I WAS ABLE TO DO THE WHOLE WEEK 🎉!!! This was so much fun and thank you @desert-duo-week for making this happen! My only comment on this piece is that I wanted to do a hug even tho I don’t know how to draw people hugging, look at me go getting out of my comfort zone <3.

Also short!Grian rights. Make him itty. Bitty, even, if you dare.

your body lay like a warm soft star

You know grian and scar,our desert duo, act more like brothers than partners.

I mean just imagine in third life grian is the older one and scar is the younger brother.

Scar gets hurt because of grian and like any other sibling tries to avoid that scar tells their parents so he plays with him.

Then in last life grian has his own friends and doesn't want to play with scar, because you know younger siblings are annoying, so scar is alone without friends, and grian is popping off and having a great time with his friends.

Then in double life it's like their parents told grian to play with his younger brother, that's why grian is so reluctant and doesn't really want scar as a soulmate. And then he goes off to play with is friends, secret soulmate, alone.

And at last we have limited life were scar and grian have their own friends and suddenly grian realises that maybe his little brother scar isn't as lame as he thought him to be.

I mean don't get me wrong the angst you get with them being boyfriends or just partners is immaculate but them being brothers just fits perfectly.

Okay, so after Mumbo came back from his hiatus, you know how he had Grian run across the bridge whilst Scar does an epic backflip?

Well, after that, what happened?

I like to think they all hung out a lot more, and they all went to Grian's base.

It eventually gets late, and the three settle in to Grian's nest.

wanna write this but might never so here’s outline for a oneshot. 

Oneshot of scar walking around (double life) taking damage and wincing, and not hearing grian or anyone else say anything behind him. None of them are his soulmate. He figures fate isn’t binding them this time around. He leaves grian, pulls away so it will hurt less, and he can stop betraying his real soulmate, and goes off to find them. He only finds other pairs. He’s lonley, but finds Jellie and an allay and figures he’ll find them eventually. He winds up next to grian again, giant jellie is pawing at him, the allay is making him a little dizzy, grian is looking at him with annoyance. Did he do something wrong? Grian drops a drip stone on him, and he sees them both get hurt at the same time. Oh. he’s an idiot. Really.

Grian agrees. Fate’s binding ‘em once more it seems.

There is so much I want to say, though can’t find perfect words for… but I’ll try! First of all I am so happy I was able to create art for Frogman’s absolutely wonderful fic, which you should totally check out here!!! As well as be able to work with other amazing artists (one which also drew amazing art for this chapter, GO SEND SOME LOVE TO @relgnira !!!). I am SOOO glad I joined @hermitshippingbigbang , the people I have met there are ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL (go check out the other amazing fics) and really brought me out of my comfort zone which I 100% needed <3.

not canon to this storyline, but a story I wrote

Grian is already married before he meets scar, to tarius. but after evo, grian met scar, and grian was a traumatized little pesky bird who didn't trust anyone. Scar was the first one to calm grian down, and cause of scar's presents they got closer. Then 3rd life happened. Creeper incident wasn't supposed to kill scar. Just scare him.

They became closer, so close that before the big 3rd life war they started dating.

But when they were the last two people alive, grian was praying to the watchers and whatever gods there was to change the rules, to let them both live. But of course it doesnt happen.

When everyone returned to their servers, no one but grian and the other evo members could remember. Grian couldnt stand looking at scar for a while, so he avoided him. Grian realized that scar couldnt remember and cause of that they weren't dating.

While grian was avoiding scar, last life happened. This caused more feelings to raise in grian, so after last life ended. Grian decided to tell scar everything, about the death games and the watchers. Everything.

For a while scar hated grian for keeping this from him, but scar realized that grian is the only person he could talk to. Once again they started to get close again, right before double life they started dating (again).

Right before secret life, they started to plan their wedding.

And now scar is lost and grian is a wreck.
