows, maybe in a couple of years I'll redraw it again...

The third part of my collection of famous supercars from the 80's, called "Neon 80's"
Ferrari 288 GTO 1984
The Ferrari 288 GTO is the first production car capable of accelerating to 300 km/h. Developed on the basis of the Ferrari 308 GTB to participate in Group B, it caused such a stir that the entire batch of 272 copies (instead of the 200 required for homologation) was sold before production began.
Ferrari Testarossa 1984
Ferrari's flagship model . The translation from the Italian word "Testarossa" means "red head", in the racing environment testa rossa is repeatedly found as a "red helmet", which makes a reference to the racing history of the brand.
Ferrari F40 1987
The F40 was conceived as a successor to the 288 GTO and is designed to compete with sports cars such as the Porsche 959 and Lamborghini Countach. The upcoming 40th anniversary of the company was the reason for the debut of this car.

Porsche 911 Turbo 3.3 [930] 1978
Porsche decided to create a variant of the 911 with the most improved trim, which could compete with the more expensive and exclusive Ferrari and Lamborghini. The new generation received the Porsche 930 index, and for the first time, turbocharging technology was used on Porsche.
RUF CTR YELLOWBIRD 1987
A coupe based on the Porsche 911, released in late 1987 in a small series of 29 pieces by the German automaker RUF Automobile. Due to the power-to-weight ratio, the car accelerated to 340 km/h, becoming the fastest non-production car at that time.
Porsche 959 1986
The Porsche 959 technology platform was created based on the 911 in the number of 292 cars. The car was equipped with a complex of complex and rare technical solutions at that time, which made it one of the most expensive production cars.

Lamborghini Jalpa P350 1982
Jalpa is a more successful development of the Lamborghini Silhouette model — 419 cars were sold. The Jalpa model was designed to occupy a niche of "affordable cars", it was significantly cheaper than the Lamborghini Countach.
Lamborghini Countach LP400 S 1978
The LP400 S was the first revision of Lamborghini Countach. In addition to the internal differences, the LP400S received wide Pirelli tires, wheel arches and a different body kit. The spoiler became available a little later as an option.
Lamborghini Countach 5000QV 1985
Another Lamborghini’s major Countach revision came in March of 1985 at the Geneva Motor Show. The model was named after its new cylinder head which featured four valved per cylinder and it was known either as the Quattrovalvole or QV.
