A month later, Kiana woke up, and she smiled. Serenity was asleep, and Kiana decided to do something for the dragon. She got up and got dressed. Kiana happily went to the kitchen, and she frowned. She would have to go to the store. Kiana walked to the store and she went to buy ingredients. She would make pizza toast, and she needed the ingredients for it. "Kiana?" Kiana turned around and saw Bronya and Seele. She smiled at them, and Bronya hugged her.
"Bronya heard what Mei did." The gray-haired woman spoke. Kiana nodded, and she moved away.
"Don't worry, Bronya, I found someone else." Kiana smiled.
"We should meet her." Seele smiled.
"Kiana!?" A voice yelled worriedly. Kiana yelped as something tackled her.
"Serenity!?" Kiana yelped as she felt a familiar set of horns against her breasts. That's when she realized that she never told Serenity that she was going to the store. "Shit. I'm sorry, Serenity!" Kiana pulled the dragon closer. She breathed in the goddess's scent. "I didn't want to wake you up, and I wanted to do something for you." Kiana whispered.

Kiana moved her fingers down her stomach and in-between her legs. Serenity moaned as her fingers entered her. Kiana moved her fingers faster and Serenity gripped the sides of the tub. She cummed with her back arching and Kiama cleaned them off. She moaned at the taste and Serenity sat up. She kissed Kiana and Kiana gripped her thighs. Serenity moaned as she felt Kiana positioning herself. "Kiana." Serenity moaned softly.
"Kiana!" The door slammed open, and a white-haired man came in. The dragon and goddess flew apart quickly. Serenity coughed up blood聽 as her back hit the faucet. Kiana noticed her father, who looked extremely uncomfortable.
"Get the fuck out!" Kiana threw shampoo bottles at her father. Serenity gasped and Kiana got up and wrapped a towel around her torso. The goddess was furious with her father. She slammed the door open and marched to the living room. "You piece of shit." Kiana threw a pillow at her father. Sirin was laughing and Cecilia frowned. She went to check on Serenity and ran into the dragon coming out.
"Are you ok?" Cecilia asked. Serenity nodded as she grabbed a towel.
"You need to knock!"
"Kiana."
"Don't Kiana me! You cock-blocking piece of shit!" Serenity came into the living room and Cecilia saw the bruise on her back.
"Come on!" The man took a step towards Kiana and stepped on the makeshift nest that Serenity had moved in front of the fireplace. That's when things took a turn for the worse. A bloodcurdling snarl echoed through the room and the man barely dodged the snapping of the dragon's jaws. Serenity was in her draconic form and she was pissed.
"Woah!" Sirin backed up.
"Serenity!?" Serenity wrapped her tail around Kiana and she hissed.
"Kiana! Tell Serenity that you are fine." Himeko hissed.
"What?"
"Dragons protect their nest! Seigfreid accidentally stepped on the nest." With that, Kiana understood immediately. She remembered asking the dragon what she was doing, and she had said she was making a nest. She then asked if it was ok, and Kiana said that it looked amazing.
"Serenity." The dragon hissed at Siegfried. "I'm ok. See?" Kiana hugged the dragon, and Serenity turned back. She wrapped a wing around and kept Kiana close. She sat down in the nest and hissed at anyone who came close.
"Wow."聽 Siegfried yelped as Serenity shoved him backward with her tail. Sirin started to laugh again, and she came up with a gift bag for Kiana. Kiana took it, and she looked inside it. She shrieked in embarrassment, and Sirin started to laugh. Serenity looked in it, and she pulled out聽 a leash and collar. Serenity didn't understand it entirely.
"Are we getting a pet?" Serenity asked. She checked the name tag and half understood it. "Am I Kiana's pet?"
"Sirin Kaslana!" Cecilia hissed.
"Yeah. Pretty much." Sirin shrugged. Serenity only understood it partly, and she shrugged. She kept her arm around Kiana.
"Siegfried." Cecelia started.
"What?"
"Apologize." The woman hissed.
"Why?"
"You walked in on your daughter and her girlfriend."
"Mate." Serenity hissed.
"Apologize to Kiana and her mate!"
"No!"
"Himeko!"
"On it." With that, the red-haired woman tackled the man and pinned his arms.
"Hey!"
"Himeko will break your arm if you don't apologize."
"No she won't." Himeko broke his arm. "Ah! I'm sorry!"
"Hmmph." Kiana looked away.
"Didn't you leave her for seven years?" Serenity hissed.

Serenity hummed as she lay in her nest. Kiana came back, and she laid in the nest. She pulled the dragon closer, and Serenity happily took her in her arms. Kiana held Serenity, and the dragon understood that the goddess needed to calm down. There was an argument about Siegfried leaving. Serenity had kicked everyone out of the house because Kiana was on the verge of a meltdown. The goddess needed to calm down, and Serenity understood. "Do you want a drink?" Serenity asked.
"Huh?"
"A drink. It helps calm the nerves." Kiana nodded, and Serenity poured Kiana a shot of vodka. Kiana downed it, and she smiled at Serenity. She had gone drinking with Mei and their friends so she knew how much she could drink. Serenity watched her down the entire bottle.
"I want to have sex with you." Kiana demanded.
"You're going to have to wait until you are sober."
"I'm not drunk!"
"Babe, you drank an entire bottle of vodka." The dragon deadpanned.
"Maybe I'm tipsy." Kiana's face was painted with a red blush. "You should have burned my dad to a crisp."
"Was he that bad?"
"No, but he just up and left and hurt Mom really badly." Kiana whined as Serenity picked her up. The dragon carried the goddess to the living room to where her nest laid. She set her in the bed. "I'm going to fuck you tomorrow."

Dragons Are Like Cats
Serenity woke up in the tub. She saw Kiana sleeping next to her and she moved. Kiana heard the water splashing, and she saw Serenity awake. "You're awake!"
"What happened?"
"You got a fever."
"I don't think I had a fever." Serenity tackled Kiana. She was straddling her. "I fainted because I'm in heat." Serenity kissed Kiana, who whined, and she moved away.
"So what? You fainted because you didn't have sex?" Kiana joked, and Serenity looked serious. "You fainted because you didn't have sex!?"
"Don't you have a book about dragons?" Serenity hummed.
"Well, yes!"
"I'm fine, Kiana. I'm out of heat now." Serenity got up, and she shivered. Her body temperature was low, and she got dressed. She went to the fireplace and lit it. She sighed happily as she curled up.
"Do you want to have sex?" Kiana asked.
"I do, but it's improper for us to have sex so early in the courting." Serenity hummed as she sat up. Kiana nodded and sat on her lap.
"I don't mind us having sex." Kiana whispered against Serenity's lips. The dragon kissed her, and the goddess moaned.
"We should wait a month." Serenity pulled away. She buried her face in Kiana's chest. The goddess laid her chin on Serenity's head. Serenity hummed as she felt Kiana's heartbeat. She smiled, and Kiana felt the dragon's body vibrate.
"Are you purring?"
"Maybe." Serenity hummed. Her wings wrapped around Kiana, and her tail was thumping on the ground.
"I see. You're like a cat and dog." Kiana made the connection on what Serenity acted like. "It's weird. You're a man-eating dragon who can take out a city. Yet here you are acting like a lazy cat." Serenity pulled away, and her horns got tangled in Kiana's hair. The goddess untangled her hair.
"Do you want to see my draconic form?" Serenity asked. Kiana nodded happily and followed her outside. Serenity went deeper into the forest and into a clearing. Kiana stayed on the edge, and green flames erupted from Serenity. A black dragon the size of a mare was sitting. Kiana bounded out, and she frowned.
"I expected you to be bigger." There was a growl, and Kiana yelped. "But you're only half dragon." Serenity nodded, and she stretched. Kiana yelped as she threw the girl on her back. She screamed as Serenity flew into the air and Kiana held onto Serenity's neck. It was nighttime, and Kiana felt Serenity stop. She looked up and saw herself above the tree line. She noticed the stars and moon, and she smiled happily. Serenity flew through the air, and Kiana started to scream happily. Serenity landed on the ground behind their house, and Kiana got off. She waited for the dragon to turn back, and she tackled Serenity, who yelped. Serenity caught Kiana, who started to laugh. The two girls started to smile.
"Someone is happy." A voice said. Serenity saw Sirin and Kiana turned around. She noticed her mother and turned back towards Serenity. She noticed that Serenity was in her underwear. Kiana gave Serenity her jacket. Serenity hummed as she put it on. Her features disappeared.
"I'll let you guys catch up." Serenity hummed as she went inside the house.
"We're moving here." Cecilia spoke up.
"In the house!?" Kiana asked.
"No, you fool! In the city."
"Ok."
"So does Serenity know about your little secret." Sirin asked.
"She's a dragon. Of course she knows!" Kiana hissed. She then went scarlet, and Sirin smirked.
"I see. You want to have sex with her."
"We have to wait." Kiana huffed.
"Yet you didn't deny it!" Kiana huffed and went inside. Serenity was sitting on the couch, and she was watching Alien.
"What's wrong?" Kiana sat on the couch.
"My idiot sister."
"I know you want to have sex with me." Serenity crawled towards Kiana, who yelped as the dragon sat on her lap.
"Serenity."
"Also, it's nice for your family to move here." Kiana yelped.
"Let's not get freaky." Sirin snapped.
"Aww. Don't worry, I'll be gentle with your sister." Serenity hummed. Kiana blushed harder and pushed Serenity away. She ran to her room, and Serenity shrugged. Sirin left after bidding Serenity goodbye. The dragon went to see her goddess, and she slammed open the door. Kiana yelped, and Serenity smirked.
"Serenity!"
"Your sister left."
"Ok?"
"I'm going to eat you."
"What!?" Serenity tackled Kiana, who yelped. The girls landed on the bed, and Serenity straddled Kiana. The goddess moaned as the dragon bit her neck. Kiana whined as Serenity continued to nip at her neck. The dragon moved away and admired the bites along her collarbone. Kiana was a blushing mess, and Serenity yawned. The dragon curled up next to her, and the goddess felt disappointed. She got up and went to the bathroom. Her hair was a mess, and her neck had bleeding bites. She sighed as she realized that Serenity was just marking her. The goddess felt disappointed, and she would have to take a cold shower. Kiana winced as she got in the shower. Her bites burned, and she sighed as she got out.
"Kiana?" Serenity hummed from the bed.
"Sorry, I had to take a quick shower. I didn't want to sleep in saliva." Kiana hummed as she got into the bed. Serenity pulled her closer, and Kiana blushed.
"It's ok. I know the feeling." Serenity yawned and fell asleep. Kiana stayed up and got on her phone. She got a text from her sister who told her to tell her all the details of the steamy night. Kiana replied back that all Serenity did was bite her. Sirin asked if she enjoyed it, and Kiana asked if she was jealous. Sirin said no and then sent a message. Serenity woke up to Kiana tensing up. "What's wrong?"
"My father wants to see me."
"Are you on good terms?" The dragon muttered.
"Sort of. He left us when I was 12, and my sister was 15." Kiana whispered.

Sickness
Serenity stretched as she got up from the bed. Kiana whined, and she curled up. The dragon went to the bathroom, and she groaned as she started her period. She hummed as she came back out. She'd have to go to the store. She checked on Kiana, and the dragon frowned. The goddess was burning up, and Serenity started to get worried. She quickly went to the store and she stood at the medicine area. She looked over the medicine, and the dragon was entirely confused. With that, she started to throw different medicines into the cart. A woman came up and noticed the dragon getting irritated. "Are you ok?"
"No. My mate is sick and I don't know what to give her." Serenity hissed, and sparks flew from her mouth.
"Let me help." The woman hummed. Serenity noticed a beautiful pink haired elf. She saw Mei, and both girls frowned. "I'm sorry. Do you two know each other?"
"Yeah. This is the woman who hurt my mate."
"I'm sorry!" Mei got on the floor. "Please forgive me for attacking you." Serenity sighed, and Mei got up. "Is Kiana sick?"
"Yes. She has a fever." Serenity frowned, and the elf hummed. She took out most of the medicine. She put a few fever reducers in.
"I'm Elysia." Serenity's eyes widened. Elysia was the one who Mei cheated with.
"Actually, I don't need your help." Serenity moved past them. She went to the soup aisle and groaned as Mei followed.
"Will you keep Kiana safe? We're moving." Mei whispered.
"Dragons mate for life."
"Alright." Mei grabbed a can. "Kiana can be quite a baby when she's sick. She also doesn't like to take her medicine."
"I had kids. I know how to make them eat medicine."
"Does Kiana know?"
"Yes. They perished in a fire along with my mate. Unfortunately, they were half incubus." Serenity hummed.
"Kiana hates chicken noodle soup, but she likes chicken and rice."
"Why did you do it?" Serenity asked.
"I don't know." Mei bowed to Serenity and left. The dragon hummed as she went to the chocolate aisle. Her tail wagged as she noticed all the different types of chocolate. She went on a snack raid and smiled happily at her assortment of snacks. She went to the feminine aisle and bought both pads and tampons. She went to check out, and the cashier looked both terrified and amazed at Serenity.
"Never seen a dragon before?" Serenity snapped. The cashier yelped, and she shook her head. "I'm sorry. I normally keep my features hidden."
"Your weally pwetty." Serenity yelped as something pulled on her wing. She looked down and saw a child. He had to be no more than five. Serenity crouched down to inspect the kid closer, and he yanked on her horns.
"Kazhua!" A woman scolded the child. "I am so sorry!" The woman bowed, and Serenity waved her off.
"It's fine." Serenity paid for her groceries.
"Please let me drive you home. It's the least I can do." Serenity sighed, and she accepted the offer.
"Ok."
"I'm sorry my son yanked on your horns." The woman apologized again. "I'm Mitsui."
"He's just a child, so he's not that strong to hurt them." Serenity hummed. Kazhua was playing with her tail, and he was squealing. "He's a cute kid."
"When he wants to be." The woman sighed.
"This is my stop." The woman pulled into the driveway, and Serenity stepped out. She carried the groceries inside and paid the woman.
"Oh, I can't accept this."
"Please take it." Serenity hummed. The woman sighed and nodded. She bowed and left. Serenity watched the child pout, and she went inside. She made soup and went to Kiana, who was sitting up.
"Who was here?"
"A mother drove me home." Serenity hummed as she fed Kiana the soup. Kiana took her medicine, and she noticed Serenity frowning.
"What is it?"
"I saw Mei and Elysia at the store."
"Are you hurt?"
"No. They're moving." Kiana frowned, and Serenity laid her back down. She grabbed a bowl of ice water and set a rag on Kiamas head. "Please rest."
"Will you stay in the room?"
"After I change pads." Serenity hummed. She went to the bathroom and came back out. She climbed into the bed and pulled Kiana close.
"What if you get sick?"
"We don't get sick easily." Serenity whispered.
"Ok." Kiana fell asleep, and Serenity hummed softly. She soon fell asleep.

Serenity woke up to Kiana missing. The dragon started to panic, and she looked everywhere for her goddess. She sighed when Kiana was in the kitchen. She wrapped her arms around Kiamas waist. "You weren't in bed."
"Ah. I'm feeling better so I decided to make you dinner." Kiana hummed. Serenity nodded, and she moved away. The dragon made a cup of tea, and she stirred sugar in it. Serenity hummed as she drank her tea. Kiana finished cooking and set plates. They finished eating, and Serenity started to wash the dishes. The goddess frowned when she heard a thud. She ran to the kitchen and saw Serenity on the floor. She was panting heavily, and scales crawled up her face. Kiana picked the dragon up and set her in the bed. She frowned and looked through her book. She found out that female dragon's body temperature gets hotter when they have a fever. Kiana hummed and went to go get ice water. She started to cool Serenity's body off with a rag. The dragon whined, and the goddess frowned. She went to the bathroom and started to make an ice bath. She picked up Serenity and set her in it. Steam started to billow the room, and Kiana had to open the door. She frowned and found medicine. Serenity woke up briefly to down the entire bottle of medicine and passed back out. Kiana frowned as she went to get more ice. She sent a text to her mom asking to bring enough ice to fill a room. Cecilia asked why, and Kiana told her that she needed to cool Serenity down before she erupted into flames and burnt the house down.

Family, Crystals, and Secrets
A week later, Kiana noticed a few characteristics about Serenity. The first one is that Serenity didn't really understand privacy. The dragon has a habit of entering rooms without knocking. The second thing ties with the first. When Kiana's in the bathroom, Serenity is at the door, whining. The dragon reminds the white-haired goddess of her childhood cat. That cat would follow her into the bathroom. If Kiana was taking a shower, she had to let Serenity in. The third thing is that the dragon acts more like a lazy cat than a terrifying man-eating beast. Kiana hummed as she walked into the living room. Serenity was sprawled on the floor, her wings and tail out. She was sunbathing, and she looked content. The goddess yelped as the dragon pulled her down. The fourth thing is that Serenity likes to steal blankets to make a nest. Kiana loved the day that she found her clothes in a nest. She couldn't be mad at Serenity for stealing her clothes because she reminded her of a puppy with its favorite toy. Kiana got used to sleeping in the makeshift nest. The last thing was that Serenity had a hoard. Kiana read that most dragons had hoards of treasure. Some dragons had gold, and others had other things. Serenity seemed quite pleased with her room full of books and Xenomorph merchandise. The dragon was currently curled up reading Divergent, and Kiana hummed. She had just gotten out of the shower, and she was in the process of getting dressed. "Kiana." Serenity whispered. Kiana turned around, and her eyes widened at the intricate crystal in Serenity's hand. Luckily, Kiana had bought a book about dragon's courting rituals. The crystal was a sleeping dragon, and it was a dark green that was slightly transparent. Kiana took the crystal, and she could have sworn Serenity purred. She examined and noticed that the horns looked similar to Serenitys. "Do you like it?"
"Yes. I've never seen this crystal?" Kiana hummed as the crystal would slowly fade from black to the same green as Serenity's flames.
"It's called Nightmare Crystal!" Serenity puffed out her chest. "I made the dragon all by myself." Kiana smiled at Serenity, who looked proud of herself. Kiana set the dragon on the desk. Her hair knocked down, and Kiana went to catch the crystal dragon before it shattered. It hit the ground, and Kiana's heart stopped. There was a laugh behind her, and Serenity picked up the dragon, which was perfectly intact. "It's also very hard to break. I think its hardness is similar to a diamond?" Kiana sighed in relief, and she frowned. She made a void crystal, and she found some string. She wrapped it and made a necklace. She put it around Serenity's neck, and Serenity froze. The dragon didn't expect the goddess to return the gift.
"Serenity!?" Kiana yelped as the dragon went down. She could have sworn that it was customary to give a courting dragon something of hers. The white-haired goddess quickly turned Serenity around, and she sighed in relief. She smiled softly at the dragon's red face. "Did I do something wrong?"
"No." Serenity whispered. "It's just that when a female dragon's mate gives something personal, it means they want to have kids in the future." Kiana went scarlet.
"I mean, we can have kids." Kiana stuttered.
"I know." Serenity had known about Kiana's little secret since she found her in the cave.
"How?" Kiana yelped.
"Dragons have an acute sense of smell." Serenity sat up. "Mei has one, too." Kiana yelped as the doorbell rang. "Hmm? Is someone here?"
"Ah! Is it time already!?" Kiana quickly got dressed and wore a blue and white dress. Serenity followed the goddess as she watched her mate trip over nothing. Kiana rushed to the door and opened. A beautiful white-haired woman smiled at the goddess. "Mother!"
"About time you opened the door idiot!" A light purple haired woman pulled Kiana's cheek. "Honestly! Mother and I had to have Aunt Himeko escort us!"
"Sirin." The woman smiled. "Stop fighting with your sister." Himeko came in and saw Serenity. Serenity smelled the alcohol on the woman and dodged the incoming woman.
"Ah. Serenity, you had to dodge." Himeko rubbed her head.
"Kiana, who is this?" Sirin asked.
"I'm Serenity, Kiana's mate." Serenity bowed to the white-haired woman.
"I'm Cecilia Schariac. Kiana's mother and this lady here is Sirin Kaslana. Kiana's older sister. It seems you already met Himeko."
"Of course I know this lovely lady! She's the one who killed that monster and is the owner of this house!"
"What happened to Mei?" Sirin asked. "I thought you guys were together?"
"She cheated on Kiana. I thought I told you?" Himeko scratched her head. Cecilia frowned, and she hugged her daughter, and Sirin casually walked up to Serenity.
"I'll kill you if you hurt my sister."
"Dragons mate for life." Serenity shrugged. Sirin's eyes widened, and they started to sparkle.
"Oh my Herrscher! Are you the Serenity Fujakante!?" Sirin started to squeal.
"Yes." Serenity giggled. It's been a while since she met someone who admired her. Sirin started to freak out as she realized her sister was dating the dragon of Nightmares.
"Siri!" Kiana whined.
"I hope you'll protect my daughter." Cecilia bowed.
"I'll kill whoever hurts her." Serenity had a sinister look on her face, and Sirin started to squeal. Himeko backed away some, and Sirin held Serenity's shoulders.
"We'll kill them together!" Sirin started to ask Serenity a bunch of questions. Kiana decided she'd show her mom the gift Serenity gave her. She fetched the dragon and showed the two older women the dragon.
"I've never seen Nightmare Crystal before." Cecilia looked in awe. "Lady Serenity?" Serenity tensed at the nickname.
"Yes?"
"How did you meet my daughter?"
"After Mei cheated on her, I'm assuming she ran and ended up in the forest. It started to rain and she ended up in my cave." Serenity hummed.
"I woke her up." Kiana pouted.
"Your wailing woke me up." Serenity pinched Kiana's cheek.
"Kiana Kaslana!" Cecilia scolded the goddess.
"It's fine." Serenity hummed. "She's the reason I got to kill that monster."

Kiana stood at the front door of her house. Or should she say the house where she found who she thought was the love of her life cheating on her. Serenity saw Kiana hesitating, and she walked in. Kiana yelped, and she rushed in to stop the dragon from exploring a house. "Serenity, you can't just walk into people's houses!"
"Says the one who walked into my cave." Serenity went upstairs, and Kiana sighed. "Pack clothes for a week and necessities." Serenity hummed. Himeko had asked the dragon to take care of Kiana, and she accepted. Kiana packed things, and Serenity heard the door open. She saw a beautiful woman come in. She dropped her bag when she saw Kiana.
"Kiana?" The woman stepped forward, but black wings stopped her.
"Do not take a fucking step closer." Kiana hurriedly packed her things and Serenity kept the woman away.
"Why are you with my girlfriend!?"
"I see. Kiana is this Mei?" Serenity felt Kiana gripped her arm.
"Get away from my girlfriend!" Mei yelled.
"Your girlfriend?" Kiana looked at Serenity. "The last thing I heard was that you cheated on her. If I'm correct than cheating on your significant other with another person then it's a betrayal." Serenity hissed.
"Let's just go Serenity." Kiana dragged the dragon out and Mei followed. She was furious that this dragon would steal her girlfriend. Kiana made it outside with her bags and there was a yelp. Serenity was on the ground and Kiana saw Mei with her katana out. Seeing Serenity on the ground bleeding from her back, Kiana was furious. She gripped Mei's throat and growled. "Mei! Leave me alone!" Kiana gripped Mei's throat tighter.
"Ki...Kiana...stop."
"Kiana. Let her go." Serenity set her hand on Kiana's shoulder. Kiana gripped Mei's throat even tighter. Mei started to see spots.
"I don't want to see you. You cheated on me! I trusted you. I was going to propose but you were fucking that whore instead!" Kiana threw Mei down.
"Kiana!"
"Don't! You broke my heart." Kiana grabbed her bags and she left. Serenity followed her slightly turned on. The dragon frowned because she was going into heat. Serenity sighed as she unlocked the door. "Did Mei hurt you?" Kiana asked.
"I don't know. She sliced my back."聽 Serenity took her shirt off and Kiana frowned at the slice. She watched as the gash slowly healed into a scratch.
"You healed?"
"I have high regeneration speed." Serenity hummed. She took a step away from Kiana.
"Are you ok?"
"I'm fine!" Serenity quickly yelped out as Kiana came closer.
"Are you sure?" Kiana yelped as Serenity tackled her.
"You smell so good." The goddess whimpered as Serenity smelled her.
"Are you ok?"
"Smell so good." Serenity held Kiana who let her.
"Your acting like your in heat." Kiana's eyes widened. She remembered a class about animal mating seasons. She had read a book about dragons. When a dragon is going into heat, they tend to latch onto the closest potential mate. If they return the affections the courting ritual starts. Kiana looked in the mirror in front of them. Serenity had her arms wrapped around her middle and she looked adorable. Her horns were out and her tail was thumping on the floor. The dragon was addicted to the smell of the goddess in her arms.

Serenity woke up and she moved away from Kiana. They had fallen asleep and she was practically curled around her. Kiana woke up and she groaned. "I'm sorry! I went into heat." Serenity left and she slammed her door shut. Kiana was confused and Serenity was leaning against the door. Her heart was pounding in her chest. The dragon got in her bed and curled up. Her heart wouldn't calm down and the sense of betrayal washed over her. She sniffled feeling like she betrayed Nora and made Kiana extremely uncomfortable. She got up and she opened the door. Kiana stood at the door. "I'm sorry."
"It's fine! You're in heat so you can't control your actions. I understand it if you feel embarrassed. I didn't get uncomfortable when you tackled me."
"It's still rude for what I did! You should yell at me." Serenity whispered.
"How can I hate you when it feels natural for you to hold me?" Kiana whispered. "Even when I was with Mei, when she would hold me, it never felt like it was where I belonged."
"It doesn't matter. I jumped you."
"Yet I'm a potential mate for you."
"What?"
"I read in a book that dragons when they go into heat, they go towards the closest potential mate." Serenity went silent. "We can start the courting if you want."
"What about Mei?" Serenity asked as she took a step back.
"I'm hurt by her betrayal but I felt happy when you stepped up to me." Kiana took a step towards the dragon who whimpered. Serenity was fighting her instincts to jump on the white haired goddess in front of her. "When Mei hurt you, I saw red. You took me in even though I trespassed. You guarded me while I slept. You even went with me to get my stuff even though you dislike large crowds." Kiana had tears in her eyes.
"Kiana." Serenity whispered.
"So I want us to try. I was always fascinated with dragons and when I was a child I always wanted a dragon lover." Kiana admitted. "I will wait for you, because I know you're still hurting over your mate."
"We can try." Serenity whispered. The white-haired goddess froze. "But I must warn you that I'm possessive and you will be mine and only mine. No one will harm you, and those who do will die a slow and painful death." Kiana laughed, and she nodded. The dragon knew that this was what Nora would have wanted. Serenity sat on the bed, and Kiana got in it. "Will you sleep with me tonight?" The dragon asked the goddess.

There was a snarl and she froze as she saw blue eyes glow and she saw green fire. She wandered right into a dragon's cave. "Who dares disturb me while I sleep?" The dragon stepped out, and the goddess noticed it was a hybrid. She was beautiful.
"What pretty wings you have!" The goddess spoke quickly. The dragon girl froze at the compliment. "Please don't eat me!"

"I love you forever, my treasure." The Dragon hummed as she laid her head on the girl's lap. Her wings rested against her back.
"Please don't leave me." The goddess whispered, her eyes watering as the girl in front of her got on her knees.

Kiana Kaslana had everything. Her girlfriend Raiden Mei and her friends and family. So when she came home to her girlfriend cheating on her, Kiana's world shattered. So she ran far away and she ended up in a cave. There, she met a dragon hybrid who was quite displeased that she was woken up.
Serenity Fujakante was a dragon hybrid. She was peacefully sleeping and woke up to someone crying. There, she met a beautiful white-haired goddess who was heartbroken. Kiana's and Serenity's lives drastically changed that day.

The House
Kiana woke up covered with something. She felt something leathery on her body. She briefly moved against the warm body, and a hiss sounded in her ear. She sat up and heard a groan. Kiana stood up, and her stomach growled. She whined and went to see if there was any fish left. She saw a note and she frowned when she saw the blood on the floor. Kiana cooked herself some fish over the fire, and she decided that she would protect Serenity until she woke up. Kiana went outside and squatted over a bush. She peed, and she came back inside. Her face went red as she saw a naked Serenity. The dragon hummed as she waved and pulled a pair of boy shorts on. "I'm so sorry!"
"It's fine." Kiana looked away as she undid her bandages. Kiana heard another hiss, and she snuck a peek. She blushed scarlet as she saw Serenity's back muscles. She squeaked as the dragon turned around. "Do you always stare at girls who are stripping?" Serenity asked. Kiana froze, and the dragon smirked. She moved towards Kiana, who shivered. "Help me with these bandages." Serenity hummed. Kiana nodded, and she frowned when she noticed the three long scratches going down her stomach.
"What happened!?"
"I'm fine. It's just scratches. Are you staying for a while, or are you going home?"
"I'll stay a while." Kiana hummed as she bandaged the girls' torso.
"Good than you can come help me verify that I killed that monster." Serenity went to her room and came out with two yukatas. "Here. It might be a little too small with your chest being bigger than mine. I need to buy more clothes."
"I need to get mine." They both got dressed.
"Well, come along, little goddess." The dragon hummed as she took her hand. Kiana blushed, and she shook her head. She was still hurting over Mei, betraying her. She didn't want to get too attached to Serenity. The dragon led the goddess out of her cave, and Kiana's eyes widened at the sight of the dead monster.
"You killed that all by yourself?"
"Yes. I wish I had a way to have proof, but I guess she'll believe two of us."
"I have a phone."
"A phone?" Serenity asked as she saw Kiana pulled out a rectangular device.
"These are the new ones. They're touch screen and you can play games on it." Serenity heard the familiar click of a camera, and she looked in awe at the picture on the screen.
"It's has a camera?" Serenity asked. Kiana nodded, and she put her phone in her purse. "Humans are intelligent creatures."
"Yes."

"I can't believe you killed it." A red-haired woman came out, and Kiana's eyes widened.
"Himeko!?"
"Kiana!?"
"You two know each other?" Serenity asked.
"Yes. She's my aunt. We were part of the same squad."
"Why are you with Serenity? Are you cheating on Mei?" Kiana sniffled. "Oh dear, what happened?"
"Is Mei the woman who cheated on you?" Serenity asked softly. Kiana nodded, and she tackled Himeko into a hug.
"Mei cheated?" Himeko asked.
"With Elysia." Himeko got angry.
"She ended up in my cave." Serenity squatted, and she cried out in pain. Himeko looked at the dragon worriedly.
"I see. You got injured?"
"It's nothing compared to before. You're moving out?" Serenity noticed the house was empty.
"Yes. I found a house that was fully furnished, and so I'm leaving some of the stuff for you." Serenity hummed as she nodded. "Kiana. I want you to help Serenity move into here."
"Alright." Kiana moved away, and Serenity wandered around the house as the two girls chatted. It was a nice house with four bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. Serenity only noticed that three of the rooms were furnished and one was empty. Serenity frowned when she pictured a black haired child running past her. She could hear the laughing of her mate.
"Lady Fujakante?" A voice called to her. Serenity looked up and saw Himeko, who understood.
"I'm fine."
"I hope you'll be able to find another mate."
"I'm sure I will." Serenity snapped. Himeko knew she didn't mean snap at her, so she beckoned the girl over, and Serenity followed.
"Serenity?"
"I'm fine, Kiana."
"You're crying."
"Just a memory." Serenity took the cup of tea and drank it.

"You don't have much stuff." Kiana hummed as she helped Serenity put boxes in the cart.
"That's because most of it burned." Serenity hissed. She carefully wrapped a picture frame in cloth, and Kiana had seen a black haired boy smiling.
"I'm sorry."
"It's fine." Serenity hummed. They finished packing, and Serenity snapped her fingers, making the house disappear.
"Woah!"
"My magic can make a temporary living area until I can find a permanent spot." The dragon hummed as she pulled on the cart. Kiana walked next to her and kept an eye out. "Do you need clothes?"
"Yes, but I don't want to go home."
"Why not?"
"Because I don't want to face Mei alone yet."
"I can go with you."
"You would do that?" The dragon nodded, and they made it to the house. Serenity started to carry boxes, and Kiana helped. Serenity unpacked the boxes. The dragon put the picture on the fireplace. Kiana came up and noticed the picture. Serenity was smiling happily in the photo, and there were two children smiling and laughing. She saw a back haired boy with green eyes hugging the children.
"That's Nora. He was my mate. The two kids are Keanu and Nykki. They were four." Serenity let out a squeak as Kiana hugged her.
"I'm sorry."
"It's in the past." Serenity hummed as she moved away. "I was thirteen anyway." Serenity said as she started to unpack the furs. She set them in front of the fireplace, and she smiled softly at the picture.

"You're really pretty!" Kiana yelped. The dragon looked past her, and Kiana turned around. It was storming now, and Kiana sighed and turned around. "You're not going to eat me?" The dragon shook her head and ventured closer. There was the sound of lightning hitting something, and a tree slammed in front of the cave. Kiana screamed and jumped forward. Something wrapped around her waist, and Kiana noticed a tail.
"You were escaping the storm?" The girl asked.
"Yes." Kiana moved away, and the dragon moved deeper into the cave.
"Are you going to just stand there?" The girl asked as she stopped
"No. I'll come along." Kiana rushed down towards the dragon. "You're the queen of the Nightmares."
"Serenity Fujakante." The dragon hummed. Kiana looked up, and she saw a quaint little house deeper in the cave.
"There's a house in the cave!?"
"It's quite rude to not introduce yourself."
"Ah! I'm Kiana Kaslana."
"The goddess?" Serenity hummed.
"Yes."
"I see. You've been crying." She opened the door, and Kiana stepped in. She took off her shoes.
"I haven't been crying!"
"Your wailing woke me up." Serenity hissed. Kiana went silent, and she wiped her face.
"I'm sorry."
"I don't need your story. You can stay here until the storm stops." Serenity moved towards a door, and she opened it. She came back out with a shirt and tossed it at her. "I'll be back. Get changed." Serenity left, and Kiana took her dress off. She put the shirt on and realized that it barely covered her thighs. Kiana sat down, and she put a pillow on her lap. The door opened, and Kiana screamed at the black shape. "Do you always scream?" Serenity hissed. She removed her cloak, and Kiana noticed the horns on her head. Serenity put wood in the fireplace, and Kiana backed up as she breathed fire onto the wood. Green flames flickered and came to life, and Kiana moved closer to the flames. Serenity got up, and she went to her room. She found a pair of shorts and came back out. "Here." Serenity tossed them towards Kiana. Kiana put them on, and Serenity turned around. She went outside with a pot and carried it inside. She grabbed a rag and started to wipe Kiana's face.
"What are you doing!?"
"Cleaning your face. You have black streaks running down your face." Serenity finished and went back outside. Kiana felt embarrassed, and she heard Serenity come back in. Serenity grabbed a few fish and shoved them on what looked like metal sticks. She set them over the fire, and she crouched.
"Thank you."
"Want to explain why you were in my cave?" Serenity asked.
"My girlfriend cheated on me."
"I'm sorry."
"Don't be. I was too in love and was happy to see the signs." Kiana sighed.
"Dragons don't cheat. We mate for life. Sometimes our mates die and we try to find another one."
"Did your mate die?" Kiana asked.
"He was killed when the undead came. He was protecting our children."
"Eggs?"
"You think I lay eggs!?"
"Dragons lay eggs!"
"I'm half dragon." Serenity scoffed.
"I'm sorry."
"It's fine." Serenity hummed. She checked on the fish and handed Kiana one. Kiana ate it, and Serenity started to chow down.
"This is good!"
"My mate was an incubus, so I had to learn to cook because he can't eat raw meat." Serenity hummed as she continued to eat.
"I see." Kiana yawned, and Serenity got up.
"You can sleep in my room." Serenity hummed. "I'm not going to sleep tonight anyway. I need to go outside anyway."
"Why?" Serenity led her to the door.
"There is a monster out there. You're lucky it didn't kill you. I need to guard the cave. This is my living quarters until I can get a house out. I saw one and it's for sale. The woman there said I could have it if I couldn't kill the monster."
"How big?"
"It's a fast elusive son of a bitch. I'm hoping your wailing didn't lead it here." Serenity hissed. Kiana went to go out the door but Serenity gripped her wrist. "You need rest." Serenity hissed. "I don't have much because it's just furs." Serenity opened the door and herded her towards the bed of furs. "I shall protect you while you sleep." With that the dragon disappeared. Kiana sat on the bed and she started to cry. She took her hair down and she held her knees as she laid down. Kiana smelled the scent of strawberries and cherry blossoms. There was a small smell of wood and cave musk but Kiana buried herself deeper in the furs. She sobbed as she realized that Mei betrayed her trust and shattered her heart. Kiana's eyes closed and she fell asleep. Serenity hummed as she moved away from the bedroom door. She went outside and let her wings stretch and her tail thrashed behind her. Serenity sat at the mouth of the cave and she heard the roar of the monster. Serenity smirked and she summoned her scythe. She quickly ran toward the roar and she jumped into a tree. Her eyes zeroed in on the sight of the monster eating a deer. Green flames encased her scythe blade and she quickly jumped and attacked the monster. She went flying backwards as it reared its ugly head and she screamed as she attacked it. The monster slashed at her and she screamed. Her scythe made contact with its skin slashing it in half. Serenity panted as she sat against the tree.
