Okay, so did we all just collectively forget one of the last scenes in Eclipse? Because during my reread I was like, wait a minute, huh?
So we all know that Edward is all "I give up the conditions; I want this to be done your way," and it's all cute and nice, because Edward is finally admitting that Bella deserves more agency in her life and such.
BUT, did we forget that my man Edward (yeah, the 100 year old virgin, Edward) tried to have SEGS with Bella right then and there IN THE MEADOW?!?!

The song of Achilles(Madeline Miller)
So this is a very popular book but I still would like to speak on it. It honestly left me in tears. Left me empty. Omg. So it follows Patroclus, Achilles lover. And I mean the writing is just so beautiful, I have never cried while reading a segs scene yet here we are. This is a book that is worth reading. It all war, love, drama, fighting, death, & H E A R T A C H E. It’s beautiful and tragic 10/10

“Character A and Character B broke up, but now they meet at a Christmas party.” With roope hintz please 🤍
When Esa had invited you to his Christmas party you declined.
He insisted, claiming that Clara just wouldn’t be happy if you didn’t come.
“Esa, no I can’t-“
“You can! You absolutely can! You are saying no”
You told him you would think about it but you didn’t have time to think before Clara had text you saying she was so happy you’d decided to come.
Clara had been most heartbroken when you and Roope split up. It was hard moving to a new country, trying to learn a new language and fitting in with the other wags.
When you began dating Roope you’d taken it upon yourself to learn Finnish which you used to speak to Clara, Esa, Miro and Joel too. They all felt a little bit more relaxed around you.
She spent the following weeks glaring and throwing around Finnish swears at him.
When the day came around for the party you were late. On purpose. You didn’t want to be a focus, you wanted to slip in and be unnoticed see the Lindell’s and go.
That idea was launched out of the window when you arrived and Tyler yelled across the room “She hath arrived!”
You laughed “Segs, how much eggnog have you drank?”
His eyes went wide “Can sober me not be excited to see you?! But… just a little bit”
You shimmied out of his hug and found your way to the couch where Esa and Clara were sat. Her eyes light up when she sees you.
“You came!”
“Of course, Hauskaa joulua!” merry christmas
She beamed “oh I miss you so much, come see Astrid she’s getting so big you’re missing it all!”
Esa handed off the baby to you, the little girl had you wrapped around her finger. Not quite wanting to let go.
Parents were grateful, Clara and Esa used that as an excuse to go mingle. You happily walked around with the baby saying hello to people.
Subconsciously, you looked for him
He wasn’t anywhere to be seen.
Maybe he was with a new girl? On a date? He didn’t want to come because he knew you would be there?
That thought was slowly disrupted when Astrid began crying.
You knew where her bottle was so instead of finding Clara you did it yourself.
The kitchen was empty, just you and Astrid. The room was silent bar her little sucking sounds.
You were swaying her, in an attempt to get her to sleep. Spinning around and around abruptly stopping when someone in the door cleared their throat.
“Jesus! You scared me!”
He chuckled “Nice dance moves”
“Don’t sneak up on someone holding a baby!”
“I didn’t sneak up on you, you weren’t paying attention” you rolled your eyes at that one.
It was then it settled in that you were in the same room, he was standing in front of you.
“How have you been?”
You sighed “Roope we don’t have to-“
“I just wanted to know how you’ve been, Miro said you hadn’t been going for your weekly coffee lately”
“Yeah well I don’t need to learn Finnish anymore, I mean I only did it for you”
You hadn’t meant to snap, it just came out.
“Kulta…”
You put your hand up to stop him “No, please don’t-“
“Please just let me explain myself”
“I don’t want to hear it Roo, the time is gone please just leave it”
You walked past him but he caught your elbow, your eyes rising to meet his “Kulta.. please”
His voice was broken, he was broken.
You reluctantly nodded “Okay, speak”
He let out a deep breath “I was scared, okay? And I know that’s silly but you were learning Finnish, you were doing things for the team, my family? It was a lot and I was scared! I loved you, I still love you! I was nervous I couldn’t give you what you deserve-“
“Don’t you think I was the one to make that decision?! That I had a say in our life?”
He nodded, meekly “you should have, I was wrong and I know now I made the wrong decision I regret it! I’ve waited so long for the time I see you again”
Your breath caught in your throat “Roo..”
“Please, please Kulta tell me you still love me too. That I didn’t screw it all up” his hand reached up to your cheek, thumb brushing away a tear rolling down your cheek.
“I still love you and I shouldn’t but I do. Fuck, Roope I can’t do this all again you broke my heart”
“And i will never ever make that mistake again”
Your lip quirked in a smile, he leaned down and kissed you quick.
“Minä rakastan sinua” i love You
“Say it again” you mumbled, having missed the words.

You smiled, happy tears now rushing down your cheeks.
The happy moment was ruined when Clara announced “It’s a Christmas miracle!”
Most of the team was stood watching what had just happened, you blushed in embarrassment.
Roope shrugged while Esa took his daughter from your arms “Let me just take this little cock block back”
You laughed “I think a thank you actually goes to Astrid, this was all her”
Roope smiled, leaning over to his god-daughter “kiitos pikku pupu” thank you little bunny
The rest of the night you weren’t found far from Roope. His hands always had to be on you.

I don't have a full idea of all these terms, I do think loveless and lovequeer probably are the most used ones. And I've seen people use loveless to mean different things (both not using love to describe yourself/your experiences and the seemingly basic idea that love doesn't make you human/isn't the whole point)
one thing here is that as a Norwegian I've only heard of this idea that "love is what makes you human" through aro communities. I assume it's a U.S. thing, but feel free to correct me if that's inaccurate.
In Norwegian one very relevant things on the topic of these communities, particularly relationship anarchy is that the word for boyfriend/girlfriend/enbyfriend is "kjæreste" which directly translates to "dearest", which may have some implications (I don't know that most people think about it, but one can see it). At least it's gender neutral.
I'll translate some more relationship, romantic and other arguably relevant terms for y'all.
forhold: relationship (any type, pretty much same usage as English afaik)
vennskap: friendship (venn -skap)
venn: friend
vennine: friends who are girls (mainly used by older folks, definitely in use)
kamerat: friends who are boys (same as previous)
klassekamerat: classmate. Uses boy version for people of all genders. usage is just like in English.
platonisk: platonic. I think it's taken from English. used a bit more rarely than in English.
type: slang for boyfriend. (also used as slang meaning "for example"/"such as")
dame: slang for girlfriend (also means lady/woman).
kjæreste: partner/gf/bf/nbf etc. literally means "dearest".
kj: abbreviation for "kjæreste", sometimes pronounced like K.J.
kjære deg: literally "dear you", sometimes said when trying to calm someone down. doesn't imply anything about a relationship, can even be used in a demeaning way. Can be used with partners too.
kjære: dear. like in English.
å holde noen kjær: caring about someone. includes romance, doesn't necessarily imply it. implies closeness (e.g. familial, platonic)
ektemann/mann: husband. literally means real + man. might have some implications on masculinity
kone: wife
kjærlighet: love (noun).
forelskelse/å forelske seg i noen: falling in love/to fall in love with someone. (for-elske)
å elske: to love, used about anything really, can be said platonically, carries more weight than liking something or someone
å like: to like, not really used about people in the same way as you would say you're "forelsket" in/with them. otherwise like English.
friendzone: friendzone is used as slang.
I guess I could add familial terms too, since I'm bored:
mor: mother
mamma: mom/mommy
far: father
Pappa: dad/daddy
søster: sister
bror: brother/bro
broder: bro (also used in religious context I think)
søsken: siblings (plural). you can technically say "et søsken", but it's not used much
mormor: maternal grandmother (mother's mother)
morfar: maternal grandfather (mother's father)
farmor: paternal grandmother (father's mother)
farfar: paternal grandfather (father's father)
bestemor: grandmother (usually used in place of either mormor or farmor depending on family)
bestefar: grandfather (same as previous)
kusine: girl cousin
fetter: boy cousin
tante: aunt
onkel: uncle
I'm not even trying the rest, idk what "søskenbarn", "niese" or "third cousin twice removed" means.
obviously language may be different different places in Norway and this is just what I could think of. Also, I've not lived anywhere English speaking just so that's said.
To be clear this is all Bokmål, there are some differences in Nynorsk (e.g. syster), but I think you can use most if not all these (excluding slang) there too.
