Nina Caliente Makeover

E siamo al makeover della seconda sorella Caliente: Nina. Come scritto nel makeover di Dina, le sorelle Caliente sono i miei sims preferiti in assoluto, quelli con cui ho più giocato in ogni versione di The Sims in cui sono apparse. La mia versione di Nina è una ragazza sportiva, dai gusti rock e lievemente alternativi, in opposto alla raffinatezza della sorella. Le ho donato un taglio di capelli corto e sbarazzino, un look lievemente aggressivo e qualche piercing che sul suo volto non stavano affatto male. Per “addolcire” il suo aspetto, ho scelto il rosa come colore dominante in quasi tutto il suo abbigliamento e, devo ammetterlo, il risultato non mi dispiace affatto. Elenco DLC:

The Specter Household - 13 Dead End Lane

I spent the last few days recreating the Specter family and house. I split it into two posts, you can see the first one here.

For the house, I took quite a few artistic liberties. For reference, here’s the original house. I knew I wanted to place this house in the fancy residential area in Strangerville, so that meant that I had to change how the lot is structured. Instead of the cemetery facing the house, I put the cemetery in the back, facing the opposite direction, which I think makes it very picturesque. Even though I moved the chair and Ichabod’s grave towards the center of the cemetery, the rest of the graves’ placements are pretty much the same.

The other big thing was that I drastically changed the theme of the house. Instead of an entirely brick, Moroccan home, I opted for an semi-Victorian vibe instead to match the rest of the big houses in Strangerville (and because there just isn’t enough Moroccan furniture to furnish a whole house). So, the outside got replaced with grey siding that’s sort of brick-like and the inside got replaced with various brown wallpapers. While I did change the floor plan a little, it’s all relatively the same shape and I think it still keeps the same aura as the original house with a lot of extra details.

Now, originally, I wasn’t going to have this house confirm any specific fan theories about Olive; it was just going to be a weird home with a cemetery. But, when I looked back at the original build and saw the empty room in the corner of the house, my mind instantly was like “killing room.” This house supports the “serial killer” fan theory of Olive which, ngl I’ve always leaned towards anyway.
