Ahoy mateys! Let's explore @thecubanthing 🌴 After looking at some of the delicious pictures from my friends @mississaugaeats, @hungry.jo, @jeannieats_ and, @hankmoony, I was tempted to step out towards Mississauga's Celebration Square to explore this Cuban delicacy. I got a chance to meet the man behind the Cuban thing, chef @chuchi_rivero. He's such a humble and gem of a person and, as we spoke, I could seriously see his passion for bringing the authentic Miami Cuban heritage to us. So what did I try? 𝗕𝗚 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗽𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗻 🍔 : The buttered bread bun is paired with a Crunchy Chicken Breast 🍗 topped with Berry Guava 🍇🍐 Caramelized Sauce, Mango lettuce 🥭, Cabbage 🥦, 𝙏𝙤𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙨 🥬 (Deep fried green plantains) with Cilantro Island Mojo Sauce 🌊. Too bad that I came a little late and couldn't enjoy the other delicacies but, now since they are in Sauga, I can revisit them anytime 😃.
