Taking the Andy Weir route for folks looking at my book.
Hi,
Welcome to my Science Fiction story, "Gladiators of Internium: The Realm of Stolen Memories.”
I started running this story several years ago and have done my best to write it at an understandable level. There may be sections that need more work and attention to flush out details and story points, but this is why I am doing this Andy Weir review style.
Let me know if you see anything that needs to be corrected so I can revise it. This is a family drama, mystery, and science fiction novel with swordplay. But I have done my best to make it easy to read. This was the type of book I wanted to write in my teens as I was power-diving my way into the works of Robert Heinlein, Frank Herbert, and Edgar Rice Burroughs.
These stories occur on an extraterrestrial superstructure inhabited by ex-Roman gladiators, Roman citizens, ancient Chinese, and an alien race known as the Squall. All of them were resurrected from the dead after many centuries. It has been a generation since a renegade explorer returned to this place with these primitive humans. A mystery has started to surface in that many of the humans resurrected via the Squall have had sections of their memories stolen. When the Ancient Gladiator General Spartacus, a friend of the Squall explorer Libra, turns up, this mystery hits home. As the search to discover what happened to Spartacus's memory unfolds, a larger conspiracy starts to reveal itself and may connect to the events that led to the peace that the Squall and the humans now share.

Hello! This is a sample paragraphs of a chapter of a fanfiction I've been working on for two weeks now. I accept criticism. And, the story features characters that are left out on the show and they actually matter. Enjoy!
“... it was horrifying. A mother should never witness the death of her own offspring,” said the. owner of the vegetable stall a few feet from the incident. The middle-aged woman stated earlier her surname to be Taner, “I didn't see it but, I can't imagine the pain Elyse must endure."
Jaena wrote down every important detail of her words as Bronn went on with the questioning. She leaned over Martell and whispered, “you take notes on the next one. Chief might see potential in you. “
“Might you know the boy’s father?”
Taner shook her head, reorganising her products, “Elyse and I have been friends even before. we sold here in Cobbler’s Square,” she leaned closer to the three policemen to whisper, “rumour has it, she fucked a noble boy back in the day. Don't believe her lies that her lover died. “
“Right. The boy’s a bastard. What's wrong with that? In Dorne, there's nothing to be shameful about that, “Martell flicked the ashes of his cigarette with bitterness before placing it between his lips. It was known around the city or maybe even outside that the former Captain had a beloved paramour he left in Dorne who was a bastard of Harmen Uller, Lord of Hellholt. Oberyn himself fathered eight bastards, four of the youngest through his paramour. The others he bred with women from somewhere in the world he travelled to.
“This is not Dorne, “Jaena looked up from her notes.
“Of course, it's not. This is too ugly to be Dorne,” he puffed the smoke out of his nostrils, his eyes wandering to the naked children chasing each other around the square. He was right. Years ago, Jaena saw Dorne, there was equality there and bloodthirsty men littered everywhere. Dornish have always been known for their thirst for combat. Oberyn fails not to show that.
The woman went on for a few minutes sharing gossip regarding the victim’s family. Jaena’s ears. were hurting, Oberyn was on his third cigarette and Bronn had yawned several times to display his boredom, “... and, did you know?” Taner asked, oblivious to their obvious tiredness of hearing her continue and continue.
“I think we'll move on now,” Bronn scowled, calling to his companions. He snatched one cigarette from Martell, and placed it between his fingers, “many thanks for your time.”

Theoretical Perspectives and Feminist Frameworks
Events during the first decade of the millinnium have profoundly affected gender roles. The study of gender emerged as one of the most important trends in the discipline of sociology in the twentieth century. This book is a collection of 500 pieces of expert advice and personal perspectives from stroke survivors. For this reason, this book is more than a factual resource, but also a source of first-hand inspiration and encouragement to persevere, in order to make one’s life after stroke maximally healthy and complete. I particularly appreciated actionable and pragmatic advice, structured into chapters -- for example, hobbies that promote brain-rebuilding, tips to support the daily activities, such as carrying things. These are exactly the kind of tips I would like to reach for as a nurse, educating patients and their caregivers about the short-, mid- and long-term realities about living with stroke.
