Summary:
Sevilla, a few hundred years ago
After years of struggling to make ends meet, Sergio has all but given up on saving his family’s estate. He’s already sold off more land than is probably wise, the castle walls are crumbling and he can only hold off on paying his workers for so long without guilt gnawing away at his insides.
That is until he gets his hands on an invitation to Lord Piqué’s ball. The rich noble is desperately searching for a wife, even promising a handsome reward for it and it’s the solution to all of Sergio’s problems.
It's the perfect plan really. He’s going to dress up as a princess and charm Lord Piqué into asking for his hand. Everything else, he’ll deal with after he gets his hands on the money to save his castle.
Lord Piqué however does not turn out at all like the husband Sergio expected and maybe his own secret isn’t the only one left to discover.
