Book review - The Sealed Nectar

Perhaps one of the best books on the Seerah (life of the prophet saw)

The book covers his day to day life, key events in Islamic history, the spread of Islam, the Prophet (saw) interacted with Companions and family, his role as a leader, as well as his characteristics and mannerisms.

The more you learn about the life of the Messenger of God (peace be upon him), the more you learn about his devotion to his Lord and his concern for all of humankind.

This book is available in most languages and good for those seeking awareness about Prophet saw, as it is easy to navigate and all stories/Hadith are fully referenced.

I purchased this book in English for myself and in Urdu for my mum from Darussalam book store ❤️

Certainly there are moments when you’re obliged to do something but your heart burns like a hot coal for never being able to resist a thing you never liked, but you have no choice and so you burn deep inside until it turns into ashes. Thus, you end up being cold, perhaps when the wind blow a little, the smoke will be ignited back from the ashes but... I prefer it cold. A tragedy and misery from a story untold.

No matter how you try, when you’re out of your shell and exposed to the world, always put in your mind that there is always someone more better, more cleverer, more smarter than you’re. Stay humble, verily life out here is tough but you have to excel in both dunya and akhirah, ask Allah for steadfastness and a brave heart for whoever have Allah, have everything. May Allah grant you lot success in both worlds.Amīn

And the longing that burns everything within that turns into ashes of hope, hope for the union of two souls. But if it was not meant for us to enjoy our company in this life of transient bliss, then I ask my Lord to provide for us a garden of eternity where we can sit holding our cup of silver and gold, spend a hundred or perhaps a thousand of years staring at each other, smiling, laughing, reclining on thrones.

As for now my dear, all we can do is hope. Either of the two worlds, dunya or ākhira and indeed no doubt that the latter is better than the former.

There was a narrow river just right beside the window of our old house on that old town, when I have nothing to do, I used to sit down near the window and watch the water gush forth waiting for a crocodile to appear. Those childhood days were precious, sometimes those memories come flashing back, those were old days.

Perhaps when you depart one day, most of these people will forget you, maybe one or two would remember but there is no assurance and the whole existence of you will wither away and that’s why you should not live for the creation but rather fix your self and prepare for the next, your meeting with your Lord is indeed certain if there is something to be worried about it is your meeting with The Most-High and waiting for His Judgement over you, whether you would be amongst the أصحاب اليمين أو من أصحاب الشمال May Allah make us from the أصحاب اليمين. Allahumma Amīn. But the heart still yearns for the third group mentioned in that sūrah, أُوْلَئِكَ الْمُقَرَّبُونَ 🍃

Im trying to blend very well here but it seems so strange to act low key. Fire can never be hidden, it's either the early smoke will be noticed or the burned ashes comes after it. Hence, I sprinkle bits of my poetries in order to hide, burning words unspoken.

It'll continue to remain bland, until the genuine one recognises, a heart captivates a heart, so as the soul that traverse the same path gets along well. Till those who understood sees the passion that exist within them was hiding behind my words that was concealed within words.
